extremely poor service
Today 3-18-2018 I walked into Supercuts in the Elmwood tops plaza in Buffalo NY, wasn't acknowledge for 5 minutes so I walked out n went to tops came back a second time. Second time again 5 minutes before someone approached me, in the mean time Two Spanish girls (employee's) were at the shampoo bowls talking carrying on loud.. Other employee was cutting hair.. All looked at me but no acknowledgement. Finally the one Spanish girl swept her station cleaned her blades then approached the counter. At least 5 people in waiting area.. I get told 35 minutes for a wait.. Fine I waited 45 minutes! While waiting a couple Asian people walked in stole a product and decided to walk out. Spanish employee was told and said "oh well" proceeded to go cut, constant talking between the Spanish girls.. Employee decides to call the customer and tell him "if you don't come back with product, you will be arrested! " mind you she didn't see this happen or have the right to call that customer with threat, that customer came back n confronted the girl n she ignored him! Now I use to work for Super cuts, I know your protocol.. Why did it take several employees to do a fade for 45 minutes and the fades looked terrible.. Where not blended.. Need more cutting classes and some clues on customer service. Color shouldn't take 4 -5 hrs either. Terrible experience today! An Employee "Joanne" walked in from her lunch n I confronted her to do my hair.. Good job but layering is off.. She cut into her guide seeveral time's! Some work needs to be done at this location, several walkouts while I was there, and a 2 year old running all over the shop including the cutting floor! Kid could of have been hurt! Thank God he wasn't! I'll never go there again, terrible!
hair color process
I went to my local Supercuts for a cut n color - and went home in severe pain from a chemical burn from the stylist leaving the product on for way too long. She managed about 4 cuts before attending to my processed hair and timer which went off ... My head is now oozing and I am in great pain. I tried to call them and went over that same night after picking up medicine called in by my Dr but they were closed and no answering machine.

Objectively, this place commits to appointments, still makes customers wait obscene amounts of time such as over 45 minutes, and then takes another person who came in after me for the same stylist. I could not possibly recommend lower of this business. I spoke with the manager, Audrey, who was less than useful, offering nothing more than an apology along with droning worthless explanation of how the stylist somehow got delayed, to which I recommended training their scheduler to me more realistic with appointments --- energy on my part wasted. This isn't the first time this has happened. I would urge anyone who cares about their time and and sense of customer services to go elsewhere. This is the least customer conscious place of business I've experienced in Hilo on a consistent basis and they've just lost me as a customer. Heads up to you all, and otherwise good luck. There must be much better other places for hair cuts and customer service. Fast food customer service is better than this place.
staff
Amanda - located at Camfield Corners in Ballantyne NC has terrible customer service to the point that I am appalled. She made me feel like I (the paying customer) was an inconvenience. I've called Supercuts a handful of times and she has giving me incorrect information. Stating I couldn't make an appointment to see a stylist but they only do walk-ins. Then when I have shown up as a walk-in she tells me I need to make an appoint for color. Before she started I went to 2 particular stylists (one stylist no longer there) and I loved the service I got. However, now when I need my hair done I have asked for a particular stylist and Amanda has told me that I can't see that stylist and wouldn't let me speak with said stylist even though they were in the shop but states they couldn't come to the phone. She is quick to state hours the stylist works but when calling during those hours she doesn't let them talk on the phone for hair inquires. It's like she is a warden. She is very rude and she appears to be the manager. If this is who the company chooses to represent Supercuts I can't imagine anyone wanting this service. This woman is awful and her attitude is disgusting and she is a terrible human being.
Today, I called there wanted to schedule a same day in the late afternoon and she immediately said that person isn't available and gave me there ours of 2-8. dais to her, her they are at the shop that long why can't I schedule? She said oh, I guess you can, with a snarky remark. I am not sure if she has problems with the stylist or is just a [censor] to paying customers?

the customer service was not up to par. they need help!
I was a walk in, came in at 11:20am the receptionist said it would be 10-15 mins no problem I took a seat. Actually waited 20-25 mins still wasnt seated. Other customers with appointments at 11:45 came in and I was skipped over. I was a little annoyed. Then another customer came in with no reservation and was told by the receptionist it would take 5 mins, the customer that sat down before me appoarched Twain the stylist and they started talking but instead of going by the list of customers that came in, he just took the customer he was talking to. I was seated for over 30mins. Employees need to be professional, and go by the list of walk ins. I would defiantly check up on this location. Hit up my friend and was able to get me into sports clips no problem down the street, told the my experience with your location and they gave me a discount off my cut. ( learn from your competitors, they we'll be getting my referrals )
customer care
I took my child to Supercuts, White Rose Shopping Center, Beeston, Leeds, United Kingdom, on the 7th January 2018. I explained she would like a wash, cut and style of part of her hair cut very short and the other 3/4 longer.
My complaint was the attitude and how he handled not wanting to do this style. He called his self "the boss here" and he "will not do it" and " it's ridiculous ". He was insulting and judgemental to me as a parent and also to my daughter and he really does need further training on customer care, even more so if he is a "boss".
Please inform me of what further action has been taken.
service
Waited in line. Finally asked why I was here. Told to sit down and someone would be right with me. Other customers walked in after. Another stylist took my name after and was placed last on the list.
4 stylists here.
I'm not from this area and sensed that they Knew this and didn't care.
Poor business practices. I have been to other Supercuts and have never experienced this before.
manager - greenbrook nj
Manager gave me a bogus $15 gift card
When I attempted to use my $15 gift card in Florida I was told there was NO VALUE on the card.
Dishonest and scamming manager doesn't deserve her position. I want my $15
Bob (I want to say Meade, but I really can't recall his last name) was the manager over this local supercuts manager who authorized my refund PLUS the $15 gift card for my next haircut free to use at any SuperCuts of my choice.
This horrible Greenbrook NJ manager deliberately gave me a gift card with NO VALUE. I was very embarrassed when attempting to use this "gift card" recently at my SuperCuts in St Petersburg FL

Contact Bob (Meade) who authorized the refund and $15 gift card.
His ship manager at the Greenbrook NJ store deliberately issued me a BLANK gift card When she was instructed to issue me a gift card for my next haircut FREE.
She needs to be reprimanded!

service
I went into Supercuts on Passaic Street in Garfield, NJ today. The manager, Annie was publicly humiliating one of her workers. The girl looked to be very embarrassed and upset. I have never seen such an unprofessional in all my years of getting my hair done. Bosses are not supposed to talk down to their staff especially in front of customers. Needless to say I walked out without getting my hair done. I will not support a business who allows bullying.
haircut over charged
request for refund. The lady that was cutting my hair over charged me. $35.00 for shampoo, cut, and style. You didn't style my hair at all it was awful.

Friday December 1st 2017 at 5:15pm I didn't get the gales name, she wasn't wearing a name tag. The gale looked similar to this picture. I probably won't ever go back there again.
lorrella
Wow... you'd think your stylist would know how to use clippers - not Lorrella. She spent 15-30 seconds each time changing from 3 to 5 to 6 back to 3 back to 6. I've used clippers before and learned to "let the clippers do the work", not Lorrella - she scraped my face and ears hard - like, the insides...what? Usually I love getting the back of my neck buzzed close - not with Lorrella. She dug the clippers into the back of my neck and went FAST, irritating my skin greatly. A haircut that usually takes 20 minutes... not with Lorrella - it almost lasted an hour. Torturous. Disastrous. I do not know how she could possibly be employed at Supercuts, or any hair cutting establishment. I have never, in my 31 years of life, had such an untrained, unskilled stylist. This job is clearly not for her. She cut around my ears almost an inch above, giving me an odd look for weeks... thanks Lorrella.

So I went to get an haircut tonight at 6 p. m. Give our take some minutes. Overall customer service was great I can't complain about that. Problem is my earring is now missing. I have never had an earring yanked out before in my life of getting haircuts. So I went to do my normal cleaning and my expensive earring says look for me. I am livid. How can I earrings replaced?
career
I hate working for this company. They do not care about their employees. I have worked for the recently bought out company for 8+ years. I recently get bumped up to assistant manager for a 10 cent raise! Does not offer any benefits, over works their employees, doesn't give 2 [censor] if they have a family or a life. While I'm working my [censor] off Christmas Eve, instead of being with my family, higher management is enjoying their family. Equal opportunities, and more time off for holidays would very much be appreciated. Get off your [censor] high horse, if you get 3 days off for holidays, so should your employees.
woman who cut my hair at factoria - 12660 se 38th street, bellevue, wa
I recently went for a simple haircut — the usual bob — no different from the usual haircut I had been getting from Supercuts in the past 11 years. Somehow, this particular woman — I don't know if she was having a bad day or what, but she was very curt and rude. I could tell that she cut my hair with very little effort. I could tell that it was not even and I told her so. She kept insisting that it was even. She took the front ends — the front ends on my left and the ends on my right and compared the front ends and insisted that both were even. Yes, they appeared even, but the left side by my left ear and beyond were definitely not even with the right. I took her word for it, but when I got home and looked at it again and the next day, I looked at it again, and it definitely was not even. Furthermore, the inside layer was long and the outside layer was short unlike the right side of my hair.
I had been going to SuperCuts for 11 years and everyone in Bellevue, WA who had cut my hair had always done a conscientious and precise haircut. I had always been happy with my haircuts. This particular woman did a sloppy and lazy job like she hated working for Supercuts. I don't know why I even bothered to tip her. She was totally not deserving of a tip - least of all a job! She was very rude, arrogant, with an attitude. People like that give Supercuts a bad name and should not be working for Supercuts. Supercuts deserves better.
service
I went for an haircut @ Olio Rd, Fishers IN location, the store was open without any customer, the open sign was still on with doors open, however when I walked in, was rudely greeted by a white aged man, and he said he would not cut my hair and also offended me saying go back to my country to have Haircut. I will never in my life will put my foot in Supercuts again.
shampoo, haircut, blow dry
First time in salon. I just moved to Mobile and was looking for good salon. I took my chances at Supercuts on Cottage Hill Rd. I am not one to make a scene, but by far the worst in my lifetime. I used to teach cosmetology outside of Chicago in the early 70's and this person would not be on the floor serving the public. I showed her MY picture of how I wanted it. So I wasn't aaking for anyone else's hairstyle. It's me. I will include that picture and how I was sent out of shop. A total waste of money. Very upset.
haircut
I went in with multiple pictures of the haircut that I was looking for. And to reiterate, I told the girl, collar bone length and inverted. I left with a straight across, chin length, terribly styled (I asked for a straight blow dry) hair cut. I'm not terribly picky about my hair but the fact that I can't even throw it up into a pony tail has me a bit irked. All of that aside, my hair was about two feet long and I told her I wanted to donate it. So she said no problem- I assumed she knew what she was doing. Instead, she turned me around, hacked off all of my hair and threw it in a bag- without tying it. Those who donate hair know that hair that is not tied- is rendered useless. So I got home and tried to restyle my hair and no matter what I do to it, it looks awful. And I can't even get it up off of my neck. I am really really really unsatisfied and will be going elsewhere to try and have someone salvage what has been done.
rude
We showed up early before opening waited. We wanted with no problem. When the stylist showed up we waited a few minutes for her to get things prepared for the day. When we went in my dad went up to sign in she rudely said she wasnt ready that her car had broke down and look over glasses and told my dad to sit down. She stood there huffing and puffing counting change in the drawer. And then finally look at my dad rolled her eyes and ask him his phone number. We got up and left it upset him and also me. We will not be going back to supercuts. When someone who cuts hair acts like itself a chore and not her job.
inappropriate behavior by hair cutter
The woman (Sandra) was going to cut my child's hair asked if we had washed it today. I said yes. My child sat in the chair and Sandra turns to me and loudly says with an attitude that we have to wash her hair. I asked why and she said it was knotted. I said not to worry, she could take the next person in line. She then handed me a comb and told me to comb it. I combed it but told her I would wait for the other hair dresser to cut my children's hair. After both my kids hair was cut I tried to use a $2 off supercuts coupon and Sandra said they don't take those at that location. I asked my hair stylist what was Sandra's name and Sandra shouted her name from across the room and asked if I wanted managements name and number also. She continued to shout that she had five other witness (customers). I told her that shouting at me in front of others was inappropriate. She then came up to the cash register and spoke in a lower voice to the woman who cut my hair telling her that she needed my receipt when we were done. My kids were standing there and became afraid after she asked for our info. They though she was going to receive our personal info and come to our house to hurt us.
In addition to all of that, I was charges 17.95 each for junior hair cuts. I believe this is the wrong price.
haircut
I went to supercuts on 10/22/2017 to get a haircut. I clearly told the person (male) to cut my hair so that my hair length is 2 inches on top and 1.5 inches on the side. But instead he misunderstood, used clippers, set it at 2 and proceeded with the cut and it left me almost bald. I stopped him and asked what is it that he has done. He argued that I said it was 2 with the clippers. I asked him to check the cameras for which he refused and left me there and said that he is not going to continue my haircut. I was left half bald and it was later finished by another lady.
