Me and my church group were supposed to go to Israel with Quest Travel Group, but the trip got postponed because of the virus
Me and my church group were supposed to go to Israel with Quest Travel Group, but the trip got postponed because of the virus. Then they told us it was canceled and we had to pay $850 each, but they gave us a $425 voucher for another trip. They canceled on over 50 people and we lost our trip insurance with Travelex because they didn't refund us the full amount. I don't think this is right and I wouldn't book with Quest Travel Group again.
The Quest Travel Group Complaints 6
I paid for a Trip to Israel to travel on March 16
I paid for a Trip to Israel to travel on March 16. Due to Covid, it was cancelled, Quest won't refund money I signed contract with Quest Travel Group, paid $3498. They cancelled due to covid but instead of refunding money they keep saying it was not cancelled but only postponed. They have rescheduled 4 times instead of giving refunds. I am going on 80 years old this year and live on fixed income. My health is getting worse and I need refund more than broken promises. They failed to honor the contract and have kept my money.
Me and my group were supposed to go to Israel with The Quest Travel Group, Inc
Me and my group were supposed to go to Israel with The Quest Travel Group, Inc. in December this year. But in June, we got a notification that the trip was cancelled. They still do tours, but they cancelled ours. They gave us back our money, but they kept $200 for cancellation. We didn't know that they could cancel the trip and keep our deposit money. That's not fair. We were ready to wait until the end of 2022 to travel if we had to. But The Quest Travel Group, Inc. didn't want to give us information and sometimes didn't even answer our emails. I even told the Georgia consumer affairs office about it. This shouldn't happen to anyone else. If you want to travel with The Quest Travel Group, Inc., be careful. They might not keep their promise and cancel your trip, keeping some of your money. This happened to a group of 14 people.
Me and my family were supposed to go on a pilgrimage with The Quest Travel Group, Inc
Me and my family were supposed to go on a pilgrimage with The Quest Travel Group, Inc. We paid them a lot of money, like $7,596, for the trip in March . But then Covid happened and we couldn't go. They rescheduled it for March , but then that got changed to February 2022. We didn't like that because we didn't sign up for those changes and Covid cases were going up again. So we asked for our money back in August . But they said no! They said we couldn't get a refund because we cancelled too close to the departure date. But that's not fair because they changed the date on us! They also said we have to get a Covid vaccine now, but the contract said we didn't have to. And we have to pay for Covid testing too. The president guy said we can't get a refund because we cancelled too close to the "original" departure date, but the contract doesn't say that. It's not right that they won't give us our money back when they didn't do what they were supposed to do.

I was supposed to go on a trip with The Quest Travel Group to *** on March 20, but it got postponed because of Covid
I was supposed to go on a trip with The Quest Travel Group to *** on March 20, but it got postponed because of Covid. I understand that Covid has been tough for everyone, but that's not an excuse for not doing the right thing! Whether or not Quest is a good company depends on your definition of good. In my opinion, treating people fairly and respectfully should be a given for any company, including Quest.
I know of another company that had a trip planned for the same time frame, and they didn't advertise themselves as being good, but they did give a full refund minus a small admin fee within the last three months. They didn't ask any questions, and I'm sure they got legal advice on what to do. Quest took the high road in my opinion!
I want a complete refund, and I also want to know where the tip money that was given in cash to the group leader months ago is going. Since many people won't be going on the trip, what will Quest do with the money? Quest even tried to blame the group leader for the problems with his group, saying that the director should control his group. If I had one question for Quest, it would be what they would do in this situation.
I signed up for a Pilgrimage to *** with The Quest Travel Group, Inc
I signed up for a Pilgrimage to *** with The Quest Travel Group, Inc. for March . It cost me almost $4000. But because of the pandemic, it got postponed to March . Then it got postponed again, and now they gave me a new date for Feb 2023. The contract says I can cancel 74 hours before departure and get a refund with a penalty. But the company told me it only applies to the original departure date. The contract doesn't say that. They said, "Our terms pertain solely to the original departure date as all monies were paid out on this group prior to the Covid outbreak." *** didn't ask for a refund when everything shut down. Right now, *** is a level 4 travel alert and requires a vaccine. They said the vaccine falls under the government changes in the contract that they don't control. First, they said I couldn't get a refund because I didn't cancel before the original departure date. Now they're saying this. We need help understanding the contract language because they won't budge. We have insurance, but we can't get reimbursed because we're "afraid" to travel. If you check the *** Embassy for ***, it's not safe to travel. The pandemic messed everything up, and we had to wait after the second postponement.
Quest Travel Group got paid for a trip to Israel that got canceled due to Covid
Quest Travel Group got paid for a trip to Israel that got canceled due to Covid. They won't give the money back. Me and a bunch of other folks paid Quest Travel Group for a trip to Israel, but Covid messed it up. The trip was supposed to happen on March 16, but it got canceled. Quest Travel Group won't give us our money back, though. They say the trip wasn't canceled, just "postponed." But they've "postponed" it four times now. The boss, Carmen ***, is being a real pain in the neck about it. She won't cooperate and keeps making excuses. She says they already paid their vendors, her staff worked hard, check your insurance, blah blah blah. None of that is legal, though. She won't stick to the contract she made with us and she's not being honest with us. She won't give us our money back and lots of other people have tried to talk to her too. We paid for something we didn't get and now Quest Travel Group is keeping our money without trying to give it back. We thought Quest Travel Group was a Christian organization, but they're not acting very Christian-like. Some of the people who paid are old and on a fixed income, like my mom who's almost 80. Ms. should be held responsible for breaking the contract. The trip was supposed to happen on March 16, then September 10, then April 12, and now maybe November . All we want is our money back since the contract got broken way back in 2019.
