I bought a used car from them
I bought a used car from them. I live in ***, and had to trust their description. Part of the deal was for them to transport it up to me. They brought it up, and the car + paperwork was as good as promised. 100%. Buying a car based on photos and a salesman's description is touchy, but they performed exactly as promised, and the car was even a little better than described. No problems at all.
Their service is terrible
Their service is terrible. The manager told me that my Honda CRV was supposed to come with two key fobs, but it only came with one. They promised to give me the other one for free, but I've been dealing with them for two months now and they still haven't given it to me. Every time I call, it seems like nobody knows what's going on and they hardly ever answer their phones. They just keep giving me the runaround. I still haven't received my car fob.
I wrote a review 'bout Schaller last week 'cause they told me 'bout the O rings leakin' on my Honda Pilot
I wrote a review 'bout Schaller last week 'cause they told me 'bout the O rings leakin' on my Honda Pilot. They said they sent me a video showin' where the leak was. But that ain't true. I never got anythin' from 'em. This week, I had my truck checked by a company that's good with fixin' engines, we've used 'em before. And guess what? No leak at all! So, don't trust these folks, I'm tellin' ya. And Schaller, I really wanna see that video y'all were supposed to send me.
I went to Schaller Honda Service Center in New Britain, CT for a warranty transmission software update
I went to Schaller Honda Service Center in New Britain, CT for a warranty transmission software update. Thirty minutes later, I got a call from Joshua G the service writer. He said that during the transmission inspection, the mechanic found a crack in my transmission pan. They said I needed to replace the pan and also get a transmission fluid service because most of the fluid had leaked out from the cracked pan. The total cost would be around 700 dollars. At first, I agreed to the work order, but then I changed my mind and took my car to my regular mechanic. He put my car on a lift and found a chip, not a crack, on the transmission pan (I have photos). Also, the transmission fluid was full. I went back to Schaller Honda Service Station and spoke with the Service Manager, Chris, and showed him the photo of the transmission pan. Chris wanted to put it on a lift to dispute my mechanic's findings, but I declined. I have bought 4 cars from Schaller dealerships in the past 20 years, and I'm very disappointed with how I was treated. If I hadn't gotten a second opinion, I would have wasted 700 dollars on an unnecessary repair. My advice is, if you go to Schaller Honda Service Center in New Britain, CT for a car repair, get a second opinion.

I was supposed to get my down payment back
I was supposed to get my down payment back. They told me to trade in my car for a new one and said I would be approved. They sold me the car and told me I was approved. I never got to drive the car. They came to my home and took the car, promising to give me my down payment and car back. But now I have nothing. I'm pretty sure what they did wasn't legal.
I bought a new used car from this dealership
I bought a new used car from this dealership. It hasn't even been 72 hours and the car isn't in good condition. I feel like the salesmen (Mario C) have been taking advantage of me. He has been lying and making false promises for almost three weeks now. He even used bad language towards me and told me to leave his store.
When I bought the car from Schaller Auto World Incorporated, they promised to fix a problem with the windows
When I bought the car from Schaller Auto World Incorporated, they promised to fix a problem with the windows. I've been calling them repeatedly, and Giovanni keeps telling me that the technician who fixes the windows only works on specific days. He said they would call me back to schedule a time for the repair, but it's been 9 months and I still haven't received any calls or had the issue resolved.

I bought a car from Schaller Honda in August
I bought a car from Schaller Honda in August . The service was okay. I financed it through a company called *** (phone ***) and paid it off completely on October 16. However, I still haven't received my Title. I spoke to Frank W from Honda once in December . He found a mistake in the paperwork and hasn't returned my multiple calls since then. I also talked to Selly P (?) from the Title department. I called Honda Finance and spoke to Andre P., but there has been no response and no results. Please help me resolve this issue. Thank you.
I bought a car from Schaller Auto World Incorporated and they asked me if I wanted to keep the same license plates
I bought a car from Schaller Auto World Incorporated and they asked me if I wanted to keep the same license plates. I said yes, but I ended up waiting for almost a month to receive the registration, only to find out that I was given new plates instead. Because I didn't return the old plates, my insurance company added the new car and charged me an extra $315.00 on my policy. I have been calling them for the past two months to get my money back, but all they give me are excuses. I even sent them proof of the charges, as they requested, but still, all I get are excuses.
I financed my car 5 years ago and wanted to trade it in for another one
I financed my car 5 years ago and wanted to trade it in for another one. They refused to accept my trade-in and convinced me to get a second car. I gave a deposit and left with no car. The next day, I called to cancel, but the manager Dave was off and nobody else could help me. I had to wait until the next day to speak to Dave and ask him about the details of which bank had the best interest rate. He refused to give me the information and said I couldn't cancel; I had to pick up the car. This is the shadiest place I've ever seen, especially with sales manager Dave at Schaller Imports. They told me they would check with one bank, but I received a notification that it was actually 10 banks, and they refused to tell me what I got accepted for. I will never go back to Schaller again and will never recommend this horrible place.
I've been a Schaller customer for a long time, but that won't be the case anymore after my last transaction
I've been a Schaller customer for a long time, but that won't be the case anymore after my last transaction. I traded in my vehicle to Schaller *** in *** last August 2022 and realized I left my *** sunglasses in the vehicle. I contacted the dealership and they said they'd look into it. After a month of no communication, I decided to stop by and talk to the sales manager, Dave W. He seemed upset that I was there and said he would get back to me after talking to his boss. It's now the last day of October and I still haven't heard anything. After being given the runaround for so long, I reached out to the general manager, Vince G, to try and fix this situation. While he did respond quickly, he told me that if I "can't find them anywhere else," I should just "consider them lost." What a slap in the face! I won't find them anywhere else because I physically SAW them in the vehicle at the dealership but forgot to take them out, and someone at this place stole them. I won't just consider them lost, this is theft! It's a big difference from simply losing them.
About 2.5 months ago, I brought my 2019 car with 37k miles in for a diagnosis at Schaller Auto World Incorporated
About 2.5 months ago, I brought my 2019 car with 37k miles in for a diagnosis at Schaller Auto World Incorporated. It's still there, and I'm quite frustrated. They denied my warranty claim simply because I had a tune installed. However, according to THEIR owner's manual, a modification or aftermarket part doesn't void the warranty unless it's proven to have caused the specific failure. Subaru even took apart my car at their expense and couldn't find any evidence linking the failure to the aftermarket parts or the tune directly. Yet, they still denied my claim, even though this issue is well-known and affects even stock cars for many years. This denial is actually against federal law, which makes it even more frustrating. I can't understand why they bothered to take it apart in the first place if they were going to deny the claim anyway! Now they want me to pick up the vehicle and the engine separately because everything is still apart. No other auto shop wants to touch this car either. Throughout the whole process, communication has been almost non-existent. Even when I tried reaching out about once a week, it was difficult to get a response. I haven't even signed a repair order, even though I offered to do so when I dropped off the car. I asked to be called when the vehicle was diagnosed, but there was silence. I asked to be called when it was torn down, but still silence. I asked to be called when Subaru sent an adjuster, but again, silence. I even requested a call from the service manager, but guess what? More silence. The advisor I've been dealing with hasn't been helpful at all. I asked to be switched to someone else who could provide answers, but that didn't happen. Just last Friday, I finally received an inflated repair estimate, and when I asked for the labor guide they used, she refused to give it to me because she knows it's inflated.
On 5/7/22, my car, a 2017 ***, got towed to Schaller Auto Body after a crash
On 5/7/22, my car, a 2017 ***, got towed to Schaller Auto Body after a crash. I went to pick it up multiple times, but it kept having problems every time. So, on the fourth visit, I decided to bring it home because I didn't want to keep leaving work and driving back and forth just to find out that it was still damaged or had new damages that weren't there before they got my car. On the day I finally drove it home (fourth visit), I took some pictures of the issues and told Schaller that I wanted them fixed. I also mentioned that I didn't want to leave it overnight because it would get more problems when left there. I drove it from the shop on 7/6/22. Me and my insurance company have been trying to get this sorted out. I recently left a voicemail for Ronnie last Friday and sent another email through their website earlier last week, but I haven't gotten a response. I also tried to get a response through emails on 7/26, 8/8 (separate email conversation), 9/21, 10/6, 10/20, and today 11/1. On 7/26, I sent them the pictures of the damage that was still there when I picked up my car on 7/6. The repairs that still need to be done are: damage to the driver side rear door, damage to the rear door guard, marks above the glove compartment, glue on the inside of the rear passenger door, dirt on the roof near the controls, and a scratch on the trunk. The last time they contacted me was on 9/21, saying that they were waiting for a part to arrive. My insurance paid over $10k for the repairs, and I expected to get my car back in the same condition it was in before the accident. Unfortunately, that's not what happened.
I took my 2007 car to Schaller Auto for a factory recall on 10/31/22
I took my 2007 car to Schaller Auto for a factory recall on 10/31/22. They performed the recommended procedure. The next morning, I found new damage on the driver's side near the rear tire, which wasn't there before the service. The area was cracked and folded, close to the lifting point. I returned to the dealer, and the service director, Chris, had it inspected. They claimed the damage was old and denied causing it, noting they lift cars by the frame. They suggested I might not have noticed it before. I requested the inspection video promised via text, but never received it. Chris later said no video was made. The general manager, Russ, dismissed my concerns due to the car's age and rust, refusing to address the damage and abruptly ending our conversation.
