I ordered 6 shirts from Ryabe on Nov. 3. The only reason I ordered from this company was because they indicated items were shipped from the US. I did not receive the items until mid-December. Three shirts did not fit and/or were poor quality. A shipping tag on the package had Asian writing on it. That label was covered by one from CA. So the clothing was shipped from Asia to the US and then they sent the order to me. I believe this advertising is deceptive.
I contacted the company to return. They offered me $35, keep the clothes. I responded by email that I would like to return the clothes as they are poor quality and their business practices are shady. I received another email offering $53, I keep the clothing. Again, I responded no, I wanted to return the items.
I was sent an address to return items to. That return address is in Dubai, UAE. It cost $26.50 to send the clothes back.
I had assumed since the clothes were "shipped from the US" (as indicated on the website) that the return should be to the US. That was not the case.
I posted three reviews on each of the items I'm returning. Those reviews were never posted. The reviews were polite, but not favorable toward the company. Again, this is a deceptive business practice as the website indicates we can leave a review. They just post the ones that are favorable.
Please let me know how I should proceed. I have all of the emails.
Desired outcome: I would like my postage refunded. I would also like the reviews posted and the business practices regarding shipping changed.
I am having the SAME issues. But they are not even offering me any money or a return address. Thus is so deceptive. Advertising as made in South Carolina and shipping from Asia. I can't believe that I got SCAMMED by this company.
I am also having the same problem with this company! I bought an order of tops for a total of $177. They don't fit at all. I've tried to return them and they first offered me $25, which I refused. Eventually they upped the refund to $90 but I insisted on full refund with returns. They gave me an address that is not complete. The shipping costs $28. They just continue to give me the runaround. Total scam! Cheap clothes manufactured in China made to fit Chinese women. What recourse do I have?
Have you give through your credit card and file a claim? I wished I had found this site before placing an order but your reviews told me what to expect. I think I was successful getting my money back via a claim process since nothing ever happened with the “company” emails. Guess I’ll just donate the clothes I don’t want.
I ordered several items from Ryabe. It took longer than expected to receive. But for the most part, the quality of the items was very nice, with the exception of a few pieces, where the quality and fit was off.
I’m very happy with most of the items. I will get a lot of wear out of them.
The size charts are accurate most of the time. I do go by them to order each piece as I may need anything from a size small to an extra large depending on the measurements per item. There have been two blouses that didn’t fit. One fit, but was way too short in the length. Another one (a pink button up blouse) that’s even advertised as relaxed off the shoulder style was not only NOT a relaxed style but a tailored style (which I actually love and prefer), but the shoulders were about an inch too narrow making the blouse too small. It’s gorgeous and I wish it fit.
But then I got to the return policy proceedings. The website states that they have a 30-day return policy. This is false advertising.
I was offered $25 to keep. When I refused their offer then was offered $40 to keep, that was shady. I did accept the $40. But I’m not sure if I’ll order anything else from them. Their business practices do not set well with me. And I doubt very seriously we are supporting a US company. I feel that is also false advertising.
