Spent so much money on a Sony Bravia KDL-46NX720 just to have it break. The one time I spent money on a name brand (supposedly high-end) TV, and it shuts off randomly. A basic internet search shows up all kinds of angry people with the same problem. I went from this $1, 900 MSRP high-end beautiful piece of junk to a $400 MSRP store brand TV. Never am I going to get that wasted money back, and never is anyone in my family going to buy Sony again.

Several weeks ago, I used the services of the company www.sonymobile.com. My phone started to work slower and lagged a lot. I sent it to the repair centre and waited for the news, but one week later I received the phone. It didn’t work and they indicated that water was inside the phone. I really don’t understand how it was possible and what to do next. I tried to call them, but the phone was switched off.

purchased the phone 2 days ago and already have had to go to the Verizon store at 7735 n Tryon St., charlotte NC . First off let’s just say the manager named Cherie was so rude that even when my sales rep Lamar and tony tried to assist me with a resolution with my phone she just stood and looked and not once ever tried to assist or resolve the problem. Basically this phone sucks with all types of headphones. Even in the store they tried high priced headphones and had the same low volume effect. So now I’ve traded in my iphone6 which can’t be returned and I’m stuck with a phone which has volume so low that it sounds like it’s on level 1. Verizon is this how you treat your customers after they buy defective phones ?

I bought a Sony xperia Z ultra handset on 24/11/2014 with a warranty period upto 24/11/2015. Today(06/04/2015) while travelling to my office when I took out my phone from my pocket I was shocked to see that there were some cracks on the surface of the glass(Not in LCD, only glass) without any simple physical contact with any hard thing even and the touchpad of the phone was not working but display was coming properly.Fine, I went to the closest service center(RashBehari, Kolkata) this afternoon and told everything, and within 2 minutes they concluded to me that this is a non repairable handset and they offered me a 20% discount if I buy another sony mobile from them in return of this handset, although I had almost 7 months of warranty still remaining. I mean why the hell I will buy another handset from a company which is potentially stealing my 22, 000 Rupees . They told that this is a physical damage and they don’t support physical damage. I asked them please show a sign of physical damage, but they could’t and they even couldn’t tell me why this handset comes under Non-repairable clause. You people think that every customer is fool, but actually they are not because I have read multiple complaints of Xperia z, z1 etc same as mine over various blogs in internet. They have faced the same issue.I mean how do you guys sell a phone telling it has got shatter free/gorilla glass or whatever.Your product is even more fragile than the local company handsets, I must say that they even last long.I know these words will not affect you guys much, and you will just don’t bother to read it even so I am writing my below words in bold:-

I cannot even begin to describe how infuriated I am with Sony and EA right now, but I will try!
Going back to October 2013 on the ps3 fifa we bought a season ticket and started getting the pack a week as part of the season ticket offer.
At Christmas 2013 we got a ps4 and fifa and loaded up the same fut account and carried on getting the season ticket weekly packs now on the ps4 until the period of 20 ish weeks ended and stopped using the ps3 at the time of using the ps4.
Fast forward to October 2014 and I got an email that the season ticket had renewed, fine I thought the packs will be coming 1 a week for 20 ish weeks again.
I dont play fifa it is my 10 year old son so I just assumed the packs were coming again, at Christmas 2014 I asked if he had been receiving the weekly packs and found out he had not.
So I thought I would contact EA and get them to sort out whatever the problem was and then we would start receiving the packs again.
And this is where the nightmare started!
I contacted EA through live help, telephone, email and attempted to explain that the packs were not arriving.
And was stonewalled with “You cannot get the season ticket packs on the ps4″
So I explained the situation that I had been getting them on the ps4 and it had renewed and was now not getting them.
At this point it was insinuated I was a liar as you cannot get the packs on the ps4, however we had been!
So I attempted to explain again that I had been having them on the ps4 but they were bought on the ps3 originally and moved over, .
However all I got was “you cant get them on the ps4″ and emails basically saying “we have found you have nothing missing” but I couldn’t get to speak to someone who could actually understand the issue as such
So at this point fair enough if you couldn’t have them on the ps4 then I would like my money back, however I was met with “it is an automatic renewal” and also “if you were using the ps3 the packs would be there to have” I just could not get anyone to believe they were appearing on the ps4 so it is not unreasonable for me to expect that when it renews the packs will come through again on the ps4! and because they dont then I should have a refund.
I tried all ways to get them to understand with no joy.
So I thought well I will explain the situation to Sony PSN support and was met with “it is an automatic renewal and I should have cancelled it” etc but I didn’t cancel it as I was expecting the packs!
“You need to speak to EA” they said so I explained my efforts to them and how that was why I had resorted to calling Sony, all to no avail, it got passed to a department I could not speak to who sent me an email saying to speak to EA, I responded with what I had tried and had happened and got an email saying “this is the end of the matter and nothing will change” !
So I went to my card provider and explained the situation and they said as I had not what I had paid for then I could have my money back.
So I had my money back and now about 2 months ish I cannot sign into PSN, after spending 3 days trying to get it sorted with PSN support they now say it is because my account is in £15.99 debit for the amount I charged back, and I would have to pay it before I could get back in.
So I explained the issue and you know what they said?
I have to speak to EA! what a joke this is, so I explained I cannot get EA to listen and he said we cannot help you, asked for a manager… bluntly refused to do so.
So now I am being held to ransom for my login to pay again for something I have not had to get access to all the games I bought digitally in my PSN account
I think this is absolutely disgusting and I will not be paying it out of principle and yes I will lose the content and will make sure I get the physical disks in future.

refund for laptop
I purchased a Sony VAIO laptop computer from HH Greg and had problems, after a while, that could not be repaired in a timely manner by Sony technicians at Best Buy. I was advised, by Sony, to return the laptop to them (Sony), and they would refund my money within 4 to 6 weeks after they get the laptop. They sent a shipping label and I returned the laptop. Sony received the laptop on January 2, 2015, but as of today, February 26, 2015, I have not received a refund check. I contacted Sony on February 20th concerning the refund and got plenty of apologies for the oversight and was told that they were placing the claim at a critical level of priority and that I would get a 24-48 hour callback to explain the oversight and let me know when I would receive the refund. On today, 26 Feb, I contacted Sony again because no one from Sony had contacted me. I was given the run-a-round about them working on the refund and they would get back to me. The call on 20 Feb was handled by JoJo and today's call was handled by Shayne. I am a PhD student writing my dissertation and need the money from the refund to purchase another computer; their lack of response and keeping their word has put me at a great disadvantage. Today I found several complaints regarding Sony and refund issues. If I had known about these complaints before I purchased the laptop, I would not have purchased a Sony. I have other Sony products, but I will not buy anything from Sony again.

On 21 November i purchased a magnetic charging dock from vodacom store Eastgate. the Dock was used twice and the magnet came off. I took this back to vodacom and have been told on 4 occasions that they do not have stock as they waiting of the supplier and i must come back. In the interim the loose magnet has been lost and now vodacom is holding me accountable for this and not willing to refund me on the purchase. I have recieved nothing but terrible service from Vodacom and am utterly disgusted by their attitude. I will not do any further business with vodacom and will urge everyone i know to stay away from these lousy thieves. I could have instead donated My R509.00 to a charitable organisation.
repair/warranty issue
I will never ever buy another Sony laptop or any other product. Have a Vaio laptop, purchases 6Mar2013 that requires repair and we bought an extended 2-yr warranty (thru 6Mar2015). Called them on 13Feb2015 requesting repair saying its under extended warranty. This laptop had same repair (screen separation from laptop/jkeyboard base) within 8 months of purchasing the laptop. They advise their system does not show I have extended warranty and they have to research if indeed we have one and this will take 2 business days, I.e. 18 Feb latest. I provide them with my contract 'confirmation # and advise that I can email them my bill of sale and Sony 2yr warranty email confirmation received 25Mar2013. The CSR advises this won't do as they have to confirm in their systems. i asked to speak to CSR supervisor a s they tell me this will take 2 business days also. I say fine, have supervisor call me. We wait and wait and they call us today, Friday 20Mar2015, saying they have to refile our repair request and we will hear from them in 2 business days, I.e. 24Feb2015 earliest and they still have to confirm if I have an extended warranty...I say this is unacceptable as I have the proof and want to email it to them and please give me your email address. CSR says this info isn't acceptable as they have to confirm it exists in their systems. I again request to speak with a supervisor and they say that will take 2 business days at a minimum. I say this is ridiculous, have supervisor call me and CSR says of course and it will be 2 business days. I purchased Sony Bravia KLV48R472 on 01-Feb-2015 from BurJuman Mall.There was a delivery expected on 07-Feb. However the manage of Electronics department called and said that they are not able to delivery. When I booked the order it was confirmed that stock is available. I paid the payment in advance. I wasted 2 days to final the TV and waited a week for the delivery. If I would have know at the same day that it will not be delivery I would have purchase the same model from other dealer with better deal. Knowing Carrefour as a Big and trusted brand I expected that this issue should be resolve with proper compensation of the effort made till date. However it dint happen.

They also separate the parents from their kids by subjecting them to monitored visits so that, after a visit, they can tell the parent to leave their child and go home. That's when they take inappropriate photos of the helpless children and use them for profit.
Sonya Vardanyan is another monster that lacks a conscience and practices deceit and dishonesty and travesties against children and families.
If you have had to have any dealings with Sonya Vardanyan or her mentioned co workers, simply file a complaint, stating that she has made statements that have caused you discomfort.
The complaints shoud then be reviewed by upper management and hopefully be the cause of dismissal by this terrible woman, Sonya Vardanyan.
tv panel spoilt in 1.5 year of purchase
Been a Sony fan thus far, but recently a less than 2 year old Sony Bravia Tv EX52's screen gave way, On putting a service request we were told spend another `Rs 30k on replacing the panel, as nothing else can be done by the manufacturers of TV. Just to put in context, spending this repair cost would take the cost of ownership of Sony 52' Bravia over Rs 1lac. Its appaulling that its been over 1.5 month, and there has been no amicable solution offered by Team Sony, to make the service experience reasonable and prompt. We all understand on product assembly ensures 100% quality output but its expected for a company like Sony to offset a bad quality product with reasonable and responsible Customer service. Still awaiting a fix to the problem we have.

smart tv not smart
As a loyal Sony customer I bought my latest Sony KDL-70 W850B a supposedly smart TV. Unfortunately it's just a YouTube TV and no other pre-loaded live apps work, not even the Sony app or Opera or TED. I am not complaining that it doesn't support Adobe but its own pre-loaded apps should work. The authorized dealer conveniently avoids responsibility by informing me that in Saudi Arabia other apps don't work due to time zone problems. The same apps work here for Samsung and LG.I have contact Sony middlEast about a week back but no action till now.
Sony please tell why should I trust Sony again.

My new sony z3 compact mobile has dead screen or black screen. Went to sony sales show room. Sales person don't even know the product details if their own company phone has internal built in battery or a replaceable battery. He mentioned to take to sony service centre in coimbatore. Went to sony service centre and informed the problem to the sony agent. My phone was brought from oversees. They refused to service their own company brand (sony) at their service center. They have asked me to sent the phone to country where I purchased to get it checked. If you google sony z3 xeperia, the dead screen issue is known issue. Which should solved.
Unfortunaley no support / service avallable/advise from known issue/ from sony how to rectify. Felt bad to buy such a worst brand.
I recently called to speak to someone in regards to a very old account that is delinquent. I was transfered to the recovery department which is located in India. I could hardly understand what the representative was saying and I refuse to talk to someone who cannot speak the language clearly.

Good day I got a cell phone contract with MTN Witbank Game store on the 2nd August 2014, on the 23 of September 2014 I start getting problems with the phone by the screen that went down, after switching it off and on after awhile the screen come on but the phone had a bad response on the touch screen and the camera doesn't work. I booked the phone in for repairs at the MTN Store at Game Witbank on the 24th of September 2014. After 2 and half weeks and a few phone calls they say the can't get the phone repaired and they will send it to Sony for repairs (10 October 2014), after two weeks and a few phone calls again they send they phone back to the store. The store assistant let me know on the 22nd October 2014 to came and fetch the phone, that was just before closing when I get to the store, as we open the package and the assistance was busy with the phone I notice a piece of paper, I looked to see what did they find wrong with phone and I notice that they say the phone is "BER" Liquid damage, The Sony Z2 is a water resistance phone, they didn't send an official repair notice with proof(photos) of the damage. The phone battery went dead and the assistance say we must take the phone and charge the battery and she will query the BER status. When I get home I notice that there is external damage to the phone which I report the next day because the store was closed at time, I try to communicate with MTN and Sony about the damage and the BER status of the phone with no success. What can I do, I got all the proof of the communication that I send to both companies.

Hi my name is Nagma and i bought the sony experia z1 mobile in the month of march 2014 which was my biggest mistake i trusting sony mobile for their service very stupid and poor service stupid according to them the mobile is water resistance but my mobile got spoiled due to some water drops i went to the the service center because my phone stopped working the service center people found some water problem so they took it for under warranty repair on 30th sep 2014 and till now 11/17/2014 there is no stupid update of my phone they dont and the call no response from there end thane service centre eternity mall job no w114093003758 i went to the service centre few days back with the stitches on my body i was hospitalised why i went there because those people they don't response bloody they said they will call me on on Wednesday and today is monday no call from them i am tired i am not in condition to travel if i go there and something happen to me sony wll be the responsible they are very careless they dont know anything about customer service almost 2month they are not ready to give my mobile now i ma not going to wait and file complaint against stupid sony mobile services
dissatisfied with after sales
I have recentle had an upgrade on my phone with nashua mobile.
I am very disatisfied with the after sales service i have recieved.
In the first week of having this phone, the battery would not charge full. No matter where i charged it.
I took it in to nashua in pietermaritzburg, they sent it away and i was told there was no problem with the phone, they charged it full.
The phone switches off when my battery is on 58%, 46% even now on 71% battery life and i cannot switch it on until i've put it on charge for about 25 minutes.
I refuse to take it back or send it away again as i will sit withoput a phone for another week and only be told that there's nothing wrong with it.
I run my own small business and cannot afford to go without a phone or have a phone as unreliable as this one.
I would like to terminate this contract with immediate effect or have a brand new phone sent to me please.
Should you not be able to help me i have no option but to take this matter further.
Total dissatisfaction with this phone and the after sales is all i can say.

I have purchased one Sony LED TV on 1/03/2012. One week before I have send it for repairing to the Jumbo Muscat for repairing as per their checking found It panel got failure. I trust on the all Sony product because they give us quality & support. Service center asking 250 Rial for replacement of the Panel. Now new TV is available in market as lower than its repairing cost. Nobody trust on the Sony product. If such type failure happen.

By trusting SONY and service support I bought one Sony cyber shot dsc-tx10 50i model camera on 12/10/2012 with one year extended warranty.
The camera front panel got crack automatically 4 times in warranty period and the dealer Jumbo replaced in warranty.
Note : The Camera is certified waterproof, dust proof, shockproof and freeze-proof.
Again the complaint came and submitted to carrefour muscat city center as the warranty expired and it was in extended warranty and they replaced under extended warranty.
Now its happen as the same before and requested the service support from carrefour, but the customer support staff rejected the extended warranty - Mr. Taha employee id no : 541407 .
Its clear that the camera having some alignment problem related to the front case or body. I lost the using of camera for approximately 4 months as I given it for the complaint 4 times to Jumbo and Seeb City Center. The extended warranty will expire on october 2014. So I request to change/exchange the camera or confirm the extended warranty for the same for another one year..
