Super 8 missed nigth charged, even staying the following night, and already having passed dozens of nights at super 8

We thought that we booked a room at Super8 Eastland, TX for july 26 to 27. But when arriving, we were informed that the room has been booked for the night before, and we noticed our error. We received a room, but the motel informed us to charge for the missed night, too.in the last years, we've passed dozens of nights at Super8, and as usually valued guests, we've been a kind of disapointed, even understanding that the motel has legally the right to do so, as it was our mistake. We discussed with the management, but she insested in charging the missed night. But finally, she promised to arrange a reasonable bonus of Wyndham points on our account.
What never did happen.
So it seems that the lady only misled us to believe she had put credits on our account...
Can you please look into that? We are waiting either for bonus points on our account, or for a repayment for the missed night.

Super 8 pillows, tv not working, horrible beds

Not only did the tv go out in my room instead of a replacement I had to change rooms. The pillows are so soft my neck has a kink in it and is stuck tilted to the right. Went to the lobby at 4am about in tears to find out there is no other pillow type, and I can't get a firmer pillow. I can feel the springs in the mattress. This is ruining my time in Texas.

Super 8 general issues at below list super 8 hotel

We booked reservations, two(2) rooms, thru AAA for the 8th of august 2018 at

Super 8

2080 N Mannheim

North Lake, Il

Confirmation# 87161ec003663

Below is what we encountered during our stay, day one(1) evening of 8th august

arrival and check-in approx. 5:03pm

Room 121

1. Beds were not completely made, with only two(2) pillows, we had to ask for two(2) additional pillows from staff

2. No phone in the room, in itself a huge safety issue

3. Noise from 2nd floor(party), above our room, just before 2 am. Had to call front desk via personal cell phone, as there was no phone in the room. The noise issue was handled quite quickly

Room 123

1. 1st room 123, the tv did not work, no cable connecting tv to service outlet at the wall, Vickie (front desk) was very helpful, and tried a new cable, but it still did not work

2. There was a wireless router in the room, but none of our devices were staying connected

3. There was no clock in the room

4. There was no microwave in the room

at that time Vickie moved from room 123 to room 124, again Vickie was very helpful

Room 124

1. There was no clock in the room

Day two(2) morning of 9th august

After eating breakfast, we could not access room 124 with our key cards, neither card worked, (we still had personal items in the room, and had not checked out)

Spoke with Monica at the front desk, who sent an employee with new key cards, which also did not work, as did the housekeeping key card, which was attempted to gain access, also did not work

Finally a actual master key was obtained by staff and access was gained to the room

At check out, Monica, front desk was informed of all incidents and was very unpleasant and grouchy

stated "Well; wasn't all the issues taken care of" in a very unpleasant tone

Other observations during our stay in reference to housekeeping

1. Paper supplies, ie: toilet paper, towels and other supplies were stacked/stored in the hallway just beyond the front desk and on the way to guest room, (another safety issue)

2. Two(2) out of service refrigerators, (marked as out of service), stored in the same hallway

3. One(1) open roll of toilet paper just sitting in the open near main lobby

We have in the past have patronized super 8 for most of our accommodations and have had no issues, until this past Wednesday and Thursday

I hope that issues stated above will be looked into, and if we were to book reservations in the future we would not have to address any issues as stated above

Super 8 room, oneida st, green bay wi

I stayed at the Super 8 in Green Bay, I had got my key and then went for dinner, when I got back and went in the room it smelled like smoke so bad and I have allergies, when I asked for a different room he told me they were full and they could not do anything about it, even though I could tell that everyone had not checked in, I pleaded with him, he started to tell me that no one had smoked in that room because if they did a alarm would have went off, I just told him I was not arguing the fact, I would just like to move, he refused. I stayed but I should have left, I suffered all night. When I checked out, I complained to the Morning desk person and he started making excuses that always was a smoking room from back when they allowed it and nothing they could do to change it, Ah, how bout checking me into a different room. I will never stay at a Super 8 again.

Super 8 charges on my checking account

I checked into the Super 8 in South Boston, Va. on 8-10-2018. I later found out that they were charging me a pet fee that they never explained to me or had me sign for. Then what was even worse they have charged my checking account 4 different charges after stating they wouldn't and now my vacation that I planned back in May has been totally screwed up. traveled from St.Louis MO. to Va. for my Mom's 83rd birthday. Now that Super 8 has messed up my vacation money I had put aside, I am screwed. My reference # is 4080394. Super 8 is appalling to me

Well, its still going on. Super 8 charged me for a pet fee of $60.00 and refunded it and then charged me again for it on my credit card. What a wild place to stay. The worse experience I have ever had. They stated that they would waive the pet fee due to my service animal for my illness from the Marine Corps. I am a Disabled Veteran and I can not believe how they messed my entire vacation up due to the entire lack of policy at that Super 8. I will continue to post until I am reimbursed what I am owed. The headaches and Anxiety they have caused me is unbelievable.

My reference # is 4080394. Our stay at this Super 8 was horrible. The safe didn't work and never fixed it. The bathroom smelled like urine. The remote did not work for the TV half way. I have several charges on my checking acct. now and it has ruined my vacation after planning it for 3 years from MO. to VA. There are 4 charges pending and now my saved up money is all screwed up, so Super 8 has ruined my vacation. Never again will I stay in Super 8. I am a Marine Disabled Veteran and I am appalled at the way they handled this. The commode was loose in the room and moved around. The remote didn't work properly for the TV. Now that they have charged me for 4 different charges my saved money is all out of whack. What a way to ruin my vacation. Thanks Super 8. I will go n social media and let everyone know who I was treated, especially with my service animal due to my Anxiety from the Marine Corps. Can not believe the amount of headaches you all gave me and how much you made my Anxiety go up. had to take medication for it due to the level it went to. Again, thanks for such a horrible experience.

Super 8 unkempt hotel

We booked 3 rooms for 2 night at the super 8 hotel in Baltimore/Essex Maryland. 1st room had sticky floors, food between the spotted bed spread and the blanket. The towels were gray and stopped. We had stayed Friday thru Sunday. When return to hotel Saturday night the room wasn't visited by housekeeping other then they changed the 2 larger towels. Garbage and bed where not done. 2nd room had 2 queen beds one had 2 groves where it looked like people had slept there for years. 3rd room is where my daughter was staying with my 2 year old grandson. She asked for extra towels to bath him. She said they had got them from a empty room for her but they smelled. We were told the hotel only had 2 towel per room. Free breakfast was coffee, 2 cereals, 2 juices, defrosted waffles and white bread for the toaster. Oh the had a few apples. No bananas, no danish, no bagels, we were expecting a lot more. We have stayed in super 8 and many other chains hotels. This was the worst and if we weren't there to see family we would have checked out.

Super 8 horrible customer service

My family and I arrived August 9th 2018 we went into the front desk and booked our room for three nights. We drove over 11 hours so After we booked our room we went to dinner before we unloaded all of our stuff. When we got back to our room we started to unload everything when we seen a cockroach crawl across the bed so we took all of our stuff and put it outside. I looked around a bit to find more cockroach poop in the dresser drawers and also a dead cockroach.
I went to the front desk to notify Sal the gentleman that had checked me in about the problem and the first thing out of his mouth wasn't a apologize or anything close to that he informed me that I only have 15 minutes after I check in to inspect the room after that their is nothing he can do and he informed me that I couldn't get a refund after he finished being very rude and unprofessional and telling me bugs happen in every hotel (which I totally understand but I don't want to pay to sleep with them crawIing all over me) I informed him that I never asked for a refund I was just wanting to be moved to a different room after he informed me again that if I found anything wrong with the next room he still wasn't going to give me a refund ( which once again I never asked for a refund) he handed me keys to a new room. Which wasn't much better but we didn't find any live bugs in this room! Also the lady who refills the breakfast bar made several rude comments not sure if she just doesn't think before she speaks or if that is just who she is but very unprofessional.
On a bonus our housekeeper was super nice I wish I would have caught her name. Also after we got home we thought we may had left our power cord so my fiance called the hotel and spoke to Darlene who was so sweet and helpful she definitely went above and beyond and we can't thank her enough for just being the amazing person she is we didn't get the privilege of meeting her face to face but we would like to Thank her and our house keeper for being such beautiful ladies and having great people skills

Super 8 hotel, room, building cleanliness, guests, etc

Luckily when we arrived our room was reserved and available thankfully. I have to honestly say that for the price we paid and the situation we received was not worth it. I would strongly suggest staying somewhere else. The $20 savings was not worth it.
The issues were trash in the stair wells (that was not cleaned up after several days of our stay), various smells and orders (drugs) and some of the guests were moving what looked like their entire home into the Super 8 Hotel. Welfare recipients I'm guessing. The laundry facilities were completely dominated with the welfare recipients that lived there. Free use sinks were clogged and not cleaned for days. The morning breakfast was not worth going down for. Serious issues day in and out.
I my sincere advice... Super 8 struck out! We won't be staying at Super 8 anymore either...do yourself a favor and avoid the Super 8 chain.

Super 8 super 8 boise idaho

Checked in just before 4 PM. Rooms were not clean so we found a close restaurant to have a snack. Over an hour later we came back and rooms were "supposedly" ready. We have 3 rooms for 2 nights. One room still had dog food and vomit on the floor. The sheets in one of the rooms had blood spots. We asked 4 times for the rooms to be checked. The front desk lady was so nice but housekeeping didn't follow through. At 11 PM I asked for clean sheets so we could change them for ourselves. We had dirty towels hanging in the bathrooms. The front desk did their best but despite their help the rooms were not taken care of. None of the 3 rooms were actually clean, and I have a large family and not overly high expectations.

Super 8 my deposit

On 8/10/2018 I stayed at a super 8 in Davenport Iowa. At that time I paid a cash deposit and paid cash for the room. I called the night before and reserved a room and early check in. When I got there the room that I reserved was not available. I then got put in another room. I work 3rd shift and needed to sleep, I ended up getting the flu and being ill. I had to leave early, at that time she checked the room and gave me back my deposit. I then look on my bank account and there is a charge of 100.00 on there, so I called and they said there were damages on the sheets and the floor, there were no damages when she checked it and now there are damages? I demand my money back I did not have damages when she checked the room and she gave me back the deposit. I am telling you nothing was wrong with the room and they knew that because they checked it.

Super 8 service

I traveled to Canada for this past weekend 08/04-08/05 for a wedding. I unfortunately had reserved a room at a super 8 many miles away. Luckily, there was another Super8 closer to the ceremony. I was able to cancel the reservation I had made a week prior at a rate of $US 92. What was very unfair was that this Super 8 could not honor that same price, instead the room was over $US280 over $300 canadian dolloars for the one night. To say I was disappointed is the least. I ended up paying 3x more what my husband and I had anticipated. Breakfast in the morning was not impressive, no scrambled eggs, no sausage, very very basic and not satisfying. I just totally regret spending my money this time. Super 8 used to be one of my best choices but is no longer after this experience - it seems customers are not valued.

Super 8 security and amenities

I should've saved what I already typed. Anyway, on August 7, 2018 we checked in. Primarily because about 2 weeks previous we liked the service desk attendant and the fact there are cribs available. However, on the return trip from vacation, not so much. The "back door" where you can park closer to your room is not secure. Our middle grandson opened the back door with his "invisible" key card. It doesn't even close properly. That and the desk attendant were the biggest problems. I had to walk with my infant grandson and bad knees downstairs to get the crib he promised my husband David Cooper. There are other problems. We had to dump 3 bottles of infant formula because only single bed rooms have mini-refrigerators. (We had a fridge in a double bed room 2 weeks previous.) 2 lamps were not working neither was the tv. Had to send out oldest grandson down for more towels to bathe everyone and more toilet paper. Yes the free breakfast is not that great, but that's not why we chose this motel. You might even look into possible prosprostitution and drug dealing there. But please fixthe security and other hazards at this location in Springfield, Missouri. Thank you

Super 8 room issue

when leaving the super 8 in Ofallon il I was flipping the covers back on the bed I slept in and found a used tampon. I told the receptionist and was promised my money back and a couple free nights, I received my money am still waiting on the free nights. This was especially bad because I had to explain to my to young boys what this was. they also gave us a pet room so it had a bad odor. we would have changed rooms earlier but we left right after we checked in and wasn't back til late

Super 8 purchased room

I paid for a room that was in no condition for anyone to stay in. There were bugs - blood on walls - paint in bathroom coming off in chunks - desk had 2 of 4 drawers one hanging off track - wall was collapsing due to air conditioner leaking god only knows for how long. What a disgrace for a company & management. This is more an hour to hour motel for junkies & such not hard working single mother . I was more furious that after contacting management about this matter they said they would call back with a resolution in an hour & days passed. I don't like being taken advantage of & lied to. Manager Joe of this facility basically called me a liar said he believes his housekeeping & she said nothing was wrong with the room. I am beyond upset & have already contacted the BBB because manager Joe needs a lesson in how to run a proper business not one run by junkies & prostitution! I will stand up for what I believe in & I believe this particular Super 8 needs to be investigated! By inspectors no Joes housekeeping!

Super 8 Unauthorized charges

8/4 with 8/5 check out - Taos, New Mexico

Cards ending in 8160 and 4095

We stayed the night on 8/4, checked out on 8/5 - 2 rooms.
2 rooms were charged to card number 4095
2 rooms were charged to card number 8160
1 room is still pending as a charge on card number 8160

Both rooms for 1 night should have been charged to 4095.

I spoke to hotel staff today and this issue was not resolved.

Refund requested.

Super 8 service at super 8

I stayed at Super 8 Wyndham in Fredericksburg, VA. The attendant was rude and ignorant. He charged $70 my credit card without my permission. When I confronted him he said. If you don't like it you can leave and then walked away. I booked for 2 nights. I was there for 3 hours and he refused to refund me my money. I called the police but they could not force him to pay me. I left with 1 day refund and out $140

It has been 9 days since I stayed at the Super 8 in Fredericksburg, Va and I still have not received my refund of $70 hold, which was taken without my permission. The attendant said it would be by Tuesday, it is Tuesday again. I received an email from Wyndham corporate office regarding my complaint about my stay. They said it’s their policy and did absolutely nothing but defended their position. Wyndham has the worst customer satisfaction policy I have ever seen.

Super 8 super 8 in belleville michigan

We booked the hotel room based on the pictures on the website. We got there, the room was horrible. It's something you'd see in a horror movie. As soon as we opened the door, a garbage smoke smell welcomed us. I called the front desk and the room was supposed to be a non smoking room but was informed that our room was part of the smoking room before. And that is why we can still smell cigarette smoke. The bed was so uncomfortable to the point that every time you move a spring is poking your back. The worst experience. Waste of money. The people that works there doesn't know what they're doing either.

Super 8 briefcase left

Briefcase left at either Richmond Hill GA or Winchester VA .
Called as soon as we realized when loading the car at our nephews. Never asked for a description of the briefcase. The immediate answer was "Not here" at both places.
Never heard let me check with housekeeping
and I will call you back.
We all know that the first person to enter the before rented again is the housekeeper.
We all know a briefcase can't walk.
A sad situation. Papers and photos of parents/
grandparents/great grandparents/ Deeds and
a little cash for possible breakdowns.
Wyndham said they are not responsible -
All the motels are franchises.
Stayed at Motels 8's many times an always very satisfied.

Super 8 $87.14 charged and I couldn't take a shower due to the uncleanliness

On July 28th I stayed in a room and thought the price was considerably High. I was given a military discount but the cost still came out to $87.14. The bathtub, I took pictures of it, was so dirty I could not even take a shower and the room was very misty smelling. I would like to have a refund on my credit card or at least half the cost taken off. A customer paying this amount of money should not have a room that has a filthy bathtub and it was very musty smelling.

Super 8 was not a nice place to stay... I have photos

we booked a room on the 28th of july, everyone was booked but my husband found this. we stayed at super 8s before so ok .. when we got there the clerk said she only had that room we paid $130.00 for the night.. the fire alarm in the room was hanging off the ceiling and the wire was cut on it. the door latch that makes you feel some what safe was broke off. is was not a nice place i was up all night.. not very clean either. i am going to share my photos with the wyoming fire department. I think that is such a fire hazzard. that room wasnt worth $20.00 that was a sad thing to do to someone
