I reached out with an issue and was essentially told I was lying.
Music was blasting loudly. I refer to that as music with cussing and loudly blasting to where I cannot even hear. Answering the phone and screaming hello without further explanation of hello, this is red roof inn is not professional. I thought I had the wrong number for a moment. Either way it was unacceptable to answer the phone that way. Headphones for music are an excellent solution to suggest to your employees as it was witnessed they did in fact have their music blasting loudly and vulgarly. More specifically it was whoever was mopping that was playing it. Thankfully my small kids were not with me. So to say they don’t do that is wrong, considering it did.
Hotel service
I would like to inform corporate HQ that Red Roof Inn needs to disfranchise the unit in Morton Grove, Illinois. #0937. This is the worst hotel I've ever seen. Stained sheets had to ask twice to change out, no breakfast, or broke, ice machine broke, lazy rude staff. Knife holes in bathroom door, holes and broken light fixtures in bathroom, remote not working. Ask to change rooms and told all full but empty parking lot. Tried to check in at 2,45 and told not until 3. Not a single room ready.

Hello I'm writing today to make a complaint on the red roof inn in Somerset KY cause for one they have too give u a reason why they are putting u on the do not rent list well they told me that they didn't have to give me a reason.Cause on the same day I checked in the next day I checked out but mind u I have rented many many rooms from them like room 231 I got that one for a week straight even cleaned the hole thing moped and sweep the floors strip the beds and everything piled up with towels and rags and bedding for them put new trash bags in the trash cans washed out the hot tub and The bathtub clean the toilet even even stuffed to unclog their toilet. So after we run it for that week we will have for the weekend think we are going to 3 days and we went and got a different room the next time we went also a hot tub room also but if I do remember that it was like 229 or something close to that also did the same thing in there cleaned it up before I left mop sweep etc. So that's where these brings me to the housekeeping for 1They don't know how to mop they don't know how to sweep the floors they don't know how to dust their refrigerators or disgusting there they were roaches in the room I even bought bugs spray and sprayed in the room to kill them And also The housekeeper he literally tried to force his way into my room when I told him I did not need him to clean my room He Insisted that I didn't need to clean I told him no thank you then I have everything I needed He continue to knock and knock knock So open the door and nicely told you that I did not need room service to please quit knocking on my door he then stated That he was going to get me thrown out of here if he had to lie he would just to get me thrown out of there.So I'm guessing that's what he did was lie and got what he wanted but I really wish that they would of not kicked me out over nothing so please get it to where I can rent there again.Thank You Megan Natasha Bolin.
Desired outcome: The desire outcome that I want is to be able to rent there again and also get a week at a cheap cheap price. And maybe even a job.

I have filed a complaint about this matter. The manager was suppose to follow up with me but didn’t.
My husband had to call on my belt and was told it would be handled but I’m not convinced.

Desired outcome: Perhaps reiterate customer service rules. Professionalism is key. She even makes my nine year old uncomfortable. That’s something to think about.
Compensation for my lost week that I paid for!
I travel often for work. I typically stay at Red Roofs by utilizing my RR app to earn points and save money. I am often in the area of Crossville, Tn. Although, the manager is always extremely rude, disrespectful, and what I believe to be prejudice against people of my ethnicity, the hotel is close to where I’m working. My experience is, his staff lives at the hotel, 5-6 people of his housekeeping staff in a room on the backside, to which is where the room was, that I was assigned on my most recent trip. I was in the area March 13th-24th. I checked in my 1st week. On March 17th at 10:30 am I paid through the app for another week, as I was going to have to work in the area another week. On the night of March 17th at 11:00pm, someone began beating on my door, it scared me and I didn’t answer, not knowing who it was that time of night, I was asleep. Then the phone rang, it was the manager yelling at me to get out! I was stunned. He said I didn’t pay. I quickly informed him that I had just paid through the app $515.00 that morning for 8 days. He tried to argue with me, but eventually said, “oh well someone posted it to the wrong room” which I know was a lie, because my credit card, which was associated with my room was charged. No apology, just hung up. I called back and asked for his direct supervisor, he told me to leave in the morning. I told him that was a given, I would most certainly leave, and I’d never be back! But I expected my 515 returned. I’ve spent approximately $9,000 with Red Roof in the last 5 months traveling for work. Half that amount spent at the Crossville location. Is this really what you condone for your managers to treat your most frequent customers? Is this acceptable behavior for a manager to treat your guests? He absolutely, had no resolve or worry about his treatment of me. He certainly wasn’t concerned with any consequences. In corporate America, I know you could care less about this complaint, if it was even read, but I will post complaints on this matter with the BBB and any other forum that will listen or give m voice.

I truly don’t even know who this lady was. She definitely had a boss attitude and had no respect for privacy whatsoever. She was in a shirt like the front desk ppl but she was with a housekeeper. She banged on my door in the middle of the day on a Friday like she was the police. I was napping and so was my partner. The second he opened the door she turned on all the lights yelling that just because we have a do not disturb sign doesn’t mean that housekeeping doesn’t do random checks. When I first checked in here (2 weeks ago) the front desk lady that checked me in was really cool and made sure I got the price that they quoted me on the phone. She also had said that weekly cleaning is on Wednesday and Saturday. I clean my own room. I sweep, mop and vaccum. I’m actually a clean freak. I’m embarrassed to admit that I have to do some laundry in the bath, as I keep it’s very clean and have no vehicle and there isn’t a laundromat within walking distance. And obviously no laundromat in this hotel. ANYWAYS there were a couple dirty towels on the floor just to catch the water as the clothes. Towels that were just going to get thrown into the dirty laundry the next morning. But as she busts in my room turning all the lights on she makes a comment about the towels as if I was doing something just terrible. She made some other snide remarks under her breathe and then walked out. I’m living here at the moment so yea all my belongings are here and it’s a small room. It was the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen and she had the nastiest attitude like a power hungry rent a cop. She is the absolute reason I don’t trust staying here anymore. I’m not gonna pay out the [censored] for a place with ppl in charge that are just going do things like that. She’s a talk, wide Hispanic woman with long dark hair. She’s been MIA every since but it’s the Austin South location. She should be fired and get a job as a prison guard because she’s got THE PERFECT ATTITUDE TO BE A C.O. It was like she was doing a surprise cell search.
Desired outcome: I want a free night to figure out where the hell to go now and pack all my crap and get it moved.
Customer service
I booked online while waiting after work because of how bad the weather was. I arrived got stuck in the snow but checked in. It took over an hour of shoveling to get spot clear for myself and get out. As soon as I cleared a spot the plow guy barricaded me in. He did this twice before cussing me out. It’s been a long day already why would I voluntarily get stuck and shovel snow for an hour? By the time I went inside to tell the front desk, I was told “ oh well, not my problem “. Like seriously? I just wanted to go to bed. I gave back the room key and never stayed. I will never be back again. I was never given a receipt and will be contacting my bank about the fraud this place is.

I checked in at the Red Roof Inn in Merrillville, IN and found out as I was getting ready for bed there were no towels. My nephew went to the desk and returned with no towels...they didn't have any. I went and was told they had no towels and they were sorry about that. They desk clerk said the laundry person didn't show up for work so they had no more towels available. The manager had left knowing of the issue and I was told was not returning calls. I was even asked if they could find one towel would that help? NO! I'm not sharing a bath towel with anyone. After complaining long enough she "remembered" a room that may have towels and where the door lock was not working. So later that evening, and after walking around on the property in cold and snow flurries, I had a set of towels. My bath towel was full of holes but it was late and I couldn't think of going elsewhere at that time. When I spoke to the girl the next morning I indicated I wanted an adjustment to the price of the room. She informed me she couldn't do that and would need to wait for her manager to arrive which according to her was after check-out time. She assured me he would call and work that out with me. That was Saturday morning and it's now Monday afternoon and still no call.
This was the worst experience I've had at any motel ever! They knew they had a towel issue and still took my money for the room. Totally unacceptable to me. In addition it was a non-smoked room that was strong with smoke.

I have been staying at red toof everyday for the past 3 months. Red roof on Indian trail and Brook hollow pkwy in Norcross, Georgia. I have been making my reservations daily on the red roof app as it is the cheapest. I have been charged daily an extra 3-5$ fee on top of the original price (including tax) as it appears on my receipt. I cannot get a direct answer when I ask where this fee came from (because tax is included in my receipt). I have been charged daily extra for no reason an nobody can tell me why my reservation receipt is not the actual amount I’m being charged at the property.
Desired outcome: I would like my money refunded. Nobody can tell me where this fee is coming from it’s not on the reservation. I didn’t question it at first but I’ve been here long enough and this is starting to add up in price.
During my stay at the property red roof inn on Brook hollow parkway in Norcross Georgia, I stayed in a bed bug infested room for 2 weeks before they thought I was bitten seriously enough to move me out of the room. When I got my lawyer involved. They rented the room out to a new person the next day.
Rudeness
I been here for 3months and never had anyone be so disrespectful and rude Like Mr.jay was to me today on 1/30/2023 I went. Down to the front desk to let the know that the heater was sparking and we needed to move to another room. Ok so that's was that then Mr.Jay ask me about my payment for the room and I advised that I had already ready talk to the other lady Mrs Courtney he pointed his finger and told Courtney I don't talk to and that he advised me that he was in charge so I had told him when I was going to make my payment for my room after I told him when mr.jay started getting smart and I advised him that it's people in this hotel that's not paying or still owe money Mr Jay told me that don't matter this is the only hotel that's I feel comfortable but I will not be disrespected by anyone that works here.

On January 28 I rented a room 120 at red roof inn ... We got into the room and we went out for a few hours without really checking the room thurly ..when we arrive back to the room I go to the restroom and when I look over there is nastiness all in the shower and u had to wash the toilet. Then I realized there is no toothbrush and I normally do not care but I really needed it as I had forgot mine .. when I go to lay down I notice holes in the comforter and smoke stains all over the sheets ... I would have left the facility if I had a ride bc it was not a date night like planned my home was much cleaner. Checked in at 1045pm on wed. Just got back from Dallas Texas so we were so tired. The first room we got was not clean and the door would not shut so we couldn't lock it so they moved us to a different room. This room had candy wrappers from the last customer and also the beds felt like they were bowstring. 1 bed smelt like urine so we had to sleep in the same bed. The air conditioner was all busted up. So we changed rooms again. This room was alot better. So when it was checkout time, I went to the office and ask the front desk if i could speak to the manager the front desk person was rude, and said manager was on conference call, but I heard her I the back talking to people. Then they threatened me with the police when this was merely a customer service issue! Ridiculous.

Thee check-in experience at this hotel was awful and wrong. The lady that check us in said that our card would only be held for incidentals and not charge due to the fact that we previously had paid for the room on hotels.com We where charged twice for the same room and not given a refund for the room at the hotel even though it is on our credit card statement twice for same room. No refund from the hotel. All we have received so far is an apology. Be careful with who checks you in and dont let the new girl do it because she screwed us up on this trip and caused us to go over budget.. So be cafeful if you stay here.
