I purchased my puppy December. Melanie P. Always kept me informed and provided pictures each week of our new puppy. We picked him up April 16. I took him to the vet for his first set of shot and the doctor said he was a very happy and healthy puppy. He is doing very well and we love him so much.

I purchased a puppy from Melanie and I'm so happy I did. Melanie would send me pictures and videos whenever I asked her. I still communicate with Melanie whenever I have any questions and she's great in responding quick. I have not had any health problems with my puppy that I purchased in February . I hardly know where to start. In our opinion Melanie is the best. I was in contact with her for over a year trying to find just the one and with her help we did. She's always answered my questions and I had a lot and still do. Our Cookie is one year old and she has been a joy. Breeders really matter. They should all be as concerned about their puppies as Melanie.

I could t be more pleased with the pup I purchased from Melanie. She was everything promised and so much more. She is a round healthy bouncy pup. I've had two vet visits thus far and there were no issues at all. Melanie kept me informed with pictures and status reports and answered all my questions. She was flexible about pick up times as well. Just a great experience all around..

She has been very knowledgeable and really works hard to deliver beautiful, healthy puppies to the families that she serves. I had a great experience working with Melanie the owner of sugar sweet shih tzus. Last year I recently got my first female fur baby and now I could not imagine my life without her. Muffin is the love of my life! Melanie sent me great videos and pictures along the journey and I just knew that Muffin was the one for me. We picked up our new beautiful 8 week old Brindle Shih Tzu girl puppy about a week ago and are totally pleased with the service and kindness we experienced from when we located her. *** was a pleasure to work with and send us updates, videos and pictures regularly until she was old enough to come home with us. After losing my sweet baby Jewels in November I was truly skeptical about getting another puppy. My husband came to me with information from Sugar Sweet Shih tzu and I instantly perked up! *** was so easy to work with and very informative with any questions that we had. My Bentley is absolutely perfect! *** sent weekly videos to see his growth. I've never known a breeder to do that. She sent us home with the essentials that we needed to get off to a great start with Bentley! She's the best! I would definitely recommend Sugar Sweet Shih tzu to anyone looking for a loving little to add to their family!

I am very happy with our purchase from Sugar Sweet Shih Tzu. Our little man has been with us for almost a week now and is just as sweet as he can be. Prior to his arrival home we were kept up to date with videos and photos of how he was doing weekly. We actually ended up getting him a week earlier than the contract stated because of his clear *** of Health from her vet! He does have his first vet appointment with us tomorrow but has been in good health to date. He came to us basically potty trained as well which is a huge plus. I will definitely be recommending her to anyone looking for a sweet Shih Tzu Puppy!

I bought a puppy from Melanie P at Sugar Sweets Shih Tzu in Charlotte, NC and got him on April 18. Just 3 days later, on April 21, the puppy got really sick with lots of throwing up and diarrhea. I rushed him to our local vet and they said he had Parvovirus. He had to stay in the hospital for 3 nights. Now I have vet bills of $3,600 on top of the $1,800 I paid for him. My vet told me he was already sick before I got him, and since this disease is super contagious for puppies and can even be deadly, the other puppies at the breeder's place might be sick too. I think Ms. P is not running her business properly. I tried talking to her about the vet bills, but she didn't respond. A lawyer in my area told me to contact the ComplaintsBoard.com in NC. Can you help me make sure this breeder takes responsibility and pays for the vet bills?
