I purchased three tickets to see the Rolling Stones on July 10, 2024 (ORDER #[protected]). After 24 hrs, I received an email from them to 'Claim my tickets' and a secure.tickets wallet link, but these tickets do not look like original tickets, simply that someone has 'Shared' them with me but has not 'Transferred' the ownership of these tickets. I emailed them explaining the situation and that I do not accept these tickets because they are still owned by the seller, and that these tickets should be properly transferred to my TicketMaster account.
This is an essential step as the current owner of the tickets is the Seller. As per the Terms and Conditions on their website, "Electronic Transfer Electronic transfer delivery may not be available for immediate access. After placing an order, USER will receive an email with instructions on how to accept the electronic transfer; therefore, it is important that USER provides accurate email address information during the order process. The USER will be required to create an account with the associated ticket transfer system to gain access to the tickets, and USER must have access to a smart device to present the QR code displayed via the electronic transfer system for entry at the event. USER is responsible for contacting Customer Support should USER not receive the email instructions, be unable to accept the ticket transfer, or be unable to locate the ticket transfer email. Neither SITE nor FULFILLER will issue refunds for USER'S failure to provide a correct email address or accept ticket transfer offer. Neither SITE nor FULFILLER will issue refunds in the event a USER declines the ticket transfer offer. "
It is clear on their T&Cs that this should be a TRANSFER and not a SHARE of tickets, which are completely different terms. Transfer of ownership means that I will be the one owning the tickets, they would be under my TicketMaster account name and it is the only way to know that the Seller hasnt posted the tickets on other websites to sell them. Transferring the tickets is the official proof that the tickets have been purchased by me and that they are mine. Moreover, I want to add the tickets to my e-Wallet and this is not possible with the secure.tickets link, because these are simply being shared and not owned by me at the moment, although I purchased them. What if I wanted to sell the tickets because I cannot attend the event? This would not be possible because currently they are not mine, which is disgraceful.
I have contacted them via email and they said they forwarded this to the Customer Service department and that they would take a couple of days to reply. If I do not get an answer within the next two working days and a solution to this problem (the official transfer of the tickets), I will file a claim with my Credit Card issuer and will contact the State's Consumer Protection and the Bureau of Consumer Protection.
Claimed loss: 1211 USD
Desired outcome: I would like to get the official tickets transferred to my TicketMaster account or to have a full reimbursement, because this looks like a scam.
