I bought a used car from Star Auto at the Mapunapuna place. They didn't tell me that there was no second key. A week later, the rearview mirror fell off and when I tried to fix it, I found out that the company had used super glue to hold it in place. Now I have to replace the whole windshield because it got cracked. They keep giving me information about who can help me with the repairs. They should have mentioned the super glued rearview mirror because it's important for safety when buying a car.

I've been making payments on time and have paid a total of $34,946.00 in cash and credit/debit payments. Before signing the contract, we asked the salesperson and the person handling the closing if these payments would be reflected in our credit score and reported to the credit bureau to improve our scores. They assured us that it would be done, otherwise we wouldn't have chosen them. However, no payments were reported to the credit bureaus even though we paid it off. Our main goal was to fix our credit, and we made every payment on time. We want this to be reported as it was the whole purpose of our payments.

They are cheeting and lying. I bought a bus but they didn't reveal that registration was expired for 2 years. I found it later and they want me to pay half of the fees. Not fully honest. My mechanic found that Cadylac Converter was missing. They didn't tell me in advance. It is cheeting. I asked to fix it or adjust the price of purchasing price and they said they will fix it, so trusted thus company and later my mechanic said they didn't put the right part and welding is not complete so it makes big noise. I complained about it and manager *** said she trust their mechanic, which means they fixed correctly. It is lying.She said she will talked to the owner and get back to me. I waited 3 days, but no responses. I visited the office and she gave me lots of excuses not to be responsible. I briefly mentioned that I may take this matter to the court and she said I threatened her. She stop talking to me.This dealer needs to fix this problem or pay me to fix from my mechanic.

I made a separate agreement with them to use the $200 I already paid for the warranty to cover my delinquent monthly payments. In addition, I was supposed to pay $700 for the services of Servco. The representative, Christy, told me to make a payment that month, which I did. However, she did not adjust the payment from the warranty to bring my account up to date. In January, I made a payment of $802, which brought my account current again. So, the warranty payments were not honored. Then, COVID-19 happened, and in February, I made a cash payment of $220 in-store. Unfortunately, I lost my job due to the pandemic. I talked to Christy about meeting up to resolve the issue of the missed payments and the warranty problem, but she never arranged a meeting. In June, she called me to say that I was delinquent, even though I had been trying to resolve the issue. Furthermore, she deducted more money from my card than she was supposed to, even though I had specifically told her not to. I feel like she did not keep her end of the bargain. I really wanted my warranty to be honored or refunded so that I could either be satisfied or look for another car.

On April 11 or 12, 2021, I bought a 2012 Jeep Wrangler, Call of Duty MW3 Edition from Star Auto in *** for $30,000.00 using an auto loan from Navy Fed. After driving it for about 3 weeks, the engine suddenly died in the middle of the road and the brakes failed, nearly causing an accident. I had to have the Jeep towed back to Star Auto for repairs. They fixed the issue and told me it was due to bad fuel that had damaged the valves and fuel lines. It took almost a month to get the repairs done, leaving me without transportation.
When they presented me with the bill, it was nearly $3,000.00, but the repair invoice didn't mention anything about fuel lines or fuel filters. Now I'm stuck with this additional financial burden, so I asked if I could make monthly payments. On the third month of making these payments, in addition to paying Navy Federal CU for the auto loan, I informed the financial officer at Star Auto that I would stop paying until I received the Registration card from the DMV.
It has been 11 months now, and despite my repeated inquiries (around 4 or 5 times), they still haven't provided me with an answer regarding my registration sticker. Even Navy Federal doesn't have any information about it. As a result, I have been driving with an expired Safety Inspection sticker and an expired Registration sticker. The finance manager is aware that her car salesmen failed to offer me the car warranty that they usually provide to customers. This is why I'm stuck with the repair costs, but she blamed me for not purchasing the warranty from them. I need assistance in resolving this issue.
Every time I visit the dealership, the finance manager only ends up raising her voice at me, and nothing positive comes out of it. Even her two salespeople quit and moved to a different car lot because they didn't like the management at Star Auto, which I believe is a family-run business.

We bought a 2008 Jeep Wrangler from Star Auto on August 29th. It was in As Is condition, no warranty offered, but the salesperson told us we had a week to return it if it doesn't meet our needs. We took the vehicle to an Alignment shop and found out the steering box was leaking badly, and the whole front-end suspension needed replacing. On September 5th, we took the Jeep back to Star Auto and explained the issues. My husband tried to negotiate a trade-in for another Jeep they had, but the location refused. They offered two options for the 2008 Jeep: 1) They would fix it and return it to us, or 2) We could turn it in and they would forgive the loan. We chose the second option since I needed a vehicle to drive immediately. On September 6th, we provided vehicle payoff documentation to Star Auto, and they said they sent the check to our bank, USAA. However, weeks went by and our bank never received the money. I contacted Star Auto to follow up, but received no response. Finally, on October 11th, I spoke to the manager who rudely informed me that they called our bank and since they don't have a 30-day return policy, they won't pay off the loan. My husband spoke to the location and the manager, and they said they would have a meeting about the situation and get back to us. However, they haven't made any effort to contact us despite multiple emails and calls. We have made formal complaints with FTC and ***, and we are now trying to contact them to get our Jeep back.
