I found this service to be a ripe - off. They claim to treat bronchitis. I have a long history of bronchitis. Every time I get a respiratory infection it turns to bronchitis. My doctor prescribes antibiotics and it clears up within a week. 1st consult the doctor was very rude told me I did not have bronchitis, that I had a bacterial infection. Impossible to do a culture over the phone. The doctor told me to take musinex. I told her I am already taking musinex. She said, "so why did you call"? I told her because I have bronchitis and I need an antibiotic. She disagreed and it turn into an argument. The conversation lasted about 90 seconds and I was charged $38. 00. I complained to teladoc who were very apologetic and polite. Teladoc did a review and gave me a free consultation. The second consultation. The doctor told me he couldn't prescribe antibiotics because I didn't take my temperature before I called him. I did not know that was a prerequisite to consultation. No where is that stated on the teladoc description of services. Our conversation then turned into a 10 minute lecture from the doctor about how antibiotics are no longer appropriate in most cases. This service is useless.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
It states on the Teledoc card that was sent out that I can use this service for an Ear infection. My daughter clearly has one but I was told you have to visually diagnose her with an inner ear infection. What other kind is there? Was told I needed to go see someone & pay another $120 to have someone look into her ear to confirm what I already know & what the so-called physician knows is an ear infection that needs to be treated with antibiotics. SORRY teledoc - i've been ripped off!
Use this Teledoctor company. It's only $12.99 a month and you can call doctors for free. It's great. I joined and love it.

I called for my daughter and was told that children are hard to treat and to take her to her regular doctor . Why does Teledoc offer services for children if they refuse to treat children because they are difficult to treat over the telephone?
Used the service for the first time. I was in a hotel room and had the worst headache that I had ever had in my life! I called Teladoc and the call lasted LESS THAN TWO MINUTES. It would have been even shorter if I didn't have to constantly say, "What did you say?" The recommendation from the Doctor? Take 2 tylenol every four hours and seek medical attention if you feel nauseous or throw up. The dr. spoke to me as if I was calling for IT assistance - not really concerned about my pain or the fact that is was so unusual to me. The guy at the front desk of the hotel could have told me that! My request for a refund was denied! DENIED! Never again will I pay for such useless advice!
