I accepted their complimentary two bags for $10 dollars, and received 3 bags 2 weeks later, and two weeks after that ANOTHER 2 bags! When the fourth shipment arrived, I sent it back unopened. That was October. Everytime I call asking where is my refund, I get a different answer. Their coffee is nothing special for the price. The beans are dry and brown, not oily and black, as good coffee beans should look. My neighborhood store carries better beans. Our complaints should be located right under their online ads! I feel for the next sucker that gives them any money!

I also ordered for the 5 for $5 deal and got ripped off. In this economy they should be ashamed of themselves. If their advertisement is obviously deceptive they should change it. Scam artists.

I ordered specialty coffee from this company after seeing their advertisement on Facebook.com. When I signed up to receive coffee each month, I fully expected to be able to visit their web site and update or make changes in my account...you can't do that. Even though they have your name, email address, mailing address, phone number and credit card info, you cannot view your account personally. I spoke with two Brian's and one Beverly today concerning this matter, and I decided to cancel my account immediately. Beverly said that she had emailed a cancellation email to my email address while I was on the phone with her...two hours later, it still had not come. I have notified Facebook and my credit card company of this situation. Lesson learned...Buyer beware!

I ordered their $5 promo, never received it and they charged me $25 for it plus 2 more times at $38.95 per charge. They argued giving a refund and their customer service personnel are rude.

I signed up for the Introductory Offer of $25 for 2 bags (12oz. each) of coffee, and 4 mugs. The website claimed it's a monthly program. However, on day one, I was billed for the introductory offer plus first month shipment of $38.95. And then one week later, I am billed again for another $38.95. When I called the representative, they claimed I have signed up for a weekly program. The company is apparently engaging in a highly misleading practice and ripping off consumers.

I was ripped off by Seattle coffee direct and emailed Jeff Berman who responded to your email. I agreed to an initial 25.00 but since then I was charged 3 more times @ 38.95. I talked to their representative Brian and he told me he would refund the money but several weeks have passed and no refund. I have filed a complaint with the BBB.

SCAMMERS AND CROOKS!
DO NOT SIGN-UP FOR ANY OF THEIR PROMOTIONS—DO NOT BUY THEIR COFFEE, MUGS, GRINDERS, ETC!
The first order was billed at $25.00 --this amount bought 2 coffee mugs, 2 metal coffee mugs and 2 bags (12 oz. each) of flavored coffee and no grinder which was offered in the sign-up order. I received my order quickly and then 2 days later on a Friday received more and checked my account and saw that they charged me $38.95 using the name “Bellezza Coffee” on the charge. They said if I returned the package (not the coffee) un-opened then they would refund me and not charge for shipping—I opened it to find out what or why it was sent so soon…so now I re-taped package and will try to put “return to sender” and take it to the post office. I have to now report to my bank and stop all payments from these crooks.

Perhaps a class-action suit could put these a$$holes out of business. They are defrauding consumers by not disclosing their program terms up front and securing acceptance of these terms. I signed up for a $5 promotion, I have been charged $25, and before I have even received the promotional shipment, they are trying to charge me ANOTHER $38.95. I'm calling my bank to refuse all unauthorized charges.

I to have been scamed by these crooks! I thought great! Coffee to try for $5! What a crock! $159.85 later in charges on my account and been told they would reverse the charges and stop taking money from my account, they took it again yesterday! I am now going to the bank to press fraud charges along with reporting them to the Attourny General and BBB. I am just sick over this and can't believe I have been swindled like everyone else. Then on top of it not that I'll get anywhere, I can't get a hold of anyone until 10AM. I even am loosing my work wages on this whole thing because I now have to go down to the bank to take care of this crap.

This company is the biggest scam ever! I ordered a free trial offer that wasn't really free! It first cost me $25 for 2 mugs, 2 travel mugs, and one bag of coffee, which wasn't a bad deal. The scam was that the company IMMEDIATELY started CHARGING me for shipments of coffee every 2-3 days, charging my credit card $38.95 three times in six days! I called immediately and told them that I didn't order all that coffee and I wanted the charges credited right away. I still have NOT received my credit of $116.85! Everytime I call, which has been MULTIPLE times, I am told "It takes 10-14 days to receive a credit." And, not one person I have talked to had an EXPLANATION why they were CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD MULTIPLE TIMES! Well, it didn't take 10-14 days for them to receive the MONEY THEY STOLE FROM ME! I didn't order their products then decided that I didn't want them! THEY JUST CHARGED MY CARD 3 TIMES FOR COFFEE I THAT I DID NOT ORDER! I called again tonight and left a message on their machine again! They NEVER call back. So, I will call in the morning again! BEWARE OF SEATTLECOFFEEDIRECT.COM, THEY ARE HUGE SCAM ARTISTS. They should NOT be allowed to do business!

Sincerely,

Very P***ed off in Michigan.

I went through the SAME thing as you, multiple charges for coffee I did not order, plus charges for the 2-4 bags a WEEK they were sending me (that I ALSO did not order)! When I first signed up, they said monthly. Liars. I called my bank, and then returned the coffee. After a month and a half going in circles, they claim they never received the coffee back, and the bank says there is nothing they can do about it, and so no one is returning my money. Next step: going to my lawyer.

I also was screwed by yhis company, receiving 3 shipments of coffee in 1 week and 4 charges on my credit card of $38.00. I called the company and got a rude person who told me they would not take the coffee back if it had already been delivered. Buyer beware they will continue to use your money if you don't dispute charges with your credit card company.

I thought they were 1lb bags, they are not, I called to cancel and was told that they put me on a weekly order, i didnt ask for weekly, I asked for bi-weekly. but i found out they are smaller bags I called and canceled and refused the first shipment, i am hoping that they will credit the charges, $25., 00 for one and $38, 5o for another, , there should be a law against this.
Will keep post on here how it goes if credit is not issued, I would have kept it if they were 1 lb bags and BI-WEEKLY. very expensive coffee, $38.50 for 2X 12 ounce bags thats over a $1.00 a cup. thats over $2.00 a cup..They are also making it very hard to post this comment. They automatically put me on weekly. They dont even have email address, I wonder why, maybe a rip off company, If they do not credit, i will dispute charges on credit card. Companies like this spoil it for the legit online companies.. Beware people, its only 12 oz bags.

I got scammed by Seattle Coffee Direct/ Bellezza Coffee & Tea & I complained.
I was told by Mark that my refund would be posted 3-5 business days, I called on the 5th business day because my refund was not posted as of that day & was told by Linda that it would be 10-14 days to be posted.
My credit card company [Visa] will not touch this for 30 days because the jerks have 30 days to refund my money.
The coffee company got their product returned to them within 7 days...WHY do I have to wait so long for them to step up?
I am very unimpressed & annoyed with this whole situation. I need my $25 to pay a real bill.

I ordered the introductory package from Seattle Direct Coffee and received the package (2 ceramic mucs, 2 travel cups, and 2 12-oz packets of coffee on the 15th (Wed). I had not even had a chance to sample it when I received 2 more packets of coffee on Fri., the 17th (yesterday). Apparently Seattle Coffee Direct has a hard time paying for shipping, because they charge $6.95 per packet (12-oz.) per shipping.

I do not want this second shipping and do not want to do business with such a serious bunch of scam artists as Seattle Coffee. If necessary I will cancel the debit card I placed the original order on, but am hoping they will be so deluged with complaints that they will take their coffee back. I am outraged and hope other victims of Seattle Coffee Direct's scheming will report it and get them off the market place.

update;
Its been a week since i refused the second shipment, still no sigh of a credit on my account..
will give it one more week beore I dispute, I still cant get over the fact that I was never informed that they switched me to a "weekly" delivery ( i asked for bi-weekly)when I never asked for it, and also they never specify the size of the bags.
People beware, , no coffee is that good that it costs $25 for two small bags. Jeeez I could be drinking lattes at a boutique coffee shop for two weeks for that price.
Get your act togetehr Seattle coffee, if your honest with people, you may get to keep a lot of the surprise cusontemrs you wheel in.. Be honest and dont try to pull the beans over peoples eyes, we are not stupid., .
Build up a reputation, , ok my consultation fee is $200, a week, , hmm I may may change it to a day without letting you know till youre billed.

This company practices deceitful advertising obviously to gain use of other people's money. They are aware that consumers are going to find out what is going on and will request a refund plus cancel the account but they just don't care. They drag their feet in making refunds, they are very good at promising to make good on returns but they always come up with an excuse. This last one was, "I see where the credit was tried to be made but the system rejected it and so we will just have to do it manually, this will take 5 to 7 business days". Now this was already after having waited for 22 business days.

I believe the FTC needs to hear about this company and maybe the State Attorney General of Illinois as well.
