I went to Speedway in Polkville, NY on 10/10/2023 with my disabled father and we parked up by the door in a handicap parking spot and had the sign hanging from the mirror. I was standing outside of the SUV with my door open getting out my father’s cane when a truck pulled in and hit the door and backed up and hit the door again shaking the whole vehicle and leaving marks. Then the guy got out and proceeded to walk into the store. My father yelled out “What the hell are you doing?” I stayed out in the vehicle until the guy was going to leave bc he threatened my father. He walked out of the store with a manager who walks up to our vehicle and tells us that we have to leave bc he is her favorite customer. She called us a liar about my father being disabled and told us that we are not allowed back into the store. Then when my dad told her what happened she admitted to lying about seeing the incident and refused to review the cameras. My family and I have given that store A LOT of business and it’s the closest one to our house and for her to not allow a disabled man to go there anymore is ridiculous!
Desired outcome: An apology at the least and consequences for the employee for discrimination
