blood test per doctor order
I had doctors instructions to give blood for testing a week before my next doctor's appointment, but doctor did not give me the written order. When I came to the Quest Diagnostics in Mission Hills, nurse LIZET asked me to call my referring doctors office and ask them to fax the order, and once the order is in, she would call me right away without the need...

As I was pulling out of my work, mosaic in Riverview FL, a quest vehicle sped past me in the turning lane only to cut me off in my lane almost running me into oncoming traffic in the middle of an intersection so that he did not miss the light. I am assuming he did not notice he was in the turning lane to turn right and swerved right in front of me screeching his tires. Completely reckless and almost caused me to have an accident. The vehicle number is 78453 and the tag number of the vehicle is KUBY98 and this occurred around 4:30pm on Thursday November 14th at the intersection of US Highway 41 and Riverview Drive In Riverview Fl. Not to mention he was tailing me pulling out of the plant when the speed limit is 14mph. I am completely appalled. I do have a picture of the tag of the vehicle as well.
service
Went for blood test. Stick was painful it appeared she knew. Either by my expression or he knowledge that she didn't do well cause she asked if ok.Each change of tube hurt. Now I have a ugly very painful bump. I'm in florida in long sleeves to cover it up. She did not check on me again or say sorry or mook at me the time I was there. I walked myself out got home and my arm was hurting. Once I removed bandage I knew why. These pictures dont do justice. Not happy at all.

In at least 4 visits the person doing the draw caused very much pain. My questioning at large in the medical community has it, these people should be considered experts due to high volume in their daily employment and do more of them than anyone else . Why then should such an experienced lab tech have such a difficult time finding a vein or cause so much pain in the process? Sort of like learning to box, stick n move, stick n move, stick n move blah blah, you know the rest.
I believe this was done intentionally when someone had a beef by what
another told them as gossip. My upcoming visit to a quest lab will be telling by what transpires then . I am an average man but with bulging veins for anyone to see. Will I need to complain afterwards? It remains to be seen. Some of the lab techs are
arrogant or snied when talking to me during the procedure. I obviously
do not care what their opinion is of me, only that things are done correctly.
billing for blood work
I'm a fairly young (early 20s) college student and they screwed up my credit by billing me for things months later that were supposed to be covered by my insurance.
I had tests done at Quest at the end of the prior year and had switched insurance by the beginning of the following year, so this may have been the reason for the error.
Regardless, I received the bills several months after my test were done, when they could have easily sent it to my previous insurance which covered this. Instead they waited to charge me until my old insurance no longer had me on file, ruining my credit.
I know exactly how frustrated your are with them because I also experienced distress from many of their billing errors.
If Medicare denies claims for expiring deadlines for date of services, you shouldn't be obligated to pay them. It is providers fault for not billing to Medicare in timely manner. I am also confuse about their confusion about billing codes? You can contact Medicare and verify whether your provider able billed Medicare. All you need to verified your insurance coverage for your DOS and your invoice with that dos to fight with collection agency or resolve issue with doctor's office directly. If you have EOB from your doctors visit on same month, you can also show it as evidence that you have the coverage.
Good luck,
I was sent to the Quest lab in Haverhill, MA by my doctor for allergy blood work. The lab technician said she didn't have the right medicare code so I went back to my doctor's office where the nurse called the lab with the code. When I went back to the lab I was once again told it was the wrong code. I went back and forth with the doctor's office and the lab for almost two weeks and once again the nurse gave me a new slip ordering the blood test with the medicare code on it. When I went to the lab I was finally told it was the correct code and they can draw my blood. I said as long as it is covered by medicare go ahead and do the test. They said OK and drew my blood for the test. I did a follow up with my allergist and went over the test results.
Several days later I was deployed to Nebraska for the flooding and I was gone for five months.
When I returned home I find a letter from a collection agency for non payment of $195.72 for the lab test. When I contacted my doctor's office I was told I shouldn't have been charged for the test because they gave the lab the medicare code for the test. That was in August 2018 and I still can't get in touch with Quest billing department. I now have a collection agency chasing me even though I explained to them that I was not supposed to be billed for the lab test. If anything goes on my EXCELLENT credit report because of this BS from Quest I would love to find an attorney to sue their butts off and maybe even get a class action suit filed against them.
The technician in the lab told me they had the proper medicare code and the lab work would be covered. Now they want me to pay them $195.72. NO WAY I will fight this for as long as it takes.
I'm going to contact my state's AG and the insurance commissioner's office.

Never, ever, ever use Quest Diagnostics Labs. The company sent a statement including all blood work and tests made to my partners employer causing huge embarrassment. After reaching out by phone, email and letter I've never received any explanation, apology, or statement of how they will not repeat this treatment to others. I was told by a Quest Rep on the phone the company had violated HIPAA privacy laws, but they don't care. After sending letters all I get is a reply stating the balance I owe with the last sentence, "We hope to serve you again soon."
reckless driving
I was in the number 1 lane, your driver left the number 1 lane to move into the left hand turning lane. When the light turned green, your driver lurched out...on a red turn light, to zoom back into the number 1 lane ahead of the flow of going home traffic. Is this normal for your drivers? Is this who you hire to drive for you? Clearly your company only values cutting corners where it meets your desired outcome.

Michigan Mobile Phlebotomy is contracted through Quest. The African-American lady was very rude and unprofessional. She repeatedly laughed at my son's disability. This staff needs to be retrained or terminated. She then called me repeatedly when I asked for a supervisor after she hung up on me. She called me to the point of harassment. This type of unprofessionalism should not be tolerated.

In September 27 2019 I presented myself at the appointed time to this quest location. I waited until a female came out and waived me to follow her. I entered the room and she asked that I sit down. On September 28, 2019 at 4:22 PM, I spotted a vehicle speeding up behind me on Space Center Blvd, Houston, Texas 77598. I had switched lanes to allow the vehicle to pass me. As the said vehicle was passing, I looked over and noticed that on the side of the vehicle, it had Quest Diagnostics on the side of it. I then noticed that on the back hatch there was a little sticker stating that the vehicles speed was monitored and not allowed to go above the posted speed limit, so I took down the vehicle Unit Number (34803), because there wasn't a license plate on the vehicle. I would greatly appreciate it if you could look into this A.S.A.P.
Thank you kindly.
staff behaviour, unethical, cleanliness of entire facility, language being used by the staff
Today I was appalled on my visit to Quest when i noticed the entire front staff cursing, speaking rudely to elderly clients, violating HIPPA by mocking patient's illnesses. I witnessed the front desk staff scream at an elderly woman because she couldn't understand the automated check in process. The employees were acting like high school kids in a full...

I was traveling on Dalton bypass coming up to intersection at airport road, driver comes flying up behind me and almost rear ends me. I have a semi to the right of meand can't move over only speed up as he's right on my bumper if I had to hit my brakes he would definitely hit me from behind. His car says his speed is tracked i don't believe this as we were in a 55 mph zone and i had to go 60 or a little above to be able to get him off me. Finally he moves over and speeds off I proceed to take pictures of his vehicle at the intersection of dalton bypass and Riverbend Road, he then decides to slow down. It was horrible and scary as the had mowers on the right hand shoulder making traffic slow down and hes right on my bumper. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS AND ID LIKE A RESPONSE BACK AS TO WHAT WILL BE DONE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR IM ALSO A DELIVERY DRIVER AND WOULD NEVER DRIVE LIKE THAT AND PUT ANYONE NOR MYSELF IN DANGER OR CLOSE.
drivers behavior
On friday aprox 21:30 on Hawthorne blvd going on to 405 South freeway bound in Torrance California, White Chevrolet Trax #50389. This driver trash out from the window while this person is driving front of my Car. Trash seems like big white To-Go container, some paper napkins and some more stuff. This driver should not be operating a vehicle for Quest Diagnostics because it makes the company look bad. Have a Common Sense please.

This employee does drugs. She should not be allowed to work in this type of environment dealing with patients. I thought this company did drug test I'm very upset that these are the kind of people you have working for you. She is rude to the patients.
