I have a complaint about 1 of your drivers in the Moncton nb area..all I have for a name is Himanshu...was order num277797097..he entered an apartment building to deliver food tonight with out a mask on..he delivered to same address last night and was told by me(apartment manager) that he was not aloowed inside the building without a mask.and the building is clearly marked on both doors with signs...I am looking into reporting him with to proper authorities but I do not have his full name and contact info...I am requesting info from you at this time...if you want to contact me my num is [protected] thank you

i ordered thai food through the skip the dishes website at 7.45 pm. When the the tracker showed that the driver had not even gone to the restaurant to pick up the food at 8.43, the restaurant said they had no record of skip the dishes ordering anything..it is now 8.50 and we have ordered pizza and are picking it up!I want a refund please. i will never use skip the dishes again.

I ordered my diner from a location 20 minutes from my house. I driver picked up my food and drove 15 minutes in the OPPOSITE direction! He finally realized he was going the wrong way and turned around, by the time my food got here it was soggy and cold. My family's whole meal of $115 was wasted! I'm extremly upset, how hard is it to use a GPS?! There was no contact information for my driver either so I couldn't even call and tell them they were going the wrong way. All I could do was helplessly watch the little car on the map drive farther and farther away from me. I would like a refund on the order as it was inedible, and you make us pre-tip the driver and clearly that was a mistake! From pick up to drop off took 50 minutes!

Reneged on discount coupon
I got an email message offering a $15 discount if I used the Skip the Dishes within 5 days. So, I ordered a meal from The Works Gourmet burgers today, April 2, using the email link. The total was $35 with the discount applied. However, the credit card they had on file had been compromised so it asked me to add another card, which I did. When I changed the card number it started a new order without the discount using all the previous data EXCEPT the discount.
So now the total was $49. I tried to cancel the order but because all the other data were correct it sped through anyway. I contacted the Skip the Dishes chat support while the order was still being delivered, who said that they could not apply the discount because the order had been processed but added that the $15 discount was still valid for future orders. However, I would not have placed this order without the discount. How hard would it have been to put a $15 credit on my card?
It is only a little thing but the problem is in the programming on their website. It retains some data but not all the data. And, in fairness, they should be responsible.

Hacked account, fraudulent orders and no refund
My "secure" account was hacked and the scammers changed the default language so I couldn't understand it. They also changed the city, address and phone number. Finally, they placed a huge order in my name. I watched on the app, the little car drive towards this address as I frantically searched the web for Skip's phone number. I finally got a chat going, but the bot (sadly not a human) wasn't fast enough to stop the delivery, and the payment went through. Through the bot, I was able to attain the phone number, followed by countless useless calls and emails. I could never reach the same employee twice and ended up talking to 8 different people. They kept assuring me that my privacy and satisfaction was of their utmost priority, though in the end, after a day of back and forth, in the end refused my refund. "For my security, they don't keep my credit card on file so they can't apply the refund to my credit card"? The hacker had no problem finding my credit cars! Nice "security". I offered to give Skip my credit card number so they could apply the credit to it and they said no! What? Further, how could they possibly deny a refund after THEY suspending my account for suspicious activity? They're the ones who notified me of this suspicious activity in the first place!
Then, a few days ago, when I logged into Skip a few days later to retrieve info a pop-up window appeared saying that a data-leak had occurred and thousands of customers' accounts were leaked. I let Skip know and they didn't care. Yikes!
This is the order of events that I sent to Skip the Dishes, which they have ignored.
MY FIRST EMAIL TO SKIP THE DISHES after many phone calls

Tonight, Tuesday March 23rd, 2 Fraudulent orders were placed through my account this evening. My name is ********
At 9:03 PST, I received the following email (in french?) from Skip the dishes: Les details de votre compte ont change
Certains des détails de votre compte ont été modifiés récemment. Si vous avez effectué ces modifications, vous pouvez ignorer ce courriel. Si vous nâ€TMÃates pas lâ€TMauteur de ces changements,  veuillez réinitialiser votre mot de passe et communiquer avec un membre de notre équipe de soutien immédiatement."
Someone hacked into my Skip the Dishes account and changed:
-the default language to french
-the phone number to 514-393-1133 (which is a Montreal number) and the delivery address to: 2385 Rue Alice Nolin, Montreal, QC, Canada
An order was placed: 265818131 in the amount of $64.89 the driver was Annour
I saw it immediately and went on the app to chat as it was very difficult to find your phone number, and I couldn't get the chat function on your app to work fast enough to cancel the order. It was delivered.
A second order was placed: 265819840 in the amount of $116.69. The driver was Abreham.
Immediately I changed my password and removed my credit cards from the app.
At 9:56 PST I phoned Skip the dishes after requesting the number in the chat, and spoke to your employee named Salama Nyirabajyinyanza who advised me that the refund would be issued within a few minutes after she followed up with the team, and that I would receive a call shortly after.
While waiting, I called Visa immediately at 10:13 pm PST and they advised that the charges were still pending and that Skip the Dishes could stop them.
After not hearing from Skip the dishes, I called again at 11:26 pm PST. I did not catch the name of this employee but she hung up on me.
At 11:36 I called again and I spoke to another employee named Supheet Brar who advised me that both payments had gone through and that the request for refund had been refused. Visa advised me that it was up to Skip the Dishes to refund this and that it was well within the capabilities of Skip the Dishes, as the payments were pending during our first call, but now had gone through.
She said that your team will contact me both by email and by phone within 48 hours. She also advised me to email you and so I am doing so in good faith that you will refund these two transactions. This was obviously not me. They changed the default to french - changed the phone number, the city and made orders that are uncharacteristic of the types of food I typically order you will see. (I have changed the language back to english and updated the information).
When I looked up the restaurants from which they ordered, I received this message:
Outside Delivery Zone
Delivery zones help maintain the quality of your order. Your address is outside of this restaurant's delivery zone.
This is another clue that it was not me. It is not matching with my current gps.
I look forward to hearing from you at your soonest convenience and expect that this matter will be resolved accordingly and that I will receive a full refund for these two orders. Please reply in writing by email so that I can have a record of our correspondence.

No refund and No food if I asked to cancel order

Before placing the order, app shows delivery time of 20-30 mins, so I proceeded to place the order.
As soon as payment was processed, I receive a text saying "we've got a lot on our plate" and delivery time suddenly changes to 48 minutes.
I reached out to chat support requesting cancellation since it had been less than 2 mins since I placed the order.
A rep named 'Obi' joins the chat, acknowledges my request, takes a minute to check status, comes back to chat and says this:
"Since the restaurant has already started preparing the order, you won't get a refund. However if you cancel the order, you won't get the food. What would you like to do?"
That was honestly the most ridiculous - no options given - self-centered - zero accountability - shameless, statement I've ever seen or heard from a business.
I respectfully told Obi that 'forced option' did not make sense to me and that I understood that there was no intention of helping me, present in the conversation.
I got a final response - "Thanks for contacting Skip. Have a great day!"
So who on earth would forfeit their money and still voluntarily choose to not get the food they paid for, because the delivery is going to take Twice as long?
Shame on you Skip. If you ever read this, the least I would expect is a full refund for this order.

15 minute order, took 44 minutes, food was cold, driver didn't follow instructions.
Situation: Order Placed 1627MST (Estimate 15 Minutes)
o - Driver Wasn't Moving: Started Chat 1635MST
- No response from chat, asking if the Driver was Actually On route.
o - Opened a Chat with Support@skipthedishes.com at 1746MST
- Response at 1820MST
- No Further replies as of 1855MST from the Team.
o - Driver Called for Directions at 1659MST
- As Directions were not followed (They are provided and outlined on file)
o - Food Arrived 1705MST (38 Minutes Later)
o - Opened Complaint from Email and Spoke with an Agent
- Agent didn't read what I had typed, and kept asking questions that had already been outlined in above chat windows.
- Asked for a Full Refund as the Food was cold, dry and drinks were now watered down, as they had been sitting for an extended period of time, waiting for the Courier.
- Asked for a Supervisor Twice during the chat, as the agent, simply didn't read what I had typed, which exacerbated the already volatile situation.
- Agent didn't put us in contact with a supervisor.
- Agent Abruptly cancelled Conversation and Wouldn't provide Full Refund. (Only Partial)
Desired outcome: Requested Resolution - Full Refund back to Credit Card, and NO tip for the courier.
Not receiving my order

Ordered my food to inside a pub (the waitress recommended us to do this because their kitchen was closed) and received the notification that our food was delivered. I even went out front when I saw the delivery driver was close, and didn't see a car drive up or anything. Never received the order, tried using the skip chat and that was a royal waste of time.

Trespassing
Although my instructions explicitly state that the food is to be left on the front porch, the driver trespassed into the back yard. The upstairs tenants have dogs and had they been outside, they would have attacked, leaving us open to liability. I complained via chat and was booted out of the chat. NOT OKAY WITH THE DRIVERS TRESPASSING!

Unauthorized Charges to my Visa
I placed an order with Skip and checked my visa statement the next day to find out they placed 3 additional charges in different amounts on my card.
I contacted Skip who advised that they didn't see those additional charges on their end and I should contact my credit card provider.
Ironically shortly after this conversation I received a message from Visa advising me to contact their fraud department as they believed my card had been compromised.
Visa advised that there were 2 charges made to my card in the UK totalling over $500 which they flagged. Visa agreed that this is no coincidence as this is a common occurrence with this app.
I will be deleting this app and no longer supporting this service.
Customer service and refund policy
I have had numerous negative experiences with Skip the Dishes. This most recent one however will be my last. Skip the Dishes took money out of my bank account on February 22, 2021. This was after I cancelled an order on February 21, 2021. The afternoon of February 21 I had to use the "cancel order" feature on the Skip website. The website provided feedback...

On Thursday, February 11, 2021 I ordered from OPA Greek Restaurant in Hillside Centre, Victoria BC. The address and date/time for the order were completed (Monday, February 15, 2021, 12:30 -1:00 p.m.)
The total amount was deducted from a gift voucher -- CODE WY84-DZBY-PZNU-V5WJ.
Food never arrived and there was no notification given as to why, though Victoria experienced a rare snow storm February 12-13.
Restaurant tells me that I must take up matter with your service.
Unauthorized use of my debit card
On February 21st, 2021, my Cash app card had two attempted charges that were declined. The charges were for $39.73. I never heard of Skip the dishes before this incident.
I would like my card information erased from your system. I appreciate your consideration and time. Thank you. Sincerely.

Driver blaring music out of his car before 9 am

Edmonton this morning prior to 9 am. He was absolutely blaring his music which woke me up in the bloody basement it was that loud. If this is any indication as to the sort of drivers you use I will not be using your services.

Delivery Driver
Last year, I had ordered food from skip the dishes and I specifically told the driver to keep his music down because I live in a quiet neighbourhood and my landlords, that lived above me were sleeping. My entrance is in the back for the house so I typically wait at the curb for my food, and this occasion thats exactly what I did.
After the delivery driver barrelled down my street with his subs on almost full blast he pulls over when he sees me. He then makes a phone call, which I thought he might be calling me, because I have in my directions that if I'm not outside, then call me. But he didn't call me. It was 2am and freezing cold temperatures at the time.
He proceeded to speak to someone through his car Bluetooth and I was embarrassed because it was loud enough for my neighbours to hear. After a 2 minute phone call, he hangs up and rolls down his window. He then picks up my order, which wasn't in a thermal bag and lifts it up across the car and to the passengers side door where I was standing closest to.
When I asked him to come out of the car because I was uncomfortable reaching into a strangers vehicle (as I've been a victim of sexual assault in a car. But obviously didn't feel I needed to explain myself) he looked at me with disgust and pulled the bag higher saying: "what are you going to make me get out of my car?! What is wrong with you".
Feeling scared at this point because he was becoming increasingly more aggressive in his tone and demeanour, I reached into his car and grabbed the bag as quickly as I could.
I said: "I'm going to call skip" and he started yelling at me causing a scene in my neighbourhood and cussing me out. He then peels away very loudly as he's screaming at my from his car.
I complained and they just said: "we will follow up with the courier". I followed up and no response. I am so sick of people walking all over me. And I'm not taking it anymore!
This was a more extreme event for them, but I was constantly having issues with drivers from this company. Please do a better job screening your employees!
Desired outcome: An update! A real apology? Some kind of assurance that these drivers are screened better.
Bad company image by delivery staff
HEW! Many Skip The Dishes Drivers are GROSS!... Pigs!
No Professionalism, Disrespectful! I have seen:
- Food bags never closed when shoved in the back seat, multiple times.
- Drivers in their pajamas, appearance disheveled.
- Food bag next to dogs or young kids in the back seat.
- Food bags put in the trunk at -25C (-13F)
Witnessed this behavior (various dates, locations, drivers in Alberta CA) either at my door during a delivery, or while inside restaurants, or outside restaurant parking lots while Skip Drivers pull up, enter, and leave a restaurant. This certainly makes a big impact on future personal choice of food delivery company.
I have never seen this with Uber Eats or DOORDASH... just saying...
Desired outcome: The desired solution: better training, understand what public image means, have a better work ethic and follow policies and procedures of the company they represent.

I put in an order yesterday, it didn't come. I contacted them and they said they'd look into it... and then signed out of the chat after telling me to message again in 10-12 minutes. Multiple attempts to send messages have now gone unresponsive and STILL NO FOOD. I can't even find a phone number to complain to a human being. I wanted my food and they decided to ignore me and I will find a way to make them respond, even if I have to go to the authorities to hold them responsible

Driver from skip the dishes
Almost got run over my a skip driver with my kid I front of Red Robin Restaurant in Kelowna. When I told the driver he needs to slow down and allow pedestrians to cross he started yelling and swearing.
After continuing to swear he saw someone he knew in the parking lot and continued to hurl profanities while approaching me.
Made a complaint also to the store manager in Kelowna B.C. - Orchard Plaza.
I noticed the driver also had a new driver tag on his car.
This occurred at about 2:35pm on Saturday January 30th, 2021
I have attached a photo of the drivers BC license plate.
Desired outcome: I don’t think he should be a delivery driver but regardless, needs to learn the rules of the road and general respect.
