My experience with Saks has been horrific to say the least. In the beginning of May 2023 I purchased MCM slides on sale and had to return them the day after they arrived because they were noticeably too small. Spoke with an employee that informed me I could repurchase the item with a guarantee of them honoring the sale price. Per policy I waited until the...

Misleading website
Greetings -
My daughter sent me to your website to purchase a mother-of-the bride dress for her upcoming wedding. I have pasted the link below. No where on the website, does it say final sale. I purchased two dresses - different sizes, in the hope of one of them working. They did not fit right, and unfortunately need to return them. Going thru the process of the return, your app indicated they were final sale. When you look at the dress on your website - no where on the page does it show for the consumer, that it is a final sale. I showed my daughter, who is a webdesigner, who noted that the only time it appears, in very small font, is when you click on a size, which is unacceptable.
I talked to several customer service reps, and with one rep., I actually walked thru the steps to find where it said Final Sale, because when he (Eurel) opened the page, he did not see it was final sale either.
The importance of final sale should be clearly stated on the front page of the dress. Very very deceptive marketing. I wish to return

I filed a complaint a few minutes ago about two dresses I purchased, where the website page does not say final sale. I forgot to provide my order number, and the link to your website. It does not say anywhere on the website final sale.

Prada shoes
Good day,
I purchased Prada mules from Saks app in November. Screenshot attached. I leave in Virginia so it’s cold here during the winter. I got those shoes for summer.
Since I am currently 5 month pregnant, I don’t wear heals a lot. So I wore those shoes max 7 times during summer. Look how they look after wearing them, I swear God maximum, 7 times from car out to the restaurant.
The pictures attached.
I am concert about they authenticity, since I have another Prada sandals I ordered in the beginning of May from Prada website. They look like brand new, and I wear them at least once a week because they are super comfy. Please, advise me on the subject matter. I am very unhappy about that. When you are buying shoes for 1100$ you expect to have a good quality, it’s not a cheap Chinese shoes.
Desired outcome: Replacement or repair
SaksFifthAvenue.com is a scam
As you will see in many reviews for this business, SaksFifthAvenue.com is not a trustworthy business. I bought a pair of sneakers that were never delivered. Of course the company is refusing to refund what was paid because their partner with CDL deliveries on scamming their clients. The CDL driver took a picture of the package in my porch and stole the package! You read is correctly… the driver took the package after the picture.
Desired outcome: Have my money refunded
Quality control
I received a book (Great Escape Alps) on my order # [protected]. It was damaged before it was even shipped out. I have a note from the Work Room stating the protective plastic is torn, and the corners are smashed. 3
[protected]. Signed by K. Hillman 7/25. Circle one for shopper MRT. I called to talk to some one about it, they hung up on me. I started a chat with Pedro who ended my chat before I was done. I called Customer Service phone umber, and was cut off after being on hold for 8 minutes. I have never had this happen before. I don't think you are supposed to ship out damaged material. I would like to return it for credit.

Michele Watch
My Fiance' ordered a Michele watch for my birthday which was delivered May 7/8th 2023. I looked at the watch when received and all looked fine. I finally decided to wear the watch to a weekend function 2 months later in July. I took the watch out of the box and noticed that it was not working. Once I returned home I called Saks customer service on July 26 to advised of the issue of the watch not working. I spoke with Brenae T. who seemed to understand my concern and advised me to take it to Saks for repair and also advised me that should we issue me a 15% credit. I was advised to upload a picture to the email she sent me. I was not advised of a timeframe to do so. The next day July 27th I uploaded the picture of my watch. I did not receive any correspondence from Saks regarding my claim/credit. On July 30, I drove 1hr 8min to Birmingham Saks Fifth to have my watch repaired. I was advised that it would go out to a 3rd party repair and would be sent back to Saks then send to me. I have yet to receive any correspondence regarding that repair. On August 9th, I sent a follow-up email to Saks regarding my claim. On today August 10, I decided to call and follow-up. I spoke with a CS rep regarding the claim who advised that my case was closed the same day July 26 due to no documentation received. I advised the rep that I was not advised that I had to submit documentation the same day. The rep advised she saw the documentation I uploaded and would look into it. The rep returned and stated that her supervisor advised that the case was closed and the credit was also denied. I asked what was the reason for the denial and the rep advised that the supervisor did not state why. I then requested to speak with the supervisor for clarity. The Customer service supervisor Adaisha who refused to give a last name, initial or ID# pretty much reiterated what the rep initially told me. I asked her about the credit and she advised that the 30 day return policy had expired and I couldn't receive it. I told her I didn't see what the return policy had to do with the credit (I assumed was offered for my inconvenience) that was offered. After much unnecessary back and forth and a lot of policy reciting, I requested that the case be reopened and resubmitted. Reluctantly Adaisha did so. Now I have to wait for whatever the turnaround time is for that, which she could not provide me with a solid answer.
I am very disgusted by this entire process. I received an expensive gift which I was unable to wear and enjoy just to have to drive 1hr to have it repaired before I even had a change to damage it! Then refused a "courtesy" credit from a supervisor for no legitimate reason after being advised I would receive it. This ordeal has really put a bad taste in my mouth towards Saks as a whole!
Desired outcome: I would appreciate my watch repaired and to received the credit as promised.
Final sale return policy!
I am a first-time online buyer at Saks Fifth Avenue.
It was an item on sale, and it was available in my size, so I made the purchase. However, after receiving the item and trying on the shoes, I realized that the size was much larger than I had expected.
I went to the local department store to return the item, but one of the sales associates told me that final sale items cannot be returned. It was at that moment I realized the item I purchased was marked as final sale, which I was not aware of. However, I informed him that the size didn't fit and was way too big. I want to return it.
He couldn't help with the online purchase item, so he told me to call the online customer support.
so I called the online support, and I told her about my situation, explaining that I wanted to return the item. She asked me for all the information they needed and then made me wait. They gave me hope, saying that maybe there's a chance.
All I got in response from them is that 'final is final' and cannot be returned. Even if I speak to the supervisor, they will give the same answer.
I mentioned that buying things online is like gambling. Moreover, I make purchases thinking that the size I normally wear will fit, without trying it on first.
Honestly, different brands have slightly different sizing, so how can I know for sure?
How can you create a rule that makes it impossible to return a product, even though you can't try it on, by putting it on final sale? If other items are marked as final sale and non-returnable, I can understand that. However, for items like clothing that require trying on and fitting, I strongly believe they should never be marked as non-returnable.
I have been working in the fashion industry, and I understand to some extent that final sale items are non-returnable. However, from the perspective of an online shopper, I disagree with this practice.
I am truly unhappy with this. I don't want to make any more online purchases with such a service.
I believe that in order to prevent other buyers from experiencing the same issues as I did, improvements should be made to strengthen the advantages.
Desired outcome: please change the final sale return policy.
Terrible customer service
I ordered $540 worth of items from Saks, my first time purchasing from them. I specifically asked for a signature to be required at delivery because I am a nurse and work long hours. FedEx threw the package in plain sight on my porch without a signature required. When I reached our to Saks Fifth Avenue about this, they said there was nothing they could do, even if I asked for a signature to be required at delivery.
Desired outcome: Refund
Refused to refund for package not received
I purchased on July 12, 2023 Order #[protected] a Sandro Jacket and pants ($404.37). This was delivered by FEDEX on July 17, 2023. However, the delivery driver left the package outside the gate, which is facing the street (against specific instructions given to FEDEX and sign place on gate). SAKS and FEDEX agreed over the phone that I did not receive the...

My name is Joy Johnson-Benjamin, this correspondent is in regard’s to a purchase I made May 11, 2023. The item was a $1085..64 pair of Christian Louboutin shoes, that I wanted to wear to my best friend’s 50th birthday dinner. Needless to say I did not receive my purchase. I was notified the package would arrive May 17,2023, well the package came May 14,2023 Mother’s Day.
I was in Chicago Illinois that weekend. No one was home to receive my package. I informed Sax of the issue they launched an investigation just to tell me so sorry we can’t do anything for you. Contact your bank dispute it with them. I did just that my bank issued a credit but now two months later my bank has reversed the credit. There was a picture where this incompetent delivery driver sat the package on the top step of my porch in plain view of any porch pirate.
I’m truly disappointed in Sax for not requiring a signature on such a high ticket item, and the fact that I’m being made to feel discriminated towards due to my zip code It’s sad enough that when shopping at Sax in Beachwood Ohio there are armed officers and attack dogs throughout the store, like this is Jim Crow South 1960. Maybe if my name was Karen Smith or my zip code was 90210 I would have been issued a refund and some respect.

Hello,
I ordered these expensive, Valentino flip flops. They arrived 7/5/2023. Today is 7/21/2023. I have worn them only 3 times and they are peeling. These were on sale at $200. Did I receive a defective pair? Is there any way your store can replace them? They were super expensive to be so worn out so quickly. Below is a picture of how badly they peeled after only wearing them 3 times.
Desired outcome: Please send me a new pair of these shoes.
Veronica Beard pant
They sent me a pair of pants that did not match the description which was my reason for purchase. The pants looked like someone used a saw to cut them. Whoever that packed them did not inspect before packing. I have been battling to get my refund on those pants. Customer service offering me 15% on what I paid 100% for? Instead of paying me 115% for not treating me right. Folks their old name might still be there but not sure of the class.
Service on the phone
On Saturday July 8, I called Saks Fifth twice, Fist time I called I received a good customer service but the second time, I requested a call back since there was a long wait and someone named Gretchen called me around 5:16 pm, Los Angeles time. She had no desire to help and gave me all excuses to transfer me to the store despite the fact that it was an online order then I ask for her manager to report her, after 45 minutes Alex came to the phone and he was so grumpy and unhelpful and when I asked him to repeat the style of my order, he hang up on me. These two people donot want help customers and affect the service and customers experience. It looks like they were comfortable with poor service and got away with that.
Blaming Me for Their Error
Saks sent me the wrong version of an item. To boot, it was sent crumbled up in a little wrinkled ball, like a used garment.
I returned it the same day, noting that it was not as described.
They are now shipping it back to me. They are claiming that I removed the size tags. Why would I remove the size tags from a not-as-pictured garment that I received wadded up like a little ball of garbage? Makes no sense.
I just want them to take the item back and give me a refund. Their error, not mine.
Very disappointing!
Desired outcome: Refund!
They have changed their tune -- it is no longer that I removed the size tags -- it is that they never sold the item that they shipped me. Bizarre! Their inventory control system is clearly deficient.
Customer for 20+ years -- never again. SSENSE, Nordstrom, and others are just handling themselves categorically better. Saks is on the decline, big time. :(
Yep! Battling the same issue. They do not inspect their item before shipping!
Customer service
I contacted Saks through chat. It took three times to get a response. The total time spent was around 10 minutes. When I did receive a person, I was told that because I did not enter the FREESHIP code, I would not be eligible for a refund. I explained that I have vision problems and did not see the information (I basically see double when print is very small.) I was effectively told that was not their fault. I believe that the ADA would have issue with this. I am sure I am not alone. When I mentioned this, I was told "you are going to far" and then the chat was abruptly ended.
When I called the support line at 9:53am EST, I was told that to connect to a supervisor, I would be put on hold for up to an hour as that person was at lunch. When I asked for the name of the supervisor, I was told that they "didn't know". I asked for a call back. I was told that my only option was to wait on hold for an hour.
If Saks was one of those brands with just consonants in its name at Amazon or AliExpress, I might be like, okay. Shady practices, very substandard customer service. You might expect that quality of response. Saks? Competing with Neiman Marcus and Nordstom?

I ordered items online, and waited it. But it was never delivered. I checked my email and the delivery company posted it was delivered, so I went down to get it. But the photo shows that delivery man dropped front of the building which is technically street. When I went down, it wasn't there. It was only 30 min. apart. Not sure why I need to pay for items that I didn't even receive.
Desired outcome: Please refund or credit . Investigate the delivery man .
Return policy #[protected]
I purchased 2 t-shirts and a pair of jeans for my son who is in the US Navy and was not ashore at the time. When he returned home we discovered that he could not fit 1 of the shirts or the jeans. So, I packaged the items and went back to the website to initiate a return (#[protected]). All went well and the items were returned. However, when I returned from the holiday weekend I was surprised to see that you had shipped the items back and said they were past the 30-day return deadline. Granted I should have paid attention to your return policy but figured it would not be an issue since I make these kinds of purchases all of the time from other big name brand stores and have never had this issue if the return was a little past the deadline. I can understand it's not possible to get a refund, but I figured at least I would be able to get some sort of online store credit, etc. However, I called customer service and told me there was nothing that could be done to help me so I guess I'm just out of my hard earned $180. May not be a lot for a luxury brand of your size but it has soured me on every purchasing anything from Saks 5th Avenue ever again.
Desired outcome: I would at least like to be able to return the items for an online store credit as there are many other items I know he would love. My email is h.howard.[protected]@hotmail.com if there is anything that can be done to help.

I ordered a bottle of cologne from you totaling $410. You allow shipping to PO Boxes so that's where I had it sent. To my PO Box. I "specifically" do this because I have had three (3) previous packages stolen from in front of my door. When I order from Neiman Marcus, I've had to give them my mother's address because they wont deliver to a PO Box, but they call and tell you that. I was going to start ordering all my high end items from your company, but now I feel I cant trust you because you sent my order to my home address. The same address that package thieves have stolen from me 3 times prior. It sat out in front of my door for a day. Yes, Luckily it wasn't taken this time, but it's the principal! You DONT change the delivery address without discussing it with the person who placed the order. Was if I was out of town, or the package was taken. Then you would be saying it was delivered and I would be saying it wasn't. I've never had a delivery address just changed before without me knowing. Its just plain unacceptable for this to happen.
