Unsatisfactory Experience with Synchrony Credit: High Interest Rates and Poor Customer Service
So we decided to check out their website, synchronycredit.com, to see if we could get some answers. The website was easy enough to navigate, but we couldn't find any information about our specific issue. We tried calling their customer service line, but were put on hold for what felt like forever. When we finally got through, the representative was not very helpful and seemed to be reading from a script.
Despite our frustration with their customer service, we have to admit that their website does have some useful features. We were able to set up automatic payments and view our account balance online. However, we did notice that their interest rates were quite high compared to other credit cards we've used in the past.
Overall, our experience with Synchrony Credit has been less than satisfactory. We would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable credit card company. The constant bills and phone calls even after we paid off our account were a major inconvenience, and their customer service left a lot to be desired. If you're considering using Synchrony Credit, we suggest doing your research and reading reviews from other customers before making a decision.
Review: Synchrony Credit - Pros and Cons of Using Their Services
Synchrony Credit, formerly known as PayPal Credit, has had some issues in the past with changing creditors multiple times in just 10 years. This can cause some confusion and frustration for customers who have signed up for their services. One customer reported that they had a late payment on a closed account and were charged for a $13 Netflix charge, which resulted in their account being closed without their permission. This is definitely something to be aware of when considering using Synchrony Credit for your financial needs.
Despite these issues, Synchrony Credit has made efforts to improve their services and provide better customer support. They offer a variety of credit options for different types of purchases, such as home appliances, furniture, and electronics. They also have a mobile app that allows you to manage your account and make payments on the go.
However, it's important to keep in mind that Synchrony Credit is still a financial institution and mistakes can happen. It's always a good idea to keep track of your account activity and make sure that you're aware of any charges or fees that may be applied. If you do run into any issues, their customer support team is available to help you resolve them.
Overall, Synchrony Credit can be a useful tool for managing your finances and making purchases, but it's important to be aware of their past issues and keep an eye on your account activity. With proper management and communication, you can avoid any potential problems and enjoy the benefits of their credit services.
Synchrony Credit Review: Great Customer Service, But Watch Out for PayPal and eBay
I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with my experience using Synchrony Credit. I've got a whole bunch of credit cards with them - five, to be exact. There's my JCPenney Card, my TJX/Marshall's/HomeGoods/Sierra Trading Post Rewards MasterCard, my TJX/Marshall's/HomeGoods/Sierra Trading Post Rewards Card, my Amazon (Prime) Store Card, and my Sam's Club Card.
One thing I really appreciate about Synchrony is their customer service. Whenever I've had an issue with a transaction or needed to dispute something, they've been super helpful and quick to resolve the problem. It's definitely made my life a lot easier.
That being said, there are a couple of things you should watch out for if you're thinking about using Synchrony Credit. First of all, I would not recommend applying for PayPal Credit through them. I've heard some horror stories about people getting screwed over by PayPal, and I wouldn't want to risk it. Same goes for buying stuff on eBay - it's just not worth the potential headache.
All in all, though, I think Synchrony Credit is a solid choice if you're looking for a credit card provider. Just be smart about how you use it, and you should be good to go.
Unreliable and Frustrating: My Experience with Synchrony Credit for Amazon Store Card
Synchrony Credit, the credit card company that Amazon uses for its store card, is not the best in my opinion. I have tried to pay off my balance and set up payments through their website system multiple times, but each time my payment was accepted and then rejected by Synchrony Bank. This has caused me a lot of frustration and inconvenience.
I have been using the same payment method through Amazon, PayPal, and eBay without any issues, so I know that the problem is not with my payment method. When I contacted Synchrony Bank directly to ask about the issue, they told me that they don't have access to email, which I found to be quite strange.
After this experience, I decided to cancel and close my account with Synchrony Bank. However, their response was not very helpful. They told me that I could never re-open another account again, which I found to be quite unfair.
Overall, my experience with Synchrony Credit has not been a good one. I would not recommend this credit card company to anyone who is looking for a reliable and trustworthy option. If you are considering using Synchrony Credit for your Amazon.com Store Card, I would suggest looking for other options that are more reliable and have better customer service.
Terrible Experience with Cotosen and PayPal/Synchrony: Late Delivery, Misspelled Items, and No Refund
I recently made a purchase from an online company called Cotosen on [protected]. I ordered a sweatshirt with a custom printed message and a few other items. Unfortunately, the sweatshirt arrived in December, which was too late to wear for Thanksgiving. To make matters worse, two words on the sweatshirt were misspelled. "Turkey" was spelled "Tunkey," and "Thanksgiving" was also misspelled. The quality of the garments they sent was also very cheaply made. To add insult to injury, the items came without an invoice and no return address.
I was able to reach Cotosen's customer service online and expressed my dissatisfaction with the items they sent me. I asked for instructions on how to return my order for a full refund. Cotosen responded with an email stating that I did not need to return the items. They assured me that a full refund would appear on my PayPal account within 72 hours.
Fast forward to 02-09-2023, and I am still receiving billing statements from PayPal/Synchrony. I have called, emailed, and written to PayPal/Synchrony numerous times over the past two years. I have even forwarded photos of the items sent and the email from the merchant stating they were crediting my account. However, PayPal states that they reviewed my dispute and ruled in the merchant's favor. This is confusing to me because I have a document from the merchant stating that they credited my account. Why am I receiving statements indicating late charges and interest for this transaction?
When I called PayPal/Synchrony, the person on the phone asked me if I had called my financial institution regarding this credit. I was confused because I thought PayPal/Synchrony was the financial institution. The billing statements clearly state that PayPal/Synchrony is the financial institution. At the beginning of each call, it states that the call is being recorded. However, when I asked the person on the phone to review my previous correspondences regarding this matter, she said the issue was resolved in favor of the merchant. This was frustrating because I have documentation from the merchant that they would credit my account.
PayPal/Synchrony said they would open up another dispute, but I am not confident that this will resolve the issue. I will never, ever use PayPal again. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I hope that others will learn from my mistake and avoid using PayPal/Synchrony for their financial transactions.
