oscar mayer’s chopped ham
Bought a packet of oscars Mayer's. Cooked ham. On 12/15/2018. Didn't open right away. But later in the day. My kids were making sandwiches and. They didn't mention anything. Until I walked in the kitchen and saw the slices that have some sort of mold or some sort of yellow spots which do not look safe. And it is not the first time. The first time was like 2...

Opened the new box and pulled the first one out and go to give it to my wife and as she opened the single one it had the bottom half missing. We will see how the next 5 of them are. But she was a little upset by this and would like to see it resolved as soon as possible. Maybe a refund and or an exchange for a new box of these. Can you please get back to me on my phone. tipton grove yellow cling sliced peaches
Tipton Grove sliced peaches have always been one of our favorite fruits, however, in the last month we have opened at least 3-4 cans that were obviously spoiled. I would have taken them back, but too far to travel, and how would I prove that I had just opened them? The "best used by" date on each can has been Dec 2020. The appearance of the can does not at all indicate that it was not sealed properly, so I do not have any reason that the product should have been spoiled. Thank you for your attention to this problem.
fruity diamonds
I open new box of fruity diamonds for my autistic son and he was schoking on a big hard item that was in the bus the size of a rock and extremely hard we found more then one and I believe this major issue my son could had been extremely hurt if we did not act fast to help him I believe this isssue needs to be looked at ASAP as other parents and children can come across this issue again
cleanliness of store and freshness of product
I have lived in Naples Florida since 2005 and was lucky to have a Save A Lot within a half mile of us. I shopped there frequently for meats, veggies and miscellaneous items. I am sorry to say that I am NO LONGER going to shop there. It is filthy. The carts are black and dirty and the store needs a good cleaning. If you go into the produce area you are swarmed by gnats! "Busy" season is just now getting started in this resort area and I am sure that the state of the store will turn away many likely shoppers. Could you please email me as to what your strategy is to be on this problem.

table cleaning in the front of store
Hi, I went into a Sava lot store and the table where people place their food
looked like it had a stain or something on it. So I was just wondering if they
ever clean those tables in the front of the store where people place their
food, water meat chicken etc. because I believe they should sanitize
those tables before and after the store opens and closes.
I believe this should be addressed at all Sava lot stores
for safety procedures and cleanliness for public safety.
tyson chicken legs
Today i bought a package of raw tyson chicken legs from the save alot in covington ky on madison ave. When i got home and opened the chicken to cook it it smelled extermely nasty. It was clearly bad chicken and when i tried to contact the store no one answered the phone, all i am trying to do is get my money back and let them know that they have old nasty chicken on their shelves so that someone doesnt end up getting sick because of it.
security guard behavior
Hello I am a weekly customer at the store on Lafayette St. in Saint Louis, MO. I am a huge fan of this store, especially this location. I was in the store checking out when a transgendered customer walked out after being rung up. They did nothing to cause a scene or problem. The security guard proceeded to approach the cashier and he spent 5+ minutes ridiculing the transgendered person after they'd left, well within earshot of the rest of the customers. I felt the other customers, as well as the cashier felt uncomfortable at best with what the guard was saying. This was an extremely disappointing experience because I really think the staff at this location is superb. This security guard was working around 3:00 on Saturday Oct 20. He was a tall white male with glasses. I did not say anything in order to avoid causing a bigger scene, and because I felt uncomfortable because I thought he had a taser. I just wanted to write in to make sure that someone knew the prejudice this worker displayed so openly.
meat department
I'm am complaining about the save a lot in Columbia Kentucky I want to start off saying that te store as a whole is not to bad. But the older guy that is subpost to be in charge of the meat are is a nasty guy you never see him working just standing around he leaves meat in the case that is out of date so you got to watch that you can here him talking nasty things about women and when he reaches down to pick up something like on a rare occasion you see the crack of his but and that's just nasty he tests the guy that works with him like crap you always see that poor guy running around trying to get things done and his so called boss takes off whenever he wants acts like a baby if someone disagrees with him and is just a right out jerk you would think that save a lot would see that and all the help he has gone threw since he's been there but no because he's so called father in law works for them to and is one of the main guys he can get buy with anything he wants if the put a camera in there and not tell him about it they would see how lazy and nasty he is also this is like the second time I have said something but yet nothing will ever get done he will continue to work there and get by with the same stuff he has since day one if I was one of the bosses I'm sorry but he would have been gone along time ago so I'm saying something needs to be done now not later
I am complaining about working at save a lot
My boss is very unprofessional, there was somethings about the job that was off and I should have noticed it during the interview but I wanted a job so much I ignored it, I shouldnt have
First, during my interview nothing was really discussed except when they wanted me to work
I dont know how much I'm being paid
I didnt know how we were being paid( bi weekly or weekly)
I didnt get a schedule
I didnt get a time card
I didnt get a work shirt
I didnt get a box cutter
I wasnt told to sign a w2 form and when I asked about it it seemed that the manager was upset because I kept asking about it, he told me to wait until the next day when I worked my first shift. My second shift he wasnt there
On my third shift I asked him about it and he seemed bothered about me asking and made someone else do it.
They didnt really explain anything to me
And I found out today through indeed that the pay is only like 9$ an hour when it says 10.10 I haven been working there long but I hate it its a horrible place to work.
What I wrote about save a lot

product switch
I just returned from the Save A Lot located in Cincinnati on Hamilton Ave appx 2:30 PM October 15th. I wanted to buy the sirloin porkchops family pack that were advertised on sale for $1.29 lb. The sale sign was up but there were no chops in stock. There were plenty of other sirloin chops in the family packs that were $1.00 or more higher. There was no area near the sign, to restock the ones on sale, but the entire area near the sign had been newly restocked with more expensive packages, so I tend to think this was a bait and switch tactic since the sale sign was still up and no stock. This happen twice before with my shopping for ribeye steaks, on sale, and ribs, during previous visits.. The porkchop sale is good through tomorrow and since it is only before 3pm the day before the sale ends, plus this evening's shopper hours, I find it very disappointing that there was no stock, or at least a change of the sign stating "out of stock" instead of filling up the bin with other more expensive meats. Not happy with this pattern of selling. Sincerely, West Davis 1812 Compton Rd Apt 6. Cincinnati Ohio 45231. ph [protected].
Hire
I would give them a negative 100... How you gone to fire people because if performance skill. Employee (angelle davis) got fire for stealing and 3 months later after she paid save alot back for stealing they rehire her. 🤔. That's discrimination. Because you are not to rehire someone for lack of performance but you can hire someone who steals... Never work for them this is an evil, racist company I hope I become big one day and but this company out...
They only hire people that stealssss
cashier
I went to save-a-lot on Sunday, October 7, 2018 @ 8:47 pm. It was posted on the outside of the store that they were closing @ 9pm. I hurried inside to get the few items I set out to get. When I got to the check out there was no one there. So I yelled out "hello". A short, racially ambiguous woman appears & said, "I thought my manager locked the door." I looked @ my phone & I said, "but it's only 8:53." She says, "the door should be locked". So I said, "I walked in behind another guy. How y'all gone close before the time posted?" She said, "well it's almost 9." I didn't appreciate her getting smart. If the store is supposed to close @ 9pm, I don't expect it to close a minute earlier than 9 pm!
unethical behavior by management
Thursday September 27th, 2018
Arbutus, Maryland, 21227
The new manager was rude and condescending to a customer who was seeking employment. Her attitude was completely unfriendly and unprofessional. She compared one employee to others. Until this issue is resolved, I no longer plan to shop here or at ANY location. I will much rather go to another store that knows how to RESPECT human beings with dignity and compassion, worthy of doing business with.
employee
There's a female save a lot employer by the name of tameek Reed
She would give you free groceries for a really small fee
She would use a kids candy bracelet hidden beneath her shirt short sleeve and scan the items and somehow void it from the register.
If a person haven't dealt with her on this scam in awhile, she then takes it personal and bars you from the market.
I have witnessed her being violent with customers in the parking lot.
And witnessed her be very unruly with customers
I dont understand how she still have a job
management
I am a frequent shopper of the save a lot of Manchester, CT. I noticed about 6 months ago I believe, they have undergone some new management. The new store manager, he's tall, skinny guy and always wears a hat.. the way he speaks to his employees really shocks me. How does he still have a job with the way he speaks to all the young ladies in there? How do you allow someone to manage a store talking to women that way? He's overly sarcastic. Even with the customers. It's ridiculous. That's a shame how a company will condone that. Not to mention that short bald guy who walks around like he hates the world and doesn't want to be bothered with customers. Shame you don't have the tall blonde lady there anymore..
time for a wake up call 846
Store is full of mold, expired product, and empty shelves. The assistant manager, [name removed], kicked a hole in wall during tantrum. The store manager [name removed]screams at employees in front of customers and belittles them. They both forge sweep logs and temp checks. [name removed]schedules employees against availability and makes last minute changes to the schedule after posting it which causes employees to get points against them on the new system. the DM [name removed]is threatening employees' jobs to protect managers when complaints are made. She calls them liars and says they are "fabricating stories" and always makes assumptions and blames one specific associate. The DM and HR rep [name removed]mocked an employee during a questioning turned interrogation and would not help resolve any further issues the employee had. The managers [name removed]and [name removed]bully the other manager [name removed]and do not inform him of anything going on in the store to make him look clueless and unprofessional. They allowed an employee to keep her job after harassing and stalking two other employees, posting about them on social media, and creating fights inside of Save A Lot. This employee has threatened customers, tried recently to assault a customer who allegedly threw her money at the clerk because she's rude. The managers threatened the other employees jobs if they went to HR for help. They are sweeping issues under the rug and it's time to uncover them all. The break room is disgusting and they have no standard to keep it clean, bathrooms are worse and toilet paper is always empty. They will punish clerks who don't have sick time for calling out but allow a shift leader to call out and use sick time to go on dates. HR forced an employee to use her sick time so she wouldn't have to work with the manager who was making fat jokes about her and she felt uncomfortable and then HR and the DM accused the employee who came forward with the complaint about the joke of being a liar. The work environment has become hostile and several associates are on the verge of quitting because of the discrimination and harassment. The hours are not nearly fairly distributed (see photo of most current schedule). One employee, has been removed from the schedule but has not been fired, he was told they had no hours for him. What?! They make us use our sick, personal, and vacation time to cover hours in the store to save on payroll. It's ridiculous and insulting. The store manager was finally forced into closing shifts after almost a year with only TWO closing shifts, both the night before inventory. We have NO ACCESS to employee handbooks and no one seems to know how to get any. They will not give us numbers for corporate to get help because HR isn't helping. Time to rethink who you let manage your stores and manage your managers. The only manager worth keeping is [name removed], who never stops working, is honest, and actually cares about his work. He's a great worker and they take advantage of and disrespect him.
Why is there nowhere to actually edit an original posting?
employee attitude
The girl in the customer service area is rude! She has absolutely no people skills. She took my request and then proceeded to have a 10 minute conversation with another employee before processing my transaction. This store is terrible when it comes to employee attitude. I do not want their manager to contact me either. Hes just as rude as they r. You can contact me via email at [protected]@yahoo.com for further communication.
Thank you
harassment false informant

pork roast
I recently purchased a 7lb pork roast at the Inverness, FL store. It was a beautiful roast but when I opened the package and turned it over, I found the skin hidden on the bottom. I had to dispose of over a pound of weight that I paid for.
I have really enjoyed the meats from this store. I have never seen the skin on any roast from any store ever. I feel this was deceptively done to add extra weight for which I paid. Shame on you, Save a Lot.
