Fuel Savings
This has happened multiple times. I save my Stop & Shop receipt showing I get 40 or 60 cents per gallon in fuel savings, but when I go to the gas station and scan in my Stop & Shop card it only gives me 20 cents off per gallon. This happens even though the date when "points earned today expire" is still a week or more away. However, if I buy gas within a day or two of getting the Stop & Shop receipt, then I get the full cents off as shown. Is there a certain time limit for getting the full fuel savings?
Desired outcome: Tell me how quickly I need to use my fuel savings to get the full cents off as shown on my Stop & Shop receipt.
Rewards, coupons and customer service
We shopped at miller place store on 1-13-23 points balance 351. Today at gas station showed zero. After waiting for 44 customers ahead of me when calling [protected]. The rep said we have 351 points. I asked what to do? She said whatever you choose, it is probably a system failure. I asked how I get the digital discounts if we don't use a computer or iPhone, we have a flip phone and cant get the same discounts? She said, then you don't get the discounts.
What kind of service is this? My customer card number is available if you need it

Disrespectful service rude, hostility from the very manager imanager of the store, joe staudt
Your cashier was rude and disrespectful to me all because I asked her (a fat black [censored]), to call a Porter because something spilled. When 2 or 3 customers complained to her about taking her sweet [censored] privileged black [censored] time, I called the manager, and he was hostile to me in my face, very loud and confrontational. And he refused to identify the employee who deleted her info from the receipt.

When employees don’t wear masks even after the State of CT health dept has issued a High Level Covid Alert, I’m disgusted.
I don’t care your employees feel about masking when the State has a new Covid outbreak like we do know S&S should grow some balls and mandate masking for public safety especially for seniors shopping in your stores. We keep you in business.

I was waiting online with my mother and some fruit fell on the floor so I asked the cashier to call a Porter. Instead, she grabbed a broom and started sweeping as slow as she possibly could. Somerset branch, head cashiers and cashier (not cashier fault) did not know that if it states gas points on receipt and you do not have a Go rewards account that you do not have to designate the points to Go account or gas points.
Why do all senior level employee's at corporations seem like educated idiots.
I did get the answer to my question by a service desk employee who to the time to help with common sense.
Desired outcome: UPDATE YOUR POLICIES they should state if you don't have Go Rewards it will go to gas points or vice versa.

I placed an order Jan 1 I missed call and couldn't get intouch with anyone until the next day a rep then did my order over for said my gift card balance that was taken fr original order would be applied through a stop n shop account iwas told since couldn't be put back on the card was also told wouldn't be charged a 2nd authorization hold 3 data later my account was charged 75 dollars which more than the original order which 27 hold was taken this same order resubmitted I'd like my money back charged me twice my original gift card Balance clearly never
Applied then clear yet another charge added I'm living on a fixed income caring for a disabled child the original gift given to me by a local food bank really

It's happened on 01/04/22, at Stop & Shop 1710 Avenue Y Brooklyn, NY 11235
I had very disrespectful, discriminative, shocking and negative experience with security guy, according to manager his name is Joe, but I suspect he just didn't want to give me his real name. I already finished my shopping and was about to leave the store, I decided to buy a lottery ticket but machine was already off, I saw this guy (security) standing there and I ask him about it, out of nowhere that person asked me if I putted 2 toothpastes in my bag?! (blaming me in shoplifting in front of other customers, and it's my neighborhood, can you imagine how shocked I was) I was absolutely SHOCKED, never in my life I could even imagine that this could happen to me! I was very very shocked and I asked him to repeat what he just said, he repeated it again. And when I ask him did he see me stealing he answered he saw somebody on camera, somebody like me (as I understood somebody like me means that he saw somebody white, I don't know if he has problem with white people or he just don't like them but it sounded like that) and he will check on camera again if it was me or not, so I suggested him to check camera together, I said I would like to see it too, but he refused. It was very disrespectful, embarrassing and illegal. And he even didn't apologies. Unfortunately it was already late at night and there was no manager. When I came to speak to manager next day he said he will report it to company and also he will reported to that guy security company, but looks like he didn't take it seriously because I left my information and ask to call me, but nobody contacted me yet. It's really very unacceptable and disrespective.
Desired outcome: he has officially apologies and company has to make sure that it's never ever happen again

The purpose of this complaint is to bring to your attention a matter that has occurred repeatedly on the days I shop there. This particular employee who works at that deli area named Carla displayed inappropriate behavior this morning during my shopping experience. The store is located in No Attleboro, MA on East Washington street. I had witnesses around the deli counter who were embarrassed and ashamed of her actions. One was a police officer I believe with his daughter. This individual was screaming at her manager about another co-worker, not to mention her dislikes for the store. Even her own peers working along her side were appalled by this and stepped away from her. This is not the first time I and other shoppers witnessed this. Some left for another store because they were that upset this behavior was allowed and not handled out of the view of customers. I hope this matter is addressed soon or people like me will choose other options to shop. I, in no way is out to get someone fired but the sooner this gets resolved, the better the outcome for customers like me and the reputation of the store.

Good morning I just want to know why the stop & shop on alewife parkway and Summerville Mass is always empty no matter what time of day you go shelves and empty the produce I went in the other day was empty this is crazy I live right across the street from it and we have low housing right behind it and they don't do you always have to go somewhere else for your products I just wanted to know if you corporate was aware of all of this they help just hangs around they use their phone on the register and I know you're not supposed to thank you I concerned shopper.

I shop in stop and shop in Massapequa because it's convenient but I'm thinking I might go the extra mile. I bought mushrooms last week when I opened them they were rotten! I buy grapes that are mush...I'm wasting so much money every week throwing food away. The produce is terrible. I love fresh stringbeans in the summer and the guy in produce told me they don't carry them because he doesn't want to order them its too crowded. The meat department use to be good and it's crap now. London broil is vacuum sealed and it's think and filled with fat! I buy something I like once and it's never to be found there again. If you want to buy cold cuts be prepared to wait there for a good 15 20 mins! I can go on forever but I'm done just figure it out and do better for the people in this neighborhood.

I Bought the buns on December 26th. Have receipt. We made hamburgers on the 27th. Me and my husband ate one each. My husband went to eat another and the buns flipped over. There was mold all over the bottom of the buns. We are sick to our stomachs. We spoke to the manager Tony at this location. He told us to put the compliant in. Stop and Shop Store #0043

Pharmacy
I want to file a complaint on a person who works at the s n S in Halifax Ma. Her name is Cantana, a young Asian woman. She gives fasle information about my son's prescription drugs. In general I'm placing a complaint on the pharmacy as well for failing to order my son's prescriptions him being a cancer patient and happened to go through withdrawals because they didn't bother to order his prescriptions that were due on the 24th it's disgusting. This girl was the one who screwed everything up so I think she should be severely reprimanded or she should lose her job after what she put my son through going through withdrawals on top of his original pain I can't forgive them for this.
Bakery pumpernickel round bread
My daughter reserved a round bowl pumpernickle bread and when she picked it up on the 22nd of December it was frozen solid. We let it sit at room temperature and only half of it defrosted. It was like a round brick! We could not cut thru it. This is outrageous. We had to throw out the bread on Christmas day... unable to use it to cut out and fill it with vegetable dip as we do every Christmas. We called many Stop and Shop stores in our area and none of them had these breads... we were told they don't make them anymore... so where did this bread come from that we paid $4.99 for? Was it frozen for a long period of time and then sold to the public ? The stop and Shop we purchsed it from was in Attleboro, ma. Pleasant street... I have shopped thios store for many years and spend a lot of money and I will never step foot in there again! This store is poorly run, usually only 2 registers are open, and they are missing several products... and always have a lame excuse. Their produce is poor quality, and their meat is disgusting. Something is very wrong with this store.
In the meantime, we tossed out the round whole pumpernickle bread and this was the icing on the cake for us! Also the sell dates on a lot of bakery products are expired.. Your company is doing a great dis-service
to our community.. It is not right and I will also be reporting this to the better business bureau. Prices are way over the top and we are being sold inferior products.
Desired outcome: Improve the quality of your bakery products and stop selling expired dated products.Improve the produce section and the meat... and stop leaving shelves empty with no valid excuse.
Chicken Salad with a bone in it
My wife purchased chicken salad from the Wallingford CT 06492 Stop N Shop on Saturday 12/17/22. I made a sandwich today and when eating it, I almost swallowed a bone that was in the chicken salad that is 1 1/2" to 2" long.
This happened one other time and I did not report it. I could have died.

Durning self check the employee ( women dark long hair glasses mid 50’s) helped me with coupons. 2 were from a manufacturer. She asked me how much the product was I said $6 and change. She found them the product was $6.49. She did the first coupon. Then I said jokingly and another $6.49. She then was very rude. Said told me you want to do my job because apparently I’m incompetent and don’t know how to do my job. Then the coupon wouldn’t work for her and then she said well if you know how to do my job, you can fix it. I never once said anything to her to make her feel incompetent or couldn’t do her job. She was down right rude and made me feel horrible when I did nothing wrong.

On Tuesday November 29 at 7:00 am I was purchasing a couple of items after I came from the gym. I was tired and kinda of out of it . When I approached the self check out to scan my items I was yelled out by the cashier that I was in the wrong aisle because none of them were open . I proceeded to go into the next lane . I can't see very clearly from far away and was looking at which machine was open . She began to yell in my direction in a rude manner that I had the wrong machine when I wasn't even there yet. Next , I had placed the items on the wrong side and was stopped by the machine . She came over and lectured me like a child on how I placed it on the wrong side . Once it was corrected I started to scan my chicken . Then she spoke again in a rude and abrupt manner that perdue chicken doesn't scan. She again continued speaking to me inappropriately . Her tone was condescending, rude and abrupt. I was so irritated and annoyed at her and I told her I don't have time for this and left my items and walked out of the store. I will no longer use Stop in Shop as my main supermarket . Life is hard enough without having customer service talk to you like you're stupid . They are supposed to provide help and not be rude and condescending . This wasn't the first time she has acted like this but today really put me over the edge . This cashier needs to work on positive helpful customer service skills and learn how to address customers .
