Untrustworthy Reviews, Misleading Clothes, and Terrible Shipping: A Warning About This Website
First off, gotta say, all them five-star reviews down below? Total fakes, man. I mean, seriously, take a look at 'em. They all sound the same and give these generic responses. Can't trust 'em, no way.
Now, let's talk about the clothes, man. They ain't nothin' like what you see in the pictures or even what they describe. I bought myself seven items, thinkin' I'd be lookin' fly. But guess what? They were all way too small, bro. I usually wear a small or medium, so I even got some medium and large sizes, just in case. But dang, these clothes were so tiny, I couldn't even squeeze into 'em. And the worst part? The sizes were all messed up, man. No proportion whatsoever.
And don't even get me started on the material, dude. It's like they used the cheapest stuff they could find. When I tried puttin' on them itty-bitty clothes, my skin started itchin' like crazy. I mean, seriously, it felt like I was wearin' sandpaper or somethin'. And after I finally managed to take 'em off, my skin was all red and irritated. Ain't nobody got time for that, man.
But hey, if all that ain't enough to scare you away, let me tell ya 'bout the shipping. It took over a whole month for my order to arrive, man. I mean, come on! If you decide to give this website a shot (which, trust me, you'll regret), just forget you even placed an order. Otherwise, you'll be sittin' there, all annoyed and impatient, waitin' for your stuff to show up.
I ain't ever gonna buy from this website again, and I suggest you stay away too, my friend. And not just from this one, but from any other websites like it. Spreadin' the word, man. Hopefully, this review helps others avoid the same mistake I made. Peace out.
PopJulia Review: Fighting Scammers, Getting My Money Back, and Exposing Their Shady Business Practices
So, I gotta give you all an update on this whole PopJulia situation. Man, it's been a real struggle, let me tell ya. It took me a whopping 6 months to fight these scammers, but guess what? I finally got all my money back! And get this, I haven't even used up all my resources yet.
Listen up, folks who haven't ordered anything from PopJulia yet, I'm telling you, don't be fooled by those fancy pictures on their website. They probably swiped 'em from somewhere else, 'cause let me tell ya, what you actually get ain't even close to what they show ya.
Now, for those of you who are already in the thick of it, fighting with these scammers, my advice is to keep on pushin'. I mean, I wrote a good ol' letter and sent it by mail to the big shots at PayPal in Nebraska. I spilled all the beans about my terrible experience and the shady scheme these scammers are runnin'. And you know what happened? PayPal actually called me back in just a week and refunded the rest of my money! Can you believe it? That was for the fake item they had the audacity to ship to me. Oh, and by the way, I didn't bother returning that piece of junk to China. Nope, not my problem. Their return policy is a joke, and their whole way of doin' business is just plain wrong. My bank even got involved in this mess, but I ended up closin' the case 'cause PayPal gave me a courtesy credit. So now, it's CHICV INTERNATIONAL HOLDING LIMITED - the big shots behind PopJulia - who ripped off PayPal, not me. Good luck dealin' with that, fellas!
Hey, if any of y'all want more deets on how I managed to solve this whole dispute, just shoot me a message. I'll be happy to share my experience.
Oh, and one more thing for the PopJulia representative, if you're listenin'. Are you seriously tryin' to mock people by sayin' they get what they pay for? Let me tell ya somethin', buddy. They're payin' for the product you advertise on your fancy website, not the garbage you ship 'em. So quit playin' games and start treatin' your customers right!
Nightmare Experience: Cheap Knockoffs, Lengthy Shipping, and Refund Hassles
They be postin' them fancy lookin' pictures of the stuff they sell, tryin' to reel ya in. But lemme tell ya, once ya take the bait, it's a whole lotta trouble:
First off, it takes forever for your order to arrive 'cause it's comin' all the way from China. And when it finally does show up, it's a complete disaster. The product looks like a cheap knockoff of what they showed ya in the picture. The materials are garbage, put together all shoddy-like, and don't even get me started on the size. It's way too small, like they don't even know what measurements mean.
So ya think, "I'll just return this mess." But that's when the real nightmare begins:
First, they expect you to send it back to China, and guess who's payin' for that? Yep, you are. So you fork over the cash and send it back, followin' the return label they give ya. And then ya wait. And wait. And wait some more. In my case, I waited a whole dang four months, and still no word from 'em or any sign of a refund.
Finally, they come back with some weak offer of 10% cash back. Are they kiddin' me? No way I'm takin' that deal. I wanna see this through to the end. So I keep waitin'. And what do I get? The return package sent right back to me from China. Turns out, the address they gave me was a load of hogwash. So I reach out to 'em, and what do they say? They try to blame it all on me, sayin' it's my fault 'cause they get returns every day. Yeah, right. I call BS on that. I done read honest reviews from other folks who went through the same nightmare with 'em.
So here I am, six months after I first ordered from these jokers. I done wasted so much time and money, it ain't even funny. I can't believe this website is still up and runnin', stealin' money and time from hard-workin' folks like us in the US.
P.S. I attached a picture of the return package, usin' the return label they printed for me. Look at it yourself and see that nobody even bothered to claim it at customs. Can ya believe it?
Nightmare Experience with PopJulia: Unresponsive, Accusations, Privacy Breach, Lies, No Refund
I gotta tell ya, I had the most frustrating experience with PopJulia. I mean, seriously, it was a total nightmare. So get this, I sent them a whopping 15 emails because they had the audacity to claim that I never even placed an order. Can you believe that? They even had the nerve to charge me right away, but then they turn around and act like I'm making things up. Like, what the heck?
But wait, it gets even better. They had the gall to say that I ordered something completely different. I mean, come on now, I know what I ordered! And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, they had the audacity to say that they reimbursed me. Well, guess what? They didn't! Can you believe the nerve?
And here's where it gets really crazy. They had the nerve to suggest that I must have ordered from some other company. Like, seriously? I even sent them a copy and paste of the charge from their own company, PopJulia! But no, they just had to insist that I was someone else, living on the other side of the country. Can you believe the cheek of these people? And to top it all off, they even sent me all the personal info of the person they claimed I was. Talk about a major privacy breach!
But wait, there's more. They had the audacity to say that it wasn't their fault that I used a different name on my order. Are they kidding me? Who cares what name I used? It's still my order! I mean, seriously, it's like they're playing some kind of twisted game.
And the lies just kept coming. They miraculously found my original order from a whopping 2 months ago and had the nerve to say that they had just shipped it. Yeah, right! I've been waiting for 2 whole weeks and still no sign of those shoes. Lies upon lies, I tell ya. And to add insult to injury, they had the audacity to offer me a measly 10% off coupon for future purchases. Like I would ever even consider buying from them again. They must think I'm a total fool.
But here's the real kicker. They took my hard-earned money and refused to give me a refund for something I never even received. Can you believe the nerve? I kept correcting them, giving them all the accurate info, but they flat out refused to look into it any further. It's like they just didn't care about their customers at all. What a joke of a company!
I'm telling you, this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. Not only did they steal my money, but they were also incredibly rude and accused me of being confused and ordering under a different name and address. It's absolutely insane! I just want to warn everyone out there to stay far, far away from this company. Trust me, you don't want to go through what I went through.
Disappointed with PopJulia: Poor Quality Sweaters and Unhelpful Customer Service
I bought 4 things from PopJulia, like the Turtleneck Slit Solid Knitted Casual Cape Sleeve Sweater (ID: *** One-size, in gray and ivory), Pockets Turtle Neck Casual Long Sleeve Sweater (ID: ***), and White Cape Sleeve H-line Casual Knitted Poncho (ID: ***) One-size, in White. These Turtleneck Sweaters are made of bad fabric! They're so small, like for a kid. The White Cape Knitted Poncho came to me all messed up with a sticker (pointing arrow) stuck to the fabric, showing where it was damaged. These packages came when I was out of the Country. I was gone for 5 weeks taking care of my sick brother who eventually died. When I got back to the USA, I opened these packages and was so bummed out with those things. I contacted Customer Service to tell them about the problem and asked to return them. But they said no to the return. Here's what they keep telling me "We see that you were out of the country when the package was delivered. But that's our return policy. You can return items within 15 days from the delivery date (except for final sale items and swimwear). You can check the return policy here: https://www.popjulia.com/help/returns-and-exchanges. And for the damaged item, how about we give you 20% money back or 30% store credit so you can fix it yourself?". Take care, Finn, PopJulia. I will NEVER support this site! Pop Julia doesn't show their products accurately. Be careful, buyers!
Terrible Experience with PopJulia: Poor Customer Service and Shipping Issues
My experience with PopJulia was absolutely terrible. I found a few styles that I really liked and decided to place an order. I patiently waited for a whopping 4 weeks to receive my package, but that was expected since they did mention it would take 4-6 weeks.
Before placing my order, I made sure to carefully check the size chart for each item. However, when I finally received the package, I realized that a few items needed to be exchanged. The frustrating part was that I had to pay for the postage myself, which cost me around $25, just to send it back all the way to China.
Now, here's where things get even more frustrating. I sent out the package over a month ago and contacted PopJulia's customer service through email (because that's the only way to reach them). I provided them with the post-office custom form and the tracking number, hoping they could help me track the package. But guess what? They informed me that they hadn't received anything and couldn't track the package. They actually expected me to track it myself! And if they don't receive the package, they won't exchange or refund anything. Can you believe that?
Oh, and I forgot to mention that when I received my order, one item was missing. I contacted them about it, and they assured me that they would process it right away. But it's been a whole month, and all I've been hearing from them is that everyone is on vacation and they can't provide me with the shipping confirmation. So, I just have to sit here and wait.
The worst part about all of this is the way they handle their customer service. Throughout all the email exchanges, not once did they apologize or show any understanding for my frustration. They were just plain rude.
Honestly, this online store seems to have no clue about how to do business in the US. And when you consider all the trouble you have to go through, their items are actually quite expensive. If you're willing to throw your money away, then go ahead and order from them. But I highly doubt it's worth it.
Good luck if you decide to give them a try.
Disappointing Experience: Late Delivery, Wrong Items, and Poor Quality - Stay Away!
I ordered clothes from this site back in November 2017 because they had some really pretty clothes on display. It took a bunch of emails, like 4 or 5, to make sure I would actually get my stuff. Finally, just yesterday in January 2018, I got most of my clothes. But let me tell you, I am so disappointed, it's beyond belief!
First of all, I still haven't received 2 dresses and a pair of boots. I don't know what's taking so long! And when I opened up the packages they did send, guess what? They sent me doll clothes and baby shoes! Can you believe it? I mean, seriously, I'm 5'2" and weigh 117 pounds. The clothes they sent me could fit a 10-year-old kid! It's ridiculous!
The dress with the lips on it is so small that I'm thinking about cutting off the bottom and the sleeves and just wearing the top as a workout shirt for the gym. And don't even get me started on the shoes. I wear a size 8.5, but these shoes are so tight that my toes are in pain. It's like they don't even care about making clothes and shoes that actually fit real people!
I spent $112 on this site and let me tell you, I have nothing good to say about any of their products or their customer service. It's a total letdown. I would send this stuff back, but honestly, it took almost 2 months just to get this small amount of my order. I'm afraid if I send it back, I'll end up with nothing and be out of all that money.
Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money here. Go to Venus, Shein, or Fashion Mia instead. At least those places actually care about you, they're fast, polite, and their clothes are actually good quality.
I did send an email about the rest of my order, but I don't expect to get it anytime soon. There's always some issue with the shipping or courier service overseas that takes forever to get your stuff to the United States. It's so frustrating!
I'm just really sad that I can't give this place a rating lower than 1. That would still be too generous, to be honest. So take it from me, a fashionista who knows what's up, this place is not fashionable at all. It's totally out of fashion!
Sincerely,
Kim W
Disappointing Customer Service and Dispute with PopJulia Over Incorrect Items
My wife has been a regular customer on PopJulia for quite some time now. Recently, she decided to order 10 items all at once. Unfortunately, we have encountered some issues with two of the items, and it has turned into a back-and-forth dispute with the company. We have exchanged a total of 6 emails regarding these problems.
Firstly, one of the dresses was missing its matching belt. This was quite disappointing as it was an essential part of the outfit. Secondly, a floral-pattern T-shirt had a completely different pattern compared to what was shown on the website. It was not what we expected at all.
If PopJulia had handled these issues in a normal and professional manner, I would still have given them a 5-star rating. However, their handling of this particular matter has pushed me to my limit. Despite clearly pointing out the problems with the items, they have been making weak excuses. For instance, they claimed that the T-shirt was produced with a random pattern, which was never mentioned on their website. In fact, their website displayed four model-posed photos of the item, all featuring the same pattern.
Instead of simply providing us with a return label and processing a full refund for these two items, PopJulia is asking us to bear the cost of returning their incorrect products to Hong Kong. Additionally, they have even suggested that we keep the wrong items and offered a partial refund in the form of store credit. This is completely unacceptable.
It is evident that these individuals have no understanding of retail or customer service. They are disregarding my wife's history of purchasing hundreds of dollars' worth of items from them over time. Furthermore, they fail to recognize the potential for her to spend hundreds or even thousands more dollars in the future. Instead, they are fixating on these two items, which are worth less than $30 combined.
After exchanging 6 emails, we have decided to escalate the matter to PayPal. We are grateful that we made the payment through PayPal, as they can act as a mediator in this situation. If we had used a credit card directly, I would have already contacted the credit card company to file a complaint regarding fraudulent sales practices.
Disappointing Return Policy and Poor Quality: A Warning for International Customers
IN CHINA, The Return Center is in China. To make sure I'm a real customer, I included my order number and return tracking number in the message. And also, read to the last sentence, they trick you with the return policy.
1. RETURN:
Seems like they don't like accepting returns.
When I asked for a return, the representative sent me an email. Since international returns can take a long time and cost a lot on your side, they suggested some other ways to solve the issue. They offered me a 15% cash refund or a 20% store credit refund (only for USD orders) instead of returning the item(s). If there are any sizing issues, they said I could use this money to alter the clothes.
But when I insisted on the return, they sent another email. They said if I wanted to keep the item(s) and avoid the hassle of returning, they would improve the compensation rate to either 30% store credit (NOTE: only for USD orders) or 20% money refund.
I sent the return back as instructed via USPS track#LA***US on 01/29/2018. I paid $38.49 for the return postage. As of today, I still haven't received the $134.2 refund. My order number is H.
2. Quality
Really terrible stuff. I ordered a total of 7 items for $202.20, including $34 for expedited service. If it wasn't for the hassle of returning, I would have returned all of them.
3. Shipment and Return Policy
They send out the shipments gradually. In my case, I ordered on Dec. 11, 2017. I received three packages. The last package arrived on Jan. 22.
The $34 expedited charge is a joke!
MOST IMPORTANT: They trick you with the return policy. You have to contact them within 15 days when you receive EACH package, not when you receive the WHOLE order.
Ongoing Communication with Popjulia: Refund Finally Received After Multiple Emails
Here's the latest update on my ongoing communication with Popjulia (the most recent ones are at the top). I've attached the tracking receipt, delivery receipt, and the signature of the person who received the returning parcel.
July 27: Finally got the refund after so many emails!
July 17, I replied:
I sent you the delivery receipts signed by your warehouse people. How ridiculous is it that you completely ignore the receipts I sent and insist that you didn't receive the parcel? Either your warehouse is a mess or you're lying!
It's laughable that in one email you said you'd give me a full refund if I remove the review on sitejabber, and in another email you said you won't refund until you find the parcel!
The total return value is $173.62. It's not a huge loss, but I'm really curious to see how this ends.
I'll post all my receipt pictures on sitejabber and other social media.

Thanks for your email.
But we haven't received the returned parcel yet. We'll wait for it.
Have a nice day.

I'll remove the feedback once I receive the full refund. I returned five items. I sent you the returning item lists earlier.

We're really sorry for all the inconvenience.
So, did you return all six items or just five?
Even though we haven't received your returning package, we always prioritize our customers' benefit.
We'd like to offer you a full refund. Could you please remove the feedback on sitejabber?
We'd really appreciate it if you could remove the feedback for us.
Waiting for your reply:)
Have a nice day!

I sent you proof that the package was received by your warehouse. It's not my problem if you can't find it, so I have every right to demand my refund. I know you'll reply to my email within 24 hours, which is efficient, but you won't solve any issues. I hope you have a nice day sitting in front of a computer and writing the same nonsense to millions of angry customers. But understand that your business can't keep going by fooling around. You may laugh now because another victim fell into your trap, but I'm sure one day you'll get punished!

Hi
I***
Refund can only be issued after we receive the return package.
Hope you understand and have a nice day.
If you run into any issues, feel free to drop us an email and we'll get back to you ASAP.

Firstly, your warehouse receives a lot of returns, which implies that your products aren't satisfactory because the advertised pictures aren't true to the product. Secondly, it's absurd that it takes so long for you to look for the returned items. It's been almost a month since the parcel was received by your warehouse. I sent you the delivery receipt signed by the recipient at your warehouse. I shouldn't be responsible for the parcel lost in your warehouse among the piles of returned items! "You can't find it" isn't an excuse to avoid a refund! One alarming sign is that the recipient left a fake phone number on the receipt, and when I called that number, I was told it doesn't exist! All these signs tell me that you're running a fraudulent business. You seem to spend more time writing emails to your victims and responding to bad reviews than actually making any effort to find the returned items! You're good at responding to customers' emails within 24 hours, but all your words are lies. You just make various excuses to delay or avoid the refund process! I demand my money back. If you don't refund within one week, I'll report your fraudulent activities to the authorities.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Recently, our warehouse has received a lot of returns, and your return package didn't show up in our return list.
I've asked our warehouse staff to check all the return packages again to see if yours is there.
Could you please give us some more time?
We need to check if the items are in good condition as they were shipped out.
Your patience will be highly appreciated.

Misleading Product Description and Costly Return Policy: Beware of PopJulia's Cotton/Polyester Dress
I saw this top/dress on PopJulia and it looked really nice. The design was lovely and I was excited because it said it was made of cotton/polyester. I prefer clothes with some cotton in them, so I thought this would be perfect. The item arrived pretty fast, which was great. When I opened the package, I didn't even need to check the labels, there were two of them. I could tell just by touching and smelling the fabric that there was no cotton in it at all. It had this awful plastic smell. The label sewn into the seam said it was 95% polyester and 5% Spandex, while the other label tied onto it said it was cotton/polyester. I didn't bother reading the return details when I bought it because I was just so excited to find something I really liked. That was a huge mistake! Turns out, I have to send the item back to China, even though I received it from Stonebridge United Limited in Portsmouth. No wonder it arrived so quickly! So now, not only did I waste £29.38, including shipping, on something I will never wear, but it will also cost me between £16.95 and £62.85 just to return it! I want to warn other buyers to be careful!
Warning: Popjulia - Shady Business Practices and Scam Alert! Don't Fall for Their Bogus Items and Denial Tactics
So, I reckon it ain't just about the dough no more. Now it's all 'bout puttin' an end to them shady business practices. Just a heads up for y'all lookin' to place an order with 'em - YOU GONNA LOSE YOUR CASH. They gonna send ya some bogus item, and you ain't gonna be able to send it back to China 'cause the shippin' costs a fortune and don't make no sense. And if ya do decide to ship it back, they gonna deny ever receivin' it. No matter how ya slice it, you gonna be outta luck.
After strugglin' with 'em for a good ol' 5 months, I done filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and reported their scammin' ways to econsumer.gov as an international scam. I'm gonna keep y'all posted on the progress of the investigation and update my review every now and then.
WE GOTTA JOIN FORCES TO PUT AN END TO THESE CROOKS! DON'T GIVE UP! Shoot me a message if ya need a witness to their fraudulent activities for your case.
Oh, and a little note to the Popjulia representative: Don't waste your time or mine with them generic responses. I ain't interested in 'em.
PopJulia: The Worst Online Store Experience Ever! Stay Away from This Nightmare
This online store, PopJulia, is absolutely the worst. I had the worst shopping experience ever, and I strongly advise against buying anything from them. Let me tell you about my ordeal: I placed an order for 8 items and paid a whopping $40 for express shipping. Can you believe it? But guess what? They sent everything separately, on different dates, one by one. I mean, why would they do that? It took them a whole week just to prepare my stuff to go out. And to top it off, two items were completely unavailable, even though they never bothered to inform me when I was placing my order. Can you imagine the frustration?
So, I decided to reach out to them via email. I sent them a bunch of emails, expressing my disappointment and requesting a refund for those two unavailable items. I mean, I didn't have the time to wait for an extra couple of weeks! But guess what they did? They charged me a ridiculous 15% cancellation fee for items that were out of stock! Can you believe the audacity? It wasn't my fault that they didn't have those items in stock, and they never bothered to inform me about it. But hey, let's move on to the items that I actually received. Brace yourself, because it's not pretty.
The items I received were absolute trash! Nothing even remotely resembled how they presented it on their website. The quality was poor, and the styles were completely different from what was shown in the pictures. I mean, how can a store get away with this? It's beyond me. I genuinely hope that people will wise up and stop buying from this cheap store. They deserve to go out of business.
If I had the option, I would rate my overall experience with PopJulia as -100. That's how terrible it was. I wouldn't wish this shopping nightmare on my worst enemy. Stay away from this store, folks. You've been warned.

Warning: PopJulia Review - Scam Alert! Don't Fall for Their Deceptive Practices
Before you go ahead and spend your hard-earned money, take a moment to check out the reviews for PopJulia. Trust me, it's worth it. And if you do decide to make a purchase, make sure to use Paypay so that someone else can be in the know about this scam. Paypal will reach out to the company and try to help you get a refund. Trust me, if your finances are tight, you're basically gambling with your money and you're bound to lose.
So, here's my story. I ordered two pairs of shoes on November 30, 2017. I tried to get in touch with the company from December 30, 2017, to January 6, 2018, but no luck. Finally, on January 10, 2018, I contacted Paypal for assistance in getting a refund. It wasn't until January 21, 2018, that I received one of the two items I had ordered. Can you believe it? It took them a whopping 7 weeks (or 35 business days) to deliver just one item! And to top it off, the shoes were smaller than the size I had ordered and the quality was just plain awful.
But wait, there's more! On February 8, 2018, I requested a refund through Paypal for the shoes that I never received. According to PopJulia, all the items had been shipped and they even asked Paypal to stop the refund request. Can you believe the audacity? They clearly don't care about their customers and seem to be on the lookout for unsuspecting individuals to scam. It's a shame, really.
So, my advice to you is simple: don't become another victim of this company's scam practices. Spread the word and let others know about the shady dealings of PopJulia. Trust me, you'll be doing everyone a favor.
Frustrating Experience with PopJulia: Delays, Wrong Size, Poor Quality, and Lack of Communication
I recently ordered a pair of boots from PopJulia, and let me tell you, the whole experience has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. First off, when I got the confirmation email, there was no mention of when my boots would actually arrive. I mean, come on, isn't that something they should include? Anyway, this was on the 19th of October.
So, fast forward to the 26th of October, and I still hadn't received my boots. I decided to shoot them an email to see if they could give me any information about the delivery. Three whole days later, they finally got back to me, saying that it would take anywhere between 7 to 12 days for my parcel to arrive. Okay, fine, I can wait a little longer.
But guess what? Just two days after that, I received another email from them, saying that my parcel would now take 10 to 20 days to arrive. Seriously, can they make up their minds? It's like they're playing a game with my patience.
Finally, on the 6th of October (yes, it took that long), my parcel arrived. But guess what? The boots were the wrong size! And to top it all off, the quality was just not up to par. So, naturally, I decided to return them.
Now, here's where things get even more frustrating. I checked their website for information on how to return the boots, and guess what? There was absolutely no information available. I mean, seriously, how hard is it to provide some basic instructions?
So, I sent them an email on the same day, asking for guidance on how to return my parcel. And you know what? They took two whole days to reply, telling me that I needed to send a request and that I would receive an authorization by email. Great, more waiting.
After I sent the email requesting the return, I received another email from them, saying that they would get back to me within 72 hours. Are you kidding me? Do they not understand that I'm already fed up with waiting?
According to their policy, I have 15 days from the delivery date to return the boots. But honestly, if it takes them three days just to respond to one email, and they don't even provide clear instructions on where and how to return the items, I'm afraid I'll miss the deadline and lose my chance to get my money back.
Oh, and here's the cherry on top: I have to pay for the shipping fees myself. Seriously? After all the trouble I've been through, they expect me to foot the bill for their mistakes?
Overall, my experience with PopJulia has been nothing short of a headache. The lack of communication, the delays, the wrong size, the poor quality, and the lack of clear return instructions have left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I definitely won't be shopping with them again, and I would advise others to think twice before making a purchase from their website.
Unreliable Company with Poor Quality Control and Customer Service
I bought a dress from the website popjulia.com on December 24, 2017. I paid extra for expedited shipping, expecting it to arrive within 7-10 days. However, I didn't receive it until January 18, 2018.
When I finally got the dress, I was shocked to see that the size didn't match what was listed on the website. For instance, the length of the received item was 34 inches instead of the 38.2 inches stated on the web. The bust measurement was 33 inches instead of 35.4 inches, and the waist was less than 29 inches instead of the advertised 32.3 inches.
I decided to email them and request a return or refund due to their poor quality control. However, they responded by asking me to pay for the return shipping. It's absolutely ridiculous that they expect the customer to bear the cost for their own mistakes and lack of quality control.
The return shipping fee would almost equal the amount I paid for the dress. Moreover, the numerous back-and-forth emails I had with them after receiving the item left me disappointed. I even took pictures of all the measurements to prove my point. In the end, I chose not to waste my time dealing with the uncertainty they might create during the return process.
Doing business with this company is highly unreliable, and their careless approach to customer service is completely unacceptable.
Terrible Experience: Delayed Delivery, Incorrect Sizes, No Customer Support, and Refusal to Refund
I bought like $150 worth of stuff from this company, right? And let me tell you, it took like a whole six weeks for my stuff to show up. I mean, come on, that's a long time to wait, you know? And when my stuff finally arrived, guess what? The sizes were all messed up, man. I ordered a 2XL, which is like a big size in America, but when I got the stuff, it was like tiny, like small and extra small by American standards. Can you believe that?
So, I think these guys shipped my stuff all the way from China, you know? And when I tried to get in touch with them, there's no phone number to call, just an email. I sent them an email, telling them I wanted my money back because the sizes were all wrong, and guess what they said? They straight up refused, man. They told me to give the clothes to someone skinny, like a real jab at my weight, you know? And that was it, end of the story. They didn't want to work with me at all.
And get this, they even said that if I wanted to return the stuff, it would cost me more than what I paid, because of customs and all that. Can you believe the nerve of these guys? They're a bunch of liars, man. And you know what else? They don't even have any info about their company on their website. That's shady, right? Don't even bother using this website, man. The clothes you get won't be anything like what they show on the site, and good luck trying to get a refund. Seriously, watch out, guys!
Disappointing Dresses: Poor Quality, False Advertising, and Shrinkage - A Warning Review
I bought two dresses from PopJulia and boy, was I disappointed! I guess it's true what they say, you get what you pay for. I should have just started with one dress instead of going all out. Let me tell you, the fabric of one of the dresses was nothing like what I expected. The description made it sound so fancy, but in reality, it felt like a cheap poplin fabric. Ugh, it was hideous! And to top it off, the length was more like a long blouse than a dress, even though the measurements in the description said otherwise. Talk about false advertising!
But wait, there's more! The other dress I ordered was the right length and the fabric was somewhat decent, but it was a tad bit tight around the shoulders and bustline. I thought I could make it work, you know? So I decided to give it a gentle wash, using cold water and the delicate cycle. I even let it line dry, just to be extra careful. But guess what? It shrunk! Can you believe it? Now I wouldn't dare wear that dress outside of my house. What a waste!
When I tried to return the first dress through their website, I was shocked to find out that the cost of shipping would have been more than what I paid for the dress itself. Can you imagine? So, I ended up giving it away to Goodwill. And now, the second dress is also destined for the same fate. What a shame.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend buying from this company unless you happen to be a Size 0 or Size 2. And even then, be cautious because the quality of their fabrics, based on my experience, is a total "bait and switch." Don't fall for it, folks. Save your money and shop elsewhere.
