Food
On November 30, 2022, at approximately 9:15 pm, at the Spring Mills Sheetz, I purchased four dogs. Imagine my surprise when I opened the one set and seen almost half of my bun missing. This is a constant issue with the Sheetz around Martinsburg WV. I ordered hot dogs last week from the Martinsburg Sheetz on Edwin Miller Blvd, and the buns were hard. I can’t make this up. I’m not looking for free food. I simply want the stores to be held accountable for sending out food that is not up to par. There is no pride at all.

Desired outcome: To be honest, send in secret shoppers and order food. Especially the hot dogs. They come out atrocious.
Suggestion, not a complaint kind of
Many sheetz customers have a bad habit. I do not know if anyone has complained however here is my suggestion.
Sheetz is worth about 7 billion a year and reviewing the complaints I would agree that most customers are generally satisfied.
I don't think many people would be concerned enough not to use your services if you did something that many are not considerate enough to do.
Establish the process of not allowing customers using outside amenities if they are going inside. There are exceptions like seeing the cashier before pumping however most people I see just pull up, fill up and the lock the car and walk inside. They take as long as is convenient for them and then wander outside to move the vehicle.
It is time for sheetz to take the bull by its horns and say if you are not polite enough to move your car then we don't need your business. You can just make it inconvenient to do this by having cashiers and services just for those that won't move their car!
I use sheetz all the time for my truck and my personal vehicles and I am tired of the lack of consideration I see in people. Some will do it because others do it and others are just plain losty in their own world. If people didn't need a reminder there are examples all over the world of signs that warn people to wake up!
Make a stand and then enforce it. I will wait and see.
Desired outcome: SEE SOME SIGNAGE. I SEE SIGNS ON THE GAS PUMPS REMINDING US TO BUY THINGS AT SHEETZ. i WOULD LIKE TO SEE A RESPONSE PLEASE.
Order not filled
I placed an order last night at 9:40, at store #133 Cranberry Township. My order confirmation was [protected]. I arrived at the location at 9:43 and entered my parking space #7. I sat there until 10:01. No one brought my food, so I left. I was in my pajamas, or I’d have gone in the store. Why should I care about reaching “freak level”, when you don’t give 1/2 a crap about your customers anyway?

Fuel truck driver
992-180z 6:30-6:40 pm pouring down rain and cats going 20 miles under speed limit, I was traveling about 10 over hydroplaning because tanker truck couldn’t have been 2 feet from my bumper and I drove a Toyota Prius having to slow down at times due to cars in front and beside me while you drive Kept lying on the horn and turning on high beams getting closer to my bumper as much as he could. He should NOT BE A DRIVER! I will post and make this an issue if not handled accordingly
Desired outcome: He Should have CDL revoked and let go from the company.
Cleanliness Issue
On Thursday evening, November 10, my wife and I stopped at the Sheetz store at 765 Benner Pike in State College, PA to get something to eat. We placed our order and then we went to the restroom while waiting for our order to be filled.
While I was washing my hands in the men's restroom, the door to the toilet stall opened and a Sheetz employee stepped out. He walked past me, and left the restroom without washing his hands.
When I came out of the restroom, I noticed that this employee had returned to work behind the counter and had begun picking out packs of cigarettes (I assume for customers.)
I would estimate this employee was in his late teens to early 20s. He was heavy-set, and wearing a red Sheetz t-shirt and a red Sheetz hat. Perhaps he washed his hands at a sink behind the service counter, but there is no way for a customer to have seen that.
Desired outcome: At the very least, I would request this employee (and perhaps the shift manager working that store that evening, as well) be strongly lectured about the need to maintain personal cleanliness at all times.
Employee
This is the second time I'm reporting this guy, Chris from portage sheets in Pennsylvania, I walked in to get cigarettes asked for my marb menthol 100's he looked at me say "what?" On Sunday November 6th, 2022 at the 6:00 hour my boyfriend and I went to the Sheetz on Center rd in Brunswick, OH. My boyfriend had tried to purchase a 12 pack of Blue Moon and a can of zyn. He has been waiting for his current ID to come in the mail and has been an ongoing issue for 4 months & was denied the purchase because his ID was expired. Ok, understood. My issue comes here. We got separated and he was in line first I was a few people back making my purchases. I then tried to buy a 12 pack of Blue Moon as it was my 32nd birthday and a can of zyn for myself. The nice guy behind the counter was pleasant and happy to serve me with my current ID - not exp. The woman who denied my bf snatched my purchases off the counter and refused to sell to me because she quote "knew it was for him" & was quite rude. What she failed to realize is he was originally trying to purchase for me for my birthday and it wasn't for him anyway in the first place. She could have looked at my ID and seen it was my birthday but wanted none of it. My bf already in the car and didn't witness any of this. She should have been cashing out the other several people in line but was so worried about what I was getting they continued to wait in a long line. I left and we drove 1/8 of a mile down the road and made our purchase at the Shell. Where they were happy to type in my bf's bday instead of swiping the ID. My point is we loved going to Sheetz as it was conveniently 2 miles from home and we both are frequents there. We have never had a problem with this and most of the employees there know us and don't even card us any longer. She was nasty and if she is working now I refuse to make any purchases and will walk right back out the door.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response as my purchase should not have been declined.
Waiting for food
Sheetz in ravenna, Ohio. Yesterday afternoon on my way to work I ordered two sandwiches. After placing the order and paying for it, I ended up waiting 20 minutes for no food. I was able to see the counter and they weren't even beginning to make it. Once 20 minutes had hit I was already running late to work and couldn't even wait around for a refund. I ended up leaving after spending for food that they couldn't provide. I highly recommend that anyone that orders food from here never, never do it when you are on a time crunch. Unless you have 20+ minutes to wait around for food, get it somewhere else.
Interview
The manager was a homophobic [censored]. I put on my application i was a non binary looking for a supervisor position. I am non bionary and this [censored] didnt even look at me. I showed up early. His big complaint was no long term availability. Well my big complaint is homophobic and rude. He was at the store in Morrisville on aviation. He is just another transphobic jerk.
Desired outcome: Fire the manager at aviation parkway the african american homophobic turd. Compensate me for the time that i spent coming to the [censored]ing interview.
Your company is transphobic and rude. I put i was non bionary and he gave me an interview and complained at my face i wasnt going to be there long term. I am in town in a college town at that taking care of sick grandparents willing to work third shift. He shoved my interview back in my face and i had been there since 9 am even though i had apparently a 10:30 interview. He just wanted to reject someone in the LGBTQ when it was on the application.
Not well maintained and pumps never working.
I always use Sheetz in Statesville to purchase fuel and sometimes other things. This station is not that old but has gone downhill very quickly. The pumps are almost never working right. If they are not bagged up, the credit card reader is down. Trash is everywhere. The air pump is always broken. The pictures I took were on 11/06/2022. And this was a good day. They need to get their Sheetz together or I am going elsewhere.
Desired outcome: Need to take pride in taking care of this place. There are other fuel stations across the street.
Horrible service
I made an order online and went to pick it up at the Sheetz on union deposit road in Harrisburg Pa. I waited in the store for 25 minutes. I asked the employee and I told them my order should have been done 10 minutes ago. I was then informed that we put all online orders behind the registers. My food was cold. They didn’t even say anything about it. They...

I ordered nachos grande with, steak, nacho cheese(costs extra), chili(costs extra), carmelized onions, shredded colby jack, guacamole, and sour cream. It had everything except for the nacho cheese and chili. I already most of the way home before I realized.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund
Lottery
I have used sheets for gas, food, refreshments, and lottery for many years, but on this visit I was refused by both cashier and manager Kim the help of buying a lottery ticket, This was at the follansbee WV location. I was informed that no longer can a customer take a $10 bill to the counter and get a quick pick lottery ticket, we are being FORCED to use the self serve machine as per corporate rules. My option was to get charge and do it with the machine ONLY adding an extra step. Furthermore I was also told that you only have the system behind the counter to cash tickets.
As a large company in the retail/ hospitality business this is insulting, customers should Be top priority, a seemingly trivial issue can and has lost a customer in this instance. Choosing to use your services is not a must, it appears corporate persons have forgotten that, maybe take your focus from pocket lining and serve customers.
Desired outcome: A change in policy and an apology.
Customer service cashier Jared
Visited sheetz 609 was rung out by a cashier named Jared his name tag said . This young man is very rude and nasty to his customers . It’s not the first time I’ve have him be rude and nasty . I don’t know what his problem is . He’s constantly complaining about his job and coworkers which is very unprofessional. He’s not very pleasant . I don’t know what the attitude is for it’s no way to talk to your customers. Everyone else is very pleasant and always has a smile on their face . But this young man clearly hates his job . Today 10/24th I came in for lunch around 12:35pm it was super busy which is expected . He ignored the line didn’t say I’ll be right with you or anything just had an attitude had a nice young lady have to come help . You guys need to do something about his attitude. A cashier is supposed to be friendly. I will not continue to come here all because of his nasty miserable attitude
Desired outcome: Who ever is in charge needs to sit down and talk to this young man about his customer service or simply he needs to be let go .
Worst steak sandwich ever!
Sheets #647 1990 NC 86 South Hillsborough, NC [protected] on 10/14/2022 5:50:31PM POS Terminal; Order Number 674, 620, 606; Register 2
I ordered a curly Fryz and Whole Steak Sandwich (17.76) asked for it to be toasted with pepper jack cheese...the fries tasted like it was sitting for awhile and the sandwich...steak was hard, cheese was crumbly and looked old, the bun was so soggy. We purchased the food and got on the road, I opened my sandwich and was so disappointed but did not want to turn around because we had a long drive ahead. This is my very first complaint about food. I have writte numerous positive reviews and this was the first negative review. My disappointment was also with the cashier because I had a rewards card and because she did not want to wait for me to pull it out she said it was too late because she already made the charge.
Desired outcome: Refund me the $17.76 out of the $29.43 and would appreciate a response.
Mto order I placed
I ordered two breakfast platters with double bacon and bagel with cream cheese. Well the bagel might as well been plain cream cheese didn’t even lightly cover the bagel. The double bacon I ordered on both was almost raw and there was only 2 pieces with one platter and three with the other this was on 10/20/22 at 11:30:33 order number 273 store number 217
Desired outcome: I would like the employees to understand we are paying for this stuff at least make it properly
Steak salad
I ordered a steak salad with only fries, olives, cheese and steak. It contained banana peppers and I am highly allergic. I could have been hospitalized. For the price I paid and service it was disappointing. I saved my receipt. This is not the first time my food has been incorrect. Perhaps if the young girl was not busy helping her friend who clearly was a customer, my food would have been made correctly. Not an idea experience for my children and I waiting on our dinner.
Desired outcome: Refund
Customer Service
While traveling thru NC, we stopped at store #594 for fuel. Exit 180B on interstate 40. We went inside, ordered food and I made a cup of tea. The only sugar was in dispensers, but both were empty. While paying for the tea, we asked for sugar, the clerk said they didn’t have any packets. She came out, took the sugar to fill it, and never came back. My husband had time to eat his food waiting on her. She went back to running up customers. We asked the girl at the food counter and she said to give them a few minutes. We had already been patiently waiting. They could care less about us and the $1.49 that I spent for a cup of tea that I can’t drink now. We left, we’ve been traveling all day and are trying to get to our hotel. It is unacceptable the way they treated us as a customer. Wasted money. Poor service. Will not stop there again.
Desired outcome: I want my money back for the tea that I can’t drink because they were too incompetent to finish the task they started.
Customer service worker attitudes
At 11:20 a.m. on October 11th the cashier at the Elm Road Warren Ohio Sheetz store 752 was extremely rude and acted as if she could not be bothered. She walked up and in a very irritated tone says "what do you need". Now I wasn't even at the register completely when she came up upset. I apologized for having to recheck the gas pump because I always worry I have the wrong one. She then huffy repeats my total for the third time and snached my money from me. Did not give me time to pull up my sheets card. Then says "good day" and walks away from the counter. I've never been treated so rudely for just existing.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a follow up response. Your customers keep your business
