Having made a purchase from a reputable on line company I was pleasantly surprised to learn at the end of the transaction that I would receive £15 cashback via Shopperdiscounts. All I had to do was signn up and my cashback and loads of discounts from many UK top brands would be mine. I got a shock when some days after signing up my credit card had been debited £10 as my subscription. I never agreed such a charge and at no point did there offer mention a joining fee. What a scam. Ive tried to call but the office is closed due to severe weather!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
UNKNOWN (OR UNDETECTED BY ME, THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN DEDUCTING £10 FROM MY ACCOUNT VIA AMEX AND, ALTHOUGH THEY SAY THEY WILL STOP THE SUPPOSED "ACCOUNT", THEY DON`T SEEM TO BE INTERESRED IN REFUNDING THE £60 THEY HAVE STOLEN FROM ME. Apparently, all I did was to book myself into a Premier Inn at Hull for a funeral!
I have been scammed by this company. they are taking money out of my account daily and now I have to close my checking account and open a new one. They called me on the phone and talked very fast and I had just woke up and was still a little fuzzy. They promised me a $100.00 dollar target gift card which I know I will never receive. I know this because when I called them I could not get to speak to same people who first called. It is bogus and I would like to get this all over the internet to keep others from getting s...d by them. I think they are in another country because the 3 different women I talked to I could not understand them. They speak some sort of asian accent and we all know what that is like trying to talk to those people. I am P------ed off.
for the last couple of months I have had payments taken from my bank account (£10) each time without my authority, I don't even know who this company is, if you cannot stop this will taken to my bank and the police.
just checking my accounts and have realised that since4-6-11 shopperdiscount.co.uk has been taking £10 a month out of my current account. I am not away of ever setting up an account with these people and wish to get my money refunded.

I attempted to contact mary@shopperdiscountsandrewards.co.uk with the e mail below, but failed to send it. I need answers and acknowledgement!
I was appalled to find that you have been deducting £10 pcm from my account for the last 3 months! This money has been taken unbeknownst to me, against my will and better judgement and is tantamount to stealing! I have received no service whatsoever for this money and would like the sum total refunded asap. I am retired and can ill afford to pay my own bills let alone yours! I have no wish whatsoever to be part of this scam and unless my money is refunded will be contacting Watchdog with the evidence. As far as I can gather all I did was accept an offer of £15 discount on my next purchase at Argos following a purchase of my grandson's birthday present. That's great I thought! The next thing was that you were party to MY bank details and had the audacity to deduct £10 from my account each month! Frightening! I will be informing my bank of this and Argos stores.
Here's hoping that my trust in human nature can be restored.

transaction, I would like to cancel this as soon as possible.

You did not specify. If this is a financial institution charge, then you need to talk to them. It could be something as simple as a monthly service fee. If it's not your financial institution, then your statement should tell you who this charge is from - or your bank can find out who it's from and their contact information. Then you need to contact that organization and ask them to cancel what ever the monthly fee is that they are charging you. You have to take action for yourself with them directly. Be proactive. Get on the phone - make phone calls and find out who, where and why this charge is happening. You first contact should be your financial institution. They should be willing to help you get the issue resolved if this is indeed an unauthorized charge to your account.
I don't know who is deducting this apparently it is from shopperdiscount.co.uk and their reference is [protected]
I wish to stop this transaction

i have just now realised that this company have been taking money from my account, roughly $35 every month, the past 4 months.
Money taken out after purchasing a birthday card from Funky Pigeon, apparently there was a check box at the bottom to give you £5 off your next purchase, you have to cancel before 30 days or they charge you. in this case they charged £15. doesn't seem like much of a discount.
Buyer Beware is the motto today.
I have just noticed a £10 deduction on my credit card statement. I have just been in touch with Tesco my credit card supplier and they inform me this has been being deducted since October 2011. That works out at almost £600 but i usually just pay my card off and not check (silly me). They tell me i cant get any of the money back but it has stopped from now. I have never signed up to any such thing so this is a complete SCAM. Lessons learned:- Check your statements.
