Hello my name is samantha, I just received a do not enter form from the shoppers drug mart, I just spoke to the manager stating why this occured when I was not in the wrong for giving feedback on how I was being treated, he said I was demanding and rude
I came in to the shoppers on the side of the building, I buzzed in two minutes goes by I buzzed again and I went in, a lady came up to me and said why are you pushing the button twice (mimicking me rudely with hand gestures) I stated I didnt know if you heard me, she said ovbiously I heard I was on the phone, I stated didnt know that (I cant see in the store) she then rolled her eyes at me, I stated to her.. Again I didnt know you just had to say hey hun I was on the phone next time just know someone is coming. I have in the past rang the buzzer and no one came, I came in the afternoon asking what happened they said we didnt know you were aloud to come in before 9am (manager said I could) so I didnt know who was working that day or if they in fact heard me. There have been another incident with a girl stated I wasnt aloud in there I proceeded to tell her I was and have been doing so for a while she then began arguing with about it, I asked for her name and the pharmacist said its none of my business to not worry about it. I feel so sick to my stomach about this! Because I told this lady I didnt know and she didnt have to speak with me like that, that now I am not aloud in the store. I feel that is it because I am on the methadone side they seem to think I am a nobody who they can talk to as if thats the case. I am just as much as a customer as anybody else. I need to go in there seeing its the only place that open before I go to work and now I am left with no other options sadened beyond belief for doing nothing but calmly stating my opinion. The manager wanted nothing to do with what I had to say, not even hearing me out, if this was a customer on the other side this would never take place im sure of it. Please help me as I am going to be devasted with potentially losing my job due to this matter, I feel like ive been kicked in the stomach by this emotionally

i (consumer) tried to return a product 2 days out of refund policy. the product that was purchased with a skincare product and only subject to break out, the product can be tested to see if it is effective on skin. the lady who insisted she was the cosmetics/store manager rudely said there is nothing she can do about returning the product.

Good morning,
I'm not the type of person who would normally write to a headoffice, but when it has the to do with the fact that I could of been seriously sick or worst I'm taking action.
I had some dental work done and was in alother of pain, also the dentist wrote a script for pain meds and dexamethasone. Was called into the Essex Ontario location, about 4 hours later I went to pick it up and was not ready...so I waited...finally get called and the pharmacist said it was filled out wrong and change to dose to 10 pills twice a day.
I finished the meds with every side affect that is listed. So a week later more dental work and more meds. But this time with a different pharmacist, I was told that the meds last time should of been 1 pill twice a 10. She called my dentist to make sure that it was right ( because of sure a big change in dosage) and my dentist informed her that I should of been on the same dose last time.
I say I'm upset is an understatement, if that was a medication that I could of overdosed on or worst!
Thanks you and hope to heard back very soon, I love shopping at your store and do at lease 2 to 3 times a week, but depending on how this gets handle might change that.

I have been dealing with the same shoppers drug mart for several years. The have been miss placing my prescriptions and the one pharmacist has been very rude and disrespectful. I am very frustrated and have thought about leaving and going to another drug store. They talk down to me and treat me as if my concerns dont matter and try to put their mistakes on me saying i never drop scripts off... Customers should be treated with respect and i am trusting they are watching over my meds... But obviously i shouldn't be as they are not doing their job... Need a company i can trust and not be treated badly at.
postal service in store
They accused Jennifer pearson of shop lifting months ago and even hit her 14 yr. Old Daughter, who is my daughter.I called you and complained, you never called odett dealt with it.
They have a postal outlet in the store.
6 parcels totally over $5000 was sent there as the companies tracking can prove. The parcels have disappeared. The store employees threatened her they would forward her mail and parcels somewhere else and she would never get them. They are Shopper drug mart employees not Canada post employees.
If the parcels are not returned as well as the mail I will be seeking legal advice on this matter.
I realize you don't care but I will take action.
It is a Federal offence to mess with the mail.
I have the police reports as well as all parcel documentation and the complaints to you on all these matters I have sent in.
accused of stealing/bad customer treatment
So this happened a little while ago but I wonder if other people have had similar experiences. I was walking to the cash to pay for a foundation and lipstick I was carrying. The manager of the store passed me and literally GLARED at me and said "You gonna pay for that?" I was walking TO the cash register! What the hell? Mind you this is not the first time I have been treated like a common theif in a SDM. One time I was browsing with a friend on our work break and the makeup counter girl blatantly called out for another employee to come "watch us". Pathetic! I pay their OVERPRICED prices every time I shop there and this is how they treat customers? Especially the cosmetic counter women they are horrible
sale item not available but no rain check either.
Hello Staff,
Shoppers Drug Mart.
150 Montreal Rd, Ottawa, ON K1L 8H2
Phone:[protected]
Today January 19th. 2017 I was in Vanier's Shoppers Drug Mart ( address above) since every Thursday seniors can enjoy 20% discount sale o every items in the store.
I went in to pick up 4 bottles of distilled water when there were only 3 available. I asked the supervisor ( whom was just about going home at 5PM) whether she give me a rain check due to store's fault luring people in for sale day but not goods available. The supervisor lady rudely, , ( it seemed she did not care a crap about rectifying store's missing items on shelf mistake on sale day) and she rudely hassem me away with " SORRY WE DON"T GIVE OUT RAINCHECKS" .
Honestly, she sound a pretty stupid person not knowing how to run an establishment and how to rectify store's mistakes.
1. It's not a store's "mistake" if the item is sold out
2. They cannot give a rain check with a senior's discount applied to it, they physically cannot conjure up that kind of rain check. They cannot price adjust on a rain check receipt.
3. Quit whining about not getting your 4 bottles of water, settle for 3, and purchase 4 next week.
customer service
I walked in at 5:20pm on January 18th. I was sick with flu, had a half an hour commute, and realized I may be on my period. So I rushed to the nearest Shoppers drug Mart. I talked to a lady working for the cosmetic section and asked if I could use the washroom to check if I had my period or not. She gave me a hard glance and said there was no public washroom. I was already on the brink of distress, but she showed no sign of sympathy. I felt helpless, defeated, and ignored. She did not treat me with a shred of customer appreciation, a shred of humanity.
I bought a box of pads and left to find another washroom as soon as possible. But I had already stained my underpants and pants. Already damaged and distressed, I went back to the store to find some form of apology. Instead, I'm met by with her reluctance to give me her name, proceeding to walk out. Another man, who was working for Shoppers although he was not wearing Shoppers clothing, started to condescendingly retort, "YOU'RE COMPLAINING BECAUSE THERE WAS NO WASHROOM?". He proceeds to repeatedly yell that at me in front of everyone. Already mentally distressed, I started crying. At which point he simply brushed me off. The other employees in the store proceeds to give me the corporate treatment, apologizing that there is no washroom. But it wasn't about the washroom, it was about being treated like a human and given some sympathy.
After the assistant manager apologized about no public washroom, I walked out the store again, knowing I wasn't going to get my point across. However, I was already sick and distressed enough to cause a 10 minute nosebleed. The picture below is taken at 5:45 of the aftermath of my nosebleed. So by now, I was crying and bleeding in the washroom. I don't think I would been put through so much emotional and physical distress if it wasn't for the poor behavior of these Shoppers drug Mart employees.
Please encourage employees to be sympathetic and discourage employees banding up against a customer.
Couldn't you just buy some pads, go outside in the alley and duck down behind a dumpster and take care of it? You'd of even had a pad or two to take care of that nosebleed. For chrissakes. You think those employees are your mother?
service
The location on highway 10 and 152 in surrey, bc, Canada is suppose to be open till 12:00am. I came home from work at 11:30pm and my kid needed something for his stomach and its the only place left open. so I went over to shoppers cause I had 20 mins before they closed. I got there 15 mins to 12 and all doors where closed and curtains where down. I am very appalled by this. This has happened more than once before. Now my kid has to suffer through the night because your employees felt that they don't need to follow the store hours.
manager/lp
I am completely appalled that head office has allowed the nw shoppers drug mart to house horrible employees. I have never been so insulted by a business. First the security targets and racial profiles its customers and follows them around and makes them feel uncomfortable without any probable reason. Secondly, the behaviour of the staff when complaining about the poor treatment does nothing, including the store manager. If your going to allows your staff to follow customers around like a spy, make it less obvious and less uncomfortable. If I am going to spend $50 in your store, I think it is very unlikely that I am going to waste my time and go steal. Also don't target the first black guy that walks into the store. The manager of this location should be ashamed of herself and how she treats customers and how she resolves complaints.
unethical behaviour of a shoppers drug mart cosmetician
It makes me extremely uncomfortable overhearing a cosmetician (Jenny Ferreira), make extremely rude and disrespectful comments in public about clients she has serviced at Shoppers Drug Mart. Comments such as, "I almost threw up because of how many dark spots there were on her ashy skin." make me feel uncomfortable and anxious going to any cosmetician as I am afraid they conduct a defamation of character in public. As a shopper that makes me feel concerned and unpleasant. It looks bad on herself and the company she is representing.
similac step 2 never in stock
I am a very loyal Shoppers Drug Mart customer. I buy all my baby products, plus various products here on more than a weekly basis. This is now the 8th time in a row (not an exagerration I've been counting) that this store has not had Similac Step 2 baby formula stocked on the shelves and only one of those times was it found in the back. This is a HUGE inconvience as anyone who has formula fed knows. You cannot simply just change to a different brand all the time or really ever for that matter. It causes the baby lots of stomach issues and takes time to adjust. So on a Sunday night when there is nothing else open and I am relying on your service to feed my baby and upsets me that I have to change his formula, simply because someone obviously has an issue doing stock and it is not being ordered properly. I had never had this issue until consistently the last 3 months. So I don't know if something changed in that time. But something needs to be done. I was informed by the cashier I'm not the only person with this problem. I will be complaining in the store directly to the manager. I have mentioned this to the cashiers and merchandisers in the past. Just not tonight since it was my boyfriend who went to the store. This is for the Moray location by the way and it has been a problem at the Unicity location aswell.
pharmacy
I visited the Shoppers Drug Mart on Fairway Road in Kitchener on January 5. I had a prescription from my doctor's for 2 items. Antibiotics and an inhaler. I gave my prescription to pharmacist and she asked me to wait. When my drugs were ready, I was expecting to pay what I usually pay for this type of a prescription - $12-20. My bill was $103. I was shocked. The pharmacist told me the antibiotics were $93 and some cents. Inhaler was $7 something. It made no sense to me. Being diagnosed with a serious kidney infection, I needed to start my meds right away. I had a high fever and BP for over 24 hours. I say okay maybe this antibiotics is for serious illness so it's expensive. I paid the total bill.
After coming home, when I looked at everything in detail, I find out the inhaler was $93 and antibiotics were $7. I would never buy an inhaler for $93 because I never use them. This Shoppers Drug Mart is always playing these mind games on people to get more money out of customers any way they can. Now they won't return the money back for the inhaler even though I asked for it the same day. And I've not touched the inhaler.
cashier
I bought 4 cases of diet coke. I was told I had to put all 4 on the counter to be scanned. If they must do this the cashier should lift them all to scan them as I shouldn't have to lift and carry them for this purpose. This happened on January 7, 2016. This only happens sometimes. I have no clue why do this. If they want to do that as I say I have no problem with the cashier lifting and scanning all 4 as I shouldn't have to lift them several times.
If you can lift them into the cart and your car, you can lift them onto the counter so the cashier can do their job.
Did you ask if they would left them for you?

I purchased several gift cards and 2 of the $50 Keg cards did not work. They would not scan or when entered manually at the restaurant would not work. So i paid $100 for the cards and then had to pay $100 out of my pocket at the restaurant. I have emailed and phoned Shoppers customer service several times, I have sent photos of the cards, the receipts and have proof from the Keg manager that the cards are faulty. The only responses I get are try entering them manually (been there done that) and since the cards are active there is nothing more they can do. I understand there are no refunds on gift cards, but it is not like I changed my mind. The circumstances are quite different here, and I want my money back, they haven't even offered a replacement card it's rediculous to say the least. I also sent an email to Loblaws with no response. I will now try the press.
staff
Wanting to purchase as much as possible with my rewards points. The cashier was not only rude and ignorant to my questions she was unreliable. This was the first time ever that I have tried to redeem my points. I received an email that states I have 115 dollars she told me that's impossible because I only have 85 dollars. I wish I could have had my phone on me to not only show her but ask why she could be so rude. If I'm understanding something wrong explain to me why, don't judge me to the point that the rest of the customers who are waiting behind me believe I'm holding them up when you could help me more. I will never return to this location in Bowmanville ontario
exchange practices
I purchased about $200 worth of stocking stuffers for Christmas at the location in Georgetown Ontario. Two items I purchased were cosmetics for my daughter. I purchased the wrong tint of foundation. She tried to exchange it dec. 27 for the right colour with the receipt but the sale price of 6.99 was not honoured and she had to pay the current price of 12.99 for each item. Very disappointed that even with receipt these items were not exchanged . They were still packaged and had not been opened all she wanted was the correct tint and straight exchange. In addition I had purchased her a mascara but did not have receipt for this item but it was still packaged but once again I picked up brown instead of black all she wanted was straight exchange but store would not even let her exchange it for the right colour. Over the past year I have spent enough at this shoppers location to earn $170 worth of shoppers points . Same day i returned a item without a receipt to Walmart with no hassle and they provided a store credit for full amount of item valued at $40. Given their fair policy you bet next time I have to choose between Walmart and shoppers for same item I will be buying it for Walmart for sure.

To whom it may concern,
Hello, my name is siavash amouzadeh, on december 24, 2016 my girlfriend and I walked in to the shoppers drug mart - eglinton square store number: 827 to purchase makeup for her. We were greeted and helped by one of the cosmeticians who was very helpful and helped my girlfriend ewa with all her questions and concerns. Unfortunately the foundation she wanted was not in stock. However, that is not the concern. The main reason for this complaint is due to the fact that while we were about to leave our contact with the cosmetician that was helping us another employee name sherid came from nowhere and stated we had to purchase an item as the cosmetician that was helping us had "missed her break" and also if a cosmetician does a full face makeup it is mandatory to purchase an item. Number 1, she did not get a full facial number 2, she was not told this, number 3, her approach and tone was very rude and unprofessional. This upset both my girlfriend and I to the point that I may never shop at another shoppers drug mart and inform as many people as we know about the incident.
