repeated disconnection even after submitting caf form 5 times!
I have a prepaid Reliance CDMA phone (93250xxxx5). I have been using it for the past 5 years. I had received an SMS in July of 2010 to re-submit CAF as per new guidelines. I had duly complied with it and submitted the form with relevant documents to Reliance Web World located in Aundh, Pune, India. Suddenly my service was discontinued in August without intimation. On enquiry I was asked to submit the CAF form again. I did that again and at the same Reliance Web World store. My service was restored but blocked again. The same process was followed, service restored and stopped again in October. This has now happened for 5 times and I have submitted CAF form 5 times now. The service was again discontinued on 19th January, 2011.
Harassed to the extreme, I got in touch with the Nodal officer for Maharashtra on 20th January, 2011. The nodal officers, Vandana, Sameer and others, assured restoration of service within 24 hours. They have been assuring this every day since that day. The number is still blocked.
By this attitude RCOM has proven over and over again that they excel in scoring high on customer unsatisfactoriness, harassment and outright rude customer service. Now I know why RCOM is loosing customers by the tons and number portability is a God send for thousands of RCOM customers like me.
My suggestion to all is to stay away from services provided by Reliance Communications to avoid loosing ones piece of mind.

wrong deductions

My Reliance CDMA number is [protected]. On 21st jan i received a message stating "You have been successfully subscribedto My Music Station service at Rs.30 for 30 days. To unsubscribe Dial TollFree [protected] or SMS Unsub 1839 to155223". The Service was started without my Initiation or my approval and Rs.30 was deducted from my balance. When i called the Tollfree number for unsubscription i got my 30Rs. back however Rs.6/min was deducted on account of calling that TollFree number. When it was clearly stated in your message that it is a TollFree number how can you charge me for calling that number. Moreover please explain me how could you start any Value Added Service without my request or approval. I want my Balance to be paid back within 48hours and an explanation for starting VAS without my approval.
In case i do not get sufficient resolution i am going to file a written complaint against Reliance-CDMA group along with all the proofs in Consumer Court for compensation for the harassment i am facing.

At 11.00 A.m i call on 198 and started my conversation to Mr. Rakesh they told that some combo pack activated in your account for that they charge Rs.49.
but i never request to approve to activate the service
they are making me fraud by deducting balance from my account then mr rakesh transfer the call to Abhinav, then abhinav transfer the call to shabana, same problem again, shabana transfer the call to her Tl to MR. parthav. the problem is a same when i ask to transfer the call the direct manager they say manager will call you back in before 1.30 pm on same dated.
i have wait but i diidnt recived the call partan has given me one number i.e. ([protected])
I again call on 198 at 2.30 Pm on same dated then Mis gudu recived the call, but sittl i didnt get proper response regards my balance.
So. sir please take a look of my problem and resolved it.

not providing upc
Mobile number portability recently started in india.
For porting your mobile number, first you’ve to get your unique porting code (Upc) from your existing service provider. For this you’ve to sms port your mobile number to 1900.
Your existing operator will send you the 8 digit alpha-numeric upc from the number 1901 as an sms (The upc will be valid only for 24 hours).
But reliance communications is not sending upc code. Always I get the message please try again later.

Transferring my SIM card to OMH card

I have approached 3 different reliance web worlds in the last 10 days but nobody is able to shift my old sim card to OMH card so that I can access the internet on my latest samsung MPower 369 mobile handset.
Places I have visited are -
1) Bangalore Koremangala reliance web world
2) Hasan Reliance mobile store - contact person - Ms. Heena
3) DP Road pune Reliance web world - contact person - Mr. Navnath (020 [protected])
Wherever I go, everybody asks for some address proofs and say, it will take 24 hours to activate the new number and tells me the procedure what to do with the new OMH card for activation but nobody is able to really transfer that number.

I do have samsung 369 omh and not able to run internet even Reliance pleople are not having any knowledge they refer to Dealer from where I have purchase mobile. and Dealer refers to Reliance store. OMH sim card should come with handset free of cost as per Reliance mobile store information and web gallery. I also dis not receive OMH card and neighter thy provide me any information on this. I had to rush 3/4 times to Reliance gallery and everytime there answers were not satifactory. Finaly I got OMH sim card at an open outlet at cost of 100/- and it was activated within 6 hours.
But still reliance cutomer care is not able to explain the internet plans they have and the speed issue.
Facing the same problem from last 6 days, customer care saying OMH sim cards are available in Web world but, people of Web World says if you purchase the handset from Web world then only we will provide you the OMH sim card. I am really fadeup now. Pls provide me the proper address where I will get definite solution. Ashutosh

Dear sir,
I have cancelled my broadband connection subscriber id [protected] and billingaccountno.[protected] very before, due to the power shut off in broadband connection everyday routinely for 2 hrs in day time. Before cancellation, I have logged the complaint to resolve this issue nearly 6 times (Have reference complaint numbers. ) , unfortunately the problem was still continuiung in our city. Hence, I requested to cancel the broadband connection after paying all my pending dues and received the mail over it of cancelling.
I have been sent mails and being called from various technical team, professionals, nodal officers regarding the inconvenience. But since three months, I have been sent continous bills for broadband service which has been already cancelled and took away, this puts me in very stress. The last call was in the last week saying to ignore all the bills and reminders because it has sent as a mistake. They apologized
I have been again threatened notice to pay the unused bills for cancelled broadband connection from & ldquo;dev associates & lawyers”/. This is completely harassment & torturing process. I hereby request your good office to please close this issue. I am fully disappointed and my health is affecting by this stressed notice

I am having a frequent power cut in our city, cuddalore (City for 2 hrs) at 12.00pm to 2.00pm afternoon. In that period reliance broadband connection is unavailable including telephone service for nearly 1hr. This is in a routine daily basis, continuing and apart from this if power cut goes for 1 min unexpectedly, nearly 30mins no connection & no telephone service. The reason I have received is no power back-up in dlc. This behavior is since the connection established.
I have complaint few three times, to customer care. I received complaint nos. But no solution ? I have two more broadband connection other than this to my relatives. I am not able to function along this unstable service, I have told already to disconnect my line as well as other if this problem continues. Few times the power has gone out while talking to my clients, and working on banking networks. To this scenario who is going to take a responsibility for my loss ?
I did not use internet & telephone since many days, I removed the line from my connections. No use connecting it. Am disappointed in a corporate response, I cannot pay my bill if I receive a receipt, as I have already cancelled and requested to remove my connection.

unauthorized sms pack activation
Reliance activated SMS pack on my mobile without my authorization and then despite repeated complaints for around 2 months now, they are not de-activating it. Everytime I visit their store they are clueless about my problem and ask me to contact customer care. Every time I will call them on customer care number, they will tell me that it will be deactivated in 3 hours the deactivation never happens and I am being charged regularly. Everytime, I ask for Complaint number they don't provide it. If I insist they keep me on hold for 2 hours and never respond back. I was furious and called again and asked for their manager and he did provide me the complaint number. Everytime I contact their customer assurance cell, they tell me that it has been done but I am still getting SMS and I am being charged. Finally, I contacted their Nodal Officer after waiting for over a month and provided all the Complaint details... they guys wrote back telling me that all those are "Interaction Number" and not the Complaint numbers so, they will not act. Here are the approximate statistics of my interaction with Reliance on this issue... Called Customer Care around 80 times spent more than 80 hours. Visited Web World twice. Wrote to Customer Assurance Cell 20 times. Wrote to Nodal officer 10 times. End Result they are still charging me for the SMS service and I am still getting disturbing SMS.
Refund and Compensation awaited.

sudden decrease of account balance
Reliance gsm service suddenly decreased my cell phone account balance from rs 39. Xx to rs 9. Xx activating some value added service for which i never asked them (Mobile no. [protected]) . Their customer care executives are lying to me saying that i've sent the vas activation request from my mobile phone, and they are also saying that this money is non refundable.
So, if any reliance officials are listening, i just want to say, stop being dishonest and cheater, cheating innocent people to make money, and give my money back.

I regert to write that today I went to your Reliance World outlet at Fountain Chowk, Ludhiana (India) which is about 5 km from my house. I gave the cheque to the person- a male- sitting on the counter and asked for the receipt. My interenet ID is [protected]. He ordered me to drop the cheque in the "Drop Box" pointing with finger to the "Drop Box". I asked for the receipt and he ordered me to come in the evening to collect the receipt.
When I insisted for the receipt, he told me to go to Red Cross Building where the Reliance Broadband is having its office. I dropped the cheque in the box and came out of the outlet without receipt.
I ask you one question, don't you need customers? If your customer service is like this, how will you attract new customers. And without customers, no company can survive for long. Can't you have "Drop Boxes" near the area where you have about 100 customers. It took me 1 hour to reach your outlet just to drop a crossed"a/c payee cheque" without any receipt. I am 53. Have pity. I have made up my mind to switch over to another company.
I sent this complaint on the email address on which I receive your bills. It bounced back. Why? You can send the bills but can't recieve the complaiant on this address. Appear to be very intelligent. Misuse of electronic system?
complaint of using duplicate sim issued from purnia without my concern
This is chandan kumar from bhagalpur, bihar. I am user of smart service for the last three year and more, bearing mobile no. +[protected]. It is issued my younger brother his name pankaj kumar recently I was in a roaming from 22 november 2010 to 2 december 2010. While in roaming on 23 nov 2010. My sim was blocked by the operator. I was on my bussiness trip and was unable to be in touch with my client for which I beared a loss of rs. 2 lakhs and more I loose my contract with few of my potential clients.
After coming back in the city, I inquired from the reliance communication that for what my sim was blocked and mapped by another sim and issued to some other person from purnia. There was no exclamation from there side that why they did so.
Now I am forced to take necessary action against your company for the loss I incurred in business, mental harrassement and loosing potential customer of my business.
It is the responsibility of the company to cross verify that who is the customer and whether he owns the sim by his/her name.
Let me know that what action against this complain the company is going to initiate and who is going to pay back the loss which I incurred financially, mentally and physically.

I am susheel kumar, i am using reliance GSM no is [protected].And on this no i have activated your night plan (Rs 69 ).
According to This plan i got 5000 mins or 300, 000 seconds b/w 11:00PM to 6 :00 AM on any reliance no. For some days it was going normal.
but suddenly after 15 days i had seen my balance is deducting, i had talked to your customer care executive, and told me that your 5000 mins are over.
But it is impossible, because i normally i used it for only 1and half hour(90 minutes ) or maximum 2 hours. so according to me it should not be finished.
It is very simple If u convert 5000 minutes in hours it becomes more then 83 hours, and if u divide these 83 hours by 30 days then it becomes more then 2 hours, and if u divide 83 hours by 15 days then it comes (5.5555) near 6 hours.

I am susheel kumar, i am using reliance GSM no is [protected].And on this no i have activated your night plan (Rs 69 ).
According to This plan i got 5000 mins or 300, 000 seconds b/w 11:00PM to 6 :00 AM on any reliance no. For some days it was going normal.
but suddenly after 15 days i had seen my balance is deducting, i had talked to your customer care executive, and told me that your 5000 mins are over.
But it is impossible, because i normally i used it for only 1and half hour(90 minutes ) or maximum 2 hours. so according to me it should not be finished.
It is very simple If u convert 5000 minutes in hours it becomes more then 83 hours, and if u divide these 83 hours by 30 days then it becomes more then 2 hours, and if u divide 83 hours by 15 days then it comes (5.5555) near 6 hours.
So now my point is when i had not use my number (Maximum) 2 hours, then how its is possible...

I have had it with reliance communications, reason is cheating, fraud... yes that is what i call it, wrongly charged bills, no customer care, poor network, account balance dissapearing and every possible means of cheating.
I am a miserable customer who hardly has a way out, you should have enough time and enery to fight these people and that too for no good.
I have given up but with a resolution, and that is not to use anything that says reliance.
I have purchased a new phone from the web world of reliance at sec 14 and they gave a old mobile in seal packed box when i did complain to them they just refused when i saw them the old sms and pics which was their of old dates before it was actually sold it they said you sud have checked them before.
I stopped a connection of data card of reliance in feb till now i am getting billed for this and getting threatening calls even. can some body help me giving the name or no of concerned person for the same so that i can stop it finally?

We had 3lots sold these 3 lots were brought at wrong price before expiry date. This is against the rules of trading.

I have a Reliance Mobile No [protected] which was purchased from Reliance Web World located in Sacred Heart, Wanowri, Pune. At that time I had furnished all proofs of identity and residence as well as photograph. I proceeded abroad on 26th June 2010 and came back on 12th October 21010. I found that my connection had been terminated and I was directed to visit closest Reliance Web World/Galleria, . I visited the same Web World where I was advised to submit fresh form with photograph, proof of residence and Identity and buy a new package even though my previous connection had life time validity upto the Year 2021 and more than Rs 500 of talk time.
I thereafter took up the matter with Customer Support giving all details on 18th October 2010 with weekly reminders since then. I am being given a stock answer;" we are sorry for the inconvenience. Your case has been forwarded to the concerned Depatment. One of our executives will get in touch with you shortly.'
My husband who has an Idea Mobile did not have any such problem. The inference being that 'Reliance is not such a good Idea'

It was 10 days back that I gave you the alternate numbers once again. There was one call about 4 days back when I was promised an action within 48 hrs. That has not happened. Your number from where the call came, viz, 020-[protected] is perpetually busy.
Very soon it will be 2 months since this sordid saga began. I still do not know why my phone was terminated when I had complied with DOT requirements, had enough balane in my account with validity upto 2021. I am also not sure why my phone is not being reconnected although nearly 2 months have gone by.
If my phone is not reactivated in a reasonable time, be assured that I will go to the Consumer Court and demand compensation for the harassment caused to me.
I am reaching the end of my limit of patience.

sms being sent in hyderabad itself being charged internationally
i m from hyderabad n using reliance gsm prepaid service. i have been sending smss n using d sms package service since months. all of a sudden my sms charges jumped to Rs.5/- per sms. after 3 days when i noticed sudden fall in my prepaid balance, i got worried n contacted call centre. all the 3 persons whom i spoke to were so very rude n blunt that i landed up in tears. the excuse that they gave were that i added 00 or +91 before the mobile no before sending the sms. i sent the smss to d same friends whom i sent earlier also n i never typed d no personally everytime. then why don't these heartless dirty people tell me ki how is this possible only from 3 days. ambani n his company reliance mobiles is a BIG BIG CHEAT.never take a reliance connection. also he need 2 teach his employees how 2 talk 2 d customers. i m really really frustrated.

My RIM cell no. is [protected] at Ludhiana, Punjab.My prepaid amount gets deducted unnecessarily on account of subsribing missed call alerts, caller tunes etc. even though I never subscribe it and when I like to contact the customer care their no. never gets connected.In one day on 25.10.10. I have lost about Rs.70 FROM MY PREPAID ACCOUNT by such cheating activities. We have receive a message "your subscription to CRBT service has been renewed at Rs. 30/ month.To unsubscribe SMS UNSUB 1003 TO 155223". Such scheme deduct our balance many time and I was try many time to unsub same scheme but reply message can not sand try again.
Till today from 2006 to 2013 no action has been taken. This is the way Reliance has grown big. Even pf amount is not credited I doubt whether it is deposited into Government or consumed by themselves.
