On my way to work I stopped at the sheetz location in lock haven pa, after driving over an hour, to purchase a fountain beverage for work. My only form of payment was a winning lottery ticket worth $2. I got my drink and proceeded to wait in line for approximately 20 minutes. When it was finally my turn, I was rang up for my drink and when I attempted to pay using the lottery ticket I was told they did not accept them anymore. I was told that I had to take the ticket to the lottery machine, get the voucher then proceed to stand in line again and use the voucher to purchase my beverage. After arguing this fact and continuing to be denied my purchase, I finally proceeded to the lottery machine, where I was then presented with a new issue. My voucher never dropped. When I asked for assistance I was told it would be at least 20 minutes until I would be assisted. At this point, besides obviously being irritated with all the ignorance, I was already running late and had no choice but to have to forfeit my drink and leave, thus leaving me to have to rush to work, without a beverage at this point! I am completely appalled by the customer service I received, and the lack of employee knowledge, or at the very least, the lack of notification of these supposed new policies, which ultimately led to this attrocious experience! I have been a loyal customer of sheetz and never experienced anything like this before, but it was bad enough it makes me not want to provide my business to this company ever again! I really hope attention is taken to this matter and proper resolve is applied!
