I purchased tickets for the Carrie Underwood Concert to be held on September 20th at Resort World in Las Vegas, NV. On the day of concert (9/20), I checked my tickets to ensure everything was signed, sealed and delivered. There was a notification on the mobile ticket which indicated the concert had been postponed. I then drove to Resort World and spoke with two staff employees who stated the concert on that day had been cancelled. I then called StubHub to request a refund of my tickets and was told I would need to wait until I received notification that the concert had been cancelled on the StubHub sight before I would qualify for a refund. I waited until 9/27 (a week after the concert) to re-call StubHub to request my refund. I recorded this session as I wanted to ensure there wasn't anything that could be said on either end to indicate fraud. I spoke with a representative by the name of Amelia who would not give me any additional information as to employee number or branch...she put my on hold twice and finally came back to tell me that I would need to wait for an email from StubHub saying the show had been cancelled and I would need to do an additional act in order to receive my refund. When pressed about the fact that I had already requested a refund a number of times, she promptly told me I would need to wait for the email and then hung-up on me. And...I might add, throughout the phone conversation, Amelia continued to repeat the phrase "No problem", which I feel is ludicrous, as there is a BIG PROBLEM with me receiving my refund!
Desired outcome: I simply want my money refunded back onto my credit card account that ends in 1680.
Buyer beware bought Barry manilow tickets for nyc concert for my X husband an I to attend. He is an alcoholic and was giving me all types of problems. Verbally abusive. Of course , I paid for tickets. I decided it would be a disruptive experience for us to attend concert together. I love Barry Manulow and am like the girl “Mandy” his most popular song. I could not go by myself. Did they want arguments amongst a couple at the concert? We would have been thrown out. After ordering following day, I explained situation and explained my case 4 times to different sales reps but no was the final gavel. How dare them not refund under these circumstances? I might add about less than a year ago my X performed assault and battery on me. They still would not refund if I made up that he did it day of concert. I warn people who faithfully buy tickets with Stub hub there is no way in hell they will refund you under the most extenuating circumstances. Never again will I use their services no matter how badly I want to attend event. Even if you get deathly ill forget about getting a refund. What is their net worth? No wonder. They are miserly and disregard circumstances around situation. By way, I should not have ordered from get go. I was destitute but I knew Barry and I are not going to be around too much longer.
