Steak 'n Shake sponsorship inquiry with sabercats

Good Afternoon,

My name is Coty Davis, as the marketing assistance with the Houston SaberCats, this email is to request information about starting a sponsorship deal with my team. For those of you who may not know, the SaberCats are a part of Major League Rugby and is Houston's newest professional sports team.

As our inaugural season approaches, it would be an honor to have Steak 'n Shake as one of our initial sponsors. I feel this would be a great opportunity to sponsor one of MLR's team as we have already established a big fan base throughout the city of Houston. During our preseason opener, we have over 5, 000 fans in attendances and our numbers will only grow from here on out. Steak 'n Shake stole my birthday money off gift card/won't return it!

It was my birthday and a very close friend gave me the only dang thing I have ever gotten for birthday and your company ruined it for me. I went to location on Keystone and I thing 46th area. Point is I ate and stood over 10 minutes while a rude little black girl would not come and wait on me. Her little friends came and I had to speak up to PAY for my food because I am not a thief. Well, she wasn't looking at me and ran her friends order off my care. I paid 12.45 for a 6.35 burger and left tip on table. Manager said he can't give me my money back. More like didn't want to. Machine was broke and they tried to convince me that I purposely gave gratuity of 7.00 and more. No way because I was starving and would NEVER do such a thing. I can't get anyone to return my stolen food. And I am p. o. because it was my birthday and my friend is a single mom that really cared to help my hunger. But rip off culture is evidently what they are about.

Steak 'n Shake wildwood location

Went there tonight for dinner. And there were only 2 people working the whole resturant. Originally went through the drive thru which was shut down yet there was no sign saying the drive thru was closed. So then we went in and it took 30 minutes to get our food. There were 2 tables sitting down and 2 people in front of me that ordered nothing but milkshakes. A truck driver came in to get dinner while he was at the truck stop before having to get back on the road and he was denied food because he only had 15 minutes and the guy said oh it's going to be longer than that...this location has issues everytime we visit it. If there was another 24 hour food place in our area we would never go to steak n shake. But when you get out of work late this was the only place open. I honestly think this location needs this here be shut down. Maybe made into a game room or with vending machines where you don't have to wait 30 minute to get your food when the resturant is basically empty. This location has got to get lots of complaints each day/week/month/year. It's absolutely ridiculous! I don't know how your making enough money to stay open.

Steak 'n Shake steak and shake was closed with no sign or notice

At approximately 11pm on Monday evening, the 8th, my boyfriend and I wanted milkshakes. We drove to the closest Steak N Shake to get them, but upon arrival was notified that the location was closed? It's a little bit of a drive for us and when we asked why she was closed, she just said "we just are" so I don't know what that means, but I just wanted my Cocoa Krispies Milkshake... And now I'm curious why the location was closed.

Any information would be helpful, we frequent the location for late night food.

Steak 'n Shake not cooked

Pic should be enough. It's cold and nothing but ice out so real inconvenience to have to drive back. Both burgers not cooked after I waited 10 min in drive thru with nobody in it. The whole reason to come here is to not have to cook when I get home. I really hope I don't get sick being as I didn't know I had to check my hamburger before I eat it. This is ridiculous.

I'm not sure my 1st 1 went through. I went to the grove city steak and shake and waited 10 min for 2 burgers that neither were cooked. I go here so I don't have to cook when I get home and end up with raw burger. I didn't know I had to check if it's cooked I kind of figured that's how it's supposed to be. I really am going to be upset if I get sick from this and have to miss work.

Steak 'n Shake I am complaining about the food and the service

A friend and I wen to Steak and Shake in Fairview Heights, Il on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. It took us 10 minutes to get seated. It was not crowded but there were no clean booths. The manager finally cleaned off one booth, the booth we sat . Then it took them another 15 minutes to take our drink order. I ordered a junior chocolate shake, which I had to ask for when I was almost done with my steakburger. My friend wanted chilli mac and they were all out of chilli on a very cold day. It was not a pleasant dining experience at all. It was store no. 68 and the server was Angeliq. Please let me know how you are going to resolve this situation.

Steak 'n Shake service and food

Steak and Shake Stratford Rd Winston - Salem
the first time I went the food was not good and I had to wait. I thought I would try it again.
I went today to the drive threw it was very slow I sit in line 15 mins.
when I got back to work with my food it was cold and I only work 3 mins from the place.
I do not think I will give it a third try,

Steak 'n Shake delivery of my order

I stopped in at lunch today for what I thought was a standard and pro-forma burger and fries order.
I was seated, and being somewhat regular as a customer, I knew what I wanted.
I order the Garlic Steakburger $4 meal, and added a cup of chili. I truly didn't think this was out of the ordinary!
About 8 minutes later, the burger comes to my table. Just the burger. I asked about the fries (and chili) and after the semi-stunned look, my waitress (Jnita I think it was?) said OH! Leaving the burger, she headed back to the kitchen.
I was hungry (thus my reason for coming) and after another 5 minutes I started eating the quickly cooling burger.
So, now I have finished the burger, and what happens? The chili cup shows up. Still no fries. Darn, I could have enjoyed those two together at least!
I ate the chili, slowly, hoping to see those fries. No joy. Once I finished the chili, a different server brought over the fries.
Now I want to be clear, the food was very good as always, but the presentation lacked clearly.
At the front counter I spoke with the duty manager (no name tag) about my experience and that perhaps Jnita could use some training... she agreed and said that's how it goes sometimes. Yes, obviously that's a true statement. But and however, I felt compelled to say SOMETHING to SOMEONE who might take exception (aside from myself) that I should pay the penalty for being a "sometimes" victim. After all, a burger-n-fries is the core offering on your menu -- shouldn't they be paired together for the customer?
It wasn't a lot of money, and I'm not in any way complaining about the food or cleanliness of the restaurant. I guess service is still an important component of the experience, and in my case it wasn't good.
There are a lot of fast food option out there. If you are going to have a table service model, it needs to work. Just my $.02.

Steak 'n Shake sense of urgency

I was at Steak and Shake Ft.Lauderdale airport in Florida and there is no sense of urgency or a fast, friendly service, I waited on one order for 15 minutes, which is to long wait time, considering the crew was fully staffed, the wait time and sense of urgency is truly unacceptable and is below company's expectation and standards, good customer service is not that hard to find

Steak 'n Shake service and product

We have a recently opened restaurant near us. After waiting patiently to get a table and food on three trips we have had one good experience. Our second trip they were out of milkshakes and our third trip out of fries. Food was cold the last two visits and now were over finally getting a steak and shake near us. We were so patient in the long lines to get a table at the new restaurant but we have no intention of returning.

Steak 'n Shake drive thru

This was the second time that I had gone thru the drive thru. All I ordered was a grilled cheese combo with a shake and a large hot chocolate. After I played they asked me to pull up. Waited 5 min and all they brought out was the food. I told the guy I still needed a shake a hot choc. 2md time a diff guy comes out and only hands me the shake still waiting on the hot choc. Finally brings me out the hot choc and it was like hot boiling water with brown food coloring. Can they not read a screen?

Steak 'n Shake bad service

As a professional driver, I run on a tight schedule. To maintain it, I have to be on the move. I came to this Steak 'n Shake to try and get something to eat. I ordered at the counter and had to cancel the order 30 minutes later. 15 minutes or so after ordering, I was asked if my "food was given to me already?". 5 minutes after, I get up to ask and cashier looked to the grill and said "it's coming up now". 10 minutes later, I get up to ask about my order and they all looked confused. One employee said the cashier "his food was probably the one on the counter with no name on it. I was asking about it. Someone must've given his bag to somebody else". I was so mad that I just asked for a refund. The manager/supervisor tried to save the sale by asking me if I "wanted them to make it now?", but I just wanted my money back so I can leave. Too much giggling and playing around at this location. A lack of professionalism makes the service suffer, could be because the staff is young or not enough seriousness to perform their duties. This experience taught me one thing, and that is to not return to this location.

Steak 'n Shake the service the food the quality

First off it took forty minutes to get food! I order two separate orders. I was horrible the chilli is not chilli it was a bowl of ONLY BeANS. There was no meat in one of the chili and the other had little bit meat. Chicken and fries were cold. they made my second order twice but I still got the cold one! I order a cherry drink it took another 10 mins to get and it was wrong the first time! I am highly dissatisfied. I visited steak n shake on Ridge in Cincinnati Ohio. I'm never going to a steak n shake again. 30 bucks wasted and got an attendance point for waiting too long for jacked up, disguising food because these ppl don't want to just do their job good and completely.

Steak 'n Shake professionalism

While my son and I were waiting for someone to order our lunch, the manager and his employees were arguing in the main floor. Manager was not being respectful to his employees. Manger and a female employee were yelling back and forth making it uncomfortable to my son, the customers and myself.. please have a talk to the person in charge during this fiasco.. Does not look or felt like a well established restaurant. This took place at 12:45pm 1/6/2018... touhy and Manhein in desplains Illinois...

Steak 'n Shake food - found screw

My son was eating at the Pleasant Hill Steak N Shake location in Duluth Ga. He was finishing up his burger and bit down on something hard. When he pulled the object out of his mouth, he found a SCREW. The manager was concerned and comped his meal. I am beyond thankful that he didn't swallow it! This is appalling and inexcusable! Many waiting for their food to be prepared walked out! Customers should NEVER have a complaint about something like this! It could've been just horrible had he swallowed it! SNS needs to take this very seriously! The outcome could have had life threatening complications!

Steak 'n Shake staff

We waited for 15-20 minutes for a waitress. We waited another 15 for food, and it came out wrong. They mixed my order up with my boyfriends and so I sent mine back, and then I had to send his back, and they messed up again. The people in the kitchen were on their phones and had no gloves or hair nets. Even the manager spent her time talking rather than helping serve food because they only had ONE waitress. My waitress was trykng her best, but the kitchen staff were not helpful, did not read the order ticket, were slow, and unsanitary. The whole place looks gross. I sat in a booth filled with crumbs. The reviews for 4320 W Main St, Belleville, IL 62226 are just as negative as the one im leaving here. If you google this store and read the reviews, they are awful. I know many people who will not be visiting this store again because of how aful the service was, and how unsanitary the place looked. Please inspect this store, and hire people who care about service, not talking with friends. Thank you.

Steak 'n Shake the service the food the whole experience

On 12 / 29/2017 at 9:35 pm my we went to drive up at steak n shake on Emporian drive in Jackson Tn .Got home the order was completely wrong.Took order back spoke to manager on duty brought the food back home was still wrong.If the employees are incompetent to do their job the proper way then why do they still have a job.There is a lot of work that needs to be done in this place .Steak n Shake has always been one of my favorite places to go and I've been eating at them for 40 years Plus but something has to be done here if they are going to stay in business.The lettuce on the sandwiches was garbage it was terrible. The employees should take pride in having a koo and wanting to put out the best they can.I hope we will be able to enjoy steak n shake again. Thank You

Steak 'n Shake meals

My husband and I was at your Steak and Shake in Kokomo Indiana and I found a hair in my fries, and when the manager came over she was mouthly and refused to replace and or take my meal off of our bill, plus our waitress was sick and she was handling food to all the customers including us. Now I am sick cause of her! We will never ever go back to Steak and Shake in Kokomo, Indiana ever again! Plus I have notified BBB also, and the health department too. I don't play games! This is very serious! None of the workers were wearing hair nets either, nor were they wearing gloves, and our waitress didn't wash her hands from coming out of the restroom.

Steak 'n Shake customer service at 9560 regency sq. blvd. n. jacksonville fl

To WHom it May Concern (If anyone at this point),

Yesterday evening 1/2/17 around 11:30 in the evening my family and I had been out at a show and decided to get a late night meal after the show. We've been to this Steak and Shake, located at 9560 REGENCY SQ. BLVD. N. Jacksonville Fl, on several occasions. We all agreed that this was the best place to get the food we wanted to sate that late night craving, but every time we go there to order the food it takes easily 30 minutes to come out. Since it was a work night, we wanted to have our food and be on our way. I decided to see if we could order online before we even left the venue, and sure enough that appeared to be an option. I took everyone's order and placed it into the online ordering portal via this link-

After filing out the registration information, with credit card, I tried to submit the information, but I received an error message. I tried several more times, but no luck.

At this time we were still 15-20 minutes away from the location, so I decided to call. I explained to the person that answered the phone that I had tried to place the order online and she stated that she "didn't know about any online orders" and suggested that I come in to place the order. I asked what the wait time on an order was and she stated they were busy (AS USUAL) and it would be 30 minutes (AS USUAL). I explained that we were still on the road, and I was trying to place the order ahead of time to avoid the wait time. She said she would get a manager for me. She did not put the phone on hold. I heard her call out and ask two different people to come to the phone to assist, and then I heard them tell her to hang up on me... Hang up. This is unacceptable! No one offered to take our order, no one came to the phone to assist, no one even asked for my name and phone number for a possible call back... Not only rude but it sends a VERY clear message as to how this store feels about it's customers. There were 6 people in my car and this was a relatively large order of decent money amount...

I do not know who you have running this store but they clearly need a lesson in how to deal with staff and orders under pressure. Several things could have made me, the customer, happy and left the situation resolved but instead I got "hang up". Also - 30 minutes wait time to even get our food every time we go there is too long - and that could be fore just myself and my husband or for all 6 of us it doesn't seem to matter the size of the order...

Yesterday evening when I called I wasn't really even upset, a little frustrated because the website wasn't working, but I expected to at least be able to place the order over the phone. Now I don't know that I will ever visit this Steak and Shake again, I WILL tell other people about it, and I am not sure how to tell you to resolve it.

Steak 'n Shake shake mix

Your shakes are awful. I remember when they were actually great, back when there was ice cream in them. I keep forgetting about the horrible stuff you use now (maybe because you keep advertising them as "hand dipped", which is bs), and find myself going back to get what used to be one of the best shakes around. Someone else said it perfectly: milk sorbet. It's crystalized and flavorless. Never getting another one.
