Escrow mismanagement
After I changed Home insurance companies, SLS made payments to both the new company and the old one causing a shortage of $2015.00. They admitted the mistake but refuse to return the money to my account. Their message center tells me I have to call. When I call I get transferred to other departments in a loop that starts over again. It feels like my mortgage is being serviced by a mental hospital and the patients are running the asylum.
Desired outcome: Return my $2015.00 to my escrow account
Customer service
The Customer Service agents are rude, ignorant to the laws that pertain to their positions, and lie. We have three different incidents of breaking laws that are reported to the St. Attorney General's office for criminal charges.
They are above any law, kind of like most liberals in CO. Nope, it applies to us all and it's time that they get their education. Company business practices is to harass and bully.

They are the worst Specialized Loan Serving is claiming I owe fifteen thousand dollars which I find wrong and ridiculous every time I mail a payment they have no problem cashing my checks the amount never goes down only goes up there customer service is rude nasty and tell me any money I pay is going for something else not towards my loan and they threaten me drop calls or disconnect me never off any help I do not trust them

Insurance fraud
My name is Suzanne Chivrell my home 582 Eden Canyon Rd Berry Creek Calif 95916 was burnt down in the northern Calif bear fire on Sept 8 2020. I contacted the insurance company and started all the paper work etc. I purchased the home with my inheritance money from my separate account that I had not with my husband at the time, Klyde William Chivrell. We are not together, but I still own the property and am on the deed. We agreed to pay off the loan with the insurance money and the remaining 107, 108.95 was in a check with both my name and Klydes name. I have a court 7-28-2021 about ownership. Klyde sent specialized loan servicing a letter from some lawyer named Bruce J Beland. No license number, and an old court document from 2011 a stipulated agreement with a transit confirmation to a place called the copy center in 2015 that was dismissed during the insurance investigation and asked for my name to be taken off my check and the full amount of 107, 108.95 be sent to him. No court order nothing and they did. Shad Peterson signed off on it. The check number is [protected] loan number is1019127111 dated Feb 22 2021. Wells Fargo bank NA, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Address for specialized loan service on check is 6200 S Quebec st, Greenwood Village, Co 80111. Shad Peterson phone number is 770-763-1000 ext 4019815 his boss Scott Wilson ext4o19804. I filled out and notarized fraud paper work and sent it back to them in a timely manner. Their response, oh well, Klyde already cashed the check. I own the property, it takes a court order to take my name off the check. There was no order or legal paperwork. My address is 3781 Oro Bangor Hwy Orville, Calif 95966 my phone is [protected]. Desired outcome: I would like my half of the 107,108.95 and let the courts handle the rest. klyde has already spent my money I want the company to compensate me for there mistake.
ACH after loan was closed with another company took our money!
We had refinanced with another mortgage company and closed before our payment was due - payoff figures had been created and signed for when Specialized Loan Servicing decides to ACH the payment 4 days after the date of closing - even when they knew we were leaving them and the payoff figures had been calculated. When we called they said the money was included in the excess escrow we signed for with our new bank. The amount they took was not included in that check, not possible, as it was an ACH from our bank monthly mortage amount and they are not wanting to return the money. When we called their Customer Service Department they said lucky we called because they would continue to draft the ACH out of our account. Crooks! Tried to dispute it with our bank, they couldn't do a thing. We just want our money back. We earned it and it does not belong to them. The deal with them is over, all fees had been paid in full and they are holding something that does not belong to them.

line of credit loan
You bought my loan last year. I changed all the info to your address and the first 3 payments went fine. My payment for 2/05/2021 never arrived to your office. It was paid from my bank to your office posted 2/05/2021. I talked to your company yesterday, and they seemed confused. First they said the $100 payment went into escrow instead of principle... This is not a home loan. It is a line of credit loan. I'm worried that my loan is not correct on your books. So I called today... Your voice mail box was full! Really? Is there just 2 people working your phones?
The first person I talked to said the check was sent my mail from my bank. I told him I didn't think so. Was sent electronically and delivered from my bank to yours on 2/05/2021. I sent you papers verifying this. The second person I talked to said I need to e-mail documents to you via e-mail... Which I did. She was unable to do 3 way conference call with my bank. Not very professional so far. Neither one of the agents I talked helped me or wanted to help me. Today your voice mail is full. I sent documents via email 3 times so can you please call me [protected]

Our loan was sold to SLS from State Farm Bank on Dec 10, 2020. I have since refinanced thru my own bank due to the numerous bad reviews of SLS. I now know why they have so many bad reviews. We obtained a payoff statement from SLS good thru 2/8/21. My bank sent them more than what the payoff statement said. I called SLS and they said the loan had been paid off but was unable to tell me what the amount they received was and how much I would be getting returned to me. I was told I would be transferred to their payoff department to help me but instead I was transferred to another customer service rep. When I told him I was supposed to be transferred to the payoff dept he said they didn't have a payoff depart. I told him I never understood how they could not have a payoff dept. I asked to speak with a manager and he said he would put in a request for a manager to return my call but couldn't tell me when that might be due to being busy because Covid. How Covid has anything to due with a phone call is beyond me. Seems Covid is being used for a lot of excuses these days. I wish I had been notified further in advance that my loan was being sold to SLS so I could have refinanced before it was ever sold. SLS lives up to the horrible reviews I have read.

3 Copy of payments made since inception of the loan
4 Copy of transferred of mortgage to SLS
5 Copy of Escrow account indicating payment made as well why in some situations there was not enough money in the escrow acct to make payments
6 copy of letters advising us that the payments were returned and reason
Hopefully we will not need to ask for this material again I want to make certain your information is identical to what I have in our personal files

Mortgage scam
Sls within a few months of buying my loan added a bogus 2nd homeowners insurance to my account to mark up payments. The money never got put in escrow. After 4 called and countless emails I got canceled what I was told was never paid. The policy was 4400 and a month after it was issued the refund was 1400. Pro-rate scam. Classic float scheme. This company has been fined for this before and it seams breaking the law is not only profitable but a model for business as usual. Until these folks are in jail the predatory practice shall won't stop.
Lied to and totally unethical about resolving
I was presented the option to go into forbearance after losing my position in march and Covid -19. We were told the amount would be added to the end of the loan. My husband bought this house in 2006 thru a mortgage co, since then it got sold to several companies, never missed a payment until late last yet, covd hit and he has not worked since then. They defaulted on the house the mortgage co was Ocwen, they were nice worked with us up till late last year. we decided to put the house up for sale and the day of closing we were hit with SLS saying we owed them over $160, 000 dollar(supposedly the original amount they say is $50K but penalties and interest) is what made the grand total so high that we never made 1 payment? we had not idea we had a second mortgage. So we had to stop the sale. Ever secnce that day they have non stopped calling us want us to pay off the mortgage. Well no way in hell do we have that kind of money. Right now we are going to reinstate our first mortgage to keep the house, however last conversation I had with ( LORI) she said our house was in foreclosure, although we have not got any paper work from them showing that is was in pre forclosure. SO we are confused on this. we offered to pay them the original ammout of 50K and they turned us down, now they was $89k? we are wondering if this preforclosre is an all in one thing with the first mortgage or is this separate? in other words we pay to reinstate our first mortage thinking all is fine, then get hit with this other one> there are no court filing to show anything on SLS.

This is one of the absolute worst and untrustworthy Mortgage companies out there, they are under constant investigations for fraud if you investigate. I can't count how many times I have been told one thing and then find out the other when it is too late to fix. We have been sold to 2 additional Mortgage Companies after our closing on October 31st of 2019. We made 1 payment to Revolution Mortgage, then sold to Northpointe Morgage, which we never even got to make a payment to them. Then we get a letter 2 days before our New Mortgage Company is supposed to get payment within those 2 days, that we had been sold again!
Now, We have CMC Mortgage, but no welcome packet as of 12 days after due date, therefore no account number, which is what is absolutely necessary to make a payment to SLS..., Reading these horror stories from other lendees, we would like to get ahead of this ( what we see as a DISASTER IN THE MAKING), That is why we are ready to join this Class Action Lawsuit before we get foreclosed or have payment issues or any of the above complaints.
WE did do the following
1) Requested copies of all paperwork with signatures from 1st Lender
2) Same for the 2nd Lender
3) Have attempted to pay our mortgage to CMS online on the 1st of January 2020. But No Account Number, Cannot accept payment because Loan # will not suffice. So as you can see, we see trouble ahead and for our own Protection and the protection of our Forever Home WE are ready, able and VERY willing to start this process.

Home mortgage assistance
I have reached out to SLS for help with my mortgage. I have a sale date set for December 4, 2019. I have submitted several applications per their request and my paperwork or check stubs always seem to disappear. Then I have to resubmit paperwork again only to be told that I may get declined, because they need 30 day to review all my documents. This has been going on for almost a year. I'm just trying to get assistance, by a loan modification or forbearance, etc.
The customer service representative can be rude and ignorant. No one is on the same page and I'm constantly told different things in regards to my application. All these facts can be verified by pulling the recorded calls. This has been a stressful ordeal causing headaches and anxiety. I just want to save my house.
Mortgage
We have HELOC that was sold to specialized last January 2019. We are trying to refi our first mortgage which would save us $1300 a month. Specialized which is in second position will not agree to subordinate into second position again. This will only cause us more financial hardship we have never missed a payment in 14 years that we have had our home.
Home equity loan
SLS started billing me about a loan around 2012.
I knew I had not done business with a company by that name and question them about a bill for 30, 000they were claiming.They claim to be representing another company didn't say which one.
After that I was in bankruptcy.
It took them until several months ago to send me documentation where they had bought a loan form Bank Of American from 2007 that Bank of America stop billing me for after they sold my loan to another company.
SLS send me a letter 2 weeks ago saying they are going to foreclose on the loan.
There is close to 100, 000 dollars owned on that house by my mortgage company and SLS claims there is equity of 150, 000 going by book value.
They are not likely to get book value on a foreclosure and don't seem willing to work with me on the loan now that I know what the loan is about.
I think that just want me out of my house.
I am elderly with health problems and I hope SLS get pleasure out of being vindictive since that's the most that they will probably get out of this.
Unable to make payments
On 9/4/19 I received a letter from BOA that my line of credit was now being handled by specialized loan service. The letter from BOA said they took the loan off of auto pay. The letter also stated that specialized loan would send me contact information on where to send future payments. I did not receive the letter from specialized loan, My loan was never late. I cannot get in touch with specialized except through the automated line where my BOA loan number does not exist in there system. I don't understand the motive of this company unless they are forcing low interest loans into default.

Power of attorney
This company will not let me know if they have received my power of attorney documents that I fax to them on my mother's house and will not give me any information. They acquired the loan on my mom's house from Wells Fargo. Last payment was in July of this year. They will not give me information on loan modifications so thar I can bring the mortgage current.

When I go on the website to try to pay my mortgage the f****** thing has a line and when I click on it and try to start typing in my loan number it will only take one number and nothing else I am trying to do this from the internet on my phone not from a laptop what the f*** is the problem why is it not letting me input numbers I am having to pay over the phone to have this loan payment done because that f****** thing doesn't work
