returned watch - no replacement, refund, or even a note
Staur Wristwatch (Combined analog and digital) was given to me at Christmas, 2018. On first day of use it was noted that watch did not keep time properly. Careful observation revealed second hand hesitating and stopping intermittently between 8 and 10 on the face. (Digital time beneath the analog hands functioned properly - but analog time with sweep second hand very important to me). Notified you and was sent a return label. Returned watch with letter explaining problem. I have heard nothing back.

About a week after I received my watch, the analog time began running slower than the digital time. I had a new battery installed on July 13th, but it still is running slow.
I really like the watch, but I want it to run properly. I would like to have it replaced with one that will work properly. I paid $34.95 shipping to get the watch to have it on my vacation, so I do not want to pay anymore shipping costs.
Please advise me on what Stauer is willing to do.

I have purchased a number of items from stauer and have been happy with my purchase
However, recently I purchased the helenite necklace. I wore it twice and then the chain discolored. I polished it with a jewelry cloth and it did not improve the condition. I called to ask for a replacement and they told me there were no replacements. So, I told them I am through ordering from a company who does not stand behind there merchandise.
Please do not send me any more catalogs or emails!

I received this necklace for Christmas from my husband, Walter Vining and have already lost a stone. Would you be to repair this necklace or could you replace it. I attempted to purchase a ladies watch using a $50.00 discount card. Offer code 50FAF. This offer expires on 2/12/18. I was making my purchase on 2/12/18. The offer code would not give me the $50.00 discount. I never hit any button to complete this purchase. If you don't cancel this order, I'll be forced to have my Discover Card to refuse Payment. I just made this transaction during the last few minutes prior to 12:00 midnight so don't tell me I waited too long as I never pushed any key that said Make Purchase.

ups and its drivers
We did not receive a package, we filed a complaint with ups, the driver came to the door when we werent home and asked my daughter if we ordered a package that wasnt delivered and she said yes, he then said ok I just need you to sign here stating you didnt receive it. Now we get a call from the shipper stating ups said she signed stating she did receive the package! That driver is a blatant liar! I will never use or trust ups ever again! I will also blow up social media and every other outlet about this extremely poor customer sevice! Ups driver is a liar and will never trust them again!
membership scam
When I said yes to this membership I was lied to about a lot of things . After I got packet to order stuff very few items were $50.
I ordered sunglasses and when I received them one pair was broke so I sent them back it's been weeks and no glasses. I called and ask where my glasses were. He said orders were being made and it will be sent when they send others out. Also there are very few items in catalog that are $50. You have to pay more. ALSO on small print you have to use coupons in 90 days,
Lady had a good story to get you to accept LYING half the time . I will not have anything to do with an outfit like this. I WANT TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP AND MY CREDIT CARD credited my money back. You are nothing but a big SCAM so beware about joining. And you will be automatic enrolled after a year with your membership.
I was interested in ordering the Eagle Eye Navigator sunglasses. To my surprise the was a membership fee of $175 was added to order, nowhere was this explained that to get advertised item a membership fee was required. There was no way to delete this fee, so I never completed the order .After reading comments from other customers I will steer clean of this company..
I just accidentally found out while looking at my order history that I was charged for a 90 day platinum membership without me being pre-warned about it last year. I found an email in my inbox for a $74.25 charge after it was charged and for the "privilige" of receiving coupons which I just trashed along with their catalogs over last year and a half.
If I want to buy something I don't need to pay ahead $75 to be able to use a $50 coupon on items listed at full retail price.
I just bought some shavers, pressure monitor and expensive french hand washing soap on these guys before and now i am sad that what I thought were occasional good deals turned out to be too good to be true.
I am glad I get new credit card numbers each year as they must have failed to get the next automatic membership fee through. Never bothered to even ask once the old card bounced.
In general those discount coupons are hard to use, as they apply on things at full retail price. Sometimes items are discounted enough even without membership in this coupon surprise club.
Sufice it to say I did not use any coupons for the stealth membership.
when I tried to place an order for a substantial amount I was on the phone for 45 minutes with an obviously untrained rep. His name is Jasper and when I inquired how long he was with the company he say he was with the company for 3 days. He definitely needs a lot more training. I have been a customer for years and I am quite disappointed. As a platinum member I think it might be time to rethink my membership.
emerald and opal necklace
The photo of the item that I purchased was beautiful, showing a pale green color. When it arrived a few days ago I was horrified that the emerald stones appear to be almost black. A color I can't use. I have purchase several items before from Stauer and this is the first time that I have been so disappointed.
I hope someoe from the company will contact me and send me a necklace as pictured. If not, I'm thinking of giving up my plat. membership.

Stauer sold me a watch. I received it broken. Dial on watch was off.I put in the necessary instructions to replace the watch that it was broke.They replaced the watch but charged me for another.So here i am looking at my bank statement and low and behold they took out 120.00 from my account.I called and complained so they put 99.00 of it back.Just a day later they took it out again.Long story short, I’ve paid 200.00 for a watch that I bought for 99.00 dollars.My broke one was paid in full.sent back broke, they sent another but billed me for another watch.

Stauer sends junk mail to my residence addressed to E. W. (my sick husband) or Current Resident, followed by my address. Stauer, customer service refused to remove my address from their mailing list, stating E.W. purchases items from them and he needs to call not me (wife). Stauer addresses the junk mail to E.W. or current resident. I am current resident. Therefore have the right to request Stauer stop sending junk mail to my address.
Actually, they have the right to mail anything they want to that address because your husband gave them permission and he still lives there.

I ordered jewelry from this company and paid for it with my MasterCard. I returned a set of pearls which were fake and before I realized they were fake, they called with this "great offer". I would get another set of pearls and 2 ruby pendants by just paying the postage. The postage was more that the whole thing was worth. Now that I have returned the pearl set for a refund, I cannot get my credit. They won't even talk to me about it and one person even said it was applied toward my previous balance. I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A PREVIOUS BALANCE". What a rip off. Hope this will help someone from making the same mistake.

I hae receided a defective watch again.This will be the second time I have had to return this watch and I am not pleased The watch advances the time by an hour at rendom as well as the datre advanves by one or two days at random.
I returned a faulty item - broken clasp on a bracelet. (Happened the 2nd time I put it on.) I haven't heard from them in 2 weeks. I asked for a repair or replacement. No word from them, despite their being only a suburb away.
