QVC scam

After shopping on line for a Christmas gift, my checking account has been billed 3 times for 11.95, when I call their phone number they ask for more credit card info, and a pin/account number, yet my bank does not even have a phone number for these creeps, why TF hasn't the Fn gov't done something about these jerks, if I could get a physical hold of just one of these folks I'd educate them on just how wrong it is to steal!

I used to order from QVC until I started receiving items that had been used and returned by other people. Handbags with hair brushes, hair and crumbs in them and toothbrushes that were opened and looked used. I even had them send me an e-mail asking me to return a wine opener that was given as a gift because it was defective. I think that you should get something that is NEW shipped to you and not something that someone else has already used. After all, I am paying for a new product, I am not buying something from a garage sale and I did not offer the return policy that they have, they did. If this were the case, then QVC should advertise their items as used. I think that it is false advertisement when you send a person a used item when they are paying for a new item. I don't shop QVC any more for this reason and the fact that many of their items are of very poor quality and end up getting returned anyway. I would rather see what I am paying for and know that it doesn't look like a rummage sale item, especially when I am going to give it as a gift. Just wanted to put this out there.

First of all, learn how to proof-read. Second you need to look up the work ESTIMATED, it doesn't mean definite. Most companies have a shipping time frame of 7-10 days (which it seems as if you are in it). Your complaint is only valid if you don't get it by Christmas. And if you don't, QVC only has to refund shipping costs. It doesn't actually sound as though you were lied to at all. Seems to me like you just want to put up a fuss about nothing. Sit back and think a little harder about what this will do to your life in the long run. Again, I would like to stress you use your computer to look up the term ESTIMATED.

QVC poor service

I ordered a Samsung tv from QVC using a prepaid debit card (Walmart) and everything was fine till I got a call a few days later explaining they didn't accept prepaid debit cards (nice of them to process it though). I canceled my order, but asked if I could use my bank debit card. They said yes, they accept those. So after waiting TEN days for them to return my money I deposited it and ordered a Philips tv I liked. I called 4 times over the last few days every time being told the order was fine. They told me yesterday it had processed and authorized and I would get the tv Friday. Tonight I noticed the charge dropped off my account so I called my bank. They said QVC canceled the order. ###s! I called QVC and checked online and both say my order is shipping and I will get it Friday. This is the second time. Screw them. I am ordering it from Newegg in a few months for cash like I should have in the first place. QVC is just out to make interest off our money.

I placed an order on the 15th of August then saw the same product that came with a kit on the 16th. They said "no problem we'll cancel the order and reorder ” what they didn't say was that there was a hold on my account for the first order. QVC bait and switch on product offer

I ordered a set of pans from QVC. The product id, description and picture stated that the pans would be blue. When the package arrived, the pans were red. The description has now changed on the website to say that the pans are red but the picture remains blue.
Not an expensive set of pans.
Not a big deal and I can live with the red ones.
What is frustrating is the 'bait and switch' tactics they used.
While looking for this specific set of pans, I located them locally and at two other online retailers. I specifically ordered them from qvc.com because they offered the BLUE ones. The price was 5 dollars higher and I would have to have them shipped.
If I wanted red, I would have bought local, saved the 5 bucks and the $7.47 shipping and handling.
Annoying...
I will NEVER do business with QVC again and will advise everyone I meet to do the same. Bad business.

I agree that QVC's selling tactics are questionable. I stopped doing business with them months ago. I can't honestly say they did a bait and switch with me. However, I have found their pricing on many items non-competitive. For many things (not all) you can go to the vendor's website and get the same item less expensive. The reason being is the vendors often provide free shipping. It is true that due to their buying power they can make special deals on sizing and/or kits. I have found, however, that I only use a few items in the kits so the value is not really there. I prefer to buy a specific, individual item right from the vendor. If the product is unique to QVC, I usually go to the vendor's website and many times they have a similar product. To each his/her own, but I do not really have much faith in QVC these days. This is only my opinion.

QVC customer service and service not what it used to be

Previously when I've returned an item, it showed up on the order status within a day or so. Not this time. Now they are saying it could take 17 days to process. To be honest, I could have just returned it for a refund and ordered another one and received it faster. I had to return the item because it was defective. All they had to do was send me one that is not defective. 17 days? Come on. Also, if you check your order status they do not update this on a daily basis. You can order something on the 20th of the month and on the 25th it will still show that you ordered it on the 20th with no further info on the status. I've been shopping with QVC for approx. 8 years and in the past year their service has just gone downhill. I'm looking into HSN.

I have placed an order today for two Lock n Lock items. My FIVE4U discount voucher was valid, it stated this as i was placing my order. When i went to check out, the FIVE4UVoucher was not shown at the checkout. Why was this?

I feel let down, and disappointed.
