I took sbi cards 2 years before and missed payment last month. On september 12th 2023, gundas came to my house and abused me infront of my wife. My mother is running a stationary shop nearby my house. gundas told that if payment is not done within night, she will not be allowed to run her shop. Then they went directly to her shop and threated her. SBI Credit card was only in my name and my mother not even knew about it neither has she signed any papers to sbi. On 13th september 2023, threatening calls came to my mothers mobile number from [protected] and [protected]. My mother , out of fear immedietely paid the money without informing me from her pocket. I am planning to complain at local police and also move to the court for the abuse done by outsourced sbi cards gundas at my home. Apart from this , how can i get justice? Most important thing which depressed me is they threatened my mother going to her shop while she was no where involved in this.
Desired outcome: PERHAPS SBI SENIOR OFFICIALS MIGHT LOOK INTO THE CASE AND MAKE SURE THAT ANOTHER PERSON IN MY THRISSUR AREA OF KERALA DOESNOT GET AFFECTED BY THESE THIRD RATE GUNDAS.

5) No response to any Emails sent to " sbi.[protected]@sbi.co.in " or other multiple NRI service / support related emails.
NRI account service manager was initially helpful in setting up accounts and also tried to help with INB ( Internet Banking) setup. But, lately do not respond to any Phone Calls / Whatsapp messages.
Desired outcome: Will be nice to communicate with a person at SBI by Email or Phone who can work towards resolving my problems.

Corruption at SBI Bank and not releasing funds for widow after husband's passing
My father passed away due to COVID in Sep 2020 and since then SBI bank in Meerut, Shastri Nagar Branch in India and the bank manager has blocked a FD of approx. Rs. 8 lack (800 thousand Indian Rupees) from being processed and deprived my widow mother (and a senior citizen) from accessing the funds. Earlier, he wanted me, and my sister to personally come and sign the documents (we both live in USA) even though we were stuck due to COVID travels. My sister, and I have since then being patient have signed the documents physically when we traveled to India in Meerut.
The bank manager has still blocked the FD funds from being released, and he had demanded investments made in the account to SBI bank (to gain higher portfolio for him), has asked a security deposit of equivalent amount 9 lack rupees (which one of our family friends completed) and now he is asking another 9 lakh rupees deposited in the security account before he will release the funds (and he has been doing this from last 1.5 years). He had once commented to my mother that "hey you are pretty old, why don't you just donate this money to the bank".
As you can see any of this is unacceptable and outrageous at any level. The funds rightly belong to my mother after my dad's passing, and she has been deprived of access. I was not expecting corruption of this level at a financial institution.
Can you please help? I personally have decided not to tolerate injustice and corruption and fight against it. I will appreciate if you can kindly help and ensure action is taken and funds are released for my mother who is waiting for it from Sep 2020. I have reached out to the nodal office already with no response.
If I am not heard, and my mother is not helped I will take my story to social media, reach out at the highest possible levels and ensure all possible actions are taken. As you seem highly educated and accomplished, I truly hope you will be able to understand and support. I have reached out to Nodal office and leaders at SBI bank and have not received a response yet.

When I am not your customer and never ever will be, then why are your foolish people sometimes sending unwanted messages on my number. Many a time it is told to remove my number from your database permanently and instantly, but still your foolish people don’t listen at all.
Twice or thrice I called your arrogant, stubborn, disgusting and shameless customer care and twice emailed [protected]@sbi and customer care but without helping they are MISGUIDING to go to the nearest SBI branch where I hold my account. But sorry to say firstly I am not having any account in the SBI and secondly why should I go to your nearest SBI branch to remove my number. I don't have that free time to go to your SBI branch. You better remove my number instantly and permanently from your database immediately and no more messages on my number in the future.
NRI banking services
I am an NRI customer of SBI for more than 10 years and have close to 10 crores in deposits. This is the worst bank in terms of customer service because:
1. They miscalculated interest on my deposits. Did not even inform us. When we visited our branch in Pune a good lady (junior) reminded her manager about it in front of us. That is how we came to know. It took them almost one year to correct it and credit the amount to our NRE account!
2. I request for a wire transfer from my NRE account to my Hong Kong savings bank account at a different bank 10 days ago. This was done online and still not completed. I chase the manager everyday via whatsapp.
3. I tried to raise a complaint online but can you imagine even their complaint webpage does not open! misearble.
4. I complained to their nodal officer and I don't know if anything has been done.
Hopefully someone in SBI realizes this and improves the service. Atleast provide a relationship manager for people who deposit crores of rupees.

I am a handicapped Sr. Citizen lady and have a joint account along with my husband Suresh Chandra Sharma. His pension account No. is [protected] in SBI, Rail Bhawan, New Delhi Branch. My name is Smt. Mithlesh Sharma and am only a joint holder in this Account. For the last two financial years i.e. 2019-20 and 2020-21 my husband's pension is being shown against my PAN No. ACAPS9791C while his PAN No. is ABJPS9930K. Thus 26 AS Statements for two financial years have become wrong. Consequently, IT Department has withheld my refund of Rs.30, 000 for the financial year 2019-20 and for this year I am unable to file my IT return.
Complaints were made to SBI, Rail Bhawan, New Delhi. But no result have come out and wrong entries continue to appear as it is. I request you that action may please be taken to delete these entries so that Income Tax Department may release my IT Refund and I may file my IT return for the Assessment Year 2021-22

Customer care using abusive language
Customer care of sbi abusing from contact no. [protected] they are not providing any resolution from last 6months on credit card. And now one of person completely abusing on phone call.
Kindly take an strict action against them, otherwise we will move to police station for this kind of misbehaving with customers.
They are calling continuously 4-5 times in a day.

Having SBI credit card no [protected] for last 12 years and in Corona times June 2020 my card got blocked and faced issue for 1 month no resolution thereafter I requested for discontinuance of my credit cared after paying all pending money on 14 July 2020
I request for card closure. Card was not closed from 14 of July because of server down.
After that SBI agents mince words and call me again to not to close card and so that renewal few could be billed again.
when I requested again to discontinue card, I received call to not to do so and reduce to a lower annul fee and that too after paying renewal fee first and not reverse it until I pay.
They stretched it till recently and put a proratacost for annual renewal charges and non paying penalties
Currently I have a outstanding of Rs 2000 + instead of having around Rs 1000credit balance if card would have been closed on 14 July 2020
I request you to look in this matter and SBI Credit card agents should stop teasing me for paying money.
It goes without saying that they can treat a Visa signature member like this, SBI Credit card india team would be dealing with many cardholders to fetch money by delaying their card closure request giving "Server is Down" Excuse. They did not closed my card with effect from 14 July 2020 from the request and did it in September 2020.
