My experience with Saks has been horrific to say the least. In the beginning of May 2023 I purchased MCM slides on sale and had to return them the day after they arrived because they were noticeably too small. Spoke with an employee that informed me I could repurchase the item with a guarantee of them honoring the sale price. Per policy I waited until the company received notification confirmation that the item was in transit for return and until they had the item in their possession. Replaced the order with an agent who told me I had to purchase the item for the new price and they would send my back a refund for the difference in pricing from my original order, and here is where the nightmare begins. I am currently in month 4 of trying to receive my refund still. Numerous phone calls 2 to 3 times a month speaking to supervisors and customer reps with run around after run around. Being told they have to put in a ticket for the team to look into the issue and see if it can be approved for me to even receive the refund. 4 months in, being told too many times to count to wait 14 days to see the charge on my bank statement for nothing to be there from Saks. Imagine going through this month after month to the date now? Being told by Saks representatives/supervisors my card is invalid when it is the same card used to purchase the item and that it used everyday to date. Informing Saks that the experience has led me to never want to shop with them again. No one has resolved this issue and I am constantly being told consistently to wait. Just was told to wait and there was nothing they could do until the first of September, I called back and someone told me there was an issue with a gift card they sent that needs to be cancelled still that they tried to issue me that I never asked for nor agreed to receive. At this point I informed numerous employees that I feel Saks has stolen my money and never plans to honor a customer. Please explain to me how and where and why does it take 4 months to receive a refund from a very well established business like Saks Fifth Avenue. The whole experience each time I have to keep calling leaves me in tears crying, frustrated and totally at a loss. No one is resolving this issue. I asked to just be sent a check and was told they could not do that, but its okay for them to keep my money and treat me like this. Stringing me along telling me the issue is going to be resolved and to just wait. Pretty soon its going to be another year and im still trying to receive my money. This experience you will never understand because it is not happening to you. Bad taste in my mouth from this company and no one seems to care. T
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund for pain and suffering and for the delay on your part.
