canceled order
I responded to a radio commercial on KIRO 97.3 FM 6/7/18. I called about a free Vitamin B12 bottle. The commercial said you have to call their customer service to cancel future orders. I called within 5 minutes of placing original order for free product. Purity Products has debited my account $124.80. I cancelled all future shipments immediately, within 5 minutes, per their instructions. To get a refund of my money for a product I never ordered they're informing me that I have to get a return shipping authorization number which they won't provide and that I have to pay all return shipping costs. This sounds like a SCAM. I've informed my attorney, who I have on retainer, to initiate a lawsuit against Purity Products. I've also contacted the Better Business Bureau and the Washington state Attotney General's fraud division. My next move is to inform KIRO radio that one of their customers (Purity Products) is acting in a fraudulent manner. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM PURITY PRODUCTS! They will rip you off.

Evoxin CG
My mother Ola Joseph purchased Evoxin CG from TV in August of 2016. She ordered 2 bottles of this supplement. The first bottle she took with no problem. She reported that she took the second bottle and she started taking it on Monday, March 6, 2017 and took another one of March 7, 2016 and by Wednesday her mouth started swelling up, pink, red and blistering. She stopped taking them and ended having to go to the ER on Sunday, March 12, 2017 because she was complaining about not being able to eat, painful lips and liquid coming from the blisters around her mouth. As, I looked on the pill bottle I see that the date on the bottle said 10/15. My issue is if she ordered this pills on August of 2016 why would they send her some pills that have 10/15. There is no way that you would go into Walmart and get some pills off the shelf in 2016 that has the date of 2015. I called and spoke with a lady and she reported that they would not be able to give her a refund because she has had the pills since August of 2016 but that does not explain why she has pills date 10/2015.
Dear Ms. Spikes, we were very sorry to hear of your Mother's experience with Purity Products. We have left a detailed message at the phone number listed on Ms. Joseph's account. The date on the bottle is not an expiration date (EXP) but (MFG 10/15) date of manufacture, the actual date the product is manufactured. This means the products are tested for quality specifications and purity before release for sale and are therefore completely safe. We apologize that the representative did not explain the difference between the two categories.
As a courtesy, we have processed a refund. If you have any additional questions please call our direct customer care number [protected]. We look forward to the opportunity to speak with you. Regards Purity Products.

Hi Ms. Andrea-Neill, We tried to contact you regarding his issue, unfortunately we were not able to speak with you. When you have a chance, please feel free to call us at [protected]. We look forward to resolving this for you as quickly as possible.
Dear Ms. Andrea-Neill, we were happy for the opportunity to speak with you and confirm the activity on your credit card was a refund credit, not a billing for additional orders. Regards, Purity Products.
Thank you!
Fraud alert-sent product not ordered & charged credit card without authorization
PP is sending products not order and charging credit cards without authorization. “customer service” line held for over one hour all the while the systems telling me hold time is 5 minutes, then hold time is 8 minutes then hold time is 6 minutes then hold time is 5 minutes over and over for an hour. This is misrepresentation and wire fraud for charging my credit card without my authorization. Buyers beware!
Hi tjwood615, We are very sorry you had this experience I'm glad we were able to correct this issue. If you need anything else, please let us know.
Auto Ship & cancellation
I have a Florida residence and summer in New England. Their auto ship did not arrive until the middle of June and I was already in New England. I called and they sent a shipping lapel to return the product with no problem, however the product was in Florida and I was in Massachusetts. I got back to Florida just recently and called them to resend a shipping label for the un wanted product. It cannot be returned since I am past their 60 day money back period. I will NEVER, I repeat NEVER recommend or buy anything from the overpriced auto shippers. BEWARE all of their operators sound very understanding but will NOT resolve any problems.
Cannot cancel recurring shipments
I have an account with these folks, but was shocked to discover that I CANNOT cancel the supersaver automatic orders on-line AT ALL. Even when calling into their frustrating automated customer service line, all the options are to change delivery dates, or quantities, etc... No way to cancel, except remaining on hold for a person. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, they guy kept selling the product. Asking me how I used it, when I last used it. Kept telling me how much it would help my health. Basically, kept arguing with me, about my decision to cancel. Unbelievable! I had to additionally wait on hold after all this 'discussing, ' to get a confirmation number. Then he came back telling me his 'supervisor' wanted to extend a free offer for another product. I got another 3 different sales pitches before I was finally granted a cancellation number. Absolutely ridiculous! Avoid at any price.
Refuse to cancel recurring order
I could no longer afford my Purity Products "Super Saver" monthly auto ship order. It is impossible to cancel your order on the website, so I moved the shipment date up by three months. With the shipment date still a full month away, they shipped two bottles of pills anyway and drained ninety dollars out
of my bank account.
After a half hour wait upon calling, I asked the lady on the phone why they shipped so early to which she was clueless. I asked if I could return the order for a refund and then have the recurring order canceled. She offered instead an eighteen dollar discount on the pills which I accepted. I never received the discount.
When I asked to cancel the order, I was nagged endlessly with more discounts and trial offers. Although it seemed in the end that she agreed to cancel, my request has since been ignored; the order still reads "active" on the website. I have blacklisted Purity Products from my bank account, and plan on changing my debit card number.

Stupid People Wanting Everything Free
I continuously see more people complaining about Purity Products "charging them money, ripping them off, signing them up for things they didn't want" and it's simple... When you call to order a Free Bottle & you pay part of the shipping, They OFFER you to sign up on the Super Saver program, which is 25%-30% off the retail price of the products. It's not REQUIRED! If you LISTEN to the representative when you call, they are giving you an option. You either say "okay" meaning you agree to the Super Saver which is the automatic shipments or you simply say "No Thank You, I do not want to be signed up for anything other than the free trial offer" in which case you are not set up on the Super Saver or Auto Ship, whichever you prefer to call it.
If you sign-up online for the free bottle offer, there is a box that you check and it reads...By clicking this box you agree to become a Super Saver customer and will receive 3 bottles every 3 months @ "price per bottle"...
I have been a customer of Purity Products for over 10 years and have NEVER had a single problem with them or their products. It's nice to know I can get pharmaceutical grade nutraceuticals that are Made in The USA and are held to the highest of quality standards, above and beyond what is required.
Now, people, please get your brains in your heads and save the world from your stupidity...
I called in during radio broadcast. There was no box to check. The operator or customer service rep asked me if I wanted to enroll in super saver and I said no I just wanted to try it and still got billed $144. I had to cancel my debit card and get a new number.
Slick Rip Off
Out of nowhere I receive a box from Purity Products. I couldn't remember ordering it since it had been quite some time since I last interacted with their web site. It took a while but I realized they had scammed me. They kept my credit card info on file, and like a dumb ### I signed up for their automatic fancy dan reorder program that supposedly gave me a good deal. The good deal is where they send me 3 bottles of pills that I don't need and charge my credit card $132.00. Every 3 months.
I can't believe I was so dumb to get screwed by this ripoff. I will definitely pay more attention next time.
continues to pull money from my bank account
Ordered vitamins ONCE not realizing they had signed me up for a revolving charge! They have NOT cancelled the SuperSaver as promised and continue to bill me - I have been on hold with their customer service for over 30min - but now the "on-hold" advertising is gone and they just hung up on me - they are lucky they are not local I would go get my money and not play their game -
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Had the same problem you guys sooth of the border had, but my bank was more understanding, cancelled my credit card and are sending me a new one. It sounds like your banks are in cahoots with the bad guys, or are not well regulated by the government
Lori Michel
I have seen a lot of complaints regarding Purity Products sales practices. I personally don't have an issue with them regarding this issue. What I do know as a former employee of this company is that the QC Director Lori Michel laughs her fat ### off as she responds to these complaints. You should hear the things that come out of her fat face. Don't believe the fake compassionate responses you are getting from her, it's all BS! As a side note, she has bad BO!
Sheldon...if there was one word I would use to describe Lori it would be fat. I don't know if you have read the responses to all the on-line complaints but it's a cut and paste response. Maybe in your eyes she is a great manager or maybe your just a chubby chaser. Either way, you are entitled to your opinion as I am mine.
Lori Michel, the QC Director at Purity Products, is a joke. I have seen a lot of complaints on this site about sales practices at Purity Products and have read the same BS response from Lori Michel. This "woman" is a pathetic liar. She knows what is going on and has no serious compassion for customers who have been f****d over by the company. Funny story, one time during a meeting the screen could not go down to show slides. Ms. Michel happened to be wearing white pants that day so we used her fat ### as a movie screen!

Whoever wrote this review is a lying, unprofessional person who probably was fired for incompetence and unprofessionalism. I worked with Lori for years and can tell you for an absolute fact that she is the best manager I ever worked with. If I had to use one single word to describe Lori it would be Excellence. That’s the only way she knows how to do things. She knows everything there is to know about the products, ingredients, vendors, and there is no Quality Assurance Director more Customer Care minded than Lori. She has spent years as a customer advocate. Take a look at any of the years- worth of customer complaints that she has responded to on-line on behalf of the company. She wasn’t a customer service manager, she was in charge of Quality Control at the time but she was asked to do that by upper management because they knew she would make sure that all complaints were thoroughly investigated, addressed and resolved with all haste and that all customers were contacted to insure resolution and satisfaction. A company that has 2mil customers of course you’ll have disgruntled customers, but she did her best to insure each one was happy. She took a lot of backlash from angry customers as a result but it didn’t stop her from doing the job she was asked to do and putting her name on every response. That’s how she does everything –with single-minded determination. There is no question that whoever wrote the obnoxious review doesn’t know Lori at all, and would probably not know a good manager from a bad one. And to say you worked at Purity Products is questionable because they simply don’t hire people like you – that would go against every principal of the company. They don’t hire people that express their immaturity on-line with ridiculous accusations having absolutely no regard for the company, other employees, and of course the corporate reputation. They simply don’t hire people that are immature, unprofessional and self-centered only thinking about themselves. Purity is a team – everyone on the same team and they hire team players. So I question anyone who would write a nasty review about an employee or manger of this company, I question their integrity, and I seriously question there statement that they worked at Purity. It sounds more like someone who didn’t get their way and is having an on-line temper tantrum. But if you ever did work for Purity, I certainly understand why you are a former employee. No refund as promised
I was shipped unwanted items after I cancelled my account. I call the company and after many attempts I got an email authorization number to return the unopened items for a refund. I sent at my expense the unopened items and was called and told they could only refund a portion of the 1st. unauthorized order of $ 190.00 dollars and none of the 2nd. unauthorized order also for $ 190.00. This company is a scam and have set themselves up where they are the customer as far as the credit card companies are concerned. It is legal stealing and our legal system allows this. I would say run if you ever are contacted or offered one of their products unless you like being scammed out of your money.

Lori Michel is the QC Director of Purity Products. Now you would think the company would have someone in this position selling there products to be somewhat healthy. Guess what, she weighs about 350 lbs and has the greasiest hair I have ever seen.
Billing me again after canceling 6 months ago
I tried purity product free trial offer and was charged shipping cost, 3 days after receiving my trial offer They hit my bank account for a full order at 78.63 I called cancelled The order and sent it back wiTh The ups The day it arrived That was back in sept of 2012. Today The 15Th of February 2013 I check my bank acct and There is a charge of 78.63, which unfortunately is now overdrawn, I call There customer service and They tell me I agreed to restart The service in Febuary .No I didn't I cancelled in The first place because They charged my bank account and sent an order before my trial time period was over. I told Them you have overdrawn my account and too avoid The overdraft fee I'm going to have to file a claim with the bank, That This was charged wiThout auThorization. They told me if I did That, That when purity product told The bank it was a legitimate charge it would cause confusion. Whatever That means? I Think There tactics borderline s on fraud.
If you cancelled your order you would have been given a cancellation number. Were you?
Dear Frank, Thank-you for your helpful comments. I was thinking about purchasing some Purity Products but definitely have had second thoughts thanks to your helpful (and hilarious) review. My husband and I were LOL but we definitely get your point. Thanks again for an insightful comment.

False Advertising
Free bottle of product...just pay shipping. I phoned...was ADDEMENT about not signing up for a continous shipment and that I was ONLY authorizing the charge for the "Free Bottle" of product. A few weeks later I received a pill card with 15 capsules. Phoned the company who advised the deal was for a 15 day trial. ALL the paperwork with the package thanked me for "ordering the free bottle", "enclosed is the free bottle you ordered"... Their excuse? "our paperwork is pre-printed". Funny...my name was printed on it also. I logged a complaint with the Better Bussiness Bureau for what it's worth...NOTHING! Am going to dispute the charge with my credit card company next. From what I have read on this company they definately are not a company one wants to do business with.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
So much for 2 week free trial. I wouldn't have minded the auto shipment and charge on my credit card if I loved their nutraceutical products. BUT, I didn't. And upon calling within the 2 week time frame to cancel the products I find they have already shipped a 3 month supply...at the cost of over $180.00...for something I was "supposed to have" a 2 week trial. Well, since the reflux these products gave me was getting worse and not better over the past 11 days I decided to call and cancel so my credit card would not have been charged and the product automatically shipped. "I'm sorry, but we have already shipped it out to you" was the response I received. It's pending on my bank account and UPS tracking number isn't even activated. But, there was "no way" they could STOP this from happening. ?!?!? Whatever! NOW, I get to WAIT for their crappy product to wait to get here THEN wait again for it to get BACK to them BEFORE they get around and refund my money! NICE! Don't EVER "try" ANY of their products...unless you want to get screwed over!
Your right on the money with your comment. Do Not Use their Auto Shipping.
If you buy from Purity Products Do Not Use Their Auto-Shipping or fall for the free offer. Buy your products without using Auto-Shipping . I know it maybe a little cheaper but its not worth the trouble. Purity Products does tell you if you get the free product or use Auto-Shipping you will get charged. You have to cancel way before the date to reship or they will bill you. Unfortunately, when you cancel they will harangue you to keep up the Auto-Shipping. Sometimes to point that they will offer the product half off. Just say no!
If you buy from Purity Products Do Not Use The Auto-Shipping! I know it may be a little cheaper but its not worth it in the end. All you will have is trouble. Just buy the product you want without going for the free trial. They tell you that they will charge you and continue to send the product if you go for the free product or Auto-Ship.
I almost fell for one of their commercials, but your service showed me that it is not wise to try to do business with Purity Products, thank you
almost refuse to cancel super saver
Purity Products makes it extremely difficult to cancel Super Saver, or special, offers!
Purity Products makes a very effective advertisement, and then offers a sample of a product as a, "Super Saver." The consumer pays only shipping and handling, which are very reasonable charges. The net result is that I didn't get a free product with a small shipping charge; I EARNED my product with the time I had to spend cancelling the special offer!
When the consumer requests his Super Saver, he doesn't know that refills of the product will be shipped automatically; he must cancel the standing order that is created by his ordering the Super Saver. He also doesn't know how much will be charged for the product when a refill is automatically shipped. The consumer learns this when he receives the Super Saver.
The consumer decides to cancel his order. Now the big problem happens. The customer service number isn't included in the package, or if it is, it is difficult to find. When the consumer dials the one number prominently featured, he is referred to another number. When the consumer dials that number, he finds they are not open 24/7 for THIS kind of service, only for placing orders. When he goes online to create an account to try to cancel the order, he learns the software of this deceptive company does not allow cancellations on line. When he writes an e-mail to cancel, he gets a reply e-mail that says he can only cancel when he places a phone call. So he has to remember to call at the right time in a different time zone.
When he finally gets the right department, he isn't allowed to simply cancel. He must endure repeated attempts to get him to stay as a customer. The most basic, emphatic English words declining any other special offers don't get through to the clerk. When the clerk finally decides to get the message, he must put the consumer on hold to get a cancellation number from his supervisor. Then he comes back on the line and once or twice again tries to sell the consumer a special offer.
Not worth it. Don't be fooled by Purity's claims of good customer service; it's just ain't so.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Purity Products is not a scam, you can call for your free bottle and REFUSE to be set up on the super saver program. This will JUST ship for free bottle. And of course they make you pay shipping, when do you ever get something completely free?! Idiot! And customer care has a job TO DO, which requires them, if you say cancel, to offer you a discount and/or delay of shipment to stay. Then they HAVE to place you on a hold, even though the cancelation number is just your customer number, which is right in front of their face. But then they must come back and offer you another discount. In all it's about 7 min conversation. Have you ever called a company wanting to cancel and they cancel you out right away, no! Your cabel company will even offer you discounts! It's business not personal. And the customer care employees have to offer you both or their not doing their job. So just kindly say no to the offers, instead of being a rude ###!
Ripped Off
I can not begin to say how dassatisfied I am with this company. To briefly share my experience, I heard about a product on the radio called "Blueberry Detox" and thought it would be a good idea to give it a try. My dad being a diabetic I thought that this would be good for him. I also tried to order a formula called "SkinnyD" but then changed my mind. A week later I started receiving phone calls from Purity Product reps who ask if I was still interested in the SkinnyD formula. After expressing my disinterest in the product, I thought that was the final call but I was called at least two more times. On the last call, I expressed my annoyance with the calls and let the rep know I would no longer be doing any business with Purity Products.
Still on June 15th, It seems Purity Products was audacious enough to charge my card for a product that was supposed cancelled, without letting me know they were. No emails with shipping instructions, no calls or anything. In fact, when I called to find out why I was charged for products I do not have. I was told by a rep named Lionell, that not only was I being charged for a shipment they had already shipped prior to charging me, but that Purity Products had repeatedly tried to run my debit card for funds.
Lionell then tried to instruct me on how to return the product, while talking over me. He said " I don't need you to go into detail, just tell the UPS driver your are refusing the package." Well at this point, I was frustrated and asked for a supervisor and Mr. Lionell added insult to injury by claiming that this was my fault and that the SuperSaver discount was given with auto-ship. He also still avoided getting me a supervisor and then he offered me half the money (that was pretty much taken from me) as if he was doing me a huge favor.
As a result, I ended up getting really upset after which he put his Supervisor Ashley on the phone who basically says the same thing and adds that I needed to be careful because I could make the situation much worse. So on top of being mislead, robbed, and insulted... I get threatened. This experience speaks volumes to how much care this company puts into getting money out of a customer. However the end result is that you not only lost a potential customer but you also prompted me to warn others of my experience, report you to buyer beware sites and contact the BBB.
I too just cancelled the Blueberry detox and took me about 15 min on the phone to do so. I was transferred twice, asked why I did not like it and then was offered other products at half price, free, speical this month, etc. The company is way too agressive for me and will not do any more business with them. I hope I too do not see any auto ships on my credit card also.
Had the same problem--product upset my stomach but when I called to cancel the only option was to have 2 bottles shipped rather than the 3. After several calls finally was able to cancel but had to hang up on the person at the other end as she consistently kept trying to sell me various other products. There should be a way to report them and stop this scam.
Legal Credit card theft
I tried to stop delivery of products from the company for 3 months after the alleged free trial, they refused,
I contacted my credit card company and they wouldn't stop the revolving charges as they said that Purity products were "there customer", and not me, so the stop had to come from Purity. (why would the company say no to free money when the decision was theirs and not mine, the consumer.
It was a dead end street for me, the consumer.
The only way to stop them from continued unwanted charges of my account was to report my credit card stolen/
lost and prevent further charges from Purity Products!
They are NOT as concerned about there customers as they are with the customers money which was my experience!
Was there office located in AZ before ?

Purity Products is one of the worst examples of a business I have ever experienced. I would put them just below health club memberships, YES PURITY IS worse. I have cancelled my 'free' sample account several times only to have my bank account debited 2 to 3 months later. They always seem so happy to negotiate the return of their package and some BS discount, when they have the ability to recall the order and refund to your account in 3 days or less! All I want is to NEVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN. ###! Isn't there an attorney general to talk to or some way we can ban them from advertising? Nobody should have to deal with these people. This is money needed for food and gas not to give some ripoff vitamin company.
No refund after 3 weeks
Was promised a refund 3 weeks ago, I called this morning and they claim an error from the CS. If I had not looked at my bank statement to check on it they would never realize their error. I initally tried to cancel the complete order but they promised to refund me for half the price of the order, they were so persistent that I agreed. I have been taking the vitamins for almost two years and have yet to notice a difference in my energy level. They are almost three times more expensive than other vitamin stores. Dissatisfied Customer.

I cancelled my order immediately after seeing the amount debited from my bank account last month only to be told it was too late because my order had already shipped! I then informed them I am cancelling my account and all further orders, only to see my bank account once again debited for another shipment this morning! I will be contacting them once again, and not only sending the last bottle back, but letting them know I will be contacting not only the BBB, and if they continue to send shipments, my attorney!
Purity, u are sooooo full of crap!I am going through your hell right now and I'm coming to get u. U have no idea how quickly Americans will rip your garbage company to shreds when they discover what you are doing. Run Purity, Run.
Dear Robthorn, we are sorry to hear you have had an unsatisfactory experience with Purity Products.
In general, you do not have to enroll in the auto ship program in order to receive your free bottle. All our free bottle trial offers come with an invitation to enroll in the Super Saver Program. The If you do decide to join the super saver program, the order details are given along with the cancelation policy at that time. it is also given in writing when you receive your free bottle, including the customer care number and hours of operation. The free bottle orders take 24 to 48 hours to process and your account would not be available for modifications until that time.
We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to review the particulars of your order but would need more information to locate your account. Please contact us directly at [protected] or email ppresponse@purityproducts.com with your last name/billing zip code or customer number. we look forward to assisting you. Regards Purity Products.
