I ordered a medium sized vest, when I tried it on it was the size of a sumo wrestler, I was asked to "send pictures" the vest you sent me was a large? Not a medium... I was offered a "warranty exchange" never got one, then I e-mailed the guy "paul nowakowski" and told him he "dicked me on a vest" and he bullied me into being black listed from your company... So now im stuck with 2 3a+ rifle panels and 2 level 4 icw plates and no carrier, and im training to be a security officer and ive recently had guns pulled on me and was tied up in my own home, gagged and robbed at gun point... Would have been nice if my safelifedefense vest carrier was a medium and not large and actually fit... 0*

I ordered something from Safe Life Defense in December for Christmas. They took all my money, over $1000, but didn't say anything about it being late. They never sent the thing I ordered, even though it's been a whole month since I ordered it. I asked them what's up and they said there's a delay, but they never told me that before. They said it would be a few more weeks, but it's been over 2 months now and they haven't said anything to me. They still have my money.
Website stated 4-6 weeks for delivery. Ordered 22 August, now 19 October still hasn't shipped. Order #***. A primary reason I chose this company was for advertised shipping of 4-6 weeks. I finally called in begining of eighth week. Ordered a vest carrier and plate. Was told that the plate (or plate material) has not reached their location and they didn't know when they would receive. SLD offered to split order and ship vest last week. I agreed with split order. They didn't send the vest last week. Called today and was given world in turmoil COVID19 song and dance. The extra two weeks I gave before calling should have allowed for that. Meanwhile, I see on reviews there are some people happy they received their vest earlier than expected who ordered after I did. Could the vest have been sent sooner but they chose to wait until plate came in (the plate/plate material they have no idea when they will receive)? SLD never communicated any problems with my order or possible solutions to me. The only communication I received concerning order was the initial receipt of order. I've received tons of marketing messages since, but nothing about my order. SLD waited until I contacted them to offer a partial solution. Based off of other reviews I have seen with folks complaining about not receiving orders, is it an SLD business practice to wait until customer contacts them about a shipping/delivery problem until they are motivated to make it right? Today I was told vest will ship today or tomorrow. I asked for make-good of expedited shipping. Was told they have no way of doing that, which is false. It may cost them money and be a pain, but I also own a business and know it takes the steps of sending someone to grab the vest and having them run it down to the carriers and send it overnight. I've had to execute like make-goods myself on occasion for customers.

I been waitin' for my order from Safe Life Defense, LLC for almost 5 months now. I paid for it all upfront and they said it would take 10-12 weeks to get here. But it's been a real mess. I ordered a FRAS tactical vest in extra large short for $2118, order #***. They even added a concealment carrier, which was nice. But then they said it would take 14-16 weeks, and now they don't even know when it'll come. They blame it on the pandemic, but I don't care. I paid my money and I want my stuff. This is just terrible.

I called to ask and they said they were having manufacturing delays and the plates would ship out eventually but they couldn't say when. When I asked why their website still said shipping in "1 - 2 weeks," they didn't answer. When I said it was false advertising because they knew they weren't filling orders on time but wouldn't update their website, they didn't say anything. I said I wouldn't have bought the product if they were honest about shipping times being indefinite. I finally canceled my order and as of 07/19/2022 their website still says shipping in "1 - 2 weeks," which they seem unable to fulfill and be honest with their customers about.

I called them to ask how much money I would get back. I talked to a guy named Charles, and he said that they would give me back almost all of my money, except for $20 for route protection insurance. I said okay. But then they gave me back less money than they said they would, because they took out the cost of shipping both ways. I called them again and talked to Charles again, but he said he never said that they would only take out $20. I called them again and talked to someone else, but they put me on hold a lot and then said I had to pay for shipping both ways. That's not what they said before. They said they would only take out $20. I asked them to play back the voice call they recorded, but they couldn't. They said they couldn't do anything else for me. I want my shipping money back.

They said it was too dirty, but the pictures I took before sending it in were totally different from the ones they took. It looked like they rubbed dirt all over it and then told me I had to take it back. I wrote an honest review on their website, but they took it down. I even contacted CEO Nick G, but he didn't help me at all. This company only cares about selling products, not making things right for customers. They won't even talk to me now. Their policies don't say anything about anything other than returning items, and you can't even review their products. Think twice before buying from them.

They lied about how long it would take to get my OD Green Tactical Vest from Safelife defense. I ordered it on 11/12 and they said it would only take 1-2 weeks. But after 3 weeks it still wasn't here and they changed the lead time to 2-3 weeks. After 4 weeks I asked about it and they said it was still on back order. They offered me a black vest instead but I said no because they lied about the lead time. They had a lot of holiday sales after I ordered so it seems like they put me on the back burner. They blamed covid for the delay but it didn't stop them from having sales. I cancelled my order on 12/12. We'll see what happens.

I emailed them on 9/23 and they said it would ship in 6 weeks. I emailed them again on 11/16 and they said it would come in a couple of weeks. I emailed them again on 11/23 and they haven't responded. I know COVID-19 is causing delays, but waiting 5 months for a $2000 order is too long. I've been nice, but they need to step up their customer service game.

It's a scam, plain and simple. My boy, Steven M, bought some plates in early Feb (***) on 2.21.2022 (same place to send). They charged him 548.47 on his card, then they tried to steal another 548.47 from my wife's account, which is a completely different account number. They had it on file from when we bought stuff from them last year. They took six months to deliver our stuff last year, even though they promised two weeks. They also tried to back out of sending the free carrier they promised. They're just a bunch of liars. They don't answer calls or emails, and they steal from people on purpose. I've talked to dealers at shows who have had the same kind of trouble with them. This Ponzi Scheme is going to fall apart eventually, and a lot of people are going to lose their money. All I want is my money back. We're never going to shop there again, and neither is anyone in my family or my squad.

They only got certified after I bought my vest, so they should have made it clear that it wasn't certified yet. They need to be more honest and upfront about their products.
