Rip off
Took my car to get fixed they said solenoids and cam shaft has to be replaced then need oil change and also needed brakes. So I agreed to all that. Thinking ok my car will finally work. I get car back worked for 2 days then stalled out on me on the way home from work. Thank god I'm at a stop light or could gotten into accident. Took back to tire plus they said they had to adjust throttle ok got the car back then next day at work it stalled out. This time I took it somewhere else and what I found out was I need solenoids replace and oil change. Hmm strange tire plus said they did that. Now my car works thanks to other mechanic.
Desired outcome: I want a refund of 875. If not I will be blasting this company all over my social media and get newspapers involved how this company rip of a disabled vet and her wife.
Unneeded work they did not fix the problem.

On 2/17/23 I had my car in to Tires Plus for a 45,000 check up (I had 46,000 miles on my car). When I got the car back it seemed like it was running rough. When I accelerated it sounded like I was driving on a “rumble strip.”
When it didn’t go away, I took it back on 3/1 (two weeks later) to have it checked out. When they called me on the phone with their analysis of the problem, they indicated I needed to replace my sparkplugs. (They had already indicated I should do this on my next visit.)
I reluctantly told them to go ahead with the work and on pick up I asked if the problem was solve and they said yes.
Upon getting the car home I checked the Hyundai manual (which had been in the car) and the manual indicated spark plugs are replaced every 105,000 miles. And the problem did not go away.
So they did work that did not need to be done and they didn’t fix the problem.
Am I entitled to a refund?
Desired outcome: Refund of $225.90.
I want to mark this complaint as being resolved. I went to Tires Plus for the refund; they justified the work they had done but gave me a full refund. Should have done that in the first place but didn't expect to get any satisfaction.

My 1994 Chevy Truck Silverado was towed to Tires Plus inverness. I was told a Charge of $135.00 for diagnostic. On 3/17/ 23 was told needed a,Distributor I said OK. I was charged $259.99 for parts, $332.18 for labor plus shop supplies $26.57. Total $655.87
When I drove the car home started to shut of. Needed to continue restarting. I called this morning was told to bring it back. They wanted to charge me another $113.99 fir a diagnostic. Said No. Husband passed away 2 months. Been a customer 11years. I am upset,dissatisfied. Rita Flesher

Tires plus total car care
Hello,I call W.Colonial store this morning. So I setup an appointment for 1.I was told I needed to be there by 1.So I arrived before 1.I was greeted and started to give my information regarding the service needed. I asked about tires.Was told it was only 3 in stock.But he could get the 4 tires. I applied for the credit card and was approved. He called around a couple of delivery service. To have the tire delivery.Guess no one was available. Meanwhile I sat an watched tv.One of the customer stated she had been there until 10.They was only checking the ac and putting in a bulb.That didn't sit well with me. Finished the to her regarding her service. It about 2:15 I walked next door for lunch. And noticed my truck was a lift.Just sitting there. The tires was off.I come back 30 minutes later. Truck in the same position.So as a approach the desk. I heard the gentleman still trying to get the tire delivered. I asked why no one is working on the truck. He stated that he still trying to get a tire. OK but what about an alignment. He stated that don't take long to do.I stated to just put my tires back on and will drive to Kirkman Rd for the tire.Then I was told the mgr. was making a deposit he would swing by and pick up the tire.Now it after 3 and nothing is done. If the company advertise different services. Why do I have to come back on a different day. I'm so tired of company lying on the equipment not working. What is the purpose of setting appointment. This was not a good experience for me.
Damaged chrome rims

Two of my chrome rims for our 2-week-old F150 were damaged on 3/3/23 during a brake rotator inspection/job. The primary mechanic's name is Ken. The problem occurred when a female specialist took over while Ken went to lunch, we overheard; the female said she was tightening the nuts to allow us to leave.
We brought the damages to the manager's attention, Jamie, who took a photo and said she would order us the rims to remedy the issue and expect a call from her in a week. That week has come and passed and no call.
I've been checking every week now, as today's date is 3/13/23, and Jamie conveys no arrival of rims yet. Specific questions were asked to gauge whether I'm getting factual information, i.e. who were the rims ordered from, do you have a ticket # of the order I can reference to, when were the rims ordered, the only direct response is rims ordered from a vendor. This is the only answer we were offered. I'm just told, "I'll call you when they arrive". I'm concerned I'm being blown off, hence why I am taking this measure as well, as we conveyed this concern in a survey to Imeshia K. of Bridgestone Support. No response also concerns me.
Desired outcome: Provide and install the new replacement rims within a week from 3/13/23. Or, provide written acknowledgment and assurance that the remedy of the chrome OEM rims will be completed promptly.
Brake light fuse
Went in March 12, 2023 to have brake light fuse replaced. After replacing fuse, now my truck will not start. Only when you push it and pop the clutch. They say i have a electrical problem. My truck has been starting great for four years. The manager Bobby Breedlove, states that they are not responsible. Bull crap. I'm contacting Corporate office today.

My suv performed better before I gave it i. I went for an oil change and they recommended $1600.08 worth of maintenvce worm and changong of parts. I gave my suv for a total maintenance. Timing belt, spark plus, front breaks , gas gasket and much more.
Got the suv back, with 24 hours running bad, rough, making a whistling sound when idle or running. Is this what I paid for in this recession? My suv ran great before I gave it in. I wanted an oil change and they bamboozled me into 1600 worth of part changes cause my suv is 100,000 miles.
I'm pissed beyond belief. People have no money to spare in this recession but to keep their car maintained .
Last year I paid for a balance rotation and allignment package with them. Had no trouble with that.
This time changing all my parts they messed up. Saying now it's timing belt tension is broken. Well he'll isn't that supposed to be changed when u change timing belt . U don't put a new part alongside an old part. Even a non mechanic like me knows that. WTH. Now they want to charge me an addition 167 dollars on top of the 1600 I already paid . 🙄
They wanna make money off customers back. I'm very pissed.

Tire rotation and alignment
They replaced my tire a few months ago, along with valve stems and sensors. We took it in 3 weeks ago for tire rotation and alignment. The lug nuts were loose and 2 tire’s almost came off and the tire light was on. When we contacted them they claimed it was not them and the sensor was bad. It just needed air but they were to lazy. They also refused to replace the missing lug nuts claiming someone else did it, but they have been the only ones to touch my car in the last 2 years.
Tire warranty and service plan
Just had four brand new tires placed on my truck one month ago at tires plus. One of the reasons I chose tire plus over competitors, including the dealership, was a day how their service and if you buy their upgraded service plan in particular. For the service plan.
Flash forward a few now, and I present there with a flat tire. I'm told "sorry we are too busy, come back next week." I'm like you understand this is a flat tire right? This is the whole reason that I came to you and paid for the extra service plan so that shouldn't event occur like this where I actually have a flat tire and need help, that you would help me.
Moral of the story, choose somewhere else to put on your tires and most definitely do not pay for their garbage upgraded emergency service plans.
Desired outcome: I am refunded my service plan and customers know better than to use tires plus
Going in for 5th alignment within a year
Hi my name is Jacob peevler and I must say as reasonable as I am going to try too be I am furious with the quality and performance by your company. Let me start by saying I am going in for my 5th alignment Sunday 02/26/23 at one of your Orlando locations. Address 14508 E colonial Dr 32826. I am an executive officer for my company so needless to say it's hard for me to take days off to do this. (FIVE TIMES) but my 1700$ tires I bought and had installed by tires plus less than five months ago are wearing down on the edges dramatically and my steering wheel so crooked let's just say you wouldn't have to even look twice at it driving down the road. Oh and did I mention those 1700$ tires are garbage now. Its the same routine every time no more no less. I go in as soon as the doors open and they tell me it will be done around 3:00. But not surprisingly I get a call to pick it up just before closing time normally around 5:30. So I rush over and snag my truck drive down the road exited about my new tires and new alignment. Until I suddenly realize my truck pulls hard to the left with a sideways Toyota emblem on my steering wheel driving straight. So I look at my clock at at this time it's normally about a quarter till six (closing time) so I call my secretary next morning to find out when can I be free to make .y next appointment with tires plus ( usually almost a month later). So the 3rd alignment in I figured well maybe it's not tires plus maybe it's my truck. Ok that's fine. Besides leaving multiple notes to tires plus about having them look around during their free inspection when doing the alignment I had it taken in to a mechanic long story short he said it's all good I seen no problems. With confusion on my face I decided to was the money on ANOTHER separate mechanic same thing. He tells me looks good must be tires plus... So two more alignments later and 1700$ dollars in the pit here I am now hoping to gets some help from headquarters. Because I really need. So I guess what I am asking at the moment is for someone too call me back at my personal cell to hopefully calm me down. Because don't let my letter here fool you. My anger level is ten out of ten. Issue: Truck stalled and was towed to shop.

Issue: Pick-up truck was towed by AAA due to stalling out and low battery power on January 17, 2023 around 8.30 am. Turn signals was not working as well.
Cost for repairs: $1,500.00 estimate given @ 2 pm said date.
Finish Date: January 18, 2023 @ 3 pm.
Manager said truck was test driven around the block about a mile.
On signing the end of repairs paperwork to leave, truck was racing 0ff and was not idling.
Technician open the hood to see smoke and burning. He bought some water to pour in the radiator but the heat was excessive. He then asked me to leave the truck to cool down.
Later that day, the manager called me to take my truck to a dealership because the problem now is the cooling system and they don't have the expertise to fix it.
Desired outcome: The truck was test run without basic fluids check and my desire is to get my truck operable after the fix.
Management
I have bought 4 tires and a life time alignment from Tires plus, in 2021 I had to take my car to the Loganville GA Tires Plus 3 times for my breaks. They never did get it right and I gave up. 12/31/22 I took my car to this store again, they promised they would take care of me. I left my car with them for a rotate and balance, alignment check and oil changed. They called me in 2 hours telling me it was done, they were packed this day. I picked my car up at 5 very vague receipt, got in my car, tire pressure on 4 tires all way off, no oil sticker in window, no notes about anything. Called MGR 1-3-23, he promised me he'd personally oversee my car, dropped it off 1-7-23, left it there 6 hours, went by at 2pm, not touched, they knew my lug nuts were "swollen from before, I picked my car up at 4:30, wheels off only thing had been done was the oil change, obviously it hadn't been done the first time. NO alignment, no balancing, all the mgr could say was"i'm sorry". WTH? I'm truly discgusted with this store and this management. I plan on calling the corporate office and hopefully they will pay for my rental to drop off again. I have no more saturdays left to give my car up all day!
Desired outcome: I want a rental car paid for by Tires Plus, at this point I feel like I should be given new tires because they are worn unevenly from having improper air from a possible leak I've tried to fix twice, likely out of alignment also.
Engine replacement
My car needed to have the engine replaced back in January 2022. Tires plus tells me they can replace the engine on my 370z and provide a 1 year warranty. Less than one month later the engine starts acting up and they try to upsell me to new engine. I said you just charged me for this one that is supposedly rebuilt with low miles. So They supposedly fixed the engine. 7 months go buy and the engine is getting hot they tell me it’s $750 to get the problem fixed not trusting the mechanics at this point I bring in to another shop have the transmission replaced emc board only to find out it the engine timing is the problem. When I brought it back to tiresplus although under the 12000 miles and 12months warranty they refuse to honor it saying the seals and gaskets are not covered under the warranty and hit me for another $4800 to fix the engine they replaced. They said they installed a rebuild engine. When would a rebuild engine need all that work in 11000 miles. I have been a customer of tires plus since 2004 for all 6 of my family’s cars. But they lost me and my family’s cars and business for life that’s a lot more money over time than it would cost for them to honor their warranty. I contacted an attorney and he said it wouldn’t pay to sue them. I a reaching out to you as this is just bad business and they should be accountable for their work

Tires no road hazard offered by former employee
Ive purchased every set if new tires on all 7 vehicles weve owned from tires plus! Every one has had road hazard. Approx 2 years ago we bought new tires and I i assumed the employee was quoting me with road hazard given the fact that our customer history showed 100% participation in road hazard…. 2 years later with 35,000 miles left on the tires i realize this person did not add road hazard and im positive i asked if the price included it.
Desired outcome: I should be able to pay a pro rated amount (say $25-$35) and have road hazard added for the tires for their remaining life
Tire replacement
On Sunday December 4th I brought my F350 in to the Tires Plus located at 3910 SW College Rd Bldg 100, Ocala, FL 34474.
Immediately after leaving with the vehicle the front left tire began losing air. Closer inspection revealed that the wheel had been cracked on the inner wheel well. The crack is obviously new because unlike the rest of the wheel which is covered in soot the crack is shiny and free of build up. There are also tooling marks near the crack where the tech likely struck the wheel with a hammer or dropped it.
I spoke with the manager of location and sent pictures and was told that the crack was likely there before but remained sealed and only became an issue when the tire was changed.
The shop refused to repair the problem and quoted me hundreds of dollars to have the wheel repaired.
Desired outcome: Repair or replace the damaged wheel.
Customer Service
I am a loyal customer who will no longer use Tires Plus. I had a trailer tire that was plugged in an emergency situation. I got the trailer to a secure location, removed the tire and drove 30 miles to the store location where it was purchased. The employee refused to help me and advised that since the tire was plugged he wouldn't patch it. He wouldn't even look at the tire to see if it could be repaired.

Took vehicle in and they had it all day returned at 3pm and they had not started it. Waited for vehicle and left back 3 hour drive home. During drive really loud noise under vehicle. The next day same tire flat again. Took it in locally and they found the previous company only put in 4 of 14 clips in plate making it slap while driving. New company had to purchase and install clips and replace the tire as it was then shot

Had 4 new tires installation packages and alignment for all. Also, a new battery installed. Total of $ 1,464.06 (50k mile limited warranty).
On 6/2/2022, Invoice 168271, mileage 120,997. Tires Plus
Had 2 new rear tires installed due to completely bald and cord showing. Stated from burnout and I said no, something wrong with tires or alignment, refused to replace tires warranty free. Started to rain and daughter with kids not driving on bald tires. For safety replaced tires.
Installed tires and provided no alignment. Total of $ 576.97 (50k mile limited warranty.
On 10/29/2022, Invoice 122549P, mileage 126010 Infinity
Again had 2 new rear tires installed. Completely bald. Alignment check illustrated bad alignment and damaged parts from previous work.
Total of $ 845.28 (50k mile limited warranty)
About 5k mileage tires worn out with a 50k warranty tire stated.
Dealing with store does not work.

Winter tire change
November 8th, 2022.
I am literally completely pist off because if I schedule an appointment I feel like it should be honored and I will honor the financial obligations that we agreed too but Really this has been the most difficult day and very unprofessional staff.
I promise this I will never do business with this mickey mouse company again
If I pulled this crap at my job I would not have a job anymore.
I had a 3 pm appointment and at 4:30 pm they took my car finally and it’s now almost 6 pm and . they have my car still in the air and no progress has been made.
I am very dissatisfied with the customer service.
Desired outcome: It would be nice if they keep t close to the schedule or told the customer that this will be a day long job.
