This is a complaint regarding poor cust service received from 2 advisors and 1 supervisor in customer care.
ISSUE: I wanted to set up a caller tune(Zindagi Ek Safar hai suhana- Code:5361116 from your internet but it did not work after 2 attempts. The first time I had sent this message(MT 536116 to 51234) I heard the song "aaya re aaya koi aaya re" on my phone and the second time" Zindagi ka safar hai ye kaisa safar") I called up customer care and spoke to an executive and a supervisor who could not even speak proper english and claimed that i have sent an incorrect message. When i told them to do the same from their phone - they disconnected the call.I called up again and spoke to a 3rd person who again parroted the same thing.I then asked for a supervisor but Neither did they reimburse the incorrect charges nor did they even check it up. It is reaLLY SAD TO SEE SUCH A PATHETIC SERVICE TO LOYAL CUSTOMERS.Saurabh Bhatt/ Chhaya/ Yogesh and Rajesh are the 4 people whom I spoke to and all 4 of them were pathetic. They didnt even knew how to speak English and were just parotting the same thing. The end resolution was charges can be checked only once I get the bill and at that time they would dtermine if they can be reversed or not and for the correct song I can try calling the number if SMS does not work. If i wish to escalate it further I can call the next day and speak to someone else. There was no higher authority available. When i enquired bat complaints procedure- Saurabh asked me to send a letter as he didn't even knew abt e-mail procedure.
If there is something which has not worked in your service- I would not appreciate the company charging us for that. Also being loyal customers for 4 years - This is the treatment that I received for a genuine issue which is highly frustrating and irritating.
A SUGGESTION TO EVERYONE: PLEASE DON'T GO WITH RELIANCE AS THEY ARE THE WORST TELECOMS I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS.

no website, no customer service!
Reliance India Call has been having continuous problems with their website and there is no way to recharge an existing account. They have no customer service options which allows one to call in and re-charge their account. If they do not intend to provide a reliable service, they should take themselves off the market. I have tried accessing their website numerous times over the past few weeks only to find out the website has continuously been down!
I was also trying several times in last few days to charge but web site was not loading in IE. Today I tried in Firefox and was able to recharge my account.
I'm experiencing problem accessing RelianceIndiaCall.com web site. This has been going on for a while. I can access other Indian web sites such as Times of India etc. I called Reliance India Call customer service and complained about access problem. But they could not provide any solution. Funny thing is I can ping their website from a command prompt but can not access their web page. I wonder if their web server is overloaded. It is surprizing and disconcerting to have problem with the web site associated with Reliance name. Even the quality of their web site is so poor, doesn't seem like coming from a world class company.

I take the above comments back. From my office network, Relianceindiacall.com *does* load with Firefox ! It seems to be an internet traffic routing problem between verizon business and reliance india communications. I have emailed the network administrators with more details, hopefully they can fix this issue soon. In the meanwhile, try accessing it from a different network.
Horrendous "support" for non-IE browsers!
We were experiencing the same problem with not being able to access the website for weeks and finally thought of digging out their customer service number from cached webpages - it is [protected].
After talking to one of their customer service representatives, it appears that they only support Internet Explorer or Netscape - if you are using a browser like Firefox or Safari (who does not use Firefox?), the website will not even load and it would appear to the end-user that the server is down. Which webmaster does not have the skills or common sense to return a simple page to the user and message saying "Please use IE 5.5 or higher"? Also they have all our email ids via which they send us promos, could they not send out a broadcast about this website limitation - it has worked in the past with firefox. In any case, we asked the agent to notify these basic issues to their web support team.
In this day and age, they MUST support Firefox since most US and Europe customers use such alternative browsers.
reliance india call a prepaid phone card to call India from many countries (I primarily use it from USA) has been down for 10 or more days and no clue what is happening.

Whenever I go to Reliance office in Vasai Road West I always find several people who have complaints against Reliance. Many times even the staffs are least bothered about it. Most of the time they give excuse that the concerned person is not present or they have forwarded the complaint to the concerned department. But the complaint never seems to be solved.

Reliance is going through some serious issues, I believe. Like someone else on this forum, I could not recharge through their recharge-toll-free number either leave alone their website. USB modem internet connection!
I brought an USB ZTE CDMA 1X MODEM from Reliance Mobile 10 days before from Reliance Mobile in Brigade Road, Bangalore. This is a post paid connection that came with my HP Pavilion Note, thinking about the mobility and net connection speeds up to 144 kbps I paid Rs.3180 for this pathetic internet connection.
The average connection speed I get is less than 15 kbps. Worst case is some times I get connection speed less than 5kbps. At these speeds even simple home page of google.com fails to load. I have done all the basic trouble shooting steps to increase the internet connection. When I called Reliance Customer Care I was transferred to their technical team, which is even worst.
The tower signal shows as full strength but the connection speed is very slow this is because reliance does not offer its customers what its promise. Reliance is company that can’t be trusted. The BSNL Dial-Up connection that I have is far better than the high speed USB modem from Reliance.
To check the internet connection further I even took my note book where there was a reliance tower. It did not make any difference. Reliance Technical Support is worst. So, I think Anil Ambani should be held responsible for all these.
My advice is, don’t buy Reliance USB modem.

I request for Reliance Netconnect 3G dongle. Rahul Singh Chauhan (email ID :rahul.kumar@vriti-interactive.com : contact No.- [protected]) called me and asked me for the required documents. During the call I requested him (Rahul) to activate the connection as early as possible. To which he (Rahul) responded that if I'll submitted the document before 12 o'clock in the afternoon, he'll take care that the connection would be activated on the same day by 7 PM to 8 PM.
As per our discussion, I forwarded the document at 11:27 AM on 06 July, 2012. In the mail I requested for an acknowledgment of the mail. There was no acknowledgment from him (Rahul). Rather I made call and asked him (Rahul) about the mail sent. During the call I again request him to activate the connection as soon as possible. Rahul again assured me that he'll take care and get the connection activated on the same.
I was told that I would receive the device within two after he (Rahul) receive the documents. But I received the device at 8:45 PM. I had to stay late in the office just for the device. As a result of which I had to cancel my booked tickets which cost me more than Rs. 3500. This was only because I've to wait for the device which was supposed to reach at 2:30 PM.
After all this when I tried to connect Internet using the device, it was not working. I tried to call Rahul but he didn't picked the phone. Same thing happened on Saturday. I tried to call Rahul but he did not received the call. I made 25 calls and not even single call was attended. Same happened on Sunday. On Monday morning (today) I called Rahul, luckly he picked the phone but did not answered any of my question and used harsh world and humiliated me by using unhuman phrases. When I asked him that I would escalate this act, Rahul replied that I can try anything I could do, and he (rahul) give a damn to such escalations.
I request you to please take a some action and provide me justice.
We are using your Wireless Reliance Netconnect facility from last four months. We do not able to pay the bill amount as on or before due date of bill because of non receiving of bill on or before due date. We didn't received a bill of month June 2011. My Reliance Netconnect Internet Services Broadband post paid MDN No is: [protected].
For the last three month, starting from 10th of April 2011, I am not getting the service of Reliance Netconnect service at my present location. I have sent them several e-mails and asked the reliance Customer Care to terminate my reliance netconnect due to non-availability of reliance network. (Vide Reliance Interaction No: [protected] dated April 19, 2011, Complain no: [protected], [protected], May 26, 2011.) But for the last two months they are neither giving me the service nor stopping sending the bills. On May 26th, 2011 they confirmed that if I paid Rs. 477, they will terminate the connection and they would stop harassing me by sending false bills.
Accordingly, I paid Rs. 477 on date 29-05-2011. After getting the money from me, they denied to terminate the service and instead insisted upon changing my plan, which I said, would be of no use to me since there is no network from their side. They sent one email message stating :“ please note that your data plan has been changed to BRDBAND2GB_5003MF with effect from 02-06-2011”. They also confirmed that, as there is no service from their end, there will be no charges during these three months. But, till date I am unable to use the Reliance netconnect data card, starting from 10th of April 2011. But they did not stop sending the bills. On 25-06-2011 again they sent one new bill without providing any service.
In spite of my repeated request, (both by email and phone call), to terminate the service, they are neither terminating the service, nor providing the service. All they seem to be interested is harassing their customer by sending wrong bills.
Reliance netconnect service is very poor. I am not getting any reliance tower or connection.
They keep on sending the bills, in spite of my repeated request both by email and by phone to terminate my account, due to non availability of services. I am absolutely unable to connect to internet through Reliance Netconnect. Hence, I am compelled to buy other internet services to do my work. Now, Reliance Netconnect is totally useless for me. The total investment for buying reliance netconnect broadband has proved useless.

i took reliance HSD device in the month of September 2012. At the time of getting the device.. the corresponding agent told me that this device will reach the 3mb/sec as the max net speed and 1 mb /sec is the min speed.

wrongly deduction from my prepaid mobile balance
Since 07.07.2004, I am a prepaid mobile customer of reliance india mobile & my mobile no. Is [protected]. But last three months I am facing tremenous problem for wrongly deduction of my prepaid balance amount every month in the name of value added service pack which I never activated. Whenever I received such type of call or voice mail regarding these service pack, I rejected these offers. Unfortunately they started deduction from august'07. Details of it is as follows:
1) in the month august, they deducted rs. 49.00 for cricket update service. When I complained that they adjusted the amount after five days.
2) in the month of sepember, they again deducted the same amount from my balance and again I complained for that. They informed me that anyhow your cricket update service pack has been activated and told me to deactivate it from reliance webwolrd. According to his guidance I unsubscribe it. On 25th september at 8-05pm I received the following message from 51232 and my balance has been adjusted:
Dear customer. Sr. No. [protected] has been resolved. Rs. 49.00 has been posted for wrong charging. Rest deduction is correct.
3) in the month of october, they deducted around rs. 80.00 from my prepaid balance. When I complained for it they send me the following message on 31st october at 12-51pm:
"message from 51232
Dear reliance customer, as per sr [protected] you are charged correctly for the value added service pack which you have activated. Thanks "
Now my complain is that I have not activated these service packs. Whenever I received call or voice mail regarding these service packs, I rejected these offers and last three months, I am complaining that I don't want these service packs. Inspite that they are deducting my balance by sending messages. I am not bound to take these service as a reliance prepaid mobile customer. Why are we facing such problem as a customer? I want all these service should be stopped and my wrongly deducted amount of rs. 80.00 must be adjusted.

How can be our attitude agree, neutral or disagree, this is injustice with janata. I am a prepaid mobile customer of Reliance India Mobile. I am receiving all the time unwanted SMS & calls from customer services of Reliance India Mobile, If we attend the calls then they are started to selling there product and also cheating to the customer this service pack is free etc.., we requesting them we doesn’t want free and paid service, then why customer service doing the cheating with the customer. Reliacne India call services are becoming poor day by day.
1. Many days, their system got jammed and does not pick up the calls.
2. The voice quality has reduced a lot.
3. Some days, the line is getting disconected frequently. The pity is when you try to make a call again, you get a message that the service is busy in this line. Alas ! The computer has not released your line and the meter is just running. You try call customer service, the call keeps ringing.
I was trying to register in AIRTEL site. Kudos ! The site does not allow me to register and keeping error message. Very poor quality web site.
When is India going to improve despite claiming that they have a big brain power?
Reliance India Call service has gone so bad that they do not even pay attention to what customer is saying. I called RIC service to complain that I cannot make calls from my registered phone. They took all the information politely and said that the problem will be fixed in 30 minutes. I called after 2 hours and they repeated the same drill again and told me that the problem will be fixed in 30 minutes. When I asked what happened to the first 30 minutes, they do not know about it. I called again after 2 days and after 1 week. Same answer. Like many people, I had to close my account finally.

I moved in 2005 and transferred my the account to new phone number but these idiots forgot to make changes. I tried to call their number [protected] and only way to access these stupids is the phone number and pin. and once that does not match then the phone call is terminated. There is no way to tal to any customer service person. This typical ### Indain attitude. Indian business men wants to global with this shiity customer service attitude. There are dime a dozen phone companies.
They give a damn to their customers. I have remarked that in their site they have "call start time" but they don't provide the "call end time" and they provide the duration. It's difficult to calculate how many seconds they cut from your account unless you use a stopwatch..which is frustrating. And they cheat your cents while you make calls. I called one of their customer service employees about this and they did nothing and later on, another day, I asked another guy to pass the telephone to his superior and he replyed "I am not authorized to transfer the call". Calling for service is nothing but wasting your time .
I HAD the same problem. they are cheats ! Reliance sucks... They cheated my money whrn I cancelled my account and asked them to refund the balance. They asked to recharge again so that they would track my credit card and refund the entire amount. But what happended! There are frequent cases of signal fading apart from low connectivity which results in delay in calls especially through std cards.
Complaints against the reliance customer care officer who are not taking any action against our complaint and low network connection provided by you in our locality (Bank of India ZO Building Arera Hills Bhopal, M.P.).

I booked a Reliance Wimax connection in Pune on 25th September 2007 and eversince have been facing a major problem.
There are a few things they dont clarify at all :
1) The stability of the connection takes 10-12 days minimum (and the number of days increase depending on the days you've spent waiting for it to getting live... they'd say 25 days if you spend 20 days waiting for the connectivity to go good)
2) They have a constant problem with something called as a BTS (whatever it means) and the net stays out of order for days at length.
3) When you need it the most, it will show its real colors by getting down the drain.
4) They dont get ur customer id registered until the connection is live and running... Its been almost 10 days since the connection has been installed at my residence and even today if i call the customer care, they tell me that they cannot help me and that i should contact the local sales rep.
5) The local sales rep will shrug his shoulders as if he is the last person to know about the situation and will forward you to some senior of his who inturn would blame the customer for everything (dont be surprised if they start blaming you for your urgency and their commitment... one person even blamed me for his installation team didnt get a drilling machine to get the device setup)
I have my business work which suffers badly with an average loss of Rs. 10000 per day if i don't get online during USA working hours. And thanks to the hopeless non-reliable wimax connection, i have already lost a lifetime.
DO all these ISP providers trying to cheat there customers out of their money like our great politicians?. And provide a poorer service as the customers do not have a choice? . Damn these politicians and the business men who swindle our hard earned money.

Right from day 1 I have been getting Top Notch Speed of about 130KBPS for the rate of Rs 750 per month.!
NO COMPLAINTS with Relaince for atleast this connection of mine!

I got a reliance broad net connection back in october.. I had raised more than 4 cases with reliance since the 1st day and we have spent more money on our telephone bills calling reliance than we would have on a leased line..
Every day I would have to call the reliance customer care to get my connection working. Once i call them they would put me on hold for at least 10 mins and then ask me to try after sometime. Eventually my connection would work after that (in ~1 hr.. not sure what they do..) but only for sometime and starts giving trouble again.
When I raised my voice to the floor supervisors at the customer care, they would promise me of fixing my connection permanently but that would be a fake promise as I will face the same problem again..
This has been the same every time I call them and I've written a concern mail to the times of India also reg my issue.
I have lost hope of my connection getting fixed.I've applied for a BSNL connection and waiting for that. But I don't want reliance to get away with my money I spent..

I am also one of the Unlucky fellow, fell in to dirty well of Reliance Broadnet. I am using Wimax.
I truly agree the pathetic service provided by the Reliance Broadnet. Actually it is Fraudnet.
I got replaced by Dish 3 times, nothing works properly.
Now they are saying that adapter need to be changed for good connection. If i call up customer care, they are very generous in giving complaint number only. But none of the complaints get solved. They are bunch of jokers sitting at customer care.
Now if i see my mobile bill is more than the broadband bill as i frequently call the customer care, hoping i will get proper connection, But again loss only.
But they are very good in following payment only..
I opted for 2000kbps (1.9Mbps) plan, but i get a speed from 30kbps to maximum 500kbps, it is not constant.
Most funniest tool reliance provided is speedometer, to check the speed of the current connection, it shown me 232MBPS, can you believe this, anyone in the world has now.
My favorite business enterpenaur is Ambani Brothers, but they are spoiling their name.
Some one should get initiative to resolve.
Hope in future we all get..

Hi, I am Balvinder from pune & I paid rs 562/- cheque to Vincent, who is of the sales exc. for Reliance Wimax broad net connection in pune on 17/10/2007. He assured me that I will be getting the assured speed of 150kpbs 24*7 in my area. Later on 19/10/2007 tech team of reliance came at me place to install it but after there hard time of 6 hrs installation no connection was found in my area, I contacted Vincent on same & he said to contact reliance customer care on [protected] & asked for refund of 562/-. I called on the given number but the reply i got from the customer care dept. was that I need to contact the sales exc. who collected the cheque. I called Vincent & he asked me to call his supervisor Sarang Joshi on [protected] so i called & he resend the installation team at my place but again no resolution for same. I call Sarang Joshi & asked for refund to which he replied that he will do something to get it install correctly, again on 29/10/2007 tech visited my place & suggested me to cancel the services as this are is not feasible for Reliance Wimax...& now m trying to call Vincent & sarang Joshi both are not answering my call & once Joshi answered & he said nothing can be done & you need to call the customer care on [protected]. No one is ready to help me from Reliance Wimax dept. I am so much frustrated that where should I go...

I agree with you fully as I am also one of the customers who had experienced this FRAUD NET from Reliance Wimax..They charge a flat fee for some plans,but most of the time,there is no connectivity at all. The customer responsiveness from the Customer care is very poor and dismal!
It is not about getting first but to give good service to the customers, Reliance Wimax is a big no.

I apply Reliance Communications (surat piplod office) for land line phone before 3 months and i give money for it to mr. Sanjay, he works in Reliance Communications in surat n now he cant receive my calls and this company don't provide me my phone yet. I took a postpaid connection in june 2007 on the assurance that psychical copy of the bill will be delivered timely. However no bills are received. When i complain at customer service they register a compliant. They say we are sending duplicate bill but no bill is received the the staff at customer service is helpless. I cant shift the service provider as the set sold has the sim sealed. I have wasted 12000/- for set. A total of about 30 complaints in 3 months with no results. I Feel cheated I am 75 yrs old and cant run to their webword every month to collect duplicate bills. It is clear case of blackmail.
I m using reliance mobile for past one year... and this is the ever worse service provider i have found in my life... this is the third time they have disconnected my connection without any prior nfuotice... even thou i have fulfilled all the formality... also they are having worse customer service... first to contact them you have to wait at least 1/2 hour... after connecting to customer service they will never respond well... you will never be satisfied with their answer... all the time they will ask you for your document even if you have submitted one day before... i will suggest to everyone not to use reliance services in any case... what ever be their offer... you will get frustrated...
I have purchased Reliance Netconnect USB Modem, it’s speed is slow and connectivity problem in Boisar-401501, Maharashtra, Ostwal empire and Shikohabad-205135 (UP), Khatrana colony. Why is problem going on. I have registered many complaints, but no response. I am very disappointed!
This is regarding the refund for my landline connection which I had terminated on 7 th of May. Since then, and after paying no of visits to the office at sinhgad road (nxt to big bazaar), there has been no response from the people working there. They are not even in position to give any status. The staff seems very careless on this front and not even bothered. Every time when I visit, they take down the no and assures that they will get back, and nothing happens really.

Please note that we have paid the charges for 2 USB Modem for internet connection to the above Company dealer in Borivali east- M/S Yash Enterprises (Mr. Pratik bhai - Manager ( cell no+[protected]) and Mr. Nitin - Asst. Manager) on 19th Sept. vide cheque no 982901 of Canara Bank, Borivali for INR16400/-( for one mobile plus sim plus 2 usb modems) they promised us to give the Modems on 22nd sept. After that we have made numerous visit to their offices and they were not giving any proper reply about the delivery. Moreover the Mr. Pratik didnt even provide the invoice for the cheque amount. Later when you call them they start disconnecting your phones. Anyone suggest is there is any way where can i get justice in such a case? I dont know the company website or call centre number for making complaints.

yes, reliance broadband is a great cheater, the all the above problems also exist in my 75 kbps plan. They are the real fraud in bills also, every time they will add service tax. They are very irregular in their services and really telling never take this reliance in any mobile or net. They are the real cheaters.

4. If you call them, you will only these these two sentences : "Sorry for the inconvenience" and "It is your fault/problem/wish". They don't even have know to talk to others.
5. The technicians don't even how to load the driver software(incredible guys!).
6. Even if they don't give any service, they'll charge you the "service tax".
Whatever may be the issues, when it comes the billing, Reliance is very punctual. Now I come to know why these Ambani brothers are reach.:-)

dude.. the problem is mainly in their power supply
if you have a black box, check if the wan and run light are blinking n what color... their power supply of either your building router or area router is generally faulty and keeps giving frequent problems.
also if its a new router the problem starts after a month or two once the router has stayed on for that long and generated enough heat..

ground service staff and employees can only do as much to attend to the call and replace the router / power supply which they efficiently do in a day's time..
my advice sine we know their infrastructure is unreliable, keep mtnl / bsnl / airtel whichever (ADSL) is in your area for backup so that you dont have a blackout
My service was terminated for not paying the bill in due date. I had paid the bill one day late after due date but my credtit limit was Rs7000. The reason behind not paying the bill was there were issues in bill as Reliance had charged me for what I was not supposed to pay. Know I have paid the bill but still they are not able to reactivate my connection. And the answer I get from there customer care is they will foward my complaint on URGENT basis to there concerned department. It is almost 8 days still they have not activated my connection inspite of payment of bill. And what is the defination of Urgent can you please explain?
Also I would request you to compensate for the losses, we are bearing because of your employee’s negligence.
