Food Network Mixed Feelings About FoodNetwork

As I browse through the reviews of FoodNetwork, I see a mix of opinions that reflect the diverse experiences of viewers. Some express disappointment in the shift towards reality shows and the dominance of certain personalities like Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay. Others appreciate shows like Pioneer Woman and Barefoot Contessa for their traditional cooking approach. The channel seems to have lost its balance between informative cooking shows and competitive programs. While some viewers find certain hosts loud and obnoxious, others still enjoy the content provided. It appears that the network needs to find a better balance in its programming to cater to the varied tastes of its audience.

Food Network Cannot file an complaint or call with a complaint

I have never done this before, but I tried to file a complaint about Valerie Bertinelli being booted off of the Kids Baking championship. They made almost impossible to make a complaint online, so I tried to call the number listed on the internet. DOESN'T EVEN RING! I watched that show because I really enjoyed Valerie and Duff and thought the show was great because of the matchup. I watched other Food Network shows too. WatchED being the key word because I will not be watching the Food Network anymore.

Recommendation: Good luck trying to make a complaint on line or by calling.

Food Network Kardea Brown

I am just expressing my opinion as I do not understand why you are featuring Karedea Brown on so many shows. Personally I cannot watch her. She is so fake and extreme. She is overly dramatic in her responses just not pleasant to watch. I used to love Kids Baking Challenge but cannot watch it or any other show that she is on. Valerie Bertinelli was so much better as a host and to watch. I don't know who decided on hiring Kardea Brown, however, in my opinion it was not a good move. She is just not likeable or watchable.

Food Network Programing

Why do you think we need to see Guy Fieri on 5 different shows, so tired of seeing same old thing and he is past history. Please cutback, I have stopped watching the Food channel because too much Guy

Additionally new shows are not that good, Selena Gomez, very poor. Please add some substance to the network. Too many competition shows and most not entertaining or informative. Been watching since day one!

Food Network Food network pinch rocks glasses

I purchased a four piece set of Food Network Rocks Glasses about a year ago from Kohl's and they kept breaking when washed in the dishwasher. Last November 2022, I purchased an additional set of the same product. Two of the four glasses have broken when washed in the dishwasher, even on gentle cycle. The UPS code on the last box purchased is: [protected]. Style #56018. These were clear glass. It claims that these are suppposed to be dishwasher safe, but evidentally they are not. The only thing that I can think of is there was or is a manufacturers defect.

Claimed loss: Price of the Food Network Pinch Rocks Glasses at Kohl's was $19.99 for a set of four. In total of the (2) sets of four that I purchased, a total of 4 have broken.

Desired outcome: You should be able to look up my purchase of these glasses from Kohl's and I would like a refund for the (4) four broken glasses.

Food Network Food Network nonstick cookware set 10 piece the perfect set

I received this set of Cookware for my birthday. October 8th. In this short month they have peeled, burnt to my stovetop, and outside scratches. I have an electric smooth top stove. I only use the plastic/silicone utensils. I am very disappointed. I am including pictures of what has happened this last month. I am asking for a refund, or a better replacement set. As a gift I do not have a receipt, though if you look at these pictures you will see it was purchased from Kohls. I appreciate your help with this.

[protected]@aol.com

Claimed loss: 129.99 over the last 4 weeks.

Desired outcome: Please respond. I do not have any of my old cookware, and this set is worse every time I use them.

Is Food Network Legit?

Food Network earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%

Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.

Our conclusion: After a detailed review, ComplaintsBoard finds Food Network to be a trustworthy company. Although there's a 2% resolution rate for customer complaints, which deserves attention, Food Network is known for their high standards and safety. If you're thinking about dealing with Food Network, it's wise to check how they handle complaints.

We found clear and detailed contact information for Food Network. The company provides a physical address, 2 phone numbers, and 2 emails, as well as 5 social media accounts. This demonstrates a commitment to customer service and transparency, which is a positive sign for building trust with customers.

The age of Food Network's domain suggests that they have had sufficient time to establish a reputation as a reliable source of information and services. This can provide reassurance to potential customers seeking quality products or services.

Foodnetwork.com has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.

Food Network's website appears to be focused on art and entertainment. While this can be a great source for finding creative inspiration, it's important to verify the legitimacy of the site and its content before investing time or money. However, it's important to take the time to research the site and verify its legitimacy before making any purchases or investments.

Food Network as a website that uses an external review system. While this can provide valuable feedback and insights, it's important to carefully evaluate the source of the reviews and take them with a grain of salt.

We looked up Food Network and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

  • While Food Network has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 2% of 231 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
  • Multiple low-rated websites are found on the same server. There could be such as technical issues or poor website optimization. To determine if the websites are part of a scam, it's important to review them and look for signs of fraudulent activity.
  • We conducted a search on social media and found several negative reviews related to Food Network. These reviews may indicate issues with the company's products, services, or customer support. It is important to thoroughly research the company and its offerings before making any purchases to avoid any potential risks.

Food Network Food network shows

It is Tuesday 10/17/23. Beat Bobby Flay is on at 8 and 8:30 pm and Bobby Flay Triple Threat at 9pm. WHY? I used to like watching Chopped at those times and so do a lot of my friends. Is Bobby Flay guaranteed a certain number of shows in his contract? You can watch them any other day-all day Thursday! I'm tired of this and I use to watch this channel every night. Not anymore. Plus Bobby Flay Triple Threat or whatever it's called is a complete waste! C-ya never!

Food Network Foodnetwork Judges

Please tell these competition show judges to take a back seat! It’s supposed to be about the contestants showing off their skills not the judges talking for the entire episode telling us what they would make or how to do it correctly. They stand in the corner and talk about the poor contestants all within their earshot. The judges should come out at the end to judge the final product and that’s it! Please go back to the original format. You might lose a faithful viewer if things don’t change soon.

Desired outcome: ASAP

Food Network Valerie Bertinelli

I will boycott the Food network because you are canceling her show. She is so much better than the Pioneer Woman. Folks are tired of so much of the Pioneer Woman and Valerie is a calm welcome presence from the other loud and too busy shows you have. Why do you think Ina Garten is such a favorite. Valeri is a national treasure that everyone loves. So sweet, knowledgeable and sensible. Maybe you think we want loud and busy, but we want sensible and folks we relate to. I will boycott, not that you care, when her show ends. I love Ina but I’ll stop watching everything on your network.

Robin Bailey

Desired outcome: Continue Valerie’s Show

Food Network show hosts

Ok enough already. Guy Fieri? seriously? We have had enough of someone who can not cook and is bombarding every time slot .

DO YOU REALIZE THAT ALL HIS RESTAURANTS IN NORTHERN CA THAT HE OWNED CLOSED BECAUSE IT WAS SO AWFUL ?

He is so annoying and now his son? Really? You let him JUDGE professional cooks. WTH? sick to death of the stars bringing their kids on .. stop it already ..

Find some other interesting people and lets ditch Guy... ditch that stupid sunny... AND THAT FAT GUY THAT MAKES A SHOW ABOUT EATING LIKE A PIG ... and that egotistical snotty self absorbed obnoxious geoffrey zakarian - tell to put those chopsticks .. well you know where.

I know you can find some classier people that cook. You turned this network into the circus of clowns.

Food Network Guy Ferieri

Since Guy can no longer do a show without having his son, Hunter, on every show, why doesn’t Guy step down and let his son take over the show(s).

It’s annoying that Hunter is on every show but having him on Tournament of Champions is Food Network’s most ridiculous idea. Hunter doesn’t know how to talk to the chefs. He’s told what to ask the chefs. He doesn’t have the knowledge or experience to interact with the quality of chefs on Tournament of Champions. He’s never been a chef, just a spoiled brat with a famous father.

Desired outcome: Response

Food Network Alex

I refuse to Watch anything that Alex is front and center on and that now seems to be about 75% of your shows. Some relative has to be in charge of production. I was so thrilled when she was eliminated in 1st round of Tournament of Champions. The only way it happened was because of blind taste testing. They did not know that she was supposed to win it all. Since then she has not been back and I have not seen her face on any of Guy’s shows since then. Love it!

But evidently someone decided to either have her host or judge 90% of all the new shows which I will not watch. It’s not like she is that interesting or likeable. If she was cast by those standards she might have one show.

The whole network stinks because of you forcing her on your viewers

Desired outcome: Get rid of Alex or eliminate 90% of her appearances

Food Network Bobby flay show

in one of his shows bobby flay referred to couscous as being "an Israeli couscous" to begin with there is no such a thing as Israeli couscous. unless he is talking about where that specific product was made, and even that he should state made in "israel" for example. in this case by he mentioning that it is an "israeli couscous" he is implying that couscous is israeli, and that is FALSE. Couscous is NORTH AFRICAN ARAB . IT IS NOT ISRAELI. Though some people hold an Israeli citizenship are of North African ARAB origin, that introduced couscous to "Israel" it still does NOT qualify it as being Israeli. By lying about the origin of this FOOD and all that is from any specific nation, is DENYING it its culture and existence . bobby flay has in effect committed an act of cultural terrorism by cancelling a culture of a people that is thousand of years old. Such acts of bigotry and cultural terror must stop .

Desired outcome: booby flay to apologize for his action and correct his mistake.

Food Network Worst cooks in America Love at first bite.

Shame on you. I am a FOOD NETWORK junkie but i can not believe the that you would lower your standards to the trash you are now airing during family time on your channel. All of the sexual innuendo's are disgusting. I watched the first episode thinking it was a one off situation. I watched last nights episode and it got worse to the point where Anne Burell even joined in the banter. So needless to say i switch the channel during that time frame keep in mind i have your channel on 90% of the time my TV is on. I am honestly so disappointed that you though a show like this is something your loyal viewers want to see.

I hope you cancel this nightmare sooner than later and if not just know you are offending people by airing it.

Food Network Commercial about private area shaving

While watching Guys Grocery Games today I was shocked. The show cut to a distasteful commercial. Left a bad taste in my mouth so to speak.

The commercial showed a woman in her underwear. She was shaving around the pubic area with a Venus razor.

Last thing I want to look while watching a food show is a woman's pubic area. I realize such commercials have to be shown but perhaps they could be the commercials in between programs and not right in the middle of the show. Please do some research as to this being possible.

The show was airing on August 9, 2023 between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. central time.

I hope this is not a complaint that goes directly into the trash can.

Thank you for looking into this matter.

Desired outcome: Remove Venus razor commercials from the Food Network programs or at the very least show them between shows.

Food Network Beachside Brawl

Talk about being one sided and prejudice. The brawl is always on the west coast with the majority of the in person audience from the west coast. Antonio also favors her coast and is not afraid to show it. Most of the judges are from the west coast. Even though the east coast won tonight, they should have also won the 1st round.

Next year be fair and have it on the east coast with an east coast host and audience.

There are too many food competitions on the west coast, time for a change.

Oh yeah, cut back on Guy. Getting a little tired of him. Nice guy, but can he cook, or is he just a game show host?

Food Network Abuse of English language on The Kitchen.

Jeff Mauro's mispronunciation of English words is so annoying. Further, it makes him sound ignorant and uneducated - which certainly is not so. This seems a desperate grab for attention. It is disappointing to hear his fellow stars following his pattern on occasion. it is unflattering to all.

A show of your caliber surely can think of something else to be unique - something that showcases the excellence of the minds and talents you have gathered together for The Kitchen show. Don't stoop to creating an image of ignorance and lack of education.

Food Network Fieri

I was reluctant to contact you before regarding the nepotism on Mr Fieri's shows and what I feel is the adverse impact it had and has on his shows. I surmised that, sooner or later, it would stop. But the conduct that Mr Fieri has engaged in, in the last week is shameful and I cannot stay silent any longer. I don't know if Mr Fieri was trapped into this meeting, if he wanted this meeting to improve his star power or if he actually wanted to pal around with a Fascist, criminal mob boss who has hurt and destroyed people and actually tried to overthrow the government. The man is a CRIMINAL and should already be in prison. This has nothing to do with politics. This has to do with DECENCY. I doubt that most of your viewers are Trump fans. Just saying...

Desired outcome: Mr Fieri should apologize for his idiocy.

Too many competition shows! I liked the network better when it was a cooking show where I actually learned something new. I loved when Chopped aired, but since then it's one competiton show to another. Please, please...have more variety!

Food Network Programming

I used to watch food network when it first started. Not anymore. It has gone from teaching us how to cook...to the Guy Fieri channel..silly competitions..and cooks going to places..putting their fingers in the food and eating it! Its too bad..it was great programming at one time with different personalities showing their techniques and heritage. That is almost completely gone! And the ones you do have are on at 7 in the morning so they get no ratings and get cancelled!..If I wanted to watch people that think they are celebrities..I would watch reality TV! Thanks for hearing me out!

Food Network Beachside Brawl

I have several issues with this show. I love the concept however this show should be filmed somewhere besides the west coast. It’s to one sided. How about filming on the Texas coast. For each show have a west coast and a east coast judge. This way when you include the audience they are not all from the west coast. Also Antonio is a host. Let her be a host. I like her but she has no business judging. She is west coast all day. Like I said the concept is there they just need to make some adjustments to make it believable.

Food Network Cancelling Home Cooking with Valarie

I grew up with her! I relate to her! Why would you not support her show? You support people who own restaurants, sons and daughters of cooks who want to make it, and people who run ranches. This is not the typical scenario, very unrelatable! She is more normal acting and true to her beliefs. I absolutely love her. She cooks with good ingredients. Actually what she cooks is one of the few shows, where if you repeat her recipe, it actually works!

I am old, who would have thought to put ingredients in bowl to come to room temp. It is all the little things. All the things she teaches you. Who cancelled her show? Worst mistake ever! Keep me of what Bush just went thru! Please reconsider. If you are not careful, it will be 100% Guys and Bobby channel. The baking competitions are not the same without her.

Food Network The kitchen s32 e21 dinner party on a dime

My wife and I are normally big fans of this show. But we came across this episode and frankly are bothered by it. Specifically one segment as dbag gz called it a gas station charcuterie board…. My wife and I have a budget like the rest of middle class right now all of that was a HUGE JOKE. the comments made the laughs through the segment. Which was [censored]ty. I’m sure we aren’t the only ones bothered as gz has reminded people of many of shows he grew up poor so maybe he should just keep his jokes and laughs to himself. Or better yet start paying for everyone to have food. Katie Lee had the only recipe on that part that was normal and not offensive. Shame on y’all thinking it was a good idea.

Desired outcome: Be better. Maybe take a minute to truly see if [censored]s gonna bother someone.
