I bought the most expensive model available in my country following very positive comments from people I know.
My iron only worked for a period of one month and then it started leaking water. I took it to store I purchased it from to claim the warranty and they told me that they didn´t have that service and that I should take it to the service center whcih I did.
After waiting for a month they wrote me to say that it was ready... I picked it up and to my surprise in only lasted working for an hour and the same issue happened again...
The following day took it back to the service center and I called rowenta offices to claim the bad service from the center, they told me that they would handle everything for me and not to worry... I asked if it was possible to have a new iron since I had a valid warranty but they said that they had see every option possible to repair it and if it wasn´t, then they would replace it.
From that moment until now, i´ve been waiting and waiting for a month and a half and still I have no answer from them neither to pick mine because its fixed or to get a new iron.
It has been the worst experience to get involved with a very bad company that doesn´t care about customers spending money for their products!
