The College Network Reps definitely need to know the rules and regulations of TNC. My wife was told that she could get out of her classes if she decided to take her first class and she couldn't do it. The rep said it would be "no problem". Well, she decided that she would feel more comfortable in an actual classroom setting so we called to cancel. "Well, there is a 4 class minimum that you have to take." the rep told us. He then gave us a 1-800 number to call. The academic advisers informed us that we had to pay back the entire loan! Who is lying to us? We have been told 3 different things! So, just be aware of all of the fine print and don't let your rep come in and sale you this college. Take your time. Also, always check out the BBB website. Don't make the same mistake we did. Hopefully we can settle this dispute, I just don't want to pay $8, 000 for 1 class!

There are 4 requirements to proceed with a class action.
1. Numerosity - enough plaintiffs to make class action an efficeint way to handle the claim.

2. Commonality - common issues of fact and law for each claimant

3. Adequacy of Class Rep - the person who is the class representatitve needs to have claims that are the same as the class members and that they are capable of serving as the representative.

4. Adequqcy of Counsel - that the law firm representing the class has sufficient skill and resources to represent the class.

I wish there was a class action lawsuit against tcn they are frauds and liars and now I'm paying 6000 dollars for nothing...I can't afford to finish school now because I have to pay it off first. They are terrible people and I hope my lesson learned will help someone else not make the same mistake...DON'T BELIEVE A WORD THEY TELL YOU!

I have been victimized by these callous, opportunist college network people! They connived with a credit union to release the funds to them and they are paid in full! Do they care if you want to rescind their contract, NO! I have been having nightmares, palpitations and countless sleepless nights due to threats and harrassment form these people. THIS IS AMERICA! I went with TNC, enrolled in Excelsior. Have not been able to take any classes because of my health. I asked the collegse network for a refund and was told "NO". I could sure use help with this. I am trying to get refunded for services not rendered based on a clause in the "contract" as the telephone representatives like to put it. Apparently I had 5 days to decide if I wanted to start the class or not.( Local colleges give you 15 days to withdraw from class with a refund!) I have been going through the same thing with The College Network. Paying $250 a month now for over two years and have not even done one class. I was lied to by the representitive and when I tried to cancel was told I have to pay the full amount which will take years even though I have not used the materials. I can't afford to pay my regular student loans because of this or attempt to continue my education. I work two jobs and can barley afford my regular bills. This company has taken away time from my family and is an ongoing stress in my life. If you know any way to resolve this issue please send information to kyangelalg@gmail.com

I completely understand. I have paid my loan off but cannot get to do even one class because since then my son has had a heart transplant and my teenage daughter had been in the hospital several times due to her handicap. I called on year two to cancel the whole thing and they told me the same that I couldn't get a refund and it didn't matter why. All they reminded me was that I could start anytime. this is my 6th year and I haven't took even a class, reminded the lady that my kids illnesses will not go away and I do not have time to sit down for several more years. If there is any way to get a refund that would be absolutely great. I wish I never listened to the lady that came to visit me at my home. I signed up for The College Network back in 2012-13. When I found out that I had to go to another university (Indiana State University), I immediately declined the offer. I had already took out a loan with Southeast Financial Credit Union.
My Advisor told me it was too late and I could not get my money back. I have not taken any classes or taken any tests and I am still paying on the loan. The loan was over $9, 000.00 and I owe around $2800.00. Please someone help me to get my money back or stop paying this loan. Is there a class action suit that we can come together and WIN? I have also lost money and taken one class . we moved so i called and stated i was no longer interested and tried to get the money back i also included the fees for all the tests that i was suppose to take I've called several times half the time i get noone or i get the transfer from one department to the next when I finally did get to the "right department" they stated i couldn't get a refund on any of it they also stated that i could transfer the education to someone in my immediate family but i also found out that was a lie. So in the end I paid roughly 10, 000 for something i can no longer use. So if anyone has a way to get some or all of the money back that would be great . TY !

I have paid off my loan several years ago. Ended up paying over 10,000 for the program. I could never get any help with the programs or able to get the testing done. I got on with life but would go back and restart the modules until a few years ago. Medical issues happened and have been unable to even get anyone on the phone. I just recently found out about the closure and the lawsuit. I was upset that I wasn't notified about the lawsuit or any of the legal issues that were going on. I have not been able to contact any of the attorneys to see if they can recoup any of my money. If anyone has some info or names that I could contact please let me know.

I paid over 12,000 for the LPN to Rn bridge program and could never get any help with the program. Never heard back from the “recruiter”, eventually the contacts quit returning my calls. I would like to know who to contact in regards to my money.

I have tried to complain before about my situation, but I have not received and answer. I paid in full, I have graduated, but I had paid over and beyond for test fees. This was to assure that I did not have to come up with the money before each exam. Starting 2014 (?), when this lawsuit started, I never received a check for the test fees. I have been out of 3000 dollars in extra money, I have given Is there any way I can receive this money back?
