my daughter in law as of this morning quit working at your facility here in north las vegas, there were two young men 18-20 working with her and there goal in life was to make her life hell and your people did nothing about it. work place harassment is a crime and all they told her was try to ignore them. she asked to be moved but you said cant because they were all in training. but they work right in front of her so there was no way to ignore them. if this is how you run your company i want no part of it and will tell others as well what kind of business your running there because if employees have to quit to avoid harassing people you shouldn't be in business at all.

Refused to accept my return because I lost the register receipt
Occurred on 9/9/2022 AT 3:30 PM. I bought several items for my out of town niece. She caught Covid & now is in a nursing home. I lost the receipt in my travels to her.
Brought the items to return and the refused with out the register receipt. All price tags were on each garment. There are NO SIGNS in the stores, on the register receipt or at their websites giving customers notice.

Hello, I just left your Elizabeth City North Carolina store. I brought a mug in that my husband purchased for me for my birthday. When my husband washed it prior to it's first use (mind you he did so gently and carefully) a piece of the porcelain chipped off of the mug. I explained this to the cashier doing returns, she called over a supervisor and this woman told me she would not be able to take it back because I broke it. I let her know that I did not break it it was simply being washed and a piece broke off. She was so incredibly rude to me stating that " I broke it" and that they would not be returning it in a very rude and condescending tone. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she huffed and stomped off. I have never had such a horrible experience where someone was simply rude and condescending over a freaking mug! I love TJ Maxx stores. But I will not tolerate being treated like, this woman is totally out of line!

I purchased a pair of Tommy Bahama shoes on 8/21/22. I wore them 2 times at which time I noticed the bottom of the shoes were coming apart. I took them back after locating the receipt on 8/31 and was told that "if I wore them" they could not be returned. I understand the policy to some degree that someone would buy them, wear them somewhere for one night and try to return...but defective merchandise that only showed up after wearing? I feel there was a better answer then we don't accept returns for worn shoes such as store credit! I admit I am usually cool but that really upset me. I'm 75 and expect shoes to last longer than me at this point! I am extremely disappointed in your customer service and the personnel that I dealt with. Doubt I'll shop there again with a bad taste in my mouth.

Inappropriate customer treatment near store closing time
This incident happened on Saturday, 8/13/22 around 9:20 pm.
My wife and I were shopping for some specific desk accessories for one of our boys. We entered the store about 9:05 pm, well aware that 9:30 was store closing. At 9:15 pm we heard the announcement over the speakers that in 15 minutes the store was going to close, and for customers to please bring the final selections towards the front of the store for check out. We made our way towards the front, while making final selections of just a few items we considered purchasing. One employee looked at my wife and told her 'you need to go to the register'; at this time were about 7 or 8 minutes left prior to closing time. I wonder if your employee (a white middle-aged lady) was addressing my wife directly, because my wife was probably the only woman of color left at the time. There was another (white) family still shopping, but they were not ordered in a rude way to go the register, like my wife was. We decided to leave all the items in the front of the store and left without purchasing anything.
The same lady was passing the vacuum cleaner on the entry carpet at the time were entered the store and already then gave my wife that look of 'why are you coming in just 25 minutes before store closing'. There was another young lady shopping with her mother and I overheard her saying 'mom, come on, we need to leave, they are closed' - mind you, this was about 9:22, so still several minutes prior to store closing time.
I am a white man, married to a woman of color for over 30 years, and every time something like this happens to my wife, and she gets treated like a second-class citizen by another white person I get very upset.
If you don't believe me, I encourage you to watch your security camera video.
Desired outcome: Educate your staff and train them. Teach them to be polite, to ALL of your customers. People of color have human rights too; you do not need to treat them like slaves; slavery is over!! Situations like this are a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Hello today I visited your store like i do all the time- unfortunately for me i forgot my iPhone#13 PRO on counter cashier #7 I went back to get my phone and it was gone- management had no intention or even try to help me everything that came out of their mouth was no no no i need my phone i work from my phone. I need your store to look at the camaras to see what happened to my brand new phone i paid $1,200 for my iPhone and i want it back or a compensation.

Defective product
I purchased a kitchen soap dispenser on 5-6-22. The cost was $4.99 + tax, $5.29 at the Richland Town Center store in Johnstown, PA. I did not use it immediately, left in the bag for a month or so. When I did fill it, I noticed soap was on the counter underneath it and realized there was a small crack on it where the soap was coming out. I do have the receipt, so it tried to return it. The clerk I went to checked with a manager and I was told since it was used, it could not be returned. Without it being used, I wouldn’t have noticed the crack.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund or store credit.

I am making a complaint about manager Connie in Victoria Tx 77901.
Connie is a very harsh, crule manager, she doesn't let her employee talk in spanish, she says only english is permitted at work, she is being so racist toward the hispanic workers. Connie is also so unfair to hispanic and she doesn't give them hours, just because she can do that and she is the one making the schedule. I have several coworkers that have quit because of her attitude and the way she treats them. Everyone has made a complaint about her with the other Manager but nothing has change, she is still being so racist. Connie also has favoritism with some coworkers and those are the one that get the hours and those are the ones that she treats them good. Please get this issue resolve or We will have to take further actions. Also talk to Connie about leaving her personal life at home and don't be taking her problems out at work, because if she comes in mad she will take it out on workers and starts disrepecting them. Rude employees and dirty floors
Between employees being rude to customers, employees being rude to other employees in front of customers and employees flat out ignoring customers, and dirt all over the floors, the Cranberry Township PA location has really gone down hill in the last year.
I used to shop there all the time until I had 3 bad experiences the last 3 times I was there. I was ignored by a young black male (I think his name was Denny or Dennis) and a young white female a few months ago as they were talking to each other. I then had 2 separate times where I experienced awful interactions from the cashiers. One was an older women with gray hair that stood there complaining to me about how awful her day was the entire time about 2 months ago. I did not see her name tag. And the last time the name tag said Patty about a month ago. I was pestered the entire transaction about the credit card and she just kept telling me I would regret not getting it. I don’t know how many times I told her no and each time she got more persistent and rude about it.
Desired outcome: For those in charge to know that their employees are not being polite to customers and correct it so that they don’t lose more customers.
My wife called about the balance on our credit card, She was forwarded to a Medical alert necklace promotion. She told the employee, that she was not interested multiple times, the employee continued to talk over my wife, and insisted that she answer some medical questions, completely ignoring her request to get the balance on the card, would not take no for an answer to the promotion being offered.. Continued to give details on the promotion, completely ignoring the original request for balance due. The called ended with my wife hanging up in frustration. This happed on two different occasions. The question on the balance due on the card has still not been answered! We will no longer be customers of T.J. Max! and will be cutting up the card!
I was given two clothing items and they unfortunately didn't fit me, they were a size smaller
They items were a Dockers shorts and a Dockers pants, the two items were a size too small for me so I didn't have a receipt for them because it was a b-day gift. So I went to the store and asked if I could exchange them for a bigger size in which I was looked upon cause of the way I was dressed,(I'm homeless) I told them if they could please assist me in found the items on there racks because I saw them in the racks and the items I was trying to exchange was not damaged or stained they were in good condition and they had the original tags of the retailers, u which all your items have the same tags from the retailers. So all they just did is looked at how I was dressed and denied my service. So you guys need to train these staff more and teach them to be more respectful because at the beginning of me entering the store I was fallowed by the staff thinking I was going to steal due to how I was dressed. Marshalls looking for a pair of baby sneakers. There was an area for clearance shoes which all had red stickers. There was also a cubby that had 4 Reebok boxes stacked. Above, there was a sign that stated "Reebok $24.99" crossed out with a big red tag $20. My pair rang up $24.99 and cashier went to front-end manager for adjustment. I was asked if they had a red sticker which they did not. I offered to show "Amanda" where I found the boxed pair. She was extremely put out and it showed as if I was wasting her time. After pushing past customers, she then scrutinized the sign without speaking to me. Quite smugly and abruptly, she then said "The SKU is different. They ARE NOT $20." I took the remaining boxes and stacked them in front of her on the top of the cubby asking if they were all wrong? She then said that I was being rude then not so nicely opened 2 boxes. The first Reebok box was a different style while the second Reebok box had another box within it containing Tommy Bahamas. I then asked her although mine were a different style Reebok would she honor the lower price {as they were not only within the $20 Reebok cubby but also the last pair of that style). She replied "NO". She returned to the cashiers and under her breathe she said "If you didn't throw boxes at me, I would have honored the price." Embarrassing. Then she said loudly "Have a good day!" repeatedly... dismissing me. I believe that she never intended to honor the price as it appeared to me that her main objective was to "prove me wrong".
I have never had this kind of experience at any TJX Company store. If anything staff are usually kind and respectful. For $4.99 I was belittled. humiliated and dismissed. I informed "Amanda" that I would be contacting corporate regarding her treatment of me. Her response was obviously fascicious stating for the last time "Have a good day." further dismissing me in front of customers, cashiers and my young grandson. Her bravado in front of us all was unprofessional to say the least. Unacceptable.
