I was scrolling through my bank statement and discovered a charge for $29.95 on December 28, 2010. I had never ordered or authorized any one to take $29.95 or any money from my account.

I have tried to contact scoresense to return my money to no avail. I am tired of these things happening. I have had subscriptions to magazines with money taken from my account despite the fact that I had never ordered any magazines. If you don't check your account, these people get away with it. It's so frustrating.

how is this place allowed to stay in business it happened to me . i was looking for a rent to own home, paid $1.00 for the list, they took the dollar than $29.95
. when i called for a refund it was denied called back complained again and was denied again.is there something legal that can be done for non-discloser.

Same thing happened to me. FREE credit check! Not free, charged me two times, once in march and again in April. The did refund me for April, but will not return my money for march. This is not right. I'm a senior citizen and need this money to live on. Please, if anyone knows where I can report this problem, let me know.

I paid $1.00 for a credit report. Next thing I know $29.95 is taken from my bank acct. I am a senior citizen and not good with computers so I did not understand what was happening. I called and cancelled and asked for a refund. The girl did not understand my money situation as she kept trying to sell me things. My refund request was 7 days after my $1.00 was deposited. I just got an e-mail that my request was rejected
. They seem to have no feelings for us older people with very limited income. I promise I will spread the word.

I called and cancelled my account with this company in January/February 2014 time frame. It is now
April 2014 and they have once again charged my account $29.95.

Of course they say they had never gotten any cancellation notice from me, According to Justin from the Mason City office, he will put in a cancellation for my account today April 26 2014 at approx 12:00. He is also requesting a refund, which I will never get... The cancellation number I was given this time is 8818140.

HOW MANYTIMES DOES THE CUSTOMER HAVE TO CANCEL THE ACCOUNT BEFORE THIS COMPANY ACTUALLY CANCELS IT"...? NOT TO MENTION LINING THERE POCKETS AT $29.95 A MONTH... IT'S GETTING A LITTLE TOO PRICY FOR A 70 YEAR OLD WOMEN WHO LIVES ON SOCIAL SECURIY!

That looks like a very thoughtful form letter with lots of feeling. "We look forward to assisting you". I got the same letter when I asked for my money back due to a misunderstanding. I called and got pretty much the same answer as every one. Sorry, its not our fault you were two minutes late canceling your account. Refund REJECTED. Anyone got any ideas for some payback?

When I got my "free" credit report from Kredit Karma, I ended up with a $1.50 charge on my credit card. Then I had a $29.95 charge on my credit card, one month later. I called and found out I had to call and cancel that service by a certain date. So I swallowed the $29.95, and canceled on the date of the phone call. It seems that they extended the service another 30 days, and I was to cancel once again by a certain date, which of course I did not, and I became a little upset. I told them I wanted it canceled, and the $29.95 put back in my account. The girl, Portia, tried to sell me a number of other products, but finally accepted that all I wanted to do was cancel, and have the $29.95 refunded. Instead, I received the following email today.

I didn't authorize the $29.95 fee either. I called and did what the score sense worker said but the supervisor would not contact the refund dept directly even after stating I wanted it noted I will dispute and that it's a scam and that I will report to BBB as a scam.

Scoresense just fraudulently charged my credit card also. The number given on the charge is no longer valid and you cannot get through to these crooks!

Scoresense is one of those shady "free credit report" sites that require you to sign up for a subscription service after the grace period is up. Realize that you accept the terms of this when you accept the terms and conditions upon opening an account and that this site only gives you a SEVEN DAY GRACE PERIOD (unlike some others that offer 12 or even one month to terminate without additional charge). Also realize that there is a $1 initial fee for the "free credit report".

That being said there is presently a loop hole in their "terms and conditions agreement" that will allow you to get out of the first months' billing if you act quickly. Item 4. states, "4. How To Cancel Your Enrollment in Subscription Services
You may terminate your enrollment in Subscription Services at any time by calling us at the toll free number that appears on the applicable Site and on the emails that you receive from us." Note that it clearly states "at any time" and that when you look on the site or emails their call center has limited hours; thereby, breaching their "any time" clause. If you can honestly say you put in a good faith effort to cancel your contract within the grace period...but could not do to the fact that they were closed...they will be forced to issue you a credit...

I have been using scoresense and for the pass two month I tried to go on the website to check my credit report. I could not get on the website, a error kept coming up saying that I was using the wrong email address.So I didn't renew the services. So today I call customer services and see could they help me with my log in they tell me that there is nothing they can do until I pay my membership. Scoresense is a rip off they have taken money out of my account for the pass ten month, and now they wouldn't fix the error

I just have a question for all of you, when I go to their website, it says it is a 7 day trial and after that they will charge the monthly amount of 29.95, , , , now I have enter many trials on the internet but I make sure that I call to cancel before they charge me, also I read the agreements and clearly says it in the agreements that is a 7 day trial, , , so I don't understand why you guys say they are a scam, their agreements and time of the trial are clearly stated it on their website, , , for them to have your information and even your credit card you had to agreed to the terms and conditions and fill out, , , their form for them to have your information, , , , , , I know of this but I signed up many many times for things on the internet and never even bother to look up their terms and conditions, , , because USA want to have fast food and everything fast people in America don't take the time to read, , , , , lets be honest here please, , , , I want to hear just one of the above that complaint, , , did you read the terms and conditions of what you were agreeing too? I bet cha NO.

I called the canceled
dept to tell them to stop taken money from my account i got a guy who couldnt speak much english I told him to quit taken money out of my account so he asked me for my information he said he couldnt find my account except back 2 years ago.i told him y am i looking at my bank statement that says u took money out then.he kept arguing with me then he wanted me to send my bank statemnt to them i told him no way am I sending you my bank statemnt..he just kept aruing with me over the phone so I hung up on him

I happen to check my credit card statement this month and found a charge from Scoresense for $29.95.After my investigation I found out that the charges have been reoccurring monthly charges for the past 24 months! For a total of $718.80! This is a scam and a USA COMPANY creating FRAD TO INNOCENT HONEST HARD WORKING AMERICAN CITIZENS.This MUST STOP and companies/owners need to be brought to justice!

I caneled my membership in July and this month is October they still taking out 29.95. I called them they said oh u never cancelled it. I said ### I did in July then they said they have to ask if I will get my money refund of course not. I wrote them nasty emailed. They are ripped off company.

Add me to the list of people being scammed. I am also an unknowing sucker who asked for a free credit report and found a charge of $29.95 on a credit card. I called their number and tried for more than 10 minutes to cancel with no luck. They graciously agreed to give me a month of free service but refused to cancel. Now I keep calling and will go to the BBB.
