Qatar Airways lost baggage

My family was travelling from Moscow to Windhoek on the April 5th 2016.

Moscow-Doha, Doha-Johannesburg were operated by QA.
Johannesburg-Windhoek - by South African Airlines.

On the arrival to Windhoek all 3 checked-in bags were missing so my parents submitted a claim to SAA. The next day one of the missing bags were delivered. The others remain lost.

After contacting QA, SAA, JBN Airport numerous times, i finally got the information that the bags never arrived to Johannesburg and 100% left Moscow. SAA assured me that they never received the bags from BidAir. They even checked the cameras! So it became obvious that the baggage is left behind in Doha.

Speaking to QA customer service (i used european one) doesn't work as they keep saying that they don't get any reply from Qatar after sending them a couple of requests regarding the missed bags. So in 2 weeks i asked for the phone numbers in Doha and decided to find out myself. I was given 2 numbers: +[protected], +[protected].
Non of them work, nobody picks up the phone.

The other phone number - +[protected] - that i found on the QA website also never answers.

But that's just a half of the story. On the way back to Moscow on the 19th of April 2016 the 3rd (!) bag got missing! And it is clear that it is stuck in Doha again because my parents made sure that their baggage was loaded onto the airplane in JBG.

So on the arrival to Moscow my parents had to file another claim. The QA lady in Moscow said she doesn't see the missed bag in the system.

Today we are trying to reach Moscow QA reps but again - nobody picks up the phone.

Qatar Airways unauthorized money taken by mr. rehan booking clerk lhe

i had booked a round trip ticket through qatar air ways web site in june, 2015 from xna to lhe. i paid $1304.39 through my credit card which includes tax, airport charges etc. on returning oct21, 2015 mr.rehan booking clerk at allama iqbal airport lahore demanded Rs950/-. i told him that ticket was purchased by me in usa and taxes etc have also been fully paid.mr rehan insisted to pay rs950/- otherwise he is not going to issue boarding pass for flight# QR 5325. the lady officer from Qatar airways was sitting close to mr. rehan and she did not helped me.there was no option but to pay mr.rehan rs950/.he put a stamp on the back of my eticket signing that he has received rs950/-i can't complain directly to airport officials as they all are involved in such activities so i request u to take up the matter at higher level.what is the price of giving shocks to me when i have no fault. that guy must refund the money with fine.they are causing bad name for your company so please take severe action against culprit.such elements should learn a lesson how to behave innocent travellers. my ticket code is 7p1q21 travellers.

Qatar Airways bookings online and customer service

I was tring to pay online at qatarairways, i got message" we are unable to process your request at this time. " when i called Qatar airways Customer, they say they are solving try after 1 hr, same procedure after 1hr same error, after trying for 4 times like that, next day the same, they say my card is not accepting, then I went to other Air line, it was just one Click with no problems with the same card. with Qatar airways i faced this problem from three years . the y say we look at it but No change since three years.Customer Service people Wont help at all.

Qatar Airways 12+ hours without hotel

you guys make my back problem worst by leting me sit for 12+ hours without giving a hotel to lay down although i told the
one whose responsible that the doctor denied me from siting long time and I wasn't asking for a favor i was asking for one of my legal rights i will give you guys one week if i didn't find the right answer i will take it to the court

about the attached proof i have the MRI but i will let it for the court

Qatar Airways Job offer letter

Hi everyone, please beware of this scam from Judith Williams HR Qatar Airways . Received a job offer for Qatar Airways after replying to a job add a few weeks ago. Asking to contact Ben Chapman at Clifford Chance Solicitors to obtain an active UK Security Clearance before the 9th March . I tried to contact Judith Williams and when i called Clifford Chance to speak to Ben Chapman they had never heard of him. I suspect that this is an identity theft scam as i was asked to sign the job offer and email it back to them. Thank god i have not paid any more over to them but just wanted to make everyone aware of this ..

Qatar Airways lost device

in my way back fr new york to cairo egypt one of my laugage was lost i recieved it after three days i found out that the laugage was inspected by transportation security adminstration and missing my apple6 plus iphone+ck wool coat. this laugage was additionalone i paid 250 dollars for it i was told to rcieve the reciet by plane gate but nothing was giving to me these 2 items cost me mor than 1600 dollars . pls invistgate this matter, because the only choice left to me is the legal action either in new york or in egypt. thanks to your attention to this matter.

Qatar Airways stolen money from overhead locker

I was returning to England from Dubai via Doha to attend to my seriously ill wife. I had taken all my money from my Dubai Islamic bank and changed it into pounds sterling (4, 680) I put the money into an envelope with 4 elastic bands wrapped around the envelope. Someone took out the money during the flight and replaced the money with a torn up in flight magazine to make it appear that the money was still inside vthe envelope. I have contacted Dubai police Greater Manchester police and Qatar airlines. Qatar airlines are not even responding to my emails and they call themselves a 5 star airline

Providing wrong information that caused 3 days of traveling and outrageous expenses. Qatar Airways needs to contact us and attempt to make us whole or I will continue to post to this website and file a suit for a lot more than we lost.

It is always a mistake to pack cash in your luggage when flying . There is not a whole lot you can do about the theft. If the police could get fingerprints from the envelope or contents, possibly, but if you handled them, or the thief wore gloves, the chances are poor. The airline can do nothing except turn over security tapes (if any) to the police. The airline has no proof the money was ever in the baggage.

Qatar Airways bumped from flight

White recently flying on Qatar Airways the routing called for a change of planes in Doha. With boarding pass in hand I patiently want to board the plane for the final leg of my journey. Upon presenting the boarding pass they asked me to step aside and then requested picked up the phone and requested my luggage be remove from the plan. The plane was over booked and I was randomly selected to be Denied Boarding. This is on a the second leg of a a two leg journey. The next plane was over 8 hours wait. There compensation was $250 take it of leave it. Oh yeah and access to the lounge that wold not be open for another 4 hours. The delay caused me to miss a subsequent non-Qatar Airways flight which was a non changeable and non-refundable ticket. This bump cost me over $2500 in flights and hotel cancellations. After complaining to the"Customer Service" they offered my 5000 miles in a Qatar Airways account.Qatar airways does not follow either the UE or USA Passenger Bill of Rights and therefore has no incentive to request volunteers. Buyer beware Qatar Airways is a Bad Airways has not care about the passenger Like all Middle East airline the passenger has no rights.

Qatar Airways not got my baggage

0060 flight for 1 hr on 12 th july to doha from munich [it reached doha at 7
Pm]i missed my connecting flight qr 0546 to ccu.

So i faced problem in doha at front office. Ur ground staff
Were not at all helpful on that day[12 th july, 7. 15 pm]

1. I dont remember the name of her, but after repeated
Request she didnot take care about my checked in luggage and they not even talk to me properly as she was busy
Over phone.

2. So from ur side my flight rescheduled via mumbai[12 th
July, also late 1 hr] by qr556 and ccu via jet airways 9w615[13 th july 7. 20 am]

3. In flight i asked to check my luggage to the cabin
Crew, she informed me it was ok. . But fact is she just lied to me. . .

4. After i reached mumbai i was in the luggage belt for 65 min and informed the ground staff
That i could not find one of my luggages[samsonite, 23 kg wt, navy blue
Color, containing important documents, certificates, money, garments] and they
Said my luggage didnot reach mumbai from doha. . . Is this the way a 5 star
Airline should behave?

4. In the qr 556 flight one passenger got epileptic attack
& being a doctor, i took primary care of him along with other crew members.

Now due to ur
Inconvenience. . .

A]i had to wait 8 hrs more to reach my destination

B]i was unable to attain an international medical conference
In kolkata

C]i am still unable to track my luggage. . . And don't know
The status. . . A call came to me at 10. 23 am on 13 th july from ur mumbai
Office but they told me they were still in the process of tracking the luggage.

D] so much of harrassment, from ur side.

Please take some
Necessary action, enough loss of mine due to ur uncooperative staff. . I am upset
About my luggage, and kindly let me know who / how would i be compensated for all

Qatar Airways qatar airways cabin crew commiting adultery

How can I complain one of your flight attendant is commiting adultery with my husband? I already filed a complaint but nothing has done from your side her name is Danilor Catada from Dumaguete City Philippines. I send numerous email and their pictures if she is denying that she does not know that man is married well she is a liar! She's even luring my daughter with gifts and they have pictures together and she always comes here in abudhabi to have a sexual affair with my husband! That lady should not be in your company! She is disgusting and no respect to a so called "family"!

You should reprimand that Danilor Catada! She is a disgust to your company!

I will send again the evidences if you require. I am not making story and I wont bother sending you a message if I don't have enough evidences and I even don't know that disrespectful employee of yours. But she is ruining my family! Please help me.

Qatar Airways unhelpful service

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on 29 January 2014. After undergoing surgery and numerous tests Iwas informed on 25 March 2014 that I had to start chemotherapy with immediate effect.
My husband booked flights in December 2013 on Qatar Airways for us to visit family in Singapore, departing on 30 April 2014.
Due to my diagnoses, and the urgency of my chemotherapy we had no other option but to cancel our much anticipated trip.
My husband made contact with Qatar Airways and informed them of our situation. We received a formalletter from my Oncologist stating that my chemotherapy was urgent and had to be started immediately and I was unable to travel.
After numerous calls and emails, the Qatar Airways Johannesburg office agreed to cancel our flights and provide us with vouchers which we could use towards flights in future. We were so grateful to them for understanding our situation. We responded to the email that we received with the vouchers asking them how exactly we were to use the vouchers. No answer was received regarding this question. We were however told that the vouchers could be used for any flights at any price and had to be used within the next year but we didn't have to fly within this time period.
At the end of May a special became available for the route that we wanted to book. I had my third chemo treatment on Thursday, 28 May 2014 and the special was ending on 31 May. As I was now half-way with chemo, I felt ready to look forward and start planning our trip again. It would be a lovely treat for my family at the end of this entire ordeal.
On Saturday, the day the special ended, my husband and I sat down to make the necessary reservations. We had not been informed, as requested, how exactly to book using our EMD vouchers, so we assumed this could be done online.
Unfortunately we were wrong. We tried calling the Johannesburg Qatar Airways offices but there was noanswer. We tried calling the Cape Town offices, but also no answer. And then when eventually there was an answer it was an automated voice telling us the office hours and that they were now unfortunately closed. We had no way of contacting anyone to assist us. How on earth is it possible that there is absolutely no one contactable from this airline over a weekend? What about an emergency? Who do you contact then? We tried contacting the offices at both Johannesburg and Cape Town International airports and no answer there either.
Eventually, out of desperation my husband called the Qatar Airways contact centre in Doha only to be told that unfortunately they are unable to make the bookings for us as they have to be done through the SouthAfrican offices. And that these vouchers cannot be used online.
And there we sat, with our mouths hanging open. Watching our 2nd chance at a much needed holiday slip through our fingers. There was nothing more we could do. The special fares ended at midnight.
We immediately documented our conversation with Doha and our frustrations and emailed all the parties involved in issuing the vouchers to us, and the general feedback address. We will gladly provide the names of the people involved from the Johannesburg office.
My husband sent a follow-up email on Monday morning (2 June 2014) and he was then called by the Johannesburg office to make the reservations. Unfortunately we had missed out on the special fares and they were now quoting us fares that would cost R4000 more than we would've paid on the special.
We received a response from Qatar Airways head office on Monday stating that the Sales Manager from South Africa would be in contact. We are still waiting for this person to contact us.
We were obviously extremely unhappy with the situation, after all, they issued the vouchers to us without informing us on how to use them. We did ask for instructions, but were never told.
Numerous emails were sent back and forth between ourselves and the various parties in Johannesburg, and every time Qatar head office was copied in. No one bothered replying.
Eventually the following Thursday I tried to call the Qatar offices to speak to a manager and was told she was unavailable. On Friday I called two more times and was once again told she is unavailable.
I then got stuck talking to Daniel, who is the person my husband made contact with right in the beginning regarding the cancellation of our flights.
My conversation with Daniel was not a very nice one, to put it mildly. He was extremely rude to meand informed me that we should be grateful that Qatar Airways had sympathy forus and was kind enough to cancel our flights and provide us with a voucher andthat they didn't decide to make us forfeit our money (as if we had a choiceabout cancelling our flights!). Andthat the Johannesburg office takes no responsibility for us not being able tobook the special fare flights and the special fare prices will not be honoured.
I was also told by Daniel that he had informed my husband ina telephonic conversation how to use the vouchers. I requested the recordings and logs of thesecalls and have never received them.
After my conversation with Daniel I documented all that wassaid. I also informed my husband of theconversation and he then called to speak to Daniel. This too was not a very pretty conversationin which Daniel clearly told my husband that what I had told him was all alie. My husband once again requested therecordings of all conversations regarding our case. We are still waiting for these.
In the last 3 weeks more emails have been sent by us to theJohannesburg office requesting feedback. And every time we copy in the QatarAirways head office. To date, not a single manager has bothered responding toany of them. Nor has a manager contactedus telephonically.
Last week (17 June 2014) my husband once again called QatarAirways in Doha to make a formal complaint. He was assured by the gentleman that he spoke to that the matter will bedealt with within 72 hours.
We eventually received an email on 23 June 2014 in responseto one of our many emails sent on 14 June 2014 stating that our concerns have beennoted and that we are in fact unable to use EMD vouchers online but can bookthrough any Qatar Airways reservation and ticketing office (then why couldn'twe book through the Doha one when we phoned on 31 May 2014?) and that QatarAirways looks forward to welcoming us on board in the future.
So, for an airline who prides themselves on being a 5-starairline, they sure don't offer 5-star customer service. They'll gladly take your money but theydefinitely aren't interested in your problems.
May I suggest, that unless you are 100% sure that you willbe able to make your flights, that something unexpected won't happen, likebeing diagnosed with a potentially life-threatening disease, don't book withQatar Airways. Cos if there is any needat all for you to cancel or postpone your flights, they'll probably only bewilling to assist you when it suits them...
Sad, sad, sad...
Oh, and by the way, a few hours ago I checked the route thatwe are wanting to travel, on the dates that we were hoping to go, the flightsare now R7000 more! For that price wecould fly direct! Ridiculous!
If we ever get to fly, it will be the last time that we usethis airline. Never, ever, ever, ever, again!

Qatar Airways job offer document

On January 6, 2014 I got an e-mail from hr.[protected]@live.co.uk signede by certain HR Manager Mr. HASAN KHAN, whose e-mail adress I had found on LINKEDIN . He invited me to fill out a questioner ( for job application )and send it back to him, which I did on January 17, 2014 . On January 21, 2014 I received an e-mail from Dr. Mr. Hasan Khan, to which a " Soft Copy of Your Offer Document " along with a copy of an " Affidavit of Oath of Terrorism Form of The British High Court " were attached, inviting me to fill them in /sign and to get in touch with Mr.Bar Ibrahim Dan Khalid of Godolphin Chamber & Solicitors in London who could provide me with the so called " "Active Secret UK Security Clearance " needed for my hiring . Mr Hasan Khan stressed copy of the Clearance would have to be submitted on or before January 27th via email. Hence, I emailed to the above referred to Mr. Bar Ibrahim Dan Khalid, who replied to me on January 22, 2014 instructing me to pay the Fees for the Security Clearance in the sum of 880 GBP " strictly on Western Unionand Money Gram .I Can provide You with the above mentioned pieces . As I am seeking a job with Your organization and being cash-strapped I could not pay out the claimed money, thus shunning a most likely rip-off. My e-mail adress : [protected]@infinito.it

Qatar Airways baggage delay and I had to pay for delivering the baggge next day to my hotel

I flied to Malmo, Sweden from Sri Lanka through Qatar Airways (Sri Lanka to Stockholm) and Scandinavian Airlines (Stockholm to Malmo). My baggage did nit arrive on July 21, 2013 in the flight I took from Stockholm to Malmo due to mishandling of mu baggage by the Qatar Airways in Stockholm, This has happened because Qatar Airlines in Sri Lanka did not instructed me to clear my baggage at customs at Stockholm ARN airport and Scandinavian Airlines have not delivered my baggage in the flight I travelled. I had to pay SEK 478 to a taxi for delivering my baggage on the day after my arrival to Malmo. Both Qatar airways and Scandinavian Airlines refused to reimburse the SEK 478 I paid to get my bagggae. Do they have ethics?

Qatar Airways qatar airways staff cancelled my ticket

Help the oppressed palestinians course!
Eye witness account of how qatar airways disgracefully closes check-in counter on the face of a helpless palestinian couple before closing time!

This incident occurred on wednesday, 13 march 2013. The flight was scheduled to take off at 2:25pm. The couple reached the o. R. Tambo international airport in johannesburg well in advance. They were experiencing some difficulty due to incorrectly being informed that they had over stepped the weight limit by 16-17kg, hence they were required to pay r900 for that. In brief, they handed over the money to one mrs choice, the lady in charge of the qatar airways desks, who in turn asks them for their 'other' passports, as they were carrying jordanian passports.

As is common knowledge, most palestinians generally travel with jordanian passports due to their passports being treated like dirt. So how the hell on earth did this lady come to know that these where palestinians and not jordanians that she has the audacity to asks them for their 'other’passports.

Bearing in mind that there was no discrepancies whatsoever in the jordanian passports they carried, proof of which is that they flew from amman to qatar & thereafter qatar to johannesburg on this very trip carrying these very same jordanian passports besides the many countries they flew into prior to this.

So they ask her, & ldquo;what passport are you talking about?”, she takes up their time in this irrelevant discussion until only five minutes remain for the desk to close. But still the fact remains that there was five min remaining.

So she tells them that time is up hence u cannot fly on this flight. They argue that there remains still five minutes, whereupon she shuts the books on their faces shouting to them, & lsquo;do whatever you want, you are not flying on this flight and I can also prevent you from flying on tomorrow night’s flight aswell!’
They plead but to no avail, in the meanwhile mrs choice goes back to her desk twice doing as if she is going to check them in, playing jokes with them. Mrs clarie another head staff of qatar airways in o. R. Tambo airport gestures to her with eye language that do not take these people, she replies with gesture: & ldquo;dont worry, I am closed”.
This is what goes on at the & ldquo;arabain qatar airways” desks who claim to be the best airlines worldwide! I am eye witness to whatever I have written in this article.
The scream at him: & ldquo;there is no ways you going to fly on this flight”.

Hence they leave the airport in utter humiliation not knowing what to do.

At this juncture it should be noted that mrs choice and mrs clarie being the head of the qatar airways team in o. R. Tambo int. Airport would not take such a drastic step on her own accord, which stands to prove that there is some secret policy of qatar airways siding with the israeli, zionist apartheid regime against the helpless palestinian people!
Furthermore it should be noted that qatar airways desks are only second in line from the left to the el al israeli airlines desks!

They then call the main office hoping that someone could help. They are told the only solution is that they have to pay a penalty fee of r1900 per person, then only will they be allowed to board the next day i. E. Thursdays night’s 9:55pm flight, and that the more they delay the more they will have to pay! In this state of utter bewilderment, mr suliman, a kind muslim businessman from johannesburg somehow comes to know of their plight and offers to take them to the qatar airways main head office at fourways to take up this matter further.

The next day at qatar airways head office in fourway

They speak to the call centre assistant mr suhail rasool for approx. 2hrs. All this while, they are turned down the opportunity to see the country manager directly. At first the excuse being that he is busy in a meeting. But mr rasool acts as a medium between them and the manager. The most that was achieved in these two hours was that manager’s decision is conveyed to them by mr rasool:

"there is nothing that can be done now, they will have to pay r1900 per person if they wish to board onto the next flight, then the manager mr kendy phohleli will look into it and if he finds them to be free of guilt he shall refund them the full amount, if they do not have the money (Which was the case) there is nothing that can be done",

This was what came up after 2hrs of discussion with mr rasool who acted as a medium between the oppressed victims and the manager.

Yet again they plead to have an audience with the manager himself so that he could hear them out directly, to which the reply comes that he has already been updated regarding the problem by the o. R. Tambo airport manager, who in turn was fed with the info mrs choice had presented to him, as it can be stated with 100 percent certainty that he had not witnessed the scene by person. So mr manager kendy says there's no need to hear the victims themselves as he already has the info of what had transpired and based on that, he had presented to the victims the only possible solution (Which had being mentioned above).

All this had taken no less than two hours.

Again they demand to see the manager mr kendy, to which mr rasool says:

"you cannot see him personally you will have to liaise via me as he does not see any clients!"

Seeing that they were not getting anywhere, mr suliman decides to call the press to come to the scene and record the entire incident, whereupon mr rasool hurriedly gets up and rushes into the closed offices, and returns with news that the manager will come out shortly to see you.

Now approximately two and a half hours have passed that the manager arrives on the scene, and yet again says, "i have already being fed the info from the airport manager as to what had transpired hence I present a solution to you if you wish to board tonight’s flight. " he then mentions the same massage mr rasool had been relaying to the victims from the beginning.

They tell him how can he make decision based on a third party’s infomation, after which he agrees to hear them out. But he is adamant that they will still have to pay the full amount.
They plead that when it was not the passengers fault, as the couple had arrived long before the check-in desks closes, why must they be compelled to pay this exorbitant amount, when the qatar airways staffs were the cause of him missing his flight. At first he does not accept it to be their fault. Then he says that the best he can do is wave of the service fee which is r480. They plead that the victims doesn't have r1420 x2 in their possession as they are returning after completing their three weeks tour in s. A.

To which mr kendy replies: 'well, in that case there is nothing much that can be done". More than an hour passes with mr kendy the manager himself. In this 1 hour he must have mentioned at least 5 or 6 times that noting more can be done other than what I have proposed to you, i. E. Waving off of the r480 service fee. After spending at least 3hrs 30min in the office, mr kendy finally says, & lsquo;ok, I will wave off the service fee, no show penalty and date change fee, hence they have to pay only r840 each.

The victims seeing that four hours had passed to come to this stage, and that just a few hours remain before the next flight departs, readily accept the proposal and with the help of a kind brother from the benoni area, are able to do the bank transfer immediately securing their flight. And all praise be to almighty allah. Eventually they flew out on thursday evening, 14th march on the 9:55pm flight.

We hope that they would have already reached their blessed homelands of palestine by now.

Please as a muslim understanding the plight of the oppressed palestinian people we beg you to pass on this article as far as you can, be it via email, face book or whatever other form of social media you have access to. We cannot allow qatar airways to deal with their own brethren in this despicable manner!

Qatar Airways the staffs of qatar airways (in vietnam) cancelled my ticket illegal

I present my case below:
1/ i bought return tickets zurich - hcmc and hcmc -zurich : from 2 feb 2013 ( zurich-doha-hcmc) to 24 feb 2013 ( hcmc-doha-zurich)
2/ on 24 feb 2013, i was in tansonnhat airport in hcmc and i checked in and recieve tickets, staff of qatar airways weighted my luggages and no problem with my baggages . ( 23kg and 7kg)
Staff of qa tagged all of my baggages and she said that, my hand baggage is 7kg, and i can share some things of my shoulder- bag to my baggages .
3/ when i ready to went to the plane, these staff prevented me and they ask me must reweight, this time, they said that my baggages over weight 3kg (because i shared some things as medicine, cosmetic along with the boots, jacket because it was so warm )
- so i took out these things and put in my shoulder-bag ( camera, medicine, jewels, laptop) and back wore my boots, my jacket
-so my hand baggage returned 7 kg .
- but they still not agree and they forced me that : must pay or cancel my shoulder-bag, it was unreasonable ! because i was not wrong, i did not agree and i required them to reweight my baggages, they did not make .
- after that they cancelled my tickets, i could not go step on the plane( !)
4/ when i required them to make record and resolve my case, they threatened me and call airport security come, while i was not crime . mr dung and mr vinh said that : i must waited until the plane close the door, they will take me to airport security to made record .
5/ the staffs of q-a at airport kicked me out the passengers area, they treat me as a crime and they
Have bad attitude to me, they are very insolence, they challenged that i can not do anything about them ...
6/ rule of qatar airways :you are allowed to carry one piece of cabin baggage without charge (depending on the class you travel), as well as any duty-free items you have purchased on the day of your flight. you may carry personal items such as a purse, briefcase, cane, camera, etc.
-i made right this rule : - my hand luggage (7kg) )- my shoulder-bag with personal items ( camera, jewels, medicines…etc…)
-i felt very surprise, because all of my baggages, which i brang from zurich airport, but i did not have any annoying and i bring these baggages to vn safety, but in vn, staffs of qatar prevented me and cancel my ticket
7/when mr vinh took me to airport security to make record, they just wrote with reason : customer did not accept rule of hand baggages of company. ( please pay attention: they did not write 15 kg on this record)
-i required them to give me a copy, but they did not agree, so a staff of airport security said to me that i could use camera to take picture this record ( enclosed this record with my complaint )
8/ next day, i called to booking office at hcmc, staffs of qatar airways said that :
- all of tickets of march to zurich were finished
- if i want to travel early, i must pay extra, as on [protected] flight at 23.00, i must pay extra 350usd
- i did not agree, because i don’t have money to pay extra .
-she gave me phone number and email address of mr philip odhiambo (airport services manager (sgn), but i couldn’t contact to him, i just spoke to mr dung, staff of his office, but this man said that mr phillip has not the right to resolve my case.
- after that, i have went to booking office again to require supplying a new ticket for me, but they said that just have tickets come to geneva, if i want ticket early on 6-3-2013, i must pay extra 300usd .
- so they supply for me 1 ticket on [protected], so i will not pay extra
- - i must be in vietnam more 18 days, this thing did not have in my plan, i remind : i just had 3 weeks vacations in vn( from 3-2-2013 to24-2-2013) so i did not prepare money for more these days, so where is money let i pay extra ?
Mr ali n alharazi (senior officer qatar airways ) always said that , he said very easy, but they are very unreasonable, why must i pay extra while their staffs were wrong ?
i was not wrong ! ( make sure 100%)
9/ i sent my complaint to manager of tsn airport and customer relations department, but mr philip odhiambo and mr ali n alharazi did not resolved my case objectively and accurately, they just listened and trust your staffs and do not care about the interests of customers,
10/ from the reasons above, i have some requests and questions below :
-- i want to direct meet mr phillip and his staffs ( mr dung, mr vinh ) face to face, so he can consider and resolve this issue more objectively. ( i required this thing 3 times, but he did not reply )
- i want to see the record, which he said that it wrote 15kg ? in original record, the staffs of q-a at tsn airport made and with presence of the airport security along with the signatures ( of mine and mr vinh –staff of qatar airways ), please pay attention :
+if the record had had not signatures of both( i and staff of qa ), it was invalid
+if the record was corrected - it is different with original record, it is illegal and break law
- which rule allowed staffs of qa check and weight baggages of passengers 2 times, before they go on board ? i saw only in vietnam ! i was not wrong, because staff of qa had weighted my baggages and changed me tickets and tagging on them, (if my baggages are overweight, staff at check in desk did not give me ticket and tagging baggages)
- i just have vacation in vn in 3 weeks, and i must come back switzerland for my jobs, for my family . but staffs of qa cancelled my tickets illegally . it was wrong ! so i require qa must compensation for physical and mental for me
- the staffs at tsn airport made late of my job and bad effect to my family and my health, my husband said that he ask qatar airways in zurich, they told him, i bring baggages 14 kg (?) how do you think, while mr ali and phillip always made sure my baggages 15kg
- i have history of stomach disease and heart disease, and i was not prepared for medication for days was stayed more in vietnam(18days), i must went to see doctor and have prescriptions
Vietnamese staff of qatar airways at tan son nhat airport (hcmc) is very bossy and generally making it difficult for passengers, even asking passengers to pay but they keep this amount (in 2011, i have flight of qa, my luggage is overweight about 2kg, they have demanded that i must paid $ 20, but they did not give me the bill, after that i do not want to carry luggage overweight, it is very complicated and it is bribery ( i used to have 8 flights of qatar airways )
I feel very surprised, because all my luggages, which i brought from zurich airport, but i do not have any trouble and i carry the luggage safely to the vietnam . but in vietnam, the staff of qatar to stopped me and cancel my ticket.
I only stayed in vietnam for three weeks, and i have to go back to switzerland for my job, for my family. however, the qa staff cancelled my ticket illegal. that is wrong! so i asked them to compensate for the physical and mental for me. but managers of qatar airways ( mr ali n alharazi (senior officer qatar airways ) and mr philip odhiambo (airport services manager (sgn) resolved my case bias and defended wrongdoing of their staffs .
I was not wrong, so i would like the justice must be done !

I present my case below:

Qatar Airways did not accept us on board

yesterday, my partner, myself and my 2 kids were supposed to fly to argentina at 5.10 pm from ho chi Minh.

we bought our one way tickets online with opodo.

we are french.

when we arrived at the airport at 1.30 pm, it was still too early for the luggages check-in.
we went for a walk and went back to the open counters at 2.30 pm.

the very rude staff took our 4passports and asked us to wait in order to check our flight tickets.

10minutes later, they came back and just told us that we could not get onboard because we did not have a way back or exit ticket from argentina.

so we tried to buy 4more tickets from argentina to Uruguay (very upset as it should not be a surprise for the customer when he spends over 3000 euros for a company.
for some reason, our credit card did not work, after one hour of trying, we finally got our 4new tickets,

the plane was leaving 1hour later but nobody accepted to talk to us, they did not even pay attention to our new tickets(they even dared to tell us that what i was showing them hotel reservation without even looking at my iPad screen.)

they were closing and cleaning their counters and we were all there waiting for somebody to care of us.

they were speaking vietnamese and laughing, i felt like a real idiot, giving my money away to those disgusting peoples.

i asked to talk to a manager or anybody else able to help us out, but they told me that everybody was busy for the boarding and they won't come to help….

i am still in vietnam, my visa expires today,

i called the main agency in ho chi mihn yesterday with a tourist's mobile and they briefly told me that i would have to pay an extra money (more than 1000euros) if i want to fly today because tonights plane would be full in the economic class…..

i checked that on your website and they still had more than 6 seats available in economic class.

this is a real lack of knowledge and professionalism.
this kind of people should not even exist in such a company if you really care for your customer service.

what about my extra expenses, taxi, hotel room?

is it all?
is it the way Qatar airways treat the customers?
is it the way a family with 2 young kids should be treated?
what is going to happen with my visa?
why should i even pay an extra money and leave you guys mistreat my family and my wallet?
what are you gonna do to help me?
why about, you contact the Qatar agency in ho chi minh?

Qatar Airways lack of professional and courteous conduct

I am a frequent flyer with Qatar Airway (Membership Number: [protected]). I’ve always the viewed Qatar Airways as the carrier of choice for me and my family.

Yesterday (July 16, 2012 @ 6:00 Houston time), 5 family members were traveling from Houston to Dammam. The treatment I received was the worst I have ever experienced. To be specific, the subject of the complaint is 2 individuals according to their name tags (Silman and Kazem, who identified himself as the supervisor), following are the specifics of my grievance:

Excessive delay. I was the 2nd person in the queue when the counter was opened but the last passenger to leave.

There was an attempt to deceive me when I asked for the seats that I reserved so the family can set together despite what was show in the e-ticket that I showed them.

I was deliberately inconvenienced about the check in language being over by as little as 1 kg although I explained that the card privilege of the passengers allows for as much as 10 kgs each.

Both individuals lacked the professional and courteous conduct with total disregard to family situation.

Qatar Airways not 5-star service

My flight was booked months ago to fly from Dammam to Doha to Johannesburg. (Flight numbers QR584 and QR 717). Despite booking a seat online, I was the product of an overbooking and had to be re-routed via Nairobi. At Nairobi they would not let us through because we had no Yellow Fever vaccines done. This hellish ordeal was nothing like 5 star treatment. We were placed in the business lounge for hours not knowing the details of our reroute. There was one granny with her 3 grandchildren gong through the same ordeal as me. Qatar Airways made me feel like just a number on this trip and the human quality was never considered by them. This is not a 5 star airline. Upon arrival in Nairobi and a group of non-vaccinated South Africans insisted to see a Qatar Airways staff member, we were finally assisted by a Qatar staff member. He got us exempt from the vaccine and our boarding passes printed. This after many hours of South Africans deliberating with Kenyan Airport staff. I was very grateful that my luggage arrived at JHB with me. Unfortunately I could not claim my small compensation, as the Qatar Desk was closed for the night. Cannot say I was surprised. Not 5-star treatment at all.
