Not paid for work
I worked a shift on 05/11 and have no pay card to get paid bc Shiftkey never sent me one. I updated direct deposit on 05/09/2024. As of today 05/20/204, I still have not been paid. Their customer service is no help all that say is they will submit a escalation and the TAT is 48-72 hours. Karen Colbert with the payment department sends email asking for information already provided in previous emails. I call customer service and it is no supervisors to speak with.
Recommendation: Go to another travel agency that actually cares about their providers

Shift key does not side with their employees they side with the facilities there's nobody to contact for help except to Chad agent that says the same thing over and over somebody will contact you within 24 hours and you'll have to talk to the facility about that that's all you ever hear they do not care about their people that they hire they do not care period. I tried for 2 years to get no call no shows that were false taken off of my profile and shift key did nothing first of all I couldn't there's nobody to contact everybody I did contact blew it off and still I got no help and when I turned them into the better Business bro then they deactivated my profile and wouldn't let me pick up shifts but contract labor so they shouldn't if all the contract laborer then how did they deactivate my account
They did the same thing to me, facilities marked me as NC/NS even when I called to cancel. I had one facility tell me that she would wait til the day of my shift and mark me NC/NS even though I was on the phone with her. Shift Key deactivated me, even filed numerous appeals, they will not talk to you or get your side of the story. If you call them or use the chat box they get weird and tell you they can't talk to you, if you ask for a number to someone that will talk to you they won't give you any information to anyone that could help you. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! Only keeping those shady facilities on the books!

I have been sending in my NAR 5506 form to ShiftKey since August/2023 and still to this very day November 16, 2023, I have NOT received my form which has made it impossible to work. I have spoken to a little bit of everybody and got the run around and still nothing. This is very unprofessional and extremely inconsiderate. I'm extremely angry and will never work for this company again.
Delayed pay
SHIFTKEY is a big scam! Stay away from this company! There are so many other good apps out there that you can choose from. They delay people's pay and use all sorts of crap to cut you out of your money. They get a lot of money for the shift you work, but they take a big portion and pay you the peanuts... I waited three and a half weeks to get paid, I worked a shift on Wednesday and waited until Tuesday to get paid and they didn't pay me on Tuesday. When I called and asked them why I didn't get paid on Tuesday like I was supposed to, they told me that my time sheet from the previous week came in a few minutes late on Monday, so I had to wait another whole week. So, I waited two weeks and again they still had not gotten paid, they said Monday was a holiday so they couldn't process the payment, so I had to wait until the next payday which was Tuesday... by the time I got paid, it was already three and a half weeks...
The thing that gets me is that they could not do anything throughout the week to expedite my pay even after waiting all that time and most jobs do not use a holiday excuse to not pay you in fact they pay in advance if the holiday falls on payday. Also, they have already gotten their share way before you start your shift and sit with your money while you go back and forth with them about your delayed pay...it's very sad and painful.
What's the point of working for an agency then if you cannot get your money on time to pay your bills and if you must wait 2 or more weeks then it is better to work as an employee with benefits and not for these people to sit there and play with peoples hard-earned money and figure out when to pay me when they have already been paid for the shift you worked. Also, they are not reliable, and they can cancel your shift anytime. You pick up a shift plan for a whole week to work and just a few hours before your shift they can cancel you. However, there are other apps that if your shift gets canceled pay, you something and most importantly, they take way less money and pay you the big portion so they keep a lot of people working for them... ask anyone that works for a shift key they will tell you that it's crap... Just try other apps …
Background still pending since beginning of May 2023 now it’s middle of July 2023
The worse experience ever. My background screening was completed at the beginning of May and is still pending. I have the exact same background as I did a year ago when I applied. I have when worked for them before. I have called and chatted at least 40 times. I have got request sent for escalation and it still hasn’t been resolved. I was cancelled for a job less than 2 hours before the shift and It looks like I cancelled. The facility cancelled my shift. I was also supposed to be compensated since it was less than 2 hours before the start of shift. No compensation and ShiftKey wouldn’t even confirm with the facility that they are the ones that cancelled me. I called the facility numerous times and their account manager reached out to ShiftKey to resolve the issues. Quests what! ShiftKey still did it resolve the issues. It is very sad how they do the facilities and worked. I had facilities tell me that they will not work with shift key due to lack of person to person interaction. I even had another agency tell me that if the have a worker that wants to work a shift that the facility will prefer any agency over them and cancel the already scheduled shift with ShiftKey and reassign with their worker.
Recommendation: I do not recommend if you are relying on work
My background will never be processed
I submitted my background almost 2 months ago. I have reached out multiple times to multiple different people on ShiftKey. Every person has told me it’ll take 3 to 5 business days to continue waiting and being patient. Checkr set my background May 9 and it’s about to be July 1st. This has put me in a financial situation relying on this agency. I have talk to multiple Shiftkey employees and managers. I have little to no hope that my background will ever be processed.
Recommendation: Always have a back up agency provider that you can work for.

Terrible company! They ONLY answer the phone Mon thru Fri 9a-6p. They do not hold their nurses accountable! Their nurses are famous for NCNS on the weekends for 12hr shifts.

Application process was a pain
Application process was a pain. If you work for Managed Care in the state of Texas, do not bother even applying because they will not even accept our TB test certificate, even with a signed letterhead because it's missing a read date. Even when I explained that our dept has to use a certain form and cannot make any changes to it. Shiftkey wouldn't budge on this. They won't even try and call my unit to talk to the ICN that did the test. My test is negative or I wouldn't be able to work there.

I was not paid according to the bid and they told me I lied about my pay. *** rehabilitation in Fort Worth would not confirm my pay after I worked a 12 hour shift and shift key paid due me 30$ instead of 42.39. They completely used me and refuse to pay me what was owed. I tried speaking to account manager and he was very unprofessional and rude. Called me a liar. But I was in the hospital so I wasn't able to respond until later and I've been calling emailing my account manager and customer service for a week and I have not gotten a response to my suspension or my livelihood and I also didn't get a chance to tell my side of the story I've been working with this company for several months I have an 85% rating so I'm always attending my shifts but this is unbelievable that I can't even get a call or email to what is going on or the actual protocol for my suspension !

(There's 3 I have saved in my phone) I received an email saying because of a call off I will now be deducted $76.00 after my next shift, which I can't get ahold of the manager to discuss and explain that the FACILITY told me NOT to come in and that I did not call off. I have texts proving that the facility told me they were fully staffed and no longer needed me. I'm highly frustrated and have only heard negative things from other ShiftKey employees. I think this "manager" has too much on his work load to where he cannot tend to every need and he should have an assistant to help tend to some of these issues. It took him WEEKS to get back to me when I first started. This is ridiculous.

Worst Provider Service Ever! I'm an agency nurse in WI. I worked an 11 hr shift and was only paid for 7.5 hrs.! I've notified the WI recruiter numerous times and he will not even respond! I attempted the help desk again they tell me "The have to escalate the issue and someone will get back to me within 5 days and if no one does to call back! Well guess what no one has ever called me back nor emailed twice now! The facility has told me they resolved the issue on their end. This morning I called the help desk back, was put on hold after they asked me what my issue was and no one ever picked up! I like most people cant affird to work for free! I am helping to pay your salary, and I want to be paid mine! I had another issue back in May where they told me that I had cancelled a shift! NOT TRUE! I WAS PAID FOR THE SHIFT IN QUESTION! Yet they won't remove it from my profile as promised!

Worked one shift with this company. Was never paid. Supposedly they put it on the rapid pay card they push on people. I never received the card. Contacted via chat, then called. Changed my pay to direct deposit. Was promised it would go into my bank today. It didn't. So now I get to waste even more of my time trying to get paid for the time I worked. It's very disheartening to be worth so little to a company that you aren't even paid for the time you work and have to spend hours of time unpaid trying to get what is mine. No support, no one to talk to. Doesn't matter if they have decent hourly wages if one doesn't get paid. That is a scam. A lie. Slavery. It's not like I'm rich and can do volunteer work! I guarantee the CEO of this *** company is very well off. Will be even more so by not even bothering to pay people for the time they work! I have had a ncnc for a facility I called into to let them know I would be late. Was told my shift was canceled then paid me for 2hrs for my time and trouble then 3/4 days later take it back and mark me as a ncns. I can't get help from my account manager to fix it all I keep being told is to contact the facility which I have and still nothing has been done. I call more than 24hrs to cancel one shift with the other I needed to cancel being at the same facility and it was more than 48 hrs before that shift date and they still remain up and tomorrow is one of the shifts dates which I will probably get marked as a ncns for. It's starting to get a little ridiculous with the lack of communication!

This company is dishonest. I recently worked 24 hours and was promised I would be paid via direct deposit on June 22nd. When I was not paid I contacted Shiftkey. Valerie told me exactly what I have learned is a common practice with this company "Oh, your routing number is incorrect ". Not possible, I have copies of all info submitted. Valerie stated " I'll file an escalate report and when that money is returned to us from the bank where it was sent you'll be paid ". They have used this tactic on several employees who have never been paid. When asked the routing number used Valerie stated " Oh I can't reveal that ". I informed Valerie that they must have an idiot entering info since this seems ti be a frequent problem. I informed Valerie that Banks do not receive any payments for direct deposit unless the information is correct. Also, I expected to be paid today and Shiftkey could wait on this mystery bank to return this non existent money. I filed a complaint with the labor department. Notified Tom ***, CEO of Shiftkey that I am filing a class action lawsuit against Shiftkey. Rns; Lpns and Cnas work too hard to have a worthless company steal their pay then lie .

This is the worst company ever. I am a nurse I have worked for this company since 2021 . I have nothing but a bad experience. They reject timeslip constantly. They never pay on time . Even according to their own pay schedule. They have a policy that states timeslip submitted by 1 pm on Monday. Will pay 2-5pm ok never happens. Then they keep sending you to these stupid articles or till you we working diligently to process your payment. Ok what is purpose of rapid pay that you charge 2.95 . It's not rapid . I would like to share my experience working with Shiftkey. As we all know we are contracted and they always say there is nothing they can do for us about issues. Well today and in the pass two years I have had facilities lie on me (defamation of character), and try to steal time from me. My shiftkey manager never answered the phone when I called several times. Some Lady called me back very unprofessional and sounding very unconcerned saying your manager said your trying to call him? I responded yes, I'm calling because I have a issue I can't get resolved on my own. The issue: My husband and I picked up a shift with a facility in Richardson, I called asked if we could get approved a couple of days ago. My husband and I woke up late at 5:45a and our shift started at 6a, We live 1hr 20mins away and as soon as I realized we would be late I called the facility spoke to a Nurse and Informed her that my husband and I would be running late. She said okay I will relay the message. My husband and I get there at 7:30a which then my nurse on the covid unit tells me my shift was canceled due to being late. I said okay, asked the nurse in the front to sign my timesheet for my two hours. The oncall nurse calls the nurse and tells her my shift was not cancelled but the nurse on the covid unit not letting me work. So she tells her to sign the two hours. Almost four hours later at 11a they put me down as a NOCALL NOSHOW and tell me they not changing it because then they would have to pay two hours. I have proof I showed up, have screenshots of calls, my timesheet for my two hours is signed. I called this facility Manager and she was rude. At this point im frustrated saying I NEVER CALLED OR SHOWED UP IS A LIE WHEN MY HUSBAND AND I CAME TOGETHER. He working on the floor while im sitting outside two hours from home with nowhere to go. Call my manager and all she could say was there is nothing we can do. I said your my manager you are suppose to be able to advocate for me. A joke!

I worked a shift at Warsaw Health and Rehab in Warsaw, MIssouri. I was not paid. After reading all these comments, I feel I will never be paid unless I take legal action. I don't know why Shiftkey cannot just pay me since I work for Shiftkey and not that facility. I need this money. I cannot afford to wait extra days after my pay is due. If you cannot pay on time as promised, then do not offer these shifts.

Tennessee lpn- last name HYDE. I had my background completed on 10/27/2023 by Chekr and it was forwarded to Shiftkey. My background is still pending. I have called several times and the issue is still unresolved. I have been with this company for years. I can not complain to a supervisor. It was assigned to someone on the 9 th of November 2023 to be resolved and has yet to be resolved. Account Suspension
I accepted at shift on 10/10/2023 at Weston Inn of Temple, Texas for 6pm-6am. They posted the shift late and the location was an hour away from my home so I did not arrive till 7:30pm. I had an emergency with my sitter and needed to leave early so I left around 5 am. Clocked out and talked to the nurse and everything was fine. Since it was an overnight shift I went to sleep when I got home but when I woke up I hadn’t been paid yet. I contacted the facility and they told me they wouldn’t be paying me since I left over 2 hours early which was completely false. I finally got them to pay me but my account was still suspended. It’s truly affected my financial situation since the other agency apps don’t have work where I’m located. Is there anyone who could help me? Support never wanted to hear my side or understand why I left early.

On 10/28/2023, through ShiftKey, I Tia N. Reese was headed to my 10pm-6am at Sandy Lake Rehabilitation in Coppell, Texas. Thirty minutes prior to start of shift, I received a texted notification that the facility canceled my shift. Because I was already in route, I continue to the facility. Upon arrival Marian(scheduler & wound nurse)told me that it was her that accident canceled my shift but asked me was I still willing to stay and that the forms would assure my payment for shift. She tried to make the shift back available, but the ShiftKey system would not allow me to claim shift due to time and trouble pay already in process. The facility has made minimal attempts to assist me with payment for my service and ShiftKey has yet to respond or resolve this matter. There are multiple claims pending on this issue. Immediate resolution and compensation is requested

Not getting proper pay/ taking funds
On August 4 2022 I reviewed a text of a NCNS date 4/23 which wasn’t the case. I worked a shift at Signature of Norfolk on 10/16 in which shift claims they refunded the company the money for that shift in which they put on my record as a NCNS. There is no record of receiving a money for a shift 4/23 However I worked 3/24, 4/25,4/26 which I received funds for those days non of which were the sum shift key claimed they took. I see why they are worth 2 Billion of the backs of Nurses. They were called with this matter with little resolve. How awful that companies feed off the backs of sick people and the people that care for them. Shame on shift key. I give them a rating of 0

I worked a shift for a facility on [protected] 3p to 11pm. That facility stopped using shift key the next day. I submitted my time sheet for that shift and it got declined I called shift key that Thursday [protected] and staff said that a manager had to verify I worked that day and they would approve my shift. [protected] I called back and gave them the DON direct phone number so she could confirm I worked. I called again Monday [protected] and staff told me the same thing they told me the first time that they emailed management and management had to handle it. They put me on a brief hold and then said management was busy and someone would give me a call back, no one did. It is now [protected] and they are still saying the same thing. They won't allow me to speak to management they won't even allow me to stay on hold. I want my money and if they don't approve my shift by [protected] before 3pm that will be another week without my money.
Desired outcome: I want them to call the DON'S direct line so they can get proof I worked and approve my shift so I can get paid.
Suspension of account
Hello. I am filing a complaint about shiftkey due to the fact I got suspended once again on August 2nd,2023 for facilities incorrectly putting I was a ncns when I sent proof to appeals and appeals still hasn't reached out to me. As of August 6th at 11:45am I still have yet to receive an email from the appeals team. I sent proof right away when i found out that my account was suspended as i was supposed to be working a shift the next day with a facility. Noone will answer my emails. Their chat can not help me, and i can not get a phone number for shiftkey. I am still continuing to wait as I've been very patient with everyone. This is not only effecting myself, but my 3 children I have at home.
Desired outcome: For my account to be reactivated as I showed proof of calling off. I would greatly appreciate a response.
Nurse aid
I've tried reaching out to shiftkey twice as one of their employees working in KY has recently been charged with possession and distribution of Meth as well as having an active CPS investigation against them. She posts often online about still being employed despite an active case of abuse being investigated and the state has ordered no contact for the worker with her children. She has failed more than one drug test and was arrested in a drug bust in Rankin County, MS.
I'm unsure of how she continues to work with patients despite Shift Key being notified of her conduct. As well as a complaint filed with a board.
Desired outcome: For the worker to be investigated properly before being allowed to have continued access to those that are unable to care for and aide themselves.

I worked a shift on 7/31/2023 in galatin tn from 6pm to 6am the facility didn’t sign my work log because at 6 they said I need to chart on the 6 people i didn’t chart on but they didn’t give me any credentials to chart or explained how they was sending my login information when I started my shift so now they want pay me.. ShiftKey payments
I worked at a facility on June 17th and June 19th. When I was working a 16 hour shift my second shift was dropped, but the facility wouldn’t let me leave, but also wouldn’t pick the shift back up. I have tried contacting both companies and neither will get back to me with an answer. I was also put on the locked dementia unit but have no qualifications to be there.

I’m a healthcare provider
In July 2022, I picked up a shift using the ShiftKey app. I went to the facility and worked under harsh conditions, I was booked another day at the same facility, and before I got off at 10pm I asked who I needed to contact about cancelling the shift. Shift started at 6 so I woke up at 4, contacted the administrator, and asked him to please remove me from the schedule. The administrator was very rude and unprofessional, cursed at me, hung up in my face, DNR’d me, and red flagged me from this facility. Because of that I’m unable to pick up local shifts from its sister facilities. I never mistreated, abused, or neglected anyone, all I did was call off because the work load I had the previous night was too much for me. I’ve been trying to get this issue resolved for a year now. A red flag for a call in is way too much, just because I’m an independent contractor does not mean I’m not human. Totally unfair… facilities can rate providers, but providers can’t rate facilities. I have even been DNR’d from a facility I never worked at, that too has never been resolved. I like ShiftKey but things like that make it hard to work and not be stressed out. My money is limited.

Shiftkey has been giving me the run around about my pay for a whole week. Every day I've been calling and every singletime I've called I've been told 24 hours. I've been told this for a whole week. I worked two 8 hour shifts and have not received my payment. I'm a cna. I work hard for my money. I have been working for them for over a year and this is the first time I have had this issue. It wasn't until I switched to that pay card.

I have worked for shiftkey for over a year. I loved working for them because I could work as little or as much as I wanted. Recently I just changed to the pay card and now I haven't been paid for two 8 hour shifts. I'm so frustrated and disappointed! Have been getting the run around about money I worked hard for. Maybe it's time for ne to move on. Either way I still need my money.

I'm a LPN, I have never been a no call no show. I've worked for the same facility for over a year. I don't scan in my timesheets daily. I didn't get the memo tha it's a time limit to put timesheets in. This year I notice Shiftkey assumingly the accounts manager in my region places a no call no show n thus block you from uploading your timesheets. The app only records a number for no call no show, it doesn't record a date u can click on and see the dates. I been calling and chat on the App to get info and help. I been promise a called back from an account manager or the esculation department. I been reaching out since January. I fill no choice but to reach out to the labor board.
Desired outcome: Receive a call from an account manager and get paid. Have the portal reopen so I can upload timesheets or contact the facility so I can get paid for time worked.

I worked a shift on July 15th for 16 hrs. I have a signed timesheet from the facility charge nurse. However the staffer changed my hours to 14.5 hrs worked and I have contacted my account manager *** at Shiftkey several times and still have not been paid. She will no longer return my emails either. I want to be paid for the hours I worked!

Good luck! It’s been three months for they just sent an email a couple weeks ago saying they got my appeal I guess they went on vacation with it because I haven’t heard or seen anything else
My account with this company was suspended for ncns and I have tried to reach out to the company and my account manager with no success. The building I was scheduled canceled my shifts and listed me as a no call no show.

I have requested to have my account deactivated. I have not worked a shift for the company due to NO available work shifts within a one hour drive from my home. It is not feasible for me to drive to regions far beyond where I live considering I am not paid for mileage or vehicle wear and tear. I attempted to resolve my issue through the ShiftKey app with a representative but was unsuccessful.

This company defrauds people by doing bad business and making it almost impossible to reach anyone for a resolution the chat is a joke they give you the run around without answering any questions. When the do decide to answer the phone they put you on hold and never speak but sounds like they are having a party in the background. I've called them for 6 weeks and neve had anyone answer that phone

On 12/25-12/29 I have been calling them to resolve a billing error
On 12/25-12/29 I have been calling them to resolve a billing error. they refuse to fix a technical issue with their app so a third party is to be billed for my services so funds can be released to my account. I'm owed $963. 96, however, I have only received $157.71. I did speak to account managers to try to resolve this matter however, I'm getting a bunch of excuses. I was told it have been fixed and that a work order has been submitted. I haven't received the funds. I need my funds sent to me immediately.
