I have had numerous negative experiences with Skip the Dishes. This most recent one however will be my last. Skip the Dishes took money out of my bank account on February 22, 2021. This was after I cancelled an order on February 21, 2021. The afternoon of February 21 I had to use the "cancel order" feature on the Skip website. The website provided feedback informing me that my order had successfully been canceled. February 22 I checked my account balance online and found a debit from Skip the Dishes. It is dated February 22, 2021. I logged onto my Skip the Dishes account to view the order history. That order is listed as canceled. I initiated a chat session on Skip the Dishes' website. I have an emailed transcript of that conversation. I also contacted the fraud department of my bank and was talking live with a representative during much of the chat session. During that chat session I was given false information by the skip representative. I was also expected to accept skip credits instead of a refund. I insisted on a refund.
The skip rep told me that a refund had been processed but I would have to wait 5 to 10 days for the refund to show up on my bank account. I informed the rep that this wasn't acceptable. I was then informed that it was my banking institutions policy and not the fault of Skip the Dishes. I asked the fraud department rep, whom I was talking to live on the phone, if the statement regarding refund policies was correct. He said it was false. He also informed me several times that no pending refund was showing up on my account. He said that if there was a refund pending they could swiftly move to resolve the issue and push the refund forward. I asked the fraud rep if it was normal for a pending refund to take so much time. He said no but not entirely impossible either but that it was odd nonetheless. When these facts about the delay time and lack of pending refund were presented by me to the skip rep the chat session was ended. Not by me but by the skip rep. That person just simply ended the session. I have no idea now if I'm getting refunded. The phone number listed for Skip the Dishes is out of service and goes to a third party telephone directory service.
I can't believe how poor the customer service is at Skip the Dishes. I won't be using them from here on. I would just like stories like mine to go public. Perhaps that is what it will take for Skip the Dishes to stop operating in such an arrogant manner.

Completely agree. I just went through with the same experience on the chat feature. "Jerry" was simply not interested and left the chat. Its pathetic that this is the only way to communicate with customer service on this platform.
Jerry also refunded me 50% AFTER I told him not to and proceeded to tell me he's done everything he can.
These support reps are literally stealing and it is illegal.
Skip is the worst I ordered then they sent the wrong stuff and to get it replaced was talking for over an hour with chat who tried cutting me off then wouldn’t let me speak to a manager also requested a transcript from the chat did not get it so I contacted again to get a copy they said they pull send it and never did also had to cancel the replacement because they wanted me to wait around for hours and I had to go to work WORST SERVICE EVER
hello my name is john umm theres a problem im currently facing with skipthe dishes last night the skip the dishes charged me 47.40$ and the food was cold by the time it arrived here and the repersentive that i was speaking with goes by the name sharma she was completely rude and said oh this is not eligable for refund when its been 24 hours not 48hours because they say oh its 48 hours until we can do something and price gouging is a problem too
and not to mention they are headqautered from Vancouver Bc so maybe a citizen from Vancouver should go to the Vancouver police and explain that theres a bad business being run in Vancouver and get them arrested
