Today (22/08/09) I received my latest Bank statment. The second to last entry informed me that a card payment of 19.95 had been withdrawn from this account by a Company called - rewardsnow.co.uk.

I have not heard of this company until today and I am absolutley positive I have never ordered anything from them.

How do I get my money returned?

My email address is - ken.[protected]@talktalk.net

these are a bunch of fookers, i had £19.95 taken out of my account today 03-03-10.
i noticed it was rewardsnow.co.uk so i googled it straight away and found this complaint thread,
from reading all the posts i started to boil and rang these ### straight away and managed to speak to a women who seemed to have her head up her ###, saying apparently i never cancellend my credit scoring check which i know i did on the very same day i signed up for it, the thing never worked for me and never gave me any information on how my credit check was, which made me cancel it within 10 minutes of trying the damn thing, when i cancelled the agreement i was led to a link to cancel policy which stated in black and white i would be charged for the service as i was in my 10 day free trial, the women got all shirty with me saying she needs email proof to say it was cancelled to refund the money, there was no confirmation email that i received to tell me i was no longer registered and she knew this, she then put the damn phone down on me giving me enough time to call her a daft cow ;-)

from reading these posts it looks like there passing information from 1 ### to another so i closed me account down today within minutes of the call. i will be sent a new card with different digits in a day or 2,

i would advise you to do the same as me on the same day you find this happening, without the long digits there screwed, lloyds has announced i will get a refund back but could take weeks. Hell least im getting it back.

one thing i truely hate in this world is tossers thinking they can screw people over and get away with it, i got caught out on an add on ebay leading me to this mess, beware what you do from now on people, if its not paypal then dont pay at all.

IMPORTANT!11 Phone this number [protected]! they cancelled both accounts that they had set up eithout my knowing, my bank could not cancel it for me, so phone the above number and they will tell you how many accounts you have with them and if you want all of them cancelled! they've stole £80 quid from me, rewardsnow.co.uk and quickcrditscore.co.uk, so cancel them immediately as the only other option is to close ure bank account and re-open another! hope this helps!

I have just been in contact with my bank regarding the THEFT of money out of mybank account by both these companies, the bank say they cannot stop the card payments and that I should contact these companies directly and ask for a cancellation code.If I dont get one I should inform the bank who will then proceed with investigating why they are stil taking money. The bank gave me these contact numbers;HIGHCREDITSCORE;[protected] & REWARDS;[protected](very similar numbers dont you think!)...

i too have had money taken from my account 2 payments of £39.90 were taken on 21/03/10 this was on my credit card which was already over limit but bank paid this out to these crooks as well. i spoke to bank who gave me two phone numbers
QUICK CREDIT SCORE [protected] and REWARDS NOW [protected]
telephoned both same person spoke to said i applied for credit report and they sent welcome emails i admit i did try to get credit report but it didnt work and i didnt think anything else of it when they said they had sent emails on 25/01/10 i checked back and i had an email from rewards now with an memebership number but none what so ever from the other after i had ranted and raved to no effect they said they would cancel membership i have now recieved a cancellation email from quick credit score which has a membership number but when i tried it they want me to input my card details for identification (they had no problem with id when they were robbing my card) the bank is now looking into this but they said i cant cancel this card as it makes it difficult to trace this dispute, they could also just link into the other card if it was changed and the bank cant block them from taking payments anyway . IT WOULD BE EASIER JUST TO GIVE THEM THE REWARD OF MY WAGES APARENTLY AS IT SEEMS THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY LIKE.
why hasnt this company been stopped they have been doing this fro years judging by everything on the web about them so why are they still continuing to get away with it

Yet again another month and yes another payment taken from both companys for £19.95, im a single parent of 5 children and recieve goverment money and almost £40 coming outa my account is uncall for.Why is the police not doing anything about it as its fraud, and my bank who ive been with for 15 years says they cant do anythink either so first thing in the morning i wil be closing my account with them and i dont think anybody else is going to do anything about them either so they will just contuine to do what they are getting away with !stroking people!

I have had 2x £19.95 taken from my account, I have telephoned [protected] as advised above, and ordered the payments be cancelled and Ive had 1 payment refunded. I complained that its not right to take money from peoples accounts without confirming this in a letter, the advisor gave me a snotty mouthfull and advised I had 2 emails sent to me. I work for a bank and advised its better to send letters as not everyone checks emails and the advisor said as I work for a bank I should know better! Cheeky get! He said he has been on the website and done it 3 times and its obvious where you are told about rewardsnow.co.uk! Ive never spoken to sush a rude arrogant man! Anyway, I will be keeping an eye on my account to check no further payment are debited.

Good luck to all you guys!

I have had many cases like this and I do hate my bank for this as this would be about my 10th different type of fraud from ym account in 3 years I dont understand how or why. It was only when I had £300 go while on the phone to the bank did they believe me that was about the 7/8th time since I have had to small amounts of £19/£20 so not tooo bad, after-all I hate the idea of calling the bank for 10-30 minutes to be told they wont help and that they will look into this and that they will look into this o they can get me of the phone. But this time I will be going into the bank and telling them what i want and that i will be spending no more money with them their service is rubbish. The mad thing is I work in another bank and refused to work for mine due to this and they are one thats still in the RED why oh why oh why?

This company and quickcredotscore.co.uk have both taken £19.95 out of my account! (almost £40 in total) To most people thats a damaging amount of money! The name of the person who 'opened' the account with them is a male and they claim its not fraud even though i am female and the card isnt in their name! I have spoken to the bank who say they will dispute it for me and get my money back! Fingers crossed! Cancelling my card sounds like a good idea but if they have your bank details surely they can set up a direct debit! These stealing ### must be stopped from ripping off hard working HONEST people!

I received my Visa statement this morning, statement date 15 April 10, with £19.95 being charged by QUICKCREDITSCORE.CO.UK, and £19.95 charged by REWARDSNOW.CO.UK. I have never had any contact, and have never heard of the latter. The former I have seen as an internet advert and looked at it without committing myself, and, certainly, never offering my credi card number.

I have a bank account with HSBC with which I get my statements online. I have been unable to get a statement since October 2009 until July 2010. In the meantime there have been withdrawals of 19-95 taken each month by 2 separate companies.

These are HIGHSCORE.CO.UK & REWARDSNOW.CO.UK.

THESE TWO COMPANIES ARE BOTH A BIG SCAM.

I advise anybody that has this happen to them to get in touch with their bank straight away & cancel your card. Get put in touch with the DISPUTES TEAM. They will get refunds for you for the last 180 days if you need to to go back so far.

I signed up to a free credit score company.A week later a recieved a letter saying no info was held at my address(rubbish) for me, Not satisfiyed i cancelled my 10 day free subscription. I thought this was easy as previously it has been hard work to cancel things like this. Today my Bank is - 19.95 and on my statement it says REWARDSNOW.CO.UK. After googling this company it came up with a crappy shopping site, i rang my bank asap to inform them that this was an unauthorised transaction. They have blocked my card and are investigating the matter. I also rang this pathetic company who informed me that i had recieved email to say i had a free subscription, After checking my emails i discover in my JUNK in box an email giving me a membership number and charging me after 10 days. The woman on the rewardsnow contct number was very condasending saying that it was not there problem that the email went to my JUNK in box and would not refund my money. I hope my bank will do the right thing as i am sooooo mad i could expode. I did not agree to this company. Stupid Idiots!
