Unprofessional Service and Incorrect Order – Smoothie King in Lawrenceville, GA.
I ordered two smoothies from Smoothie King at 3375 Sugarloaf Pkwy in Lawrenceville, GA through Uber Eats (Order #38385). As a loyal customer of over 15 years, I always order the same Banana Berry Treat with a substitution for raspberries, and my husband gets the Strawberry Lean smoothie, both in 32oz sizes. This time, the order was delivered with a 40oz smoothie that appeared to be vanilla and a 32oz strawberry-colored smoothie. I questioned the Uber driver about the size difference, but he confirmed he delivered what the store provided. My husband and I work remotely, so he took the 32oz smoothie (strawberry-colored) to his office without further inspection. I called the store to report the issue and spoke with Jordan Watkins (who stated he was the supervisor), who was extremely unprofessional. He claimed that he "did me a favor" by upsizing my order to 40oz, which I never requested. He also argued that I didn’t ask for bananas in my smoothie (incorrect, see attached order), despite my clear instructions to substitute raspberries with mangoes. No one informed us about the changes, nor was there a note or receipt explaining the alterations. When I asked for a refund or the option to return the incorrect smoothie, Jordan refused, insisting that the 40oz was my husband's Strawberry Lean (vanilla-colored), which it clearly wasn’t. He repeatedly interrupted our conversation to assist other customers, making it clear that my concerns were not a priority. He also refused to provide a contact number for headquarters and claimed he was also the GM, implying that no further action could be taken. I’m deeply disappointed by this experience. I paid nearly $12 for a smoothie that I couldn't drink due to their error. I expect better communication and customer service, especially as a long-time customer. I’m requesting assistance to resolve this issue, as it’s unacceptable to receive such poor treatment and incorrect orders without any effort to make it right.
Recommendation: I would not recommend ever returning to this location due to the unprofessional service. I am filing an official complaint with Smoothie King to allow them the opportunity to correct this issue.
New app experience has been horrible
With the initial upgrade, everyone was kicked out. The servers didn't recognize phone numbers when ordering at the restaurant. Now, I'm still unable to reset my password. Getting kicked out of an app and then blocking the ability to reset your password is absolutely nuts. My phone number and email are unable to be used for a new account, because they are locked up in my original account that I've had and used for 5+ years (along with all my points). This is seriously the worst app change up that has rolled out in years, across the board.
Recommendation: Don't even attempt the app until this entire fiasco is resolved
Mixed Feelings about Smoothie King
My experience with Smoothie King has been a mix of highs and lows. While I appreciate the variety of smoothie options on the menu and the convenience of the locations, the consistency in taste and quality can be inconsistent at times. The pricing seems a bit high for the portion sizes offered. The customer service is generally friendly, but there have been instances of longer waiting times during busy hours. Overall, it's a decent place for a quick smoothie fix, but there is room for improvement.

Terrible app - lost points
I hate that smoothie king has great drinks but their app has scammed me out of my points twice now. Once when they made the transition from the old app to the new app and I had built up a large amount of points; and now once again yesterday I was getting a smoothie and I noticed they said you can transfer points from your phone number to recover lost points. When I had done this I currently had over 3,000 points and once I “transferred” my points via phone number, it literally took away 2,000 points. You would think that maybe it would add the 1,000 (which by the way was not nearly as much as I had before the app transition) but it literally took away more of my points instead. Smoothie king, you love to scam your customers out of their points time and time again. Just bring back the punch card because this whole system does not work. Obviously. You won’t go out of business for giving your loyal customers a free smoothie for every 10 drinks.
SO MANY BUGS
This is the buggiest food app I have ever used, and it’s been like this for years! The app has just continuously sucked and it makes so difficult to order. One time my points in the app went down to -50 after I used a reward. The cart section of the app is where most of the trouble is. God forbid you try to add two different sizes of the same smoothie to your cart, the user literally has to figure out a workaround for things like that. And if you manage to get those two different sized smoothies in your cart, good luck making any changes. The app does not properly register which smoothie your are editing, and will apply your changes to a different smoothie. I frequently will have two small hulks and one medium hulk in my cart, will try to delete the medium hulk, and the app will delete my two smalls instead. That’s a regular occurrence for me and has caused me to order incorrectly or order more than I needed. This app is seriously infuriating to use.
App Used to be Better
I happened to be taking my kid to his favorite store GameStop when I notice this little smoothie place next door. I decided to stop in and see what it was about. I’m glad I did. However the price for a single smoothie is outrageous. If you wanted to come here everyday to get a smoothie at least once a day you would be spending a small fortune. I tried it for about 2 weeks and decided it was way too much frivolous spending for me. Now as for my title about the app being better, it was so much better in the past when it first came out. Even had a little scratch off game where every time you checked into the store you would have a chance to win money off or possibly a free smoothie. Reward points are hard to rack up especially if you decided to cut your spending limits here like I did. Before they changed the app up I was spending a lot more at SK even though I decided to visit less I was still in the store at least 3 times a week where previously it was daily sometimes twice a day. Now it’s 2 to 4 times a month.
New App New Problems
The most recent update to the rewards app caused multiple issues that weren’t present with the old app - only providing a glossier looking app to be frustrated with. Neither myself or the employees understand how the rewards in the application work, causing confusing at checkout. Additionally, during the conversion from the old app to the new app, I somehow lost all of my points that are unredeemable. Referring a friend has become much more cumbersome than it was in the past.
The biggest issue with the application is the company promoting the update as “a more rewarding” app, yet the app has made it harder to gain points. There is now a tier system in place. The prior app had $1 reward for every $10 spent at the store. Now - the first tier requires you to spend $12.50 to receive $1 off - and the second tier (which requires spending $350 at the store) only gets you back to the original rewards app discount..not rewarding any return customers for their loyalty.
Food for thought: A NutriBullet is $30 at your local shopping center.
Toggle rewards is stupid
The whole system to use your points is frustrating and misleading. You can only use 1 reward at a time which seems pretty ridiculous. If I earned it why the hell cant I use it? And your rewards show up as part of your balance which makes it very misleading.
For example I had a $7 coupon and two $2 coupons so my balance read $11. At first I thought wow that’s great, in theory it’ll use my rewards balance before it charges my card right? Wrong. First off it will only use one reward at a time and if you have them all toggled on it seems you have no choice in which one it uses. Some you don’t even have a choice in whether or not you can turn it off or on. For example one of the $2 coupons I couldn’t toggle off, so even if I wanted to toggle on only the $7 one to use it I didn’t have that option.
The whole system just seems stupid. Don’t include my reward in my balance if I can’t even use them. And actually let me chose which reward I wanna use instead of forcing the one of least value on me just so I’m forced to come back before my others expire. Like way to take advantage of loyal customers.
Please Fix the Check-in!
I've been using this app since it was first made available in the App Store. I go to Smoothie King a LOT so this app is great for keeping track of points. In the beginning there was some trouble with scanning but I think all those issues have been fixed.
The problem I experience is with the check in feature. It takes way to long to load and check in. Then once I finally do get checked in and try to play the kings match game - it only works about a 1/3 of the time. For the other 2/3 - as you tap to reveal the images only a blank white screen appears. And even though they are all matching (since they are all blank white) it says sorry you lose.
I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. I have even gotten a new phone and it still does this. Also, I have noticed that it does not matter if you share on Facebook or Twitter, your chances of winning a coupon do not increase. It could just be because I go there so much, but I have only gotten a coupon 5 times out of at least 200 trips to Smoothie King.
Please fix the app so that the check in feature is actually worth the trouble of checking in.
Thanks!
REFUNDS WAS NEVER GIVEN BACK
I tried doing a delivery order and was never followed up with the situation of the store in my area. Which was they where on low on staff, but my ordered was confirm. We waited almost 3 hours for door dash to take our ordered but to call and say they never had our ordered after we called again and ask what happened when the delivery driver said it was coming. (Then cancel ordered)
Instructions on smoothie king app says to call the store. We have called multiple times and finally but nobody picked up. Finally we decided to drive to the stores location but to realize they had a sign that they are open but we have to “order online due to low staff”. We are stuck in the situation of not being able to communicate with the store. In person and through phone. Because the front store was lock. We emailed our situation through smoothie king website. They have followed with our situation and have ask for our confirmation ordered but they have not given our refund back. I use to work in food and beverage, including smoothie king. Taking online orders can should have a cancellation button but they just take your money and left you on read for weeks
Would be a 5 star if I could add my missed points
This might be my first written review ever. This is junk. I don’t know if it was left out intentionally so people can’t redeem if they happen to forget about their points. I spend $10.86 on my order every time and I want my points. If the problem isn’t fixed then I’ll be calling corporate every time to get them added. If they can’t get added I won’t be buying. ♂️ Can’t take that feature away and think people will be alright with it. Once this issue is resolved with a new update I will gladly change to a 5 star.
Ooh yeah let me add to this review. My points seemed to be cut in half when I transferred them over to the new app. So if that’s how y’all are doing business now, and y’all think y’all are going to change the point system and try to make us loyal customer purchase double the amount of smoothies to get a free one... lol then you’ve got it all wrong. Until someone clears the air through a response I will not be buying or supporting “The King” anymore. I can take this $11 a day somewhere else and I’m sure other people will too.
The money you guys are trying to save by changing the point system, you will lose even more in loyal customers.
Has Potential to Be a Must-Have App
I love the design of this app, but there are a few areas that fall short for me.
1. The reward system itself doesn’t drive consumer loyalty. Smoothie King needs stronger incentives.
2. Emailed offers (which begin to arrive in your inbox after you’ve registered on the app) do not include instructions on how to redeem the promotion. I supposedly have a free 20 oz smoothie calling my name… how do I claim it? And what would prevent me from showing the cashier the same email over and over if there are no disclaimers or fine print?
3. Most frustrating of all is not being able to schedule an advance order during closed hours. I have to place my order during my commute if I want my order to be ready to pick up on my way to work in the morning, which is highly inconvenient.
I love Smoothie King. I see value in an app rewarding customers for their loyalty and the ability to pick up your order without the wait. And the smoothies are delicious and nutritious enough to keep me coming back. For now I only plan to use the app to have an in-depth look at the menu as needed. If a few tweaks were made to strengthen the overall functionality, this would be a must-have app.
Absolutely corrupt
I’ve been going to smoothie king for several months now since one opened up just a stone’s throw from us.
Yesterday the girl at the counter was shocked when she found out that I hadn’t received any of my rewards points.
She realized the other girls hadn’t showed me how to use the app when I came in, but then she went above and beyond what the others had done to show me how to take the receipts I had and go back in the app and manually enter the receipts to earn those points. We did that.
Then today I receive and email that basically says “Sorry, we were unable to process your submission for the rewards points.”
When dealing with an underhanded company, I’d expect it. I didn’t expect it here, but I’m going to assume that smoothie king had nothing to do with this. Instead it is whoever created the app.
So, your corrupt or incompetent actions (has to be one or the other) just cost smoothie king quite a bit of business as I’ll now take our business (as well as my company’s business) down the street to your competitor’s establishment.
Too bad the designers of this app don’t work as hard as that young lady at the counter yesterday. She was truly impressive, unlike your app’s capabilities.
App. needs work, bigtime
I like Smoothie King quite a bit, but I find the app. quite complicated and unintuitive to use. Number 1) there is no “Cart” button. There have been so many times I started an order, went back to look at the selection of Smoothies, and then couldn’t figure out how to get to the Cart! Number 2) I once selected to reorder an old order from the app. I hit the submit button and nothing happened that indicated I made the order (i.e. no confirmation or e-mail). I checked the order history and didn’t see anything. I subsequently manually entered the order in the app. and subsequently received an e-mail confirmation for my manually entered order. When I showed up at the store, there were 2 orders with my name on it. Long story short, the “reorder” was from a previous web order, which picked up on the app. I tried to explain the situation to the store clerk who didn’t know what to say. I showed her my pending credit card transactions, one of which was “Smoothie King” and the other which showed “Level up Smoothie King”, both of which was done through the app.! I decided it really wasn’t her fault the app. is terrible so I just took the $40 worth of Smoothies when I only wanted $20 worth of Smoothies! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
YOU GUYS ARE SHADY
This is my second or third time trying to contact your company. I can’t believe how shady your company is. I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time, and every time I try to select the page where I can see my points. The page keeps automatically retracting, so I can’t select or see them. This has been going on for months and has cost me hundreds of dollars in rewards points. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app 10 times. I’ve created a completely separate account, complained to the store employees which are clueless about your app and can’t find a number to call your company. I run a half $1 million a year company and my customer support is 1000 times better than yours. I have 2,500 5 star reviews. How does the company like yours have no way to get a hold of anyone? I have both the toll-free and a local number and actually care about my customers experience and enjoy receiving their feedback. I’m about to cancel my account and start buying smoothies. Somewhere else like tropical smoothie, where they actually have a number and I can get a hold of someone when I have an issue. Stop being shady! If this complaint remains on answered, I am going to social media and I’m gonna do a YouTube video on it with video showing what your app is doing.
Gets worse each update
Points system is terrible. They some how managed to make it even worse. Greed has taken over can't even get a free smoothie anymore if it's over 6 dollars. Laughable. Why even bother anymore. App is slow, login system is dumb. If you hit reset password you have to again retype in entire email address. Not very user friendly like almost all iPhone apps are today.
The lines on location also aren't going down. Waited 17 minutes for my last smoothie. Very unprofessional people working at smoothie king. It's always high school or college kids. The first two times I went to the Daphne al location they got my order completely wrong. I actually had to stop and say "really?". Could be such an amazing product but bad corporate greed and bad management = bad experience. Even if the product is great the service isn't which makes me not want to go back.
Some steps for improvement. Follow Starbucks like point system. Follow Starbucks employee training. Follow Starbucks ability to repeat the order after you give it. Follow Starbucks and not jacking up my order twice in a row. More mature employees. High school kids will take minimum wage but devalue your customer service. An adult was on location when I went and I couldn't believe how bad the service was, terrible management.
Discounts NOT GREAT…here’s why!
I use your mobile app out of convenience to order ahead. I saw a discount that was ‘Buy 2 get the 3rd one free’ with some minor stipulations as to the size of the smoothies. The discount was to expire the next day so i wanted to order for me and 2 others. Followed all the stipulations to get the discount of the 3rd smoothie to be free and it did not come out as free. I instead got the lower discounts applied to my order instead of the better discount/deal being applied to my order. If this is how you have people use your app you should not be offering a 3rd smoothie for free deal. A value that is much greater than the other deals that were applied to my order! While on my way to the store I called the store and asked them to cancel my order just so i can re-order without any other deals applied. The employee told me it didn’t even pop on her screen yet and she already had 5 orders ahead of me and i would have to wait 15-20 minutes before she could even cancel my order. I got to the store and she said she had not had the chance to cancel the order yet so i waited inside the store. Again, the inconvenience of it all because your app does not apply the best deal first. What should have been maybe 10 minutes was more like 30 minutes because of the wait and hassle of the app.
New Update = New Problem = Lost Points
I NEVER write a review, in fact this is my first one to be exact. This incident deeply upset me a few days ago so I decided to share. Our gym is fortunate enough to have a Smoothie King inside. It was the day before Christmas so they closed early and wanted to leave. The line started to get long really quick and it was only a young girl when I walked up in line. Soon a man came up and they were backed up. The man told the girl to take orders and he will make them. She was obviously flustered (maybe because she was new). He sort of pushed her to the side and started to take the orders and she was told to prepare the ones already started. After I ordered my smoothie I asked the man and young girl how do I redeem my points since it’s a new app. She said she has no idea and he said come back because we don’t know anything about the new app. They didn’t ask for my number so I really thought I could just add it later. Looking at the app there is all of a sudden not a way to add a “missed visit” credit towards my points. I tried looking online “how to” add points but nothing appeared. I come here very often and would like that aspect put back. During the transition of this new app, it seems some token elements were removed. Not a good move. I want my points. Please add this feature back.
Horrible App, Great Reward System
If Smoothie King wants to have an app they should legitimately invest in fixing the bugs in their software. There have been multiple times the app refuses to load, produces an error, crashes, etc. For instance, say you go to place an order online, and you just want the same as your last order with a minor modification, so you click on reorder on that order. It loads the item automatically to your cart. You go to edit the item one of two things happens: the item either will not let you edit or upon saving the updated item details it will bring you back to your cart with an error saying SK has updated their menu and you will need to readd everything in your cart. You MUST clear your cart and start over to get past this glitch. That is just one of the many, many software bugs within this trash can of an app. There have been multiple times I attempted to order SK but simply gave up because their app is borderline nonfunctional.
Have no idea what another reviewer is talking about, there is a pretty generous two month limit to the $2 coupon, not 24 hrs, and you can combine multiples of them. The coupons have always been this way. What the other user experienced is not a feature of the app or reward system, but sounds more like a glitch. The rewards are pretty generous 100 points per $1, 2500 points till you earn a coupon, once at Champion tier it is 125 per $1, so you earn coupons a little faster. It’s worth being a part of the reward system but sometimes it feels like the coupons just barely make it worth messing with the app at all. So much time wasted with this app.
This app only works about 50% of the time
I love smoothie king but this app is terrible. If you place an order and need to add something to your order and try to, for example add another smoothie, the app will not allow it for several minutes or sometime not for a very long time. I often order using the app from work because I have a limited time to go pick up smoothies for multiple people, but if someone wants to add another smoothie after the order has been placed, the app will say “you just placed an order, try again later”, and will not let you order so then you end up placing the last order at the store which defeats the whole purpose of ordering online to save time.
Another issue with the app is that I cannot use my rewards on the app. I go to the rewards section and switch the reward that I want on but at the end it still tries to charge me full price and the only way I can get the reward is to go into the store and order, which takes away from the convenience that the app is supposed to provide. I have had several rewards expire because I couldn’t get them to work on the app and just went ahead and paid for it to save time. Also, why do the rewards have to expire anyway? If I’m ordering enough smoothies to accumulate rewards then what’s the harm in leaving them on my account for me to use whenever I’m ready. Clearly I order from this place often enough to accumulate rewards so I probably don’t need incentivized to buy smoothies.
Sometimes the app just doesn’t work AT ALL.
Anyway Smoothie King, I love you but at $10 a smoothie and considering what you pay your mostly teenage staff, I think you can afford to update your app to make it more user friendly for your customers.

I’ve been to this store for a few years and never have I experienced it as slow as yesterday. There were 3 people working. A friend and I arrived at Smoothie King (SK) at approximately 7:20pm on 1/23/24, and parked to get a smoothie while dropping off my friend. I saw the towing signs but knowing I was getting a smoothie I knew I should be safe to park. I walked my friend to their work (right next to the SK), then went into SK to get my drink (have the receipt). I walked out...

First, thanks for the Veteran's Day Offer >> Smoothie King -- Active-duty military and veterans get a free smoothie from one of three red, white, and blue smoothies at participating locations on November 11 with a valid ID.
I showed up at the Jacksonville, NC site on Western Blvd around 1200 and was told that the offer didn't start until 1400. Nothing in the published offer said anything about valid hours. As a result, I missed out on the free smoothie.
Desired outcome: Would like to receive the free smoothie with no strings (valid hours) attached.

Fraudulent Account Usage
Today my account was used without my consent for an online purchase. I called the store location where the transaction took place and they refused to help me. Finally the manager reluctantly took my contact info and transaction details. I am disputing the charge with my financial institution but Smoothie King needs to address this issue. The app allows one to change the account password without additional verification. Please contact me asap to resolve this matter.
Desired outcome: Refund of fraudulent transaction and better app security to prevent this from happening in the future.
smoothie/payment
I went through the line today to get a smoothie and a free sample. I never get the $2 off and it just rolls off my card eventually. I pointed out to the attendant that I didnt get the $2, and she said I couldnt get the sample and the $2 off. She closed the window and ignored me till I didn't move! They also didnt put the smoothie in a foam cup as I requested and it was hot and unpalatable pretty quickly.
She didnt have on a name tag.
I think the app needs work!
It was today probably just after noon.
Thank you.
Desired outcome: Please refund and I would like an apology. Can you please straighten the app out so that it works? Thanks.
40oz motabilism boost
On 8/9/23 i went to Smoothie king at 4464 Fowler St, Unit 103, Fort Myers, FL [protected]. I go in once a week and but this and price is about $11 +. On the 9th i went in and they said they did not have 40oz cup so they told me i could get two 20oz cups. I said okay and they then charged me about an additional $2. Cost was $13.40. I questioned this and they said they have to charge more because of inventory.
I have had several businesses and would never do this and imagine the ladies there just did not understand they should not have done this. This was the first time i did not leave a tip.
Desired outcome: It would be nice to get a credit. You can contact me at [protected]@yahoo.com I go by Z. [protected]

Awful app
I patronize smoothie king at least once a week. When I first downloaded this app I was able to save my receipts so I could add my points. Now for some reason I’m unable to do that. Even when I put in my phone number I experienced difficulty with the app. It keeps saying it doesn’t recognize my number. This has been a huge disappointment and one of the reasons why I’m considering not going to smoothie king as often. What’s the point of patronizing a business if you are unable to use your loyalty points?! What a waste!

No mobile ordering
This app is like a blast from the past turn digital. No Smoothie King I don’t want a digital menu and nothing short of a punch card.
I want to order my smoothie. Learn me. Know me. Don’t make me sign up for your stupid app and not be able to help me if I don’t remember the password. Help me. Make me feel loyal like Starbucks even though I can count on 1 hand the amount I go in 1 year.
Please fix this or you will lose the efficient millennial who don’t want to stand around and talk while waiting for you to make our smoothie.

I hate it here
The idea of ordering ahead and earning rewards is great and that is why I gave 2 stars. I got the app specifically for the $5 coffee smoothie. Imagine my surprise when I added a coffee smoothie to my cart with a $1.25 add on, which resulted in a $6.25 subtotal and $0.38 tax. Why was the grand total $8.62?! Seems like smoothie king isn’t a math king. I recently had some dental work done, so smoothies are a big part of my diet right now and it definitely adds up. Check the math on your purchases folks. Smoothie king, learn how to add!

Pointless
I’ve bought upwards of 20 smoothies by this point without receiving any rewards. I’ll keep trying because I’m stubborn and I’ve spent a lot of money on smoothie king so I would like to someday get a little benefit.
I understand that this is a buisness and they really do not have to have a rewards system in place, but if they’re going to continue with it, it could use some reevaluating. Why would they spend the time/money making an app that doesn’t do very much? I’m not sure. But I’ll keep hanging on and hope they try to make it better!

I love Smoothie King’s smoothies. However, their app is IMPOSSIBLE right now! I got a new phone & downloaded the app. When trying to log in, I forgot my password so I requested for a new one. Once they sent me a temporary password, I was able to log in. But when I tried creating a new password, the update button would NOT WORK! I went through this process like 4 times & still ended up with the same results! I hope this issue is solved soon. I have over 5,000 points & I would hate to have to create a new account all together with 0 points.

Terrible App!
I went into Smoothie King and they told me about the app so I figured I might as well download it. Well, it has definitely not been beneficial to me at all. I ordered 2 smoothies the first time using it and got my points fairly quickly. A few days later I ordered two smoothies and never received my points. A week later I ordered a smoothie and still never received those points either. What’s the purpose of having an app to gain points and get rewards if it doesn’t function properly? Definitely a waste of an app and I will be removing it from my phone.

Lost a 7 dollar reward and app crashes on redeemed
Had 8000 points to use on a large smoothie. Ordered it and while I was in the drive thru, redeemed the code. Driver in front took 10 min, phone fell asleep. Woke it when I got to the window, clerk scanned phone and asked for full price. I told her I just redeemed the 7dollar coupon, but she couldn’t find it. Trying to go to “Redeemed” to find the code on the app crashes it. 70-80 dollars in smoothies to get this is beyond ridiculous. Either the clerk lied and robbed my coupon or this sorry excuse for an app lost it. Either way, SK dropped the ball.

Unable to add receipts or sub ingredients
Used to be able to add purchases from receipts that didn’t scan app. I went thru a drive thru and spent over $40 on smoothies in one trip and the cashier said she couldn’t scan for my points thru drive thru but I can add the receipt to my profile and get points. Unfortunately this is not true. Adding purchase after the fact to get the points no longer exist. Think I will check out Tropical Smoothie and see if they have better app/program.
In regards to subbing ingredients, it will be a great benefit to be able to sub or remove certain ingredients for people with food allergies.

Better looking app, terrible payment system
I’m glad you guys updated the look and feel of the app. Great job.
I hate that you want me to load money onto the app. While I understand this will make you more money, it’s NOT more convenient for the customer. It’s a pain that I’m going to load my card info onto another app. Not happening. I’m not going to add $10 for an $8 smoothie. It’s just a mind game for me to come back and purchase more later. Psychologically tricking your customers and playing mind games is not okay.
Today is the last day I’ll be shopping at smoothie king. I was coming 3 times a week.
Again, great development in the app.

Manual adding points is a joke
Thought I’d try this app and didn’t realize I needed to have an employee scan it before I completed my order. I’m used to more user-friendly apps that make it easy to scan a receipt and automatically get credit for a purchase. I assumed this one would be the same ... was I wrong!
It’s a 3-step process: enter the date and time, the subtotal and then take a picture of the white receipt. Then it must be manually reviewed to receive your points. What’s with this madness? It is clearly possible to streamline and automate this process, as many other food service apps are doing this. Dev team, you can do better!

Worst Rewards System EVER
What is the point of having the cashier scan my code if the points aren’t going to be added? Do you think any of your customers enjoy waiting while a rewards member asks the cashiers to scan their code multiple times? How do you think your cashiers feel when the customers are basically telling them they are not doing their job correctly bc I can’t get my points and I ask them to rescan my code MULTIPLE times? Y’all need to fix your system, test it, then roll it it out for the public. The current app should be an embarrassment to the company. Talk to the Starbucks’ mobile team, they know how to make it work!

Worthless
Most importantly, I got the app to earn and redeem points for discounts and a free smoothie but every time I check for my points they’ve disappeared. Sometimes they don’t show up at all. The app crashes if you try to see your earning and use activity. App runs slow to the point I just go to the website to look at the menu. As of today, April 27, it says the app’s last update was 4 months ago. You need to get it together and fix these issues. You’ve got tons of angry customers listing these same issues here in the reviews. FIX IT. I should have earned 2 free smoothies by now. I’ve decided to make my smoothies at home now.

Too clunky, cheap with rewards
This app isn’t very good but I’m a sucker for any rewards system so I keep it on my phone.
1- you cant earn points while also using points. If I use the $1 off which I earned, I don’t receive points on the other $4-7 I spent on that smoothie.
2- my points only register half the time. Every other time I go to the store and have the cashier scan my qr code, the purchase never shows up on my activity and I never earn the points.
3- most recently I received an email saying they had accidentally given some people, including myself, double points so they would be deducting them out of our accounts. Great, thanks. I’m sure those points don’t even make up for all the purchases that failed to register correctly at time of purchase.

Terrible app
This is a terrible app! I went to SK today, had 2500 points, and redeemed 2000 of them for $2 off. I had them redeemed, the barcode screen up ready to be scanned, the girl fixed all three smoothies that I ordered and brought them all three together BEFORE she took my payment. So by that time, my screen on my phone had timed out and went black. So when I activated my screen, the reward was gone. Couldn’t find it and the girl tells me it thinks that I’ve used it. That’s TERRIBLE. No one else has a system like that with their apps! And not only that but when I go into the app to view my redeemed rewards, the whole app closes out every time and I’m not able to view them. I can view my earned rewards! But not the redeemed. Terrible app.

Thank you for your feedback regarding our Lawrenceville, GA location. While we value your long-standing patronage, your account of events seems to misrepresent our service standards and policies.
Let's be clear: the 40oz upgrade was a courtesy extended to you at no extra charge. It's puzzling that you're complaining about receiving more product for the same price. This gesture of goodwill seems to have been misinterpreted as an error on our part.
Your claim about the smoothie contents is questionable. Our staff are extensively trained in our recipes and substitution protocols. It's more likely that your expectations were misaligned with our standard practices, rather than our team making multiple errors on a single order.
Regarding Jordan's interactions, our staff are trained to balance customer inquiries with operational efficiency. Your interpretation of his professionalism may be colored by your frustration with an order that didn't meet your specific expectations.
Your attempt to return a consumed product for a refund is not in line with our policies, nor is it a reasonable request in the food service industry. We trust you understand why this cannot be accommodated.
We are, however, launching a full investigation regarding this location and will follow up shortly. This is to ensure that our high standards are consistently met, not because we believe your account is entirely accurate.
