This is second time at the same supercuts in sevierville tn. I had a appointment at 11 am, the stylist linda went home sick, would have been nice had they called me to let me know. Would not have made the trip. Already sent in one complaint and have not heard anything back at all. This place is a joke and I will not step foot back in one of these cheap places again. Sorry excuse if they call themselves professionals.
employees
I applied for a receptionist position as I have worked in salons, and have had quite extensive training on most all the product lines they carry too.
I received an interview, where I met with two women. One a salon manager and the other an area manager. We spoke for quite awhile and the conversation flowed. I connected with one of the women in particular as she had previously worked with a family member of mine. All that aside I did showcase my qualities and qualifications for the job which both ladies seemed impressed by.
I was told that my references would need to be checked, and that I should hear back in about a week as they had other interviews to conduct before making a decision.
A week went by and I heard nothing. Several times I tried to call the contact info that I had but was never able to get through or a return phone call from a woman named Vanessa. Eventually I just called the salon I interviewed at, the nice stylist remembered me and informed me I had spoken with Lisa and Mary. Mary works here in Albuquerque so the stylist was kind enough to give me her number. When I called and spoke with Mary I asked if the position had been filled, and why she hadn't called? She replied that the position had been filled, and that she was sorry she forgot. When I asked if I had done anything to sway their decision she replied "no" when I asked if my references checked out she said "yes" when I asked if my skills and qualifications met the job requirements she said "yes"
I was a bit dumbfounded at this point and asked then why wasn't I hired, and Mary's response was we went with another candidate but we will keep your application on file. I then asked so your descison was based on a personal decision not a professional one? And again Mary responded that they would keep my application on file. I can't help but wonder if it is because I'm transgender? I can't help but feel like the decision was based on appearance and not skills and qualifications. When will equal employment really exist?!?
I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else but if it does you are not alone and when I'm wealthy enough I will start a business where we welcome diversity and individuality!
stylist
Stylists began to comb my hair by parting and placing clips, by 4th clip 1/2 of my head she diagnosed me with having one nit 7 inches away from my scalp and refused to continue. She put me in panic mode by creating so many unnecessary expenses, work and pandemonium in my life . It's unprofessional and unacceptable. 🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮she caused havoc. Went home threw away all bedding, brushes, combs, washed 10+ loads of laundry, bought lice medicine, lice shampoo and lice spray on 6/30/2018. Today at doctors office I was told its mild case of dandruff to my relief. Disgusted 🤑🤑🤑🤑I will write the worst review and will never go to super cuts again!

My second time visiting Supercut. This time I went to Braintree Supercut on granite street. I often hesitate to visit this salon because of it's bad rating, but this time I took the risk because I have little to make an appointment. Plus, Braintree does not have a sufficient number of barbershop who does a person of color. To my surprise, from the entrance itself, the receptionist was so rude and racist. But I ignored that and was sitted after two minutes. I was the only person there, the rest of the crew were just sitting and doing each other. The barber was a lady who not only to properly ask what my needs were, but she came with such face that tells me that I was not welcome there. She never even touched my head with her hand. Just rolled the machine on my head. Don't ask me what happen after that. As a person of colour and an immmigrant, I often take maximum care not to be aggresive in expressing my displeasure when I am attacked. But that day, I left as soon she finished cutting the top, no shape and nothing. The whole thing ended in three minute. This is the most worst place and the first place I experienced blatant racisim. I don't know why people even patronize such stores.
haircut for my daughters
I took two of my daughters in to Supercuts in Galt, California for very simple haircuts/ trims. My one daughter was "taken care of" by a young lady who should not be in an industry that deals with customers OR service. Her attitude was horrible and she did not give my daughter a 'super" cut at all! I wish we had never gone! Now I will be taking my daughter to a professional salon to fix what she did, which some may say I should have done to begin with, however my daughter already had short hair, had a picture of what she wanted, and should have gotten. I'm very disappointed and will never patron another Supercuts.

On May 26, 2018 I️ called the Camarillo Towncenter Supercuts and made an Appointment. Approx 40 minutes later I️ arrived at the location for my hair cut. When I️ notified the associate at the front desk that I️ had an appointment she stated it would be at least another 45 minutes. The room was filled with walk up appointments that had slipped ahead of my appointment in line. What's the point of calling ahead, making and appointment or checking in online if walk ups still have priority. It's extremely frustrating. I️ adviced the sales associate I️ was not happy and was leaving. She didn't even care. I️ will no longer be bringing my business, my families business or recommend others to get their hair cut here. I️ would like to hear back from someone in reguards to my complaint.
super it’s in edinburg on university
After waiting an hour and a half for a haircut and style I was very dissatisfied with the service given to me. The stylist shampooed my hair blow dried it and afterwards when I wanted a cut she told me she was going to have to charge me twice to get it wet and blow dry it again after she knew I wanted a cut. I asked her why she didn't cut it when it was wet and she didn't know how to answer and stayed quiet while sucking on her lollipop. I got up from the chair and paid $17 and left. I decided to write a complaint to their Facebook and they said customer service would contact me. It has almost been a month and I have yet to be contacted. I've been very patient but at this point I'm not sure what to do I'm very dissatisfied with the store I visited and their Facebook services.
child's haircut
I grew my son's hair out to submit for a movie part and went in with photo. She assured me she could do it. I stopped her after she totally [censored] up from the start. Another stylist, Sonya tried to fix it, but its absolutely nothing like I requested .
The stylist had food all over her mouth when we walked in and a nasty attitude to begin with, that should have been an omen. Never again!
haircut
I went into Supercuts Largo Mall FL. I asked for a trim for my hair that was down to my waist. Celyse cut my hair all the way up to my brastrap! My hair is now dramatically shorter and very uneven with zero style! I am furious! The shop refuses to refund the tip! The audacity is sickening! I've asked for the regional managers number which was refused. I left my name and number to no avail!
wash/blowdry and style
I had called to make a scheduled appointment with stephanie. She had an emergency and she was called to not come in and I was told that someone else would fill in for her for my scheduled time. I had driven far for this appt and when I got there the girl said I forgot to call you to tell you that I can't take you at the scheduled time I have other people and you will have to wait. She knew that when I called I had an event that i was going to and she still said no i can't take you especially when i had called to make a time to fit my schedule. The serve was very poor and i wasnt helped with dealing with a complimentary service for the lack of communication on her part for not contacting me to let me know ahead of time while I was going there from a long drive to get my hair done etc.
haircut
I called ahead and scheduled an appointment for 4/21 for Kutztown, PA location. I was taken almost right away and asked for 3" cut off my long hair. My hair had more than 3" cut off and it was extremely uneven(probably closer to 4" on the longer side and 5" on the shorter side) . She cut my hair with my part in the correct spot so that doesn't play a role in the problem. She talked the entire time so I'm not sure if that distracted her or what happened. I called on Monday 4/23, the manager answered and was very polite and told me to come on in after work and she will fix it. It was supposed to be a straight cut, no layers in my hair but even after having the manager fix it, I have some longer chunks, shorter chunks and a few small pieces that are longer that looked like they were never cut. My coworker tried to even it out, I need to look somewhat put together at work but I have to now pay for a second haircut elsewhere to get this evened out and fixed. My hair will grow, but overall I'm disappointed it is a lot shorter than I had wanted it to be for a wedding in June, and for the time I am spending to get it fixed when it should have been no more than an hour thing.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
cut/color service. cleanliness of salon. overall service. damage to my clothes
On 4/18/2018 I made a request on line for a cut/color at the Super Cuts Salon at 6 Mendon Rd Cumberland, RI 02864. I arrived at the Salon and approached the check in counter. The stylist, Lisa Jean, was counting out the change from the register. I stood there and waited a few minutes for her to acknowledge me. She told me she would be with me in a minute. As I waited I noticed a male sitting in a chair at a station. At first I thought he was an associate because the hair clippings from the previous haircut was still on the floor under the chair! And believe me it was alot of hair, not a trim amount but a haircut amount! It was totally disgusting. I have never been in a Salon in all my years and seen such a thing. Chelsea, the second stylist, came out of the back room and had him move to her chair, this is when I realized he was a client not an associate. Finally Lisa finished her drawer counting and acknowledged me . Told her I checked in on line. Took me to a station and decided on the color for my hair. As she was appyling the dye another client came in looking for Lisa. She left me to talk to her and told her to wait a bit so she could correct something with her dye from a previous appointment. Color applied, I waited for it to process. Took me to the sink to wash me out. Color ran all over my brand new sweater that I had just taken the tags off of that morning. Sweater ruined. Lisa acknowleged this with a very lame "sorry". My back was soaked through. When I left I couldn't put my jacket on due to the fear of ruining my coat as well. She had gotten dye on my face, neck and both ears. This is how I left the salon. 5 days later I still have dye on my ears! Totally unacceptable. I make less of a mess when I do it myself at home. I entered the salon expecting a professional service and left with a ruined sweater and dye stained skin. Also the feeling that I just received the worse service ever while paying top dollar for it. Lisa and Chelsea were talking about their manager Joe while there were clients in their chairs. Chelsea was complaining how she was bored. The salon was filthy with hairbrushes on the floor, hair scraps under the chairs, dust and product tops laying on floor. You can be bored after you clean! Now on to my haircut. She came at me with clippers and proceeded to cut my entire head that way, I have never had anyone cut my head with clippers. This was a very scary feeling. She only cut the top of my head with scissors. As I write this I cannot believe the service I received, it only makes me more furious. All the while she was cutting my hair she kept asking Chelsea to check on the dye job that was going on with her other client. So she was trying to do 2 clients at once and I truly believe it effected my service because the outcome was ruined clothes etc. I was finally done, paid my bill and left with a stained sweater, that I walked through the parking lot with, and stained skin. The next day I called the Salon and talked to the manager Joe who listened very patiently. He was sympathetic to my case and said he would get back to me. He called me on Friday and told me I had to do this complaint on line. So this saga goes on and on with me making a phone call and now spending time on line. I will never go back to Super Cuts. I decided to give it a try and I should of just waited and gone to Fantastic Sams. I was fortunate enough to find the sweater that was damaged in the Target in Nashua, NH. I am attaching pictures of the ruined sweater, my receipt, the new sweater and the receipt for the sweater. At first I didn't want any compensation but now I believe I need to be refunded the total price of the cut and color as well as the cost of replacing the sweater. This in my opinion is fair especially with the time I have spent telling this story 2 times over. Thank you looking forward to hearing from you

gift card
I have a gift card from Super Cuts. When I went to pay the register would not let the manager use the card. The manager of the store called the number on the back and got no help after talking to them. I took the card and also tried to call the number on back The number is 1-877-887-3447. They wanted me to put a pin # in and my card doesn't have a Pin number. Can this card be reissued? What should I do? I have the receipt.
non professional barbers...
Elisha cut my son's hair and we asked for a fade and she screwd that up.. She did not clean the hair off his face when finished.. Talked more to the other barver about her day than focusing on the hair cut...Verry unprofessional for the price you pay.. Will not return to this company for future cuts...You need more people that nlknow what they are doing
hair color
I made an appointment for Supercuts on Shelley road in Harleysville Pa. for 330. This was for a color only. Ususally it take about 25 minutes. I Waited 1 hour then when Angela started at 430 she used a darker color because they did not have the color they normally use and she was going to make something out of another color. Well it ran all over my face and around my ears and forehead. I needed to be somewhere by 6 pm and was late due to there unprofessional and sloppy work. They finished at 530. And my hair was over colored and dye all over my face. Then they charged me the full price after apologizing about how bad they did. I would like to have my 35 dollars returned. I will never go back to sloppy cuts again!
balayage
I did not have a good experience on 4-8-18. I exited the Easton Supercuts with orange hair after receiving a blonde Balayage service from an untrained stylist who was receiving instruction on the proper technique during the application. Not professional in my opinion. I understand that certain levels of lightness cannot be achieved in one session, however, there was no "orange hair" disclaimer. No toner was used on my hair after bleaching even after I asked about it. I was told the color came up just fine and toner was not needed. I was told that I could come back within a week and they would "try" to fix it. I will not return there and I would not like them to try to fix it. I will go to a more professional salon for correction. I spent an additional $48 to purchase products to "fix" it myself which I should've never had to do. In total I have paid $196 for a service that is unacceptable. I am attaching a picture of the hair i walked out with on the left and my hair after I personally had to fix it at home on the right. Not only did I waste 3 hours in the salon but I wasted another 2 hours at home to attempt a fix. I also am attaching my receipt that shows the location, date, and total. I would appreciate a refund for compensation as I will not return to the store.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Kelli Carson

The mnager or girl in charge with dark hair is very rude nd has n excuse every time you go in. I have went in 3 or 4 times to try to get my jir colored and I m alwys told either they cant do it tht ly nd when I sk if I can mke n appointment I m told no! I have lwys been told it's by walk-ins only and first come first serve. Well tody I went in md rhe rude manager ws during so. Wones hair nd amber didn't have custo. Er so I told her I wanted my hair colored md she did the field coming in o work had a color appointment coming in so they couldn't do me. Amber was talking to me and actually answered questions and I was talking to her about my hair an drre manger pretty much told her that she couldn't do it until she checked with the girl coming to see if she had color coming in and mber told her she was nd w just talking to me bout my hair. Amber had great xustomer service but the fork hired manager was very rude. I told them its different story every time nd when I asked her why did she tell me before they dont mke appointments. This salon definitely needs manager that cares bout customers. She lays looks and or ill.
The manager at Supercuts in Jasper Al is VERY RUDE and unprofessional. This store would so better I'd they nd a manager who actually cared not the customers and wasnt so rude. I have tried to get my hair done there 4 or 5 times and it is alwys an eccuse or lie. It's like she doesn't want to do colors at all.
She needs some customer service training. Working with the public you should enjoy people and your job. This slon is in desperate need of manger tht cares
barber shante messed my hair cut up did nothing near what I was told she would do
I told shante to give me a fade haircut on the side and a taper and she gave me a ridclous hair cut I'm very upset I have a very important meeting and your barber does this type of [censor] horrible service by the way I want this fixed I paid a [censor] 5 dollar tip extra for This [censor] I never even tip. you guys need some serious management renovations there I will never go to super cuts again and will tell everyone about this embarrassment
cost and damage
I went in as a new customer at this location, Sarasota, FL, about January 18th, 2018. I had been to other locations: Waltham, Ma. And they were super and reasonable.
In Sarasota, on Tamiami, I was charged 181.16 for partial highlights, a cut, and a blow dry I did not ask for, she insisted. I was stunned. If I wanted to pay that much I would have gone to a non chain place. Also, she left the highlight on too long, (socializing, short staffed, taking on others as I waited) left my hair too blond and damaged. I will never go back.
I now go to Wall-Mart for a $17.00 wash and fantastic cut!
