I was charged for a month that I didn't use the service. I called the phone number listed for customer service and it went directly to a service called Just Answer. They were not able to provide any customer service assistance such as cancelling and refunds. They could not even provide me with an actual costumer service phone number for Sling and I was directed to send an email for faster service.
Today I called again and was told that it was too late to issue a refund because I had not contacted them within the appropriate window of time... even though they admitted their phone number was hard to find and was told they don't respond to email. The email address I replied to was an actual email address - not a no-reply - and I never got a bounce-back email.
I am certain I am not the only one having this issue and I'm curious how much extra money Sling has made from purposely putting an incorrect number all over their website. I also googled looking for the phone number and still couldn't find it.
I called the phone number provided and the first option was for a text for the chat feature - there was no option for customer service. i had to press 0 several times to get to an agent and he refused to transfer me to his manager or anyone higher up.
