lots of calls
They pissed me off by calling me over and over again. I have no idea of how they received my phone number, but for the past 5 weeks, I regularly get annoying evening calls from them. At first, I politely asked them to stop and get me off of their list, but they never stopped calling. Please stop this harassment or I will assume the serious measures
I got fake check and I didn't understand why they sent it to me
I got the email and check from the company www.SecretShopperInc.com. These jerks offered to work for them and provided the fake check. I understood it, when I tried to deposit this sum to my account, but the rep in the bank told me that it was impossible. I tried to reach them, but all my emails and messages were ignored. I have no idea why they provided this ###. Please, share your views about this company.

scammers
Delware Secret Shopper Network sent me letter with enclosed check and notified me about possibility to wark as secret shopper for them. I had to cash in check send most of the money via western union and keept the rest to myself but when I was at bank I was told that check is fake.
do not give this company your ssn
Do not give this company your SSN! I signed up for a shop and when I had completed the shop, I tried to log in and do my report. But my ID no longer existed. I still had hours before my report was due but they sent me notice that I had not done the report and was locked out.
SO I signed up another family member to be a 'secret shopper' with them. (Did not give their real SSN, they don't verify it anyway). The day her report was due, BAM she's locked out too because she 'did not complete the shop'.
I think they are using the site to harvest SSN's. At any rate I would steer clear of them.
I have been a mystery shopper for this company for quite some time, and have only had a shop cancel once. They have a pretty strict deadline of 12 Noon central time, and when shops do not meet this deadline they are canceled as overdue. It sounds like your shop was not entered on time. Your account was probably shut down because it was your first shop, because I was only put on a temporary probation.
scam/fraud
I was recently a victim of Fraud via Mail. On Oct 10th, 2011 I received a job opportunity offer to work as a mistery shopper. In the contract agreement it clearly stated my job description..salary.. shopping bonus.. available funds for training assignments.. The available funds covered by a cashier's check in the amount of 4, 225 dollars was to cover all...

Good day, Mr. ...
Today you have a very important task. You have to determine the taste quality of the black caviar. It is not easy task, but we hope you are up to the challenge. Here is what you need to do.
Our company sent you a check for completing this task. You should receive it within 1-3 days after receiving this letter.
You should follow the link http://royal-caviar.com and order this caviar "Caspian Sea Golden Osetra aquacultured".
As soon as you made an order, you should inform us about the :

After you have received the package with caviar, let us know about the following:
1. Whether your package was delivered in timely manner (the delivery time should not be more than 7 days), let us know exactly how many days.
2. Take a picture of the caviar can (not opened). Report the details: what is the condition of the can? Was it arrived damaged or in tact? Are there any dents, scratches or dings? What do you think about the design of the package? Is it attractive by your opinion or not. Explain.
3. Carefully open the caviar can and take another picture of the product. See if there are any blemishes, imperfections or mildew on the caviar’s surface. Describe the appearance of the opened can.
4. Take few grains of the caviar and look against the light. Is caviar clear?

Received the same letter, after doing some research the envelope was suspecious in addition, the return address on the letter/envelope was to a Pizza Palace located in Pheonix, AZ. I called the Pheonix police and informed them of this scam, contacted the FBI and after additional research the check in the amount of 1256.00 was drawn of a Wachovia Bank, I took the check to the bank for investigation and the account was fraudulent. Also, the company on the check was addressed from a Temp Agency in Washington, DC. After, research...I put a fraud alert on my credit and stopped all social networking. This company got my profile off of CareerBuilder.com
DO NOT CASH ANY OF THERE CHECKS! SCAM...
I just received an email quite like yours. I almost feel for it until I read the contract. Things did not added up and the spelling and format was a bit off. The application I was suppose to print off asked questions that were not relevant to a job application. I am a blogger for www.exfelongirl.com and I have written about job scams before. Its such a shame that people are trying to get rich off of others just trying to find a way to make an honest living.
fraud alert
Sometime back I had written about a scam called Master Research Inc., a company that swindled money from people by promising them employment. Those who fell for the scam were given to understand that they would be working as secret shoppers testing the payment mechanisms of large shopping malls.
They had gone underground, it was believed, when the going got too hot. Now, it seems, they have resurfaced after a name-change as Secret Shoppers Inc.
Sign that the scam was alive and kicking were received last week. Nancy Timmerman, after responding to an employment ad in the local paper, received a job offer from a company calling itself Secret Shoppers Inc.
Part of the job, she was told was to check the effectiveness and efficiency of Wal-Mart’s money gram facility. For this, the company sent her a check for nearly $2, 700 drawn on Pioneer Federal Credit Union, Nampa Branch.
She was told to cash the check and then send part of the money using Wal-Mart money grams back to the company.
Nancy confessed, for a moment she was almost taken in by the scam. She was out of work and desperately looking for a job. Under such circumstances, the company and its job offer looked so legitimate. Then, she had heard about such scams operating in the internet world. It took time for her to realize such scams can and were being run in the ‘real’ (read offline) world too.
She took the check to the Nampa Branch of the bank. They told her the check was a fraud. In fact, over a week they had collected three more such checks, two of them very similar to what Nancy had on hand.
Nancy wished others will be alerted by the incident:
“I just want people to know about this because I don’t want some else to be sucked by it that’s as desperate for work as I am”, she said.

This company sends out fake checks and asks you to cash them and quickly wire the money to a recipient overseas. DO not deal with these people! They are a big scam!

I got a check from them too. I threw it into a shredder. Here is some info to help you.

Broad Financial Services is a scam if you look very closely at the checks they are printed on voided paper. Beware do not try to cah these checks. The account that they are supposedly drawn off of is a closed account. If you get one of these letters and checks your best bet is to report it to the BBB and tear it up and throw it away.
April the 7th 2011 i recieved a check from marilyn bank from the secret shopper in madison alabama. the check was in the amount of 1, 985.23, i took this check to the bank to deposit it, but i told the branch manager to check out the check first. im so glad i did that, it wasnt worth the paper it was printed on. i sent marilyn bank an email explaining to her how happy she made me, and i told her shame on her, and what she's doing to people will be done to her. i asked her what was she profiting from sending a rubber check if she's not benefiting from it and i made it clear that i would let everybody no her name. its---MARILYN BANK 1030 BROWNS FERRY RD MADISON AL 35758.SECRET SHOPPER, , I STILL HAVE THE CHECK.
AmeriPlan is a home business not a job. There is an intial investment and a monthly overhead. To get to SRSD there will be 40+ people you put on the books that you will NEVER make income from.
AmeriPlan provides a decent service, but as a business it is very difficult to make money at. People will buy what they want before they buy what they need everyday of the week.
I Believe In You,
Carolyn
4 months of charges
I was signed up with Secret Shopper whom is in association with Surplus Supplier. I called Secret Shopper to cancel within the 10 days as informed (2-3 days) and was given a confirmation #. Not knowing they were not going to also cancel with Surplus Supplier; even through I never signed up online, never received anything or made any type of contact with them. But yet they charged my account for 4 months.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
They did the same thing to my account. This is a scam. I was looking for work and Secret Shopping sounded interesting. It didn't take long to figure out though, when they are charging 99.00 a month, that you aren't going to make much money! When I called in to cancel within the first 2 weeks, they left the Supplier Surplus Account open (A web store I never even used) and I was billed for 9 months. My bank made a call to the company after my attempts to get my money back failed, and they were able to get it back. I also had made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau...but they did nothing but forward emails between the company and I.
they have currently been charging my account. for two months. how do i make them stop?
