My name is Jessica Hagar and I have HS and was seen by Teladoc for an outbreak in December 2023. I was prescribed an antibiotic and everything went smoothly and was fine. Fast forward to today, I am unable to get an appointment with my primary care physician and have another outbreak. I made an appointment with teledoc this morning and the Doctor advised that it is against policy for him to prescribe an antibiotic. I advised of the aforementioned appointment in December and advised I didn’t understand why one doctor was able to assist, but he was not. I then contacted customer support to see if I could be refunded for my visit. The representative advised that once the appointment starts there are no refunds. Had I known that the doctor would not have been able to help me, I wouldn’t have booked the appointment. I only booked it because I was assisted before. I am asking for a refund of the $54.00 that I paid for today’s visit given the circumstance.
Claimed loss: $54.00
Desired outcome: Reimbursement

Alright, Jessica, here's what you need to do: Go straight to Teladoc and don't take no for an answer. Contact them again, explain your situation clearly, and demand a refund. Be firm about the inconsistency in their service—one doctor helping you and another refusing to. If customer support gives you trouble, escalate the issue to a supervisor. You paid for a service that you didn't receive, and they need to make it right. Don't let them brush you off. Stand your ground until you get your $54 back.
